I absolutely love this place and always stop by if I am in the Mission. They have a really wide selection of gelato and sorbet flavors. All the flavors I have tried are delicious. My personal favorites are the yogurt gelato and lemon sorbet. The staff are also super friendly.
They have really great tasting flavors. Parking here is scarce so youre lucky if you find one near by. They have so many options to choose from. The crepes are super good and they fill them up. They have smoothies and everything is so fresh. I personally recommend getting the 1/2 pint because you get 6 different scoops of ice cream and you get to take it home. I also purchase cones separately and it comes out to be a lot more enjoyable. Every flavor tastes just like its description and I recommend every single one.
Amazing place. Even though my friend and I took a while to decide on what to get, they were patient. Definitely worth the trip.
Awesome gelato shop in the Mission District. They have quite a few offerings with interesting flavors. Im lactose intolerant, so it was cool to see that they had a wide array of non-dairy options.Pictured is the dragon fruit sorbet. It was unbelievably purple--made with all natural ingredients. No food coloring added!
Best authentic gelato in San Francisco. The owner came all the way from Italy to bring us authentic Italian gelato, flavors change seasonally, imaginative combinations, reasonable prices
El mejor, like Mitchells but for gelato and sorbetto.
Really good ice cream. Friendly staff and good location
Was really good and staff are the best. Definitely will go again
Not a true Italian gelato due to the very high sweetness of flavours, but then again its hard to expect anything else in America
To be hones best spot to grab euro like desert in the Mission, you could not find better place in little Italy. Ice cream is the best - light, not too sweet with variety of tastes from classic to edgy ones. Unlike most of other ice cream places where they go big on heavy cream and shugar here ice cream is light refteshing and balanced in taste. Other of my favorite is crapes - dark chocholate and orange zest is must try !!! Prices are affordable, displayed with tax included !!! Its institution !!!
Great quality and selection. But the paper straw for the smoothies are way too narrow.
My most favorite gelato here is Amaretto which, that I know of, cannot be had anywhere else! And make sure to ask for the little crispy topping that goes with it! Next I love the lemon sorbet. This place is the only gelato/ice cream store I go to. Lucky me. It’s in my neighborhood!!
Great spot i love the sundaes. I mostly get the kilos to go because of the scoop selection
Better than Michelles ice cream and not as crowded! We love this place and staff were super friendly!
I was 😡 with how they treated me, because of my skin Color they figured I did not speak Spanish and helped a Customer who was standing behind me while I have been patiently waiting for SERVICE
Awesome treats at a great price my favorite little ice cream shop
Good variety, but slow service.
Delicious and great service. Definitely recommended
Hidden gem in the mission. Excellent gelato and sorbet at great prices
Unique and delicious flavors. Trust me, youll see flavors here like never before. Vegan options/ gluten free. I recommend it to any ice cream fanatic.
Amazing spot! We had a crepe and milkshake which were superb. Great prices, friendly staff. This will be a regular spot for us now.
Very friendly server! Had a delicious crepe filled with orange zest and dark chocolate, topped with white chocolate shavings and gelato. A great place to go for dessert in the evening.
Delicious gelato!!! Ordered from DoorDash I got the coffee crunch !! The best it’s so creamy and decadent!!!
So tasty and delicious 😋 small portions 🤥
Execelent ice cream! One of the best in San Francisco!
Wonderful Gelato and Crêpe place in the Mission District! My friend and I were stuck in the city getting the brakes checked on our van and the wonderful staff at La Copa Loca Gelato made our wait so much more enjoyable! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. I highly recommend you check it out!
😋
I love this place. So many amazing flavorsr. Open til 10pm. If onlt the cashier wasnt so rude.
So tasty, huge variety of vegan flavors! Reccomend vanilla soy gelato + passion fruit!
Yum! You cant go wrong with any of the ice creams here! My new favorite is the secret breakfast and the peanut butter fudge ripple! Some of the flavors sounds strange but end up tasting amazing!
Se siete a San Francisco e vi manca un buon gelato Italiano ma con dei gusti molto particolari, andate da Copa Loca e provate il mango e gli altri frutti tropicali. We were just in town for the week visiting from Italy and tried Mauros again. Its always fun to try new flavors you just cant find in Italy. Well done and quite original.
Really good ice cream
This place has THEEEE best Gelato! Milkshakes are top of the line and everything is a pretty average price. Locals go here regularly, heck Im there at least once a week because everything is so good and their berry crepes are yummmm!
I found hair on my ice cream twice
First time here and everyone is polite and attentive! Was already getting helped but two other staff asked if I needed help with order. Many flavor options and seats~ thanks
Every flavor was perfect...must go there, and try their home made ice cream. Absolutely unique selection.
This is really my Mission secret favorite place that has a gourmet gelato lots flavores choices. You can pick up a half kilo for under $9.
I ordered the seasonal/special flavors. Guess what, dragon fruit sorbet! How exotic is that? And the rum and raisin is definitely kid friendly! What a gem this place is!
Excellent cremy gelatos and refreshing sorbet. They have both traditional and unique flavors.
Best Gelato i have ever had!
