I’d call them anything but honest. Bought my hybrid from Hayes Auto and when my hybrid battery went out they suggested Honest engine. Honest Engine then proceeded to quote me $5000 for my new battery before labor. I went elsewhere and got one for $2400 including labor. That’s just scummy and a disgusting attempt to take advantage of someone who doesn’t know prices.

Very professional service, they found out it wasnt what was suggested by another place and did the right work at a reasonable price!

This is amzing!!!!! I took my old dodge here and they got fixed it up like new when they did my heads and put in a new radiator. I got bids from other places and they topped all of them. They are super nice and really cool people. They are my forever mechanic! Five stars for this place

The first time I went to the give me a quote after they drop the car off they called me back and said they missed quoted it instead of working on the car and surprising me with the bill later so when I brought the car back they did the job and back there and back up their work Paul the mechanic I went to kind of like second command roll nice guy honest and wont beat you out of the part if somethings wrong Ill call you on it I always bring my cars in to have them checked out before I buy them and if I have the money to afford it and cant do it myself Id bring it to them the name Honest Engine is truly there is truly earned you wont be disappointed if you go to them and have your car maintenance or wrench time by their guy

Its really ironic that the name of this scam shop is Honest Engine, when they tried to rip my dad off super-terribly and almost got away with it. Just another auto shop living up to the scammer reputation. Steer clear of this place.

Paul and Jesse are very knowledgeable about all vehicles I have a Dodge pickup truck in a Honda Civic and a Honda Accord and everytime I need their help they know what to do and theyre very helpful the price is reasonable and I can walk away knowing that I was well taken care of and my vehicles are driving away safely.

My bike has needed small repairs 3 times I was able to get a mechanic to just help me and he did not charge me

Charged me 120 and 3 hours to get a broken bolt out my alternator and I had the alternator in hand. Took it to ozmotive in folsom n it took less than 10 mins n 20 bucks.

Wanted some repair work done to our front end after a fender bender, after paying $1500 to get it fixed we started to notice that they had done the absolute minimum to get the car back into working order. After several return trips it became apparent they either couldnt or wouldnt fix our problems - ended up getting our problems fixed someplace else. Too bad there are a no stars rating - but honestly go someplace else before coming here....
