I got a cookiewich. Overall very good! However, next time, I would just get the cookies and ice cream separately. Cookies lost a lot of heat by the time i got to my car down the block and the ice cream was melting. Cookies have a flakey edge and a very warm chewy inside. Might be hard to satisfy those who prefer their harder cookies, since these are mostly soft.

I discovered these about a month ago but did not have the opportunity to try them, finally was back in the city and made the effort to walk here, well worth the effort. So glad I could not get this place out of my mind. If you are in the City, make the effort, you will not be disappointed.

Nobody there when we arrived. Very small shop. Cookies were very good. Taste vary of course. They are ridiculously overpriced but when in Rome. Not sure at this price I would be back but I definitely was not dissapointed.

So I went late at night and there was a line outside the establishment, finally got inside and ordered. The ladies seemed a bit overwhelmed and one of them had an earbud in and wasnt really paying attention to us at the counter.Finally got the cookies and theyre were kinda skinny and my ice cream kinda took over the whole thing. Definitely overpriced.

Our favorite cookie place. My daughter loves these and gets them regularly in NY. Great for snacking while hitting the books. Need to open up a branch near Berkeley. Come on, College Students!

I love getting cookies from here. They remind me of the cookies I used to fight for in middle school. The crusty layer stuffed with enough chocolate chips to satisfy your yearn for affection.

The person who took our order wasnt very friendly, felt like he didnt want to be bothered. Cookies were really good and there was a great selection. Ice cream was good as well.

The guy that works here is very very rude. As I’ve tried to open the door to come inside the guy yelled at me with his unfriendly voice “one customer at a time”!!! By the way there’s no sign posted for the customers to be aware of before even attempting to open the door! And so when I was already inside while I was looking at the menu I asked him if they have a cookie in particular that I was looking for and he rudely response with again unfriendly voice and he said “No! whatever you see on the wall thats all what we have! He has hella attitude he doesn’t know how to do good customer service . I feel sorry for the owner they’re losing customers because of that kind of employee. Anyways so I left the place and did not get anything at all because of a bad customer service.

Awful customer service. Whoever owns this place should spend a day in the store listening to how the employees treat customers. They are rude and unhelpful.

The cookies are delicious, albeit small and overpriced, but the customer service experience ruined the whole thing. The new girl in training was attempting to be nice, but the guy training her was so beyond rude I almost lost my appetite for sweet cookie deliciousness! I know it’s Covid times... all the more reason to be good to your customers who are bringing your business back to life!

Love Insomnia cookies but we went to the one in San Francisco at 1230pm on a Saturday afternoon and the doors were locked. We drove 45 mins for this and was extremely disappointed.

The women named lyla was very rude to us because when we asked her simple questions such as do u have the mnm cookies she rudley replied and said we are about to close and thats it.

Needed to deliver a birthday cookie to an area just outside their delivery zone. When I called to ask who could deliver it, they looked at the location and said they would have their person deliver even though outside their designated route! I was so grateful that they made that effort for me and I was able to send my daughter n law her favorite cookie. Fabulous customer service and the cookies are always super yummy and very reasonably priced

My girl and I went late night and GOLLY!!! The two young females literally just stared at us the entire time we were ordering. Cookies were delicious, its just them two. If you guys are reading this... dont stare at the customer.

Solution for Late night sweet craving in SF. I go here most of the time after 11 to get some cookies and walk in pier. Triple Chocolate cookie and Brownie with Vanilla ice cream is what I always buy.

Cookies were good. Too rich for me, but my family really enjoyed them. Only issue was customer service; Oscar, was quite rude with us. Yelled at us saying he could only have 1-2 people at a time in the shop, which we had no problem with due to COVID, but he didnt have to say it in such a rude and loud tone. Could have been something along the lines of Sorry guys, due to COVID, I am only allowed to have 1 person in here at a time if you guys dont mind waiting outside. Informed us that the chocolate chunk cookies were going to be a 10 minute wait and when we said we would wait for them he shook his head in annoyance it seemed like. A gentleman who walked in after us was greeted in a much friendlier tone, dont know why we didnt receive that same energy from him.

Cookies were okay, service was a expected in city (they acted bothered we were there)

Awesome place for people with sweet tooth to grab a dessert after dinner, show, bar you wont be disappointed. Open till wee hours of morning 3 a.m., theres no excuse to stop by. Do try the custom ice cream sandwich or half a dozen of freshly baked straight from over into your corrugated box. And dont forget the milk. What are you waiting for go now!

I’ve only been a few times but I always enjoy the cookies. They’re rather large, so you can usually save some for later. They’re always hot and fresh, which makes them all the more delicious. Personally really like them.

Wow! Well to say the least im actually shocked Ive never heard of this place before in my life. They have WAAAAY better cookie selections and ice cream then c.r.e.a.m number one. #2 the staff was very professional and polite. Especially the man working tonight he was super cool and had no problems answering any questions I had since it was my first time in. The establishment is really clean which is a major p l us since its covid right now. Best part about it all is that they are open late until one a.m! I suggest you order online if I were you during the pandemic and curfew going on. The actually arent accepting cash right now due to the pandemic which in my eyes is actually really better because who wants to touch a bunch of dirty money. Cookies were really fresh ice cream is definitely 👍 delish

OMG such wonderful cookies! Normally I am a stickler for my fave Pacific Cookie Company from Santa Cruz, but I found their competitor. I ordered the mint chocolate chip, double chocolate, peanut butter, sugar, and chocolate chip. They were perfect!! Soft and melty and absolutely delicious!

Sadly, they arent taking COVID precautions seriously. The customers before us had their masks off indoors (in such a tiny shop) for almost 5 minutes. They were eating at the counter while they waited for the rest of their order to be packaged.When we asked the employees about it, they just shrugged it off.

I LOVE insomnia cookies!! From the east coast where i indulged their deluxe cookies and 12 cookie boxes, to here in California. They taste the same!!Always warm and gooey, and baked to the right temperature. These cookies are a dream. You wont be upset you bought them!I recently bought 12 cookies for a birthday at work and they were a hit! Someone came in the next day saying theyre still thinking about them haha.
