Quality Tune Up at 1700 Douglas Blvd is the only auto shop I will take my 2005 Chevy Tahoe to. I am so happy with all of the services that they have provided over the last almost four years now, that I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else! The staff is not only professional, they actually care about their customers. Last year when I was in having work done, Todd actually took the time to let me know that my tires were in critically dangerous condition! He told me to get them looked at before even going home! My Dad and I ended up at the tire store in our area, just in time. I needed all new tires (pictures included). If not for Todd, my family and I might not be here today!! Really!! Their prices are competitive, work is amazing and done early or on time, the staff I have met have all been pleasant and helpful! Youll never need to go anywhere else for automotive work again!

At first impression I thought this place seemed great. They were friendly and welcoming. I came in on Saturday 8/14 for an oil change & tire rotation. Everything was fine with my car on Sunday and I was happy with my experience! Side note, the check off sheet they gave me SPECIFICALLY said I do not have any leaks & all was good. Fast forward to today, Monday, my car was excessively leaking oil so I decided to call them and ask if they could take a look. Again, super friendly & accommodating. I bring in my car and they tell me nothing they did was the issue (aka my car was not leaking from the oil change they did), but that my timing cover gasket was broken & “it looked like it’s been broken for a while since it was saturated - which is why its probably leaking. I said okay, they quoted me $700 to fix it. That’s a lot out of pocket, especially for something they should’ve caught on Saturday? And let’s not forget my check off sheet said I had no leaks. The front desk girl gave me a terrible excuse about why it wasn’t wrote down on my sheet when I asked her about it. I decided to get it checked by TWO other highly recommended places who said my timing cover gasket was absolutely not broken and that my front crank seal is cracked which is around $150 and not crucial to fix right away. At this point, my car is just magically not leaking oil anymore… after Quality checked it. Its just a little confusing and pretty irritating. Not sure what to think about this place anymore.

I’ve taken both of my cars here for over five years. They have helped out myself (college student that doesn’t know a thing about cars) multiple times and have been honest about what is going on and thoroughly explained what the services are that they are doing. All the staff are professional and friendly. Great service all around!

I come here for my changes, have for years. Its convenient and the folks are friendly. Today was no different other than I ask the guy who was going to drive my car into the bay to mask up. No problem, he says. A minute or so later he comes out masked and gloves with plastic for the seat and wheel. Rad. They addressed my concerns with covid as human as possible. Great service. Also, they checked my cabin filter. Did you know you had a cabin filter??? It was horrible!!! Black almost!Bleh! So they changed that too.Good job Quality Tune Up on Douglasville blvd.

WENT LAST WEEK FOR AN OIL CHANGE ASKED THEM NOT TO OVERFILL IT BECAUSE I HAD TO REPLACE OIL GASKETS IN THE PAST, BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH OIL. CHECKED OIL TODAY. SEE PICTURE, BELOW VERY DISAPPOINTED. CANT TRUST ANYONE TO DO A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. HAD TWO TIRE PRESURE CAPS GO MISSING SHORTLY AFTER THE OIL CHANGE THEY SAID IT WASNT THEM MAYBE IT WASNT.

I want to start off by saying everyone here is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been going here for ALL maintainace for the past 4-5 years. But today was the straw that broke the camels back.Had made an appointment to have a timing belt and water pump changed out. I spoke with management to work around my schedule and dropped my vechile off the night before. I know the timing belt is quite labor intensive and was told it’s be about 5-8 hours. Totally cool, I didn’t get any updates or a that dreadful call with a laundry list of other things so I thought everything was copestetic. Than finally got the call 8 hours later thinking ok it’s all done, but nope... my truck wasn’t even touched...as management forgot to relay the message about what repairs needed to be done. I know this place is busy and sometimes we all drop the ball. But unfortunately this was the 2nd time this has happened in a 6 month period. Time is money as i work 6 days a week and took the entire day off of work to get this taken care of, which didn’t get taken care of. And than management decided to blame it on the front desk girl that had no knowledge of my appointment or the repairs I requested. Which I thought was totally not cool. I probably would have reacted a hell of a lot different if the person I scheduled with and talked too in the first place would have taken responsibility for the mess up.So unfortunately this instance would complete our business arrangements. But if you just need a quick oil change I’d recommend this place to anyone. Even at their busy time this place can get you in and out within 30 minutes. But me personally, will only return in a pinch.

Todd is awesome, I could not recommend a better person to give your business to. I had a oil change done while out of town on a work trip. The garage I used in Vallejo did not put in a seal while doing the oil change and I woke up the next morning to oil leaking all over my drive. I called Quality Tune-up shops, Todd answered the phone. I explained my situation, he told me to come on in and he’d take care of me. Todd’s version of taking care of me was just that! He had me in and out in 15, drained the new oil, put in a seal, filled it back up, topped it off and didn’t charge me a cent. I could have never imaged an auto shop doing anything for free, Todd is the man and the type of small business owner Tou want to give your money to!

