Went in for a brake inspection. They claimed i needed all new rotors, pads and calipers and quoted me $1600. I had gotten a brake inspection the month prior at Mazda, who said my pads were STARTING to run low so i didnt believe Precision. Im glad I trusted my gut- I brought my car to Midas and they said my front calipers, rotors and pads were fine! they took care of me for less than HALF of what precision quoted. not to mention Robert, the manager on duty provided the most condescending and rude customer service I have ever experienced. I felt threatened that they would tamper with my vehicle and they tried to intimidate me. A nightmarish experience as I left in tears- please go elsewhere and protect your wallet.
Repair work was fine, however newly hired GM was flustered, disorganized and underqualified. Bad experience had my truck for over 2 weeks and said I was lucky I didnt recieve a storage fee? How about letting me know when its done and dont lose my number multiple times...bad bad bad
I just needed to make a follow up review. The guys down at Precision are absolute mechanics. I’ve had multiple repairs made of my Fiat 500. Wheel Bearing, Air filter, Alignment, Oil change, spark plugs, and a coolant exchange. My car runs brand new. This place has given me the peace of mind that my used car is in solid running shape. I can’t thank these guys enough for being so TRUSTWORTHY! They’ve done fantastic work on my car! If they can do such great work on my complicated mini machine they can absolutely help you maintain your car! Thanks fellas! I’ll see you on my next due date!
Made online appointment and showed up on time but the store claimed to not have it on their record. Made all kinds of excuses. Had a Groupon coupon for wheel alignment. They finally took me in cashing in my coupon. After examining my car, they said they will only do my alignment if I do additional $2,000 work. Needless to say, I walked away without having the work done and also loose my $79 coupon that they said they cannot refund.Complained to Groupon who refunded the money
Great service, polite customer service but let the guys work with no masks already. Their health is important and they need to breath with all those chemicals. If the company doesnt care about their employees then I wont probably return in the future.
My wife bought a Groupon to have an AC recharge at Precision Tune in Roseville. I called a number of times starting in early July to make an appointment. The phone would ring but no one would answer. After several attempts I was finally able to speak with a representative in mid-July . I was told that the earliest appointment was a month out, so I booked an appointment for the AC recharge and an oil change for 8:00 on August 13th. When I arrived for the appointment on the 13th I was told that they did not have an appointment for me in their system, but I could drop the car off and they would try to get to it later in the day. I showed the attendant the printed copy of the Groupon certificate and he said that he could not accept it and that my wife would have to come in so he can scan the original off of her phone.
This place is the place to go to for all of your car needs. They are very honest and will let you know what is wrong with your vehicle. I was very hesitant to go here because of my past bad experiences with other car shops, but am glad that I did. We worked with Shelby, and he was very honest, helpful and knowledgeable in telling us what was wrong with our car. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a car shop to get their vehicle fix. They will tell you the truth and arent in this business for your money like how other shops are. Not only did we get one car fix (our Acura TL) by them but they actually ended fixing our other vehicle too (Honda Odyssey) I really wish there were more car shop businesses like them because it would make people like me much happier knowing there are actually good people out there. Car broke down in parking lot, guy didnt even help me figure out the exact problem, then looked at my battery and claimed my battery was the issue as i had a bypass cable on it for my trailer hitch when it was infact my shifter cable i found out later that day from my mechanic who drove out from champlin to help me
Precision Tune is my new most favorite place to have my car serviced! On Friday, I took my car in for a 10:00 appointment because the car was making a funny noise. I arrived a bit early. They took the car right in to run the diagnostics. Quickly figured out the problem and fixed it. I am so happy with the people there. It was clear they cared about me and my car. Precision is now my go-to for all car issues and concerns.
Initial Interactions With This Establishment Were Convincing. Shelby Seemed Professional With a Relentless Commitment For Resolving The Mechanical Issue. He Even Conducted a Follow Up Call To Inform Me That Based On My Complaint He Was Certain Of The Issue and Already Ordered Parts and To Ensure I Would Be Able To Make The Scheduled Appointment. Everything Seemed Wonderful Until After I Picked My Vehicle Up Following Their Completion Of The Work. I Began Having Other Issues That Werent an Issue Prior To My Visiting This Repair Shop. Needless To Say I Am Very Disappointed. I Do Not Find Pleasure In Repair Shop Sabotage Instigated When They Discover Your Vehicle Has a Warranty. Because They Will Keep You Coming Back For Repairs Charging Premium Price For Remanufactured Subpar Parts and Questionably Qualified Labor. Listen, I Get It, The Pandemic Has Grossly Affected Businesses But These Entities Must Remain Ethical With a Unassailable Level Of Integrity. I Have No Choice But To Be Honest, So Get It Together and Do Better.... Thanks...

