I haven’t yet gone in to have service done on my tundra. Got an appointment in 2 days. But very informative mechanic. As I’ve had several issues with other local mechanics wasting my time. Time is money. TLH was one of the few mechanic shops open on weekends that don’t price gauge. Got several estimates for a timing belt swap, and all the weekend shops priced me at 800-900. But TLH was very informative and talked me into doing 3 other things while the whole front end is taken apart. I was skeptical at first, but every question I had he had a reasonable answer for. And after a little research online I was able to confirm everything he suggested. And for 900 he will be doing the timing belt, fan bracket, thermostat, and new spark plugs. The owner seems to be very transparent, I mean who likes going to mechanic shop and getting the call several hours later with a laundry list of other things that cost another 1k. I’d much rather get a full scope of what to expect and and just deal with it rather than being surprised by this and that.-James Blevins

Very professional, informative. Got me in on a Sunday within 2 hours of my phone call. Normally when shops know theyre only a handful open they price gouge. Complete opposite experience with Thin, the owner. Easily half the cost I would pay at any shop in the Roseville/ Sacramento area for stud replacement and brake installation and adjustment. He went above and beyond.

Absolutely amazing. So kind and thorough. I came in because of a concerning sound when I would start my car and I left with new knowledge about my car, an oil change, my tire pressure checked, my break fluid and pads checked, and he even did a quick fix on a piece of my front bumper that was hanging off. The crew was very kind as well. Will never go to another shop when I am in Roseville. Only TLH from now on.

Transparent and affordable parts and labor. Great service.I shopped around for quotes on a window regulator replacement from several auto repair shops. Most of them quoted me 120 for the labor, but the cost of parts ranged widely from 170 to over 300 with the total ranging from 300-500 I went online to check the pricing for the part and it goes for 50-60 dollars. I asked the shops if they would be willing to provide me with part number and receipt from the part provider and they all refused. If labor cost is 300, just say so, dont try to tack it onto the parts cost.Anyways, I came here and got it done for 200. I would highly recommend this place.

I had THL perform a pre-purchase inspection on a car I was considering buying. They did an excellent and thorough job, and gave me a comprehensive summary of the vehicle condition from small things to big things. Brakes remaining, oil leak, tire condition, suspension health, alignment, engine health... a great service at a great value.

Very clean shop, fast service. Thinh is a very nice, personable man, seems very knowledgeable and had fair pricing. He even paid for my Uber to get home after dropping off!

This is the first mechanic I have trusted in a very long time! He has saved me money on car repairs and also he has found issues that a previous mechanic “forged” in order for me to go back and do costly repairs! How sad that a person cannot trust leaving a vehicle for even an oil change because of mechanic thieves that disconnect parts in order for you to bring back for repairs that otherwise are unnecessary.

The staff at TLH are honest and very knowledgeable. I brought in my 2012 Hyundai with starter issues and they replaced the starter with one that I purchased from AutoZone. They completed the work quickly and on a Sunday afternoon before we had to work the next day. The mechanics there are former Toyota dealership mechanics, with decades of experience. I will go to them in the future for any repairs we need.

TLH Auto Repair diagnosed the problem with my car over the phone for FREE after I had spent $275 at another shop (5 Star Auto Repair) even though the problem persisted even after they “fixed” it.This mechanic has stellar ratings for a reason. He is very knowledgeable and has incredible ethics. That call earned him a customer the next time I need something. You should call him before you spend your $ elsewhere.

These guys are the one of the best in north California if not THE BEST. They are straight forward and HONEST, they are super efficient and they talk to you and answer whatever questions you have TRUTHFULLY. They will HELP YOU. My favorite auto mechanic! They can service all types of vehicles, including my Camry, Volkswagen GTI, and Chevy Impala. Very reasonable prices and honest workmanship. If you have the time, they’ll let you watch and explain what they’re doing. I love the transparency, which seems to be rare with auto mechanics.They are off Atlantic, but note that their location is tucked away a bit. Just keep your eyes peeled :)

Ive finally found a place to take my vehicles to. The owner took the time to show me exactly what was wrong with my car (bad starter). He even stayed open late so I could drop my car off after hours. He was even able to have it completed the NEXT day. On top of that he installed some new light fixtures that I had been holding on to. He made a customer for life. Above and Beyond Good Service. Best auto repair experience Ive ever had. Car was sputtering, check engine light ON. Figured it couldnt have been my spark plugs as the dealer had just replaced them about 10k miles prior. That was Thinhs first instinct as to the cause of the misfire, and he said he would check them out which requires a decent amount of disassembly hassle for my Honda. Very personable guy and explained everything. Communicated the whole time I was back at work via text including photos of the loosely-installed, burnt out plugs. Replaced all four with brand new OEMs for $150 including labor! Car has never been running smoother. Thinh even texted me a couple hours after I had left to ensure everything was good. Amazing service; definitely will be a repeat customer! Thanks!

Very honest guys, came in thinking I had to get my brakes changed and an axle fixed, they took a look at my car and said all I needed was tire rotation and an oil change, and recommended when I do come in for a brake change, highly recommend them for their honesty and quick service

Dont take your car here.....I took my car for a simple starter replacement after 2 hours of lifting my car up and down on the lift and way to many smoke brakes they told me it was the anti theft keeping me from starting the car and it had to be reset and they couldnt do it so I was charged for a diagnostic and I took it to another shop and all that was wrong was the starter was out like I told them in the first place.....Waisted my time and my money at this place.
