Car buying is never fun, but it can be easy. Marcus made our recent car buying experience at Orloff Volvo a complete breeze. Total time spent in the dealer was just shy of 2 hours total. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that Marcus valued our time and did everything he could on his end to get us in and out, while still ensuring we had just what we wanted and needed. There was no sales pressure and he was extremely patient as we went back and forth on our end, deciding what was best for us.We loved the fact that most things were done remotely and only the final signing and minor details done on-site (like our trade-in quote). With two kids and busy lives, we are so glad our entire Saturday wasn’t wasted sitting in a dealer.Hopefully we will continue to experience this excellent customer service when we return for regular car service or any issues.If you are looking for a new car, we highly recommend you ask for Marcus when visiting Howard Orloff!!And ask for Alicia when doing your final paperwork! She was amazing and extremely professional. Ensured everything was in order and made signing quick and fast. Test drove a used Audi Q7 on June 30th. I was a little hesitant about putting a deposit on it. The sales rep I was taking with said that even if he wanted to sale it he couldn’t. It had not passed inspection yet, that the earliest he could deliver the vehicle would be Friday. He was off Thursday so I felt confident about Friday. On Friday he said someone put a deposit on Thursday and they would be in by 2pm he would call me by 3 if they did not show up. I called by 3:30 and he said they were running late that he would call me by 5pm. A week later still waiting on a call. I submitted an email on Monday July 5th, expressing my concern about the sales rep but still willing to do business on a different vehicle. Got 3 emails acknowledging they received my email but yet an apology a call or willingness to accept an offer for both vehicles I asked for. No customer service what so ever. Glad I did not invest more time better yet money with this place. Save yourself a headache, go somewhere else.

Best dealership experience ever! Ive been to many dealerships over the years. Nothing compared to the care Brian and Danny provided with helping me choose the car that was the perfect fit for me! And the Sales Manager guy, Greg, encouraged me to spend just a bit more so that I could be covered for any and all circumstances. Ill never go anywhere else!

Will not be returning or recommending this dealership. Called on a Friday To make an appointment with someone to test drive a car on Monday, since it was going to be serviced for the weekend. Arrived at the dealership to find out our sales person we made an appointment with wasn’t even there for some reason. Waited 40 mins for someone else to be available to help us with our appointment. When we asked how much longer it would be, someone came out and told us they JUST sold the car. Would’ve been nice to know before waiting 40 mins and talking to multiple people about the car I was hoping to test drive. While I understand they were busy, we drove far to go there.. and in Chicago traffic. Didn’t seem to matter that we had an appointment. Would’ve been nice for one if one the 3 people we talked to let us know the car was unavailable. Incredibly Unprofessional and disappointing.

Long wait times. Limited availability. I called ahead to confirm that I still had an offer for another oil change and tire rotation on my account, which was confirmed. Was given trouble when picking up my car, whoever was checking me out was rude and dismissive (NOT the mechanic) in regards to this credit I had on my account. Typically the mechanic/advisor discusses any diagnoses after the service. I was handed the paperwork and sent on my way without a chance to speak to the person that worked on my car. Not the type of service youd expect from a fancy dealership.

We travelled to Chicago to buy our son a car because he found the perfect Unicorn with every option he wanted in his preferred color, perfect trim package with very low miles in excellent condition, at a decent price. He was looking for this specific car for a year. He found 2 of them on the internet but both sold the same day they went on the market before he could call about them. I have to admit, I am a huge skeptic, it seemed much to good to be true. We researched everything he said he found, spoke to the salesman, the manger and researched the dealership. Everything checked out. I love the city of Chicago, so my wife and I said we would go see this car. We drove up met the sale team and they were very professional, courteous and welcoming. They were understanding of our long drive, and made us feel very comfortable. The salesman was very prepared. He even came in on his off day to deliver the car to us. We previously discussed with the sales manager that if everything was as it appeared in the pictures that we would be purchasing the car. The car was perfect, everyone could not have been nicer and more professional. The sales manager went out of his way to fix a minor tire problem and get us on our way. The finance manager had everything prepared with our bank on our arrival so things could not have gone smoother. I could not recommend my experience with this group of guys that we dealt with at Howard Orloff Volvo in Chicago any higher; right down to the guys who were operating the car wash when we left. The car looked like it just rolled off the assembly line. Thanks again guys.