Bought a Groupon for an oil change with free wipers, made an appointment for 2 weeks out, because that’s all they had, and when I showed up they told me it would be an extra $25 dollars which would then be the same price as their synthetic oil change price. What’s the point of offering a Groupon savings then? I’ll go pay full price elsewhere.
They charged me for service that did not do. I had a coupon for a OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION and they did not rotate my tires. I noticed when I got in my car and the wheels with the brake dust were still in the front. The first time i went they said I need brake pads, took my car to Firestone where I have lifetime brake pads, they said brakes are fine. I dont trust the Spring Lake Park Location
Having bought a Groupon for four wheel alignment with front wiper blades at Precision Tune Auto Care I made an appointment for Friday January 25, 2018 at the Roseville location (1329 W Larpenteur AveRoseville, MN 55113 ). One hour after I dropped the car I received a call from the auto shop and was told that they cannot do the alignment without replacing the driver side lower control arm. I was surprised to hear that as first there was no noise coming from the front end that would suggest any issue with bushings, and second I replaced, at the end of the summer, the stabilizer bar bushings and I checked the front end without finding anything that needed to be replaced. I denied the work and went to to the shop to pick up the car. I asked twice if they were sure the control arm needed to be replaced. They said yes and one of the employee ever underlined that on the invoice that they printed it for me in case I would be interested in the future to perform the repair. (The invoice was closed to $600). I went home and checked the front end and as expected there was nothing wrong with it.Based on my recent experience I do not recommend this place, they will lure you in with the Groupon deal and will try to scam you with unnecessary repairs.I am also posting photos of the invoice and driver side lower control arm

I came in for wheel alignment and they noticed my wheel bearings and stuff was bad. Chad help me get a appointment quickly (with in days) so that I could get that fix and they did the alignment the same day. Ill definitely will be going back

I took my car here to get my alignment done and they gave me whole bunch of excuses because they didn’t want to work on. I waited for 2 long hour when I even made appointment for my alignment to be fixed. The manager told me I needed new tires before they can conduct alignment on my car. If I needed new tires I would not go here the first place. All I wanted was to adjust my alignment and they couldn’t get it done even when they have the tools and equipment to do it.

The first 2 appointments I made never happened. On top of the fact they always had to schedule 2 weeks out in advance. The first time I showed up to my appointment, they never put it into the system. So that was a waste of a trip. The second time, I called to reschedule to change the date and my appointment was no where to be found again! The third time I called, I made sure to ask for a name. Shelby made sure my appointment was in the system and was able to get me in that week! Not only was my service amazing, they threw in one free wind shield wiper blade that I needed replaced. I also had a tail light out in the back and they fixed that for $20! Which is nice since I have a German car.

Im not one to write reviews, but these folks deserve it. I bought a groupon, for an oil change and another for head light restoration. They did good work--were completely honest about what to expect, what I could do differently, and how they would only charge me extra if the work met a standard of excellence. They did good work and walked me through everything when they were done.I brought my car in today for a check engine light. They checked it quickly (without charge!) and gave me a realistic picture of my options. When I mentioned I was thinking of replacing the car, Greg sat with me for 20 minutes and talked through all of his knowledge of the vehicles that Ive been considering. He even printed out some examples of cars in the area. I cant say enough good about Greg and Jason (pretty sure that was his name!). They are not only knowledgeable and honest, they are friendly and willing chat through whatever you need. This is my car place now. Thanks, guys!

Walked in and nobody was in front. Waited 15 minutes and still nobody came in the front. There was no bell or any way to let them know I was there, so I called the store. A guy answered and I told him I was in the store but nobody was in the front to help me. The guy just hung up then came to the front. Guy didnt seem like he was interested in me being there and to top it off the alignment machine was down due to mechanical problems. I know that part isnt their fault, but it was the icing on the cake after terrible customer service.
Found this location on Groupon while searching for an oil change. Easy appointment scheduling. When the oil change was complete, Greg, manager, called to let me know my car was ready and informed me of some minor things that needed attention due to service lights were resolved. Great customer service! Willing to look at computer codes and help diagnose and suggest reasonable solutions! I highly recommend!

