After going to this restaurant called Perilla I saw this place with my mom and we decided to grab some soft serve. The taste was delicious. The appearance was cute and pretty. I enjoy the fact that there was variety in the types of toppings you get. The one thing that I was unsure of was the flavors of ice cream they have. I think it was only one flavor. Overall if you just want a soft serve on a hot day. I would recommend here. Just an FYI the cups are small so I dont think there are any big sizes. It was my first time here. I got affogato and grain toppings.
This is a unique place for soft serve ice cream. I decided to blend their 2 favorites. A honey comb with corn flakes toppings. It is delicious. If you’re a huge fan of honey, definitely a must check out. If you’re just trying to cover your ice cream list of places to see in SF, do add this place to the list :)
Small, cozy dessert place. Their ice cream is creamy and has a strong vanilla taste to it. That coupled with the sweet honey makes for a very solid combination. Very simple and classic, worth checking out when in the area. I would like to come back here whenever Im in the area to try out some of their less basic items.
Love the earl gray swirl with Boba. The cereal milk the flavor is pictured below. Also yummy and no nuts in the mixture. Nicely posted allergy warnings telling which things have nuts. Their ice cream is very light and not very sweet. Very refreshing. You get a nice portion for $4.50 and it comes in a little cup with a spoon.
Tried this place a couple times and overall not impressed, although I give credit to the courteous staff. All soft serve ice cream (looks good on picture only): for example, the Original is not much different from the one McDonald sells, but at more than triple the price; the Matcha is a big failure, so bland, the worse Matcha flavor ice cream Id ever tasted. The Coconut Pudding might be the only menu item I would recommend. Its served in a fresh young coconut with the coconut meat still attached. Not too sweet and refreshing on a hot day.
Firstly, the description on Maps is a little misleading - the ice cream here is not sweetened with honeycomb. They serve soft ice cream here, and they are known for the one topped with a bit of honeycomb. It was very, very good! Also note that its clearly not standing room only - there are 4 little tables.
Very similar to Milk Cow in Fremont, except they have matcha ice-cream In addition to the regular. I liked that both ice-cream wasnt too sweet. It was just sweet enough. The matcha didnt have enough matcha flavor compared to other ones Ive had. As for the regular flavor, it was milky enough as the one at Milk Cow. Overall it was good, but not great. If Im in the neighborhood and its hot out, I will definitely stop by again.
Underrated local gem for a simple little soft-serve ice cream treat. Options are limited but that’s the point - it’s a specialty place serving plain/sweet cream ice cream with honey, sprinkles, or a few other flavors. Keep in mind COVID hours are different than what’s listed here! Most days hey close at 7-8pm.
Honey Creme!@ We have given this place a lot of our money, happily. Their drinks are so yummy, dont overlook them. Most people come here for their softserve which is definitely good, but their bubble tea drinks they started serving last year are really great. If youre feeling adventurous the avocado smoothie is unique and satisfying.
My Gosh! We came across Honey Creme this weekend and it is by far our favorite soft serve ice cream place now. The ice cream itself has an amazing flavor that does not taste artificial and sweet. Its rather creamy and has an undertone of honey sweetness. The tea we had as well did not tasted artificial or too sweet.
I wanted to like this place so badly after not having ice cream in a few months but this hojicha soft serve was just terrible. No tea flavor whatsoever, just a bad aftertaste. I mean, I guess it was sweet and cold? The honeycomb was alright. I may come back to try some of their more classic flavors, but this experience was a huge turn off for me. Guess I shouldve known better ordering hojicha ice cream from a place that doesnt specialize in matcha, but oh well. Live and learn.
Friendly family run business with delicious soft serve, not too sweet, and creative toppings. Their boba drinks are great too.
Just vanilla soft serve with toppings. No other options. The soft serve sucks too
Indeed the ice cream is adequate.
Good local place nice branding good design but the ice itself way below average stars purely for the super nice workers
This place is fine. But SF has so much great ice cream and even soft serve, this place doesnt quite compare. That being said, if youre close by, it doesnt hurt to stop by. Im an equal opportunity ice cream eater.
Interesting toppings. All served over the exact same soft-serve ice cream. Portions are small.
Best soft serve in the city! My favorite is the organic cotton candy.