Can’t speak for all the sales reps but stay away from Erick CalderonGot an initial quote for a lease from Erick which was $150 higher than an initial quote I got from the Autobarn for the same model car with almost the exact same MSRP. When I told Erick that maybe he made a mistake with the number he quoted me because of the number I got from another dealership he tried to make an excuse that it wasn’t his fault and that his manager only authorized that price and that they wouldn’t be able to come down.Ultimately Erick was trying to rip me off. Again I can’t say that other reps there would try and rip you off but he definitely did.

This dealership is a diamond in a rough. Car buying is usually a headache because of the sly games played by the sales team, and the added hidden expenses when it comes to signing the paperwork. Howard Orloff Volvo Cars is THE TOTAL OPPOSITE. Michael Stevens is the nicest and most genuine car salesman I have ever purchased a car from. From the beginning he never pushed me into buying a car. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the entire transaction. He actively listened to what I was looking for in a car and my budget. At the time of signing paperwork, Alicia Houston, went over each document and answered all questions I had. This was the best car buying experience and I am so happy with my Volvo XC90!UPDATE: Their service department is just as amazing and helpful as their sales department. Scheduled appointment 2 weeks in advance. Got a notification and confirmed with dealership about appointment. I brought my car in for an oil change and to look at possible sunroof leak at 10:45 on newer xc90. Got a call at 3:45 stating the need to hold my car over night to look at vehicle, as they have not even looked at it yet. I understand things happen, but one also has to understand people others have plans and kids to transport. A little sooner notification if problems arise or better management for an oil change to take longer than 4 hours (24 if held over night) is pretty unheard of.

Quality dealership and staff but do NOT buy a used card from them. Their inspection team is the worst and we have had to have a significant number of repairs that a thorough inspection should have caught if they actually cared about their used car inventory. They also sold us a basically worthless warranty. Only go there for new vehicles....and they will show no sympathy once you walk off the dealership floor with car.

I came to Howard Orloff Imports this past Friday to trade in my Jaguar and get a new Range Rover. I made an appointment with Mark Vignaroli. The whole process was the smoothest, quickest, and enjoyable I have ever experienced. Mark was so nice and professional and really took the time to explain differences between models and for us to look at the car we wanted a couple times and drive it around. He made everything easy for us and even gave us some complementary Land Rover merchandise. He even helped to move some things over from my old car into the new one and took the time to drive us around the dealer and out of the parking lot once we were done. I definitely recommend this dealer and sales person to anyone thinking of buying a car. I will be coming back to upgrade in the next couple of years

Such a pleasant buying experience from Howard Orloff. I had gone to other comparable brands + other Volvo dealers around Chicago, and this was by far the best service + experience I had. I worked with Brian in sales and Alicia in Finance to lease my new XC40, and they were both so patient + kind during the whole process. I also sold my 10 year old Jeep to them, and they purchased it for an awesome price (higher than I had been quoted at a Jeep dealership). I will continue to turn to Howard Orloff for my car needs in Chicago!

Never had a more amazing experience buying a car than with the Orloff Land Rover dealership.I was in the market for a range rover Evoque and had been working with another dealership prior to calling Adrien de Fontenay at Orloff Land Rover.I wont name the OTHER dealership in ORLAND PARK 😀but suffice it to say, it was 1980’s sales tactics. A waste of my time and theirs. They wouldn’t budge on price, played games with interest rates, basically tried ever cliche sales tactic in the book.The GOOD THING was, that other dealership lead me to making a call to Orloff Land Rover.Adrien de Fontenay picked up the sales call. They had the exact car I was looking for in Corris Grey. I explained that I was ready to buy and that I was looking for a no bs experience. Let me tell you something, when Adrien assured me he would make the sale as painless as possible and respect my time, he meant it.1. We negotiated the price over the phone with a single phone call. (2K better than the other dealership)2. I had a great credit score and had tentative financing lined up but was fine with Orloff providing financing with a competitive rate. (Again, they topped the other dealership by 3/4 of a point and beat my rate as well).3. I initiated the sale over the phone on the evening of 10/30 and drove away in a Range Rover Evoque 80 minutes after showing up the morning of 10/31.This guy Adrien came in on his day off to close the deal, push the process through and stood by his commitment and his word to making this a no bs sales experience. It meant quite a bit to my wife and I to have Adrien and everyone at Orloff treat us and our time with respect. They all really demonstrated what a first class dealership sales experience and service can look like.Also, Thanks to Tim in finance for the great rate and painless process. Thanks to the dudes that prepped the car and buffed out the microscopic scratches that nobody else would have cared about. :) Thanks to the sales manager for committing to a negotiated price over the phone, and one more thanks to Adrien. Literally ran out of gas 20 feet from the gas station.  Laugh.  I would.  What makes my unfortunate situation so ridiculous... My truck stalled/died blocking the exit ramp for the Kennedy expressway. And to make an already horrible situation even worse, my vehicle requires you to be a Rocket Scientist in order to figure out how to put it in neutral.So I couldnt even push it to the gas pump, let alone try and get my vehicle out of peoples way.  There I was, helpless.  While the good citizens of Chicago took a dump all over me.  Savages.  No mercy for the weak.Enter Howard Orloff & Javier Loredo.My experience with this dealership has always been first rate.  But let me go ahead now and add FIRST CLASS!  Javier recognized me and my hardship and quickly jumped into action.  As he was running across the street towards me, I swear I could see a superhero cape flying on his back.   I was also sitting in a 100-degree car for 20 minutes before he arrived so maybe my mind wasnt right.  I was also having anxiety from all the drivers beeping and swearing at me.  Javier, with his great smile and warm tone, brought me to ease and calmed me down.Rather than trying to figure out how to put the car in neutral, Javier quickly came to the conclusion, that a gas can and gas was the quickest way to resolve the situation.  So Javier watched over my truck AND directed traffic while I went to the gas station.Javier was on his lunch break.  He didnt have to help or even acknowledge me.  We currently live in a time- where we are trying, at all costs, to stay away from each other.  So for Javier to be such a kind and helpful human being to me, really goes to show you what kind of great people they have working at Howard Orloff.Gracias.  I will pay it forward.