Had an odd issue with my wheel alignment and the mechanic went out of his way to figure it out and show me the issue.I was at the dealer today trying to get a torque converter fixed, something that is covered under my warranty, but the dealer was trying to push me to purchase a transmission maintenance service, saying that it is something that Dodge would want me to do first as a formality. They quoted a price that seemed high so I called Precision Tune Auto Care and explained the situation and the mechanic on the phone told me if they want me to do that, they should be covering EVERYTHING. It takes integrity to turn down a possible job to let a customer know their rights.

The 1st time I went there I was supposed to have an alignment. I waited 2 hours and asked how long it was going to be until it was done. They hadnt even started on my car. I was very angry, but Julian assured me that I would get a free alignment when I went back. I took my car in for an oil change and he was very helpful and honest that my car needed some major work. I took it back today and they have finished everything and quickly. I am VERY impressed with their great customer service and quickness. I will definitely be taking my car here from now on. My alternator died at the car wash next door, and being from out of country, I was in a vulnerable position with no one to call for help. Miguel, the manager, took full advantage of this, and me. I was quoted $400 to put in a new alternator. $400, for a job Ive discovered more recently from doing it myself, takes 20 minutes. Thankfully, I bought a cell phone with a data plan, and searched with a dying battery and called another repair place two blocks away. They quoted me $250, and Miguel settled on $270 as I already had my car in his shop. What position was I in to say no? I feel I should talk about his employees, they were kind enough to boost my car to get it next door, and were somewhat open about the repair, although you could tell they knew they werent supposed to talk much, and they get paid next to nothing for their work.Best of all, a year and a half later, the bearings in the alternator have failed, conveniently not long after his warranty has expired, so now I have to replace it. Again. I have had exceedingly positive experiences with car repair shops, but this was far from one of them. You can do much better.

Brought my car for a routine oil change. The first individual I spoke with at the desk was very friendly and they were able to get my car in right away. However, I was a bit surprised by the high price for the oil change deal. While waiting for my car to finish, which took an hour (double what I usually have to wait at other places Ive taken my car), another customer returned with their engine smoking because a technician forgot to put the oil cap back on. They were quite upset and I was a bit surprised that something so routine could be forgotten. Then, when they finished my car I drove a block and my engine light came on and the car started jerking every time I put any pressure on the gas pedal. I immediately drove back and spoke with a different individual who was not very friendly. He took my car back to be looked at and returned 10 minutes later telling me everything was good to go now. When I asked what was wrong he grudgingly explained that a connection from the computer to the engine that they had to disconnect to change the filter was not quite connected all the way. In light of the earlier issues with the other customer, I was very unhappy with the lack of precision in the minute details. I will not be returning here.

Very torn because I used to bring my car here all the time without any issues. Make an appointment, get it in, get it fixed, go home... now, its make an appointment for 3-4 days out, bring it in, wait forever (an oil change should NOT take 2 hours), and then eventually get to leave. But if I bring it to the PT by my house Im in at my scheduled time and Im always shocked at how quickly Im done. After driving the car this location said they were 99% sure I needed a new axle and CV boots couldnt get me in for 3 days and I would have to leave the car for the day... The PT by my house got me in right away (because they actually plan time for serious cases or repairs into their schedule) and only took a couple hours to replace my wheel bearings (which is what the issue actually was).
The most knowledgeable mechanic I have ever come across, has a very deep knowledge without even needing to refer to a computer. Repairs are done top notch. Would recommend over and over.

I brought my Escape in for a simple steering alignment and was informed that i needed over 1200.00 worth of repairs. Said the steering knuckle, control arm, ball joint and tie rod all needed replacement. After my initial shock I contacted my normal mechanic who asked me to bring it over to check out. His best mechanic looked it over, replaced a tie rod and did the alignment. He said there was nothing wrong with any of the other items. I will never do business with this place and recommend getting 2nd opinions whenever possible.

I recently stopped in for my routine synthetic oil change and discovered that my rear brakes needed to be replaced. I had known that I would have to address this soon, but I was advised at this appointment that it could be a potential safety issue. While not expecting I would be having major care repairs, needless to say, the financial burden was worrisome.The manager worked with me to provide the best price they could offer and the staff worked after hours to take care of my vehicle, as I sat and waited.I was very impressed by the time and care taken to describe issues with my vehicle. I had visited this location in the past and did not receive as good of service, as this last visit. The manager advised that the location is under new management and it is apparent, as the level of care truly is exemplary.A couple weeks later, no issues and still impressed with the service. I will return for future services!Thank you!
