Excellent ice cream and experience but they only have one person at the moment, I hope they can find more staff, so they can help clients quicker. I can’t wait to go back there to try some new flavors. We had the “Wake me up”and the “Mai Thai” and they were delicious.

An entirely new way to make ice cream! Its also entertaining to watch them make yours (or others). They have great flavors and numerous toppings-you cant really go wrong.

Great ice cream! They make the rolled ice cream in front of you which is really cool and there are a lot of flavors to choose from. You can also go crazy with the toppings and add as many as you want. Its tasty but its certainly not cheap for ice cream at $12 a bowl

Not just the ice cream but the shake was also really good. I tried the Nutella and banana shake - super thick and creamy. So delicious that I gulped it down in just a few minutes!

This is my favorite spot to go to whenever im in the city! I love how they call you so you can see when they are making your ice cream, and the toppings are unlimited so I was able to get more toppings once I finished the top layerThey also have so many flavors, I cant wait to try something different every time I go!

If you are in the San Francisco area, you need to try icicles. After you pick from the menu, they call your name and make the ice cream right in front of you. The nice thing about having rolled ice cream from this place is that the ice cream is cold and stays cold without melting fast.

Price (4/5)reasonable price like other icecream shop.Taste (4/5)*Thai tea ice cream - taste like Thai milk tea. It was interesting to watching how he was making it. I could find any special thing in roll icecream compare with other ice cream but it was fun and still tasty. I liked their unlimited topping. I was so sad my cup was too small to get more topping. There were many kind of toppling and they were good.Service (4/5)They were nice but not that friendly.Interior (3/5)Few tables and not nice Interior

Horrible service and long wait time. Takes a really long time to get what you ordered. I Had to wait 15 minutes for the tea I ordered and when I first walked in I was waiting for 5 minutes to order because no one was behind the register. The people making ice cream just ignored me and don’t offer to take my order.

They have vegan options! There are several non-dairy versions, at least some made with coconut milk.I got one with coconut milk, banana, and almond rolled ice cream topped with banana, mochi, almonds, Oreos, and coconut flakes (see menu photo attached to my review). Everything was delicious and it didnt take too long because there wasnt a line when we arrived. I would imagine there would be a wait otherwise as everything is made to order.Watching your ice cream being created from scratch is definitely a worthwhile experience, and the existence of vegan options is alone worth praise.

Cozy and great taste. Long wait but worth it. They provide UberEats and Doordash. They take cards. They scored 92 for Food Safety as of May 1 2019 which is Good. Its right next to the parking structure where I parked my car. Ice cream is a bit pricy but its okay for the price of location.

Very delicious home made ice cream that arrives in an interesting shape and style and is being prepared in front of your eyes. It would have got more stars if the price was lower (9.25$ for a bowl) or if there were sizes to choose.

With so many amazing ice cream spots in SF, I figured Icicles might be more of a novelty, but I ended up walking by and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, the ice cream was actually delicious, really good bases and then they have an assortment of mix in options and unlimited toppings once the mixtures are done and rolled. The potential combos are nearly endless. Not sure I would go out of my way to come by here, but if youre in SoMa and want something sweet, you wont be disappointed.

What a cool place, no pun intended. The method is so interesting. Its like pouring cream in your freezer and scraping it up, not by you but some super talented chef. The way they mix in things like fruit and other things is very creative and surprising. Vegan friendly too.

This place is the best, i have no clue how they do what they do...but DUDE you have to give them a try. $9 each is not too bad for the product you get, or their time and effort, and the great service add it all up= priceless. However i f you are cheap as i am they will spit into 2 cups = 2 portion. Now thats a flippin deal

Okay so $10 for ice cream is kind of a lot, but it is downtown San Francisco and, more importantly, its absolutely freaking delicious. Now I consider myself a bit of an ice cream expert, my qualification? I love ice cream. Its a vessel for delicious bits and pieces of goodness and drizzled toppings. This is pure, delicious, smooth, creamy base (sorbet is an option too, but ice cream) that comes in many combinations to help you create something fantastic. We got the all fudged up. Then, there is a then, you get to enjoy watching them add the basic ingredients and freeze up your ice cream rolls. Its a good amount that my husband and I split. Finally you get to add from an abundance of toppings. Take advantage of that. We added toasted marshmallows, whip cream as well as Nutella, white chocolate, and caramel drizzles. This is in my top three ice cream places. Smitten is delicious, amazing, but it lacks what I love with my ice cream which is bits providing a change in texture and added flavor. Treat yoself!

What can I say? SF first Icicles outpost has opened in a low-key quiet fashion. Theyve the same offering as their other locations, but this shop has a new flavor. And that number is #14 Ferrarii. Think Ferrarii Rocher the gold foil chocolate covered with almond bits. Young talented staff will get you going with minimal wait time as there are seven freezing pans each assign to a worker. You can actually watch them make your order through glass sanitation safety glass, a standard procedure these days. Unlimited toppings with additional five to top off on your own. Seating is limited to nine mostly a corner couch and two folding chairs. Soft opening is Sept 5th to 24th with operation hours of 5-10pm. For those undecided, you can go for the secret menu, or asked store manager Michael to make it for you. Youll be glad you came. My friend Cherylynn N made the trip with Tater Tot. She has FTT and picture on Y*lp to prove it. Way to go Cherylynn!

Only complain is that their non dairy selection is very poor. Also when you go in groups, theres a high chance you wont be getting all your orders around the same time. Youll get an order or two, then some people who were behind you in line will get theirs, and then the rest of your groups will be made. Bit of poor organization, but I suppose not a huge issue.