Called Customer Service to schedule a service on my 2020 Velar due to a recalled and also for other issues I been having with my SUV, The Customer Rep had a terrible attitude (if you don’t like your job why work on customer service). I needed an appointment as soon a possible but she was to lazy to look for other dates and decided to give me an appointment in 2 weeks! What if my SUV breaks down or something terrible would of happened! I DO NOT RECOMMEND This location! I end up calling Land Rover In Hinsdale and got the right treatment and the best customer service and got set up with an appointment the following day! If you need any service or need to purchase a new vehicle I suggest going to Hinsdale.

I have been a loyal customer to Howard Orloff Volvo for servicing my Volvo S40 since I moved back to Chicago (I have spent far more than my car is even worth to try to keep it alive and avoid monthly car payments for a new car). Despite the fact that they are pretty overpriced, I trusted them and they have always been thorough and timely when it comes to maintenance and repairs for my car. I have consistently had Roger as my service advisor and have had no issues until my past two visits. My check engine light came on mid April, so I scheduled an appointment for April 15. They came back saying the issue was with the fuel pressure sensor, which that alone cost me $430 (before tax). Nine days later the check engine light was back on. I made an appointment with them, but then suffered a death in the family and had to reschedule. When I was able to bring it in on May 1, Roger sent me a quote to replace the actual fuel pump, saying it was falling apart, at the hefty cost of $1,132.64. It seems a bit odd that just after claiming the fuel pressure sensor was the issue, the new one still made the check engine light come on for the fuel pump. Some would think that the issue was never the fuel pressure sensor at all, but a misdiagnosis regarding the actual fuel pump. Roger assured me that both were necessary to replace and that they needed to order some parts so it would be ready Friday, May 3. Friday evening I still had not received an update on my vehicle and I was leaving town for a funeral. I was hoping to have my car back before leaving as to avoid the chaos of daily parking permits on the loaner vehicle while I was out of town, in addition to the taxes and fees they charged per day for the loaner. I had to call them to find out that a part arrived late on Friday, but was assured my car would be ready Monday, May 6. Come Monday evening, after still not receiving an update, I called only to be told that another part came in late that day so that it would not be ready until Tuesday evening. Well, Tuesday evening rolls around and still no update, so I call yet again. Roger assures me that they are running the final tests for their work and that it will be ready before lunch on Wednesday morning. After not receiving any sort of update, I reached out to the service manager and heard back around 1pm. He apologized for the total lack of communication, reassured me that 8 days is far too long to replace a fuel pump, and the newest update was that my car would be ready by 5pm, or I could just pick it up tomorrow morning. I finally received my car back around 5pm, Wednesday, May 8, with the only attempt at amends being waving the taxes and fees for the rental and a measly 10% off of the service. They probably misdiagnosed my car the first time, costing me hundreds of dollars, and wasted over a week of my time with zero communication on their part. I myself will not return to this dealership again--in fact, they have helped me to make the decision to not buy a Volvo in the future in order to avoid the excessive maintenance costs and skimpy service transactions. If you are looking for a Volvo repair service, I suggest going elsewhere to save money and time.