Good ice cream and smoothies. The honey comb is unique and tasty. Highly recommended for good treats and good prices.
Loved itGreat serviceVery tasteYes to happyNo to sadAtmosphere ✔
Ice cream for the instagram crowd. In other words, looks great in photos, but is very unremarkable in flavor. What you should get, however, is the coconut pudding and a bubble tea. Those are both very good here.
We had a honeycomb and an earl grey boba, and both were pretty tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I guess in the end soft serve isnt my preferred ice cream style. Good concept, but I want dense, rich ice cream like at Bi-Rite or Salt & Straw.
A hidden gem for boba slushies. I had the strawberry one and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place!
Soft-serve ice cream just does not reach the same heights as other forms.Nowhere to sit.A bit pricey for soft-serve.True, the coconut is tasty, but in the end, the value for money proportion is out of whack.
Nothing special concept-wise or taste-wise. Soft serve itself tasted quite bland and somewhat fake, like whip cream, not like real milk ice cream.
Ice cream tasted like whip cream (not milk ice cream). Only very small size available.
Its good, a bit pricey though
Not as great as I thought it was going to be, unfortunately. The soft serve was too bland for my liking. Really fun idea though.
The best soft serve ice cream in town! I personally like the dark chocolate and honey. Strongly recommend!!
Really good ice cream will visit again and again.
A bit better than McDonald’s soft serve
Great soft serve ice cream. And their avocado shakes use real avocados in it! So tasty, thick, and amazing!
One of the best places in the Avenues to get fresh honey cream with assortment of toppings wheel of the expresso and honeycomb a top, make it even more fabulous with cotton candy it melts and explodes in your mouth wow keep doing you guys do we love it
My peach milk boba tea was very tasty and all the ice creams looked delicious! I want to go back already.
Ice Cream was nice and creamy and soft and tasted amazing!
The organic true milk soft serve is creamy, soft and not too sweet with a fun selection of toppings available. Its not that Honey Creme is bad, its just a little boring. Ive been here twice and both times, I gave up after a few scoops in because the taste is just a little bland.Ive tried the dark chocolate and popcorn topping and I have to say that the popcorn (really kettle corn) is better. I had half expected the popcorn to be stale, but it wasnt at all!I didnt feel that Honey Creme is worth the price. Unfortunately, I think Ill likely always walk a few blocks to go to Easy Breezy for my dessert craving instead.
Cant really go wrong with the choices here. The cotton candy is a unique one
A nice change good place to pop in with a date.
Lovely service - even better sweet treats!!!...get coffee on top, cotton candy, chocolate, ... basically get everything - it’s all delish
The passionfruit slush was delicious!
Some items can be a bit too sweet (strawberry matcha latte) but overall the quality is pretty good.
Not bad. The honeycomb is a cute and novelty thing to add to your ice cream but I wouldn’t get it again as it was quite waxy.
This is my favorite dessert place to go because the ice cream was amazing, very light and creamy !
Soft serve was just okay, fancy toppings with pretty decorations, way too expensive for what it was
Every time Im in the sunset, this is the place I crave! My regular order is the mixed grain, but I also recommend the honey, or plain if youve never had milk ice cream before. The popcorn, affogato, cotton candy, and honey comb are all beautiful, but mixed grain and honey are sooo good!Their milk ice cream is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. Ask to taste their matcha, but honestly its just not as good as the amazing milk.Service is always fast and friendly. The place is convenient and always kept clean. Also, they have stamp cards! But I wish they used fivestars.Highly recommend!
Tasted a lot like a McDonalds sundae but cost a lot more. I was happy to let my wife finish it.
Base ice cream is great, honey is delicious, wish they had smaller portions
Popular ice cream spot! Tasty and healthy ice cream.
Affogato always my favorite! Highly recommend for coffee lover.
Ice cream is very smooth! Honey is very sweet and organic!
Popcorn on soft-serve, drop mic.
Amazing softserve. Words dont do it justice.
Tasty soft serve with a unique spin.
The ice cream was good but a little pricey. Not somewhere I think I would go to again.
We waited for 20 minutes to get the milk tea. Only one person was working here. The milk tea was okay but not worth the waiting.
Disappointing in a good way.
It was yummy
Amazing
Get the coffee one, its amaaaaaazing
Was okay