This is now the second time I have had my oil changed at this location. The service is quick, the employees are very kind and willing to always help and more so the atmosphere has always been amazing. I work down the street and its nice knowing I can easily get my car serviced in time to get back on a lunch break.

Great people. Had to make an unplanned visit to get tires inflated. It was a busy day for them and these guys moved vehicles out of service bay to help refill my tires. Didnt even take a dime when I offered.

Great service and very trust worthy. Prices seem high but we live in a totally different economy now. Candybars are no longer .35 cents guys. They are now 1.35, for a freaking candy bar. Brake job per axle 175.00 with new rotors 350.00 per axle. Thats on a basic small SUV. Outstanding Customer service. Lots to do within walking distance while you wait for your car or they will take you home within a 10 mile radius, but flexible. Just cant say enough good about them. They will earn your trust. So I went in today because I thought I had a leak in my car and was hearing a noise under my dash in the car. Being a girl I knew that the air conditioning had condensation and would drip under the car. But I didnt know the window defroster would do the same thing. As always when you hear a noise in your car and have the mechanic drive around with you the car doesnt make that noise. Even though they spent time on my car, they didnt charge me because they didnt find anything. Most mechanics would have. Thank you Quality Tune Up.

This place is top notch!I randomly chose Quality Tune-Up for an oil change about three years ago simply because theyre close to my work and had good reviews. I have been absolutely thrilled with their oil change services, repair services, and customer service!Every time I need to come into the shop theyve happily answered all my questions and, most importantly for me, charge a reasonable price for their services. Even when I want to go into the shop to see what needs to be fixed and why​. Theyre incredibly accommodating​ -- they dont have anything to hide like some other shops out there.Their customer service is far superior to any other car service shop Ive ever gone to. I grew up around cars and helping fix them, these folks are simply in the service of helping their customers, not overcharging​ them. The Quality Tune Up on Douglas Blvd, in Roseville does great work! When I got there I was personally greeted by the district manager. I was getting an oil change and a tire rotation. He was very friendly and because it was not that busy, he invited me into their shop to see what they were doing! I was happily surprised. I saw everything that the technician was doing and he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area and you need an oil change!

This is my second visit and I received excellent service both times. Each time details were explained to me that helped me make good decisions about needed services.This visit, I was short on time. But they were able to change my oil and rotate my tires in about 30 minutes. I really appreciated the extra effort to help me be on time!

The service was fine. The employee insisted my car could only take synthetic oil. Only to find out from my husband, he gets regular oil all the time from another place....I ended up paying about $80 instead of the usual $40 elsewhere. So its my fault for not knowing. I would recommend to know what you need so they dont try to upsell stuff.

My 2012 Chevy Malibu had its check engine light come on and was blinking. I had to have it diagnosed and fixed immediately due to the fact the I need the car the next day for a road trip. Quality Time up was the only place in the area that accepted my warranty and could get me in that day to run the diagnosis. After about 40 min just as quoted they had the problems narrowed down and could have it repaired in about another hour and a half. Their customer service was very professional and they are very friendly. I highly recommend them for any service or tune up.

Whenever, I go to quality tune up I was taken care of for oil change.Had the fan clutch go out because no coolant. Not sure how I ran out of coolant when they say they fill up liquids. $500 to fix and 3 months later go for oil change, they say radiator leak but do not do a test? Want to charge $700, I don’t know what to do?Didn’t take time to explain anything.

Great place to take your vehicle

Ive had 3 recent trips to Quality for miscellaneous items with the cars I own and in every case, the attentiveness and care of the employees for even the smallest detail was outstanding and memorable. They could have easily taken advantage of me and sold me service I didnt need since I had some unusual problems, but all was completed with wonderful professionalism and care for the customer. I have just moved out of town and regret very much that I have to find a new service center that can compete with Quality TuneUp in Roseville.

It can be very intimidating for me to go in and have my vehicle serviced but this place made me feel very comfortable, the service was great and within a good time. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend others to come here also.

Came in to SMOG my truck. Was given over 2 hour wait time to get to my truck but they were done in just over 1.5 hours! Currently they do smog checks tuesday-saturday. Really respectful staff and clean facility! Have complimentary snacks and drinks. Located next to plaza with food and shops you can walk around in the mean time. Definitely got a returning customer!

Ive been going to this shop for quite a while. Theyve only gotten better. I never get talked into extra service, theyre polite and they are now offering coffee, water and snacks.

Needed to have my truck smog check completed before getting my registration. Just pulled in and in no time at all they had it done. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I dont feel that they stand behind their work 100% and they also like to charge for certain things twice. I:E: If something needs to be removed to get to another part they are working on, they charge to put it back in.It is hard to explain, but pay close attention to your bill!