This place is very unprofessional! I had a very bad experience and so did my son. They racial profile you and are super rude!my experience was horrible then my son goes recently without knowing, and right when they saw him they told him that if he had enough money to fix his car! Then they damaged his windshield and of course didn’t want to take accountability for it. My son called the police and even the police said that that was wrong.this is not the first time every Latino or African American goes in there has been racially profiled! The owner Olaf is very unprofessional and shouldn’t even have a business!

I bought an used Audi here about a month ago and I absolutely love it! Colin was an amazing help and the finance department was also very straight forward and incredibly helpful. The entire staff is knowledgeable, and I had a great car buying experience. If new Volvo isnt in your price range they have an excellent certified used inventory. Just moved from Tucson, AZ where my go to for all my V50s maintenance needs had always been the awesome Volvo of Tucson, so the bar had already been set pretty high. Howard Orloff continued that pattern of excellent Volvo service when I brought my car in this morning for its regular service.Even though they were busy, I was processed quickly and the car was taken back in under 10 minutes. I was offered some (solid) coffee right away and proceeded to take a seat in their great waiting room while my car was being worked on.The wifi in the waiting room is fast and I was able to get quite a bit of work done. I know where Ill be bringing in my car for service going forward. 10/10

Bought our first new Volvo and worked with Brad King. I was very impressed by his integrity and honesty. I never felt pressured into the sale, nor did I experience the typical negative sales gimmicks people often expect in new car purchases. I would absolutely recommend visiting Orloff Volvo and definitely ask for Brad King.Recently we needed assistance in acquiring an accessory for our vehicle and Tom in parts was very helpful in locating the part. Great place with friendly staff, beautiful cars and warm atmosphere. Snow was very helpful to our whole process of purchasing our new car. We actually accidentally ran into her after we looked through all the cars by ourselves and werent able to find our previous assistant. Both staff members were very friendly and patient. Dealing with Mike Lotito on our used vehicle purchase was a breath of fresh air. When dealing with Mike, you don’t have to have your guard up against upsells or any other other unnecessary games that some salesmen (from other dealerships) play. He was extremely fair and easy to deal with.We got the best possible price at the best possible rate. Stopped by the dealership today as my new Range Rover was in need of some immediate service. The service team was nice, but clearly they are overwhelmed. I didnt have an appointment (the car started malfunctioning the day before) so took a chance to just stop in at the start of the day. I couldnt get an appointment for a week. Come on. I called Fields and they booked me right away for the next day. My sense is that this is a second tier dealership.

I went in to the dealership to take a look at their used car inventory. I wasnt necessarily planning to make a purchase that day. The salesman that helped me (Brad King) was exceptionally helpful. Didnt push me toward any one car and took plenty of time to answer all my questions. I did end up getting a Volvo and Brad got me to the price and payment I was looking for. Great experience. Ill definitely be a return customer

Ive been going to Howard Orloff since 2014. Kent is my go to service advisor and is exceptionally helpful and makes sure to address any questions you have. The service dept are very efficient and do a great job to get your vehicle back as fast as possible. Additionally the dealership itself is very nice and will shuttle you to the loop or provide a complimentary rental through enterprise for just the cost of tax.

Got my new car from here a couple of months ago, and things could not have been more smooth since then. I was super impressed with the way Corey York and the way he handled himself and did everything possible to accommodate my needs. There is nothing better than making someone feel right at home when they are making a big purchase. The home feeling Howard Orloff gave us is one that I would recommend to everybody. The follow up calls were fantastic too, the fact that they still show they care after the deal is done is very impressive. 5 Stars without a doubt! Great Job Corey and Great Job Howard Orloff!

The check engine light turned on in my Volvo XC90 and I decided to take it into a volvo dealership to get proper service. That was a mistake. They did a compression test and Rodger told me that the only possible solution was to replace the whole engine, quoting me something like $9,000. Rodger said the cylinders were broken and a rod could explode through the hood of my car. When I asked what was the specific cause of the low compression numbers they said that they did not actually spend the time to diagnose which parts were causing the low numbers. They said they were saving me time/money by telling me to replace the whole engine. Then they refused to change my brake pads because they said it wasnt worth it unless I replaced the engine. Then the next day the check engine light wasnt on anymore and I ended up driving the car 300+ miles with no issues, took the car into a different mechanic. Got the spark plugs replaced and a few other things for +/- 500$. The car still hasnt exploded 7k miles later.

Not only did I have one good experience at Howard Orloff Volvo in 2015, but I had two. First, my initial purchase I was helped by James Pittman and Bill Grzesinski who were very patient with me during my first ever car purchase. They were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory. They walked me through the whole process and showed me all of the different options they had.Unfortunately, my first car was totaled in an accident, but luckily the great people at Howard Orloff Volvo were there to help. This time, in addition to James and Bill, Corey York walked me through the great selection at Howard Orloff Volvo. As I was dealing with my car insurance from the accident, Corey was very helpful throughout the way on timing with insurance payments and getting me into a new car. He was very patient, friendly and provided great insight into what I should look for in a car.With both purchases, any initial maintenance I wanted was immediately performed by the great professionals at Howard Orloff Volvo.I would highly suggest checking out Howard Orloff Volvo for your next car purchase and ask for Bill, James or Corey, youll be in great hands.

My limited experience is that the service department staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. I made an appointment, but it was really busy when I got there because of a weather-related spike in customers. They listened, understood, and solved my problem in a timely manner for a very fair price. I couldnt have had a better first experience with my newly acquired Volvo.

I just got screwed by Orloff Volvo in Chicago ... I was the very first customer to respond to a new listing for a 2011 Volvo XC90 on Tuesday Dec 10. Nobody in sales even knew that this car was posted ... Within a day I put a deposit on the car as per the salesmans recommendation, so they could hold it for me, while we had their shop and Volvo mechanic do a thorough inspection. They even put a SOLD sign in the window with my name on it. The salesman also told me that there was no need to enter into a sales agreement yet, because they had to establish the value of the car by running it through their shop. The inspection report came back 2 days later. The written report by their veteran Volvo mechanic revealed that the car needed $13,419.03 worth of repairs. I was still interested, as long as I could buy the car at the right price. Despite having an active deposit on the car, Bill Grzesinski, the General Sales Manager, told my sales guy last night to let me know that the car was sold! I realize that salesman are just messengers and for the most part can only do what their bosses tell them to do, but ... what Bill Grzesinski did was unethical. Run, dont walk from this place!

Ive been getting my Volvo serviced here for 6 years. I appreciate that theyve never tried to push services I dont need, and always alert me to things that are wearing down and their level of urgency. They perform all my regular recommended maintainance around every 7,500 miles, and my car has always worked perfectly on the road, even at 100k+ miles. They even give a discount on services if your car has over 100k miles. Would definitely recommend Howard Orloff Volvo service.

There are plenty of Volvo dealerships outside of the city that will impress and humble you more than Howard Orloff. I have repeatedly been back to get a part fixed on my ‘brand-new’ car, and each and every time no one was able to repair it appropriately. It takes hours to complete your purchase even if you’re not going through financing. Their sales department always welcomes you with deceitful smiles. There’s really nothing humbling or special and I have honestly been served better at a used car dealership. Spare yourself and seek another Volvo Dealership outside of the city. You will be spared agony.11/5/2018: The third time I have called because i have not received my title. I have reached out to finance to see what is going on. VERY SHADY BUSINESS HERE!

Called today because my car wont unlock and the alarm was going off for no reason - I wasnt even in town - and the car said two windows and the trunk were unlocked, which is not how it was left when I parked it 3 days ago. No one had touched the car in over 48 hours, so this is alarming. I literally cant unlock the car. They were rude and put me on hold three times, transferring me to someone new each time so I could start the entire story over each time. Long story short, they wont get me in until December 9th, the day I already have an appointment scheduled for regular maintenance (how convenient for them) - today is November 25th. Thats absolutely outrageous given the situation. Id consider this an emergency. They were unhelpful, rude, and there was no sense of urgency. Hung up the phone and decided its time for a new car that isnt a Volvo.

I recently took my car in for service because there was a huge piece of scrap metal in it from city driving. Lyn in service got my car taken care of right away. I was in and out in a few minutes. Overall Id say that we had a good experience with Howard Orloff Volvo. Shawn and his team were professional, courteous, and very accommodating. They were happy to work with us to find the vehicle that we wanted, with the options we hoped for, at a reasonable price. I have been leasing for the past 15 yrs and decided that I was going to make a purchase this time around and get into a long-term relationship with my car. I worked with Colin over the course of a couple months to figure out exactly what I wanted and the best way to get it. Colin definitely delivered - I know I can be a somewhat difficult customer at times but Colin was patient and thorough - and in the end got me a great deal on my new Volvo. Post-purchase, Colin has continued to be responsive to my questions etc. I expect that my future interactions with Orloff will be just as positive as my initial ones have been!