After having dinner nearby, my friends and I wandered to La Copa Loca for some dessert. We came in about 15 minutes before closing and there was one person working behind the counter. She was really impatient with us because we werent making our minds fast enough and Im sure she wanted to close up shop.Anyways, La Copa Loca offers a lot of different gelatos and sorbets. I tried the white chocolate mint, dragon fruit, and pineapple. I really liked the dragon fruit sorbet, but the sample that I tried was really chunky. I ended up getting a single scoop of pineapple sorbet in a sugar cone because the sample I tried was smoother. The pineapple sorbet had a light pineapple flavor and not overly sweet. For the most part, my sorbet was smooth, but there were some big icy chunks. When I paid for the desserts my friends and I got, the receipt machine ran out of paper, which made the worker helping me out even more impatient. When she finally figured out how to reload the receipt paper correctly, there was no line for me to sign for my credit card and she just told me to sign somewhere on the receipt. I thought that was unprofessional in my opinion and her friends standing around, waiting for her to get off of work didnt help either.
Good but slightly over hyped. The server was nice. Unique ice cream flavors but not too many options if youre picky might be hard to find something you like.
Nice and relaxing place to hang out with friends for a while! Variety of favors and delicious!!
I love their kilos of gelato and ice cream they have interesting and exciting taste flavors
Nice selection of flavors. Almost more Mexican than Italian, which is not surprising given its location. The gelato itself tastes a little bland to me. Its fine. Ive just had better.
Delicious amaretto, chocolate, pistachios and so much more... Small local and delicious
WAY overpriced for “gelato” that simply tastes like ice-cream..
They have a great selection of flavors; my favorite by far is the guanábana(chirimoya, sour sop or custard frut)
You just have to stop by. Its Gelato at its best. Its my wifes favorite so it gets five stars.
Great ice cream, better peices than birite and the ice cream is just as good
I really loved this place. The staff was sociable and attentive. The place has a great atmosphere.
Always so nice when I go and grab icecream
Staff is very friendly and the gelato is hella delicious! Highly recommend.
Pretty good gelato, nice selection of flavors. The banana gelato was better than the espresso—although the espresso just wasnt very coffee-flavored, the banana tasted very much like banana.
Amazing local Gelato shop with such a wide arrange of flavors! Fantastic flavor and you cam try before you order. Very amazing tucked away spot. Would definitely recommend to any Gelato lovers out there!
Delicious gelato and sorbet in lots of flavors, including Latin American fruits like mamey and lucuma.
This is the best gelato place in SF, hands down. I used to live 3 blocks away and could not resist going there every day after work.
I love fruit flavored ice creams and they have a nice selection of original flavors that are harder to find elsewhere such as soursop, kiwi or dragon fruit. Also they have crepes!
Great customer service and many delicious flavors 😋
Ive only had the chance to come here once or twice but I can easily say they have my favorite ice cream/gelato in the entire bay area.
Great selection of sorbet and gelato flavors, and the two flavors I had tasted reasonably fresh. Lots of combo menu options (e.g. sundaes). Shop had no complaints about me asking for several samples. The wait was about 6-7ish minutes on a late Wednesday night, since there was only one employee to take and make orders.
Amazing sorbets! My favorite is Lucuma, it tastes like pumpkin and cinnamon but its actually a fruit! Just perfect, never had anything like it! I wish they would promote this flavor more because it really was an amazying culinary experience
My favorite menu options are the Dragon Fruit Milkshake,Orange/Carrot juice, Crapes, and the Warm Gelato Sandwich. They also have many dairy free and gluten free options.
Small ice-cream shop at the corner of Capp&22d. Delicious variety of flavors, I like this place
They have unique flavors, Friendly service in spite of the crowds. A true institution!
My favorite hazelnut gelato in town. They also have awesome Mexican vanilla and experiment with great flavors like goat cheese and fig, or bourbon butter pecan. Other places might get all the hype and the long lines, but this is a serious gelato gem in the Mission that I would pick over a lot of the other big names!
Blois orange and Black Cherry sorbet ♥️
This tiny, hole-in-the-wall gelato spot is a must-go if you are in the Mission - especially on a warm day. The bevy of flavors means you could spend all day sampling – their rotating menu is longer than most restaurants wine list – but do yourself a favor and just keep coming back to work your way through the seasonal fruit sorbets and rich gelatos. I had the honey wildflower and it was unbelievable. They also have crepes, espressos, smoothies, etc.
We were at urban putt, and was looking for ice cream n nearby.. good find.. they had a lot of gelato flavors and I tried lucuma gelato, which was a Peruvian fruit ..Good discovery n perfect for sunny weather
Came here on a whim while walking past, loved it! Unique flavors and reasonably priced!
Great gelato, make sure to try the tamarind sorbet its amazing
Ive been looking for a place with Affogato, they have two different versions here. I always go for the simple kind, only$ 3.00.
The best real, Italian gelato I have had in SF. Not all flavours are perfect, but most are quite good and it is made with good ingredients in the traditional way
I tried the horchata and the dragonfruit. Both were really delicious. They had a lot of decent other flavors I was able to try and would definitely go back.
Best french ice cream and there is crepas
Love love this pace. Great flavors, people are nice.
Ice Cream great. Parking sucks. Little stools are not stable liability falling off .
The spaghetti ice cream was good, but the crepe was very strong, due to it being made with normal chocolate sauce instead of nutella
Doesnt look like much from the outside, but they have a nice selection of unique ice cream flavors.
The best ice cream in the world
Gelato style ice cream. Not so creamy, but the tiramisú was ok.
Without doubt I have had much better gelato almost everywhere I tried.I also noticed that when they were making crepes they took out crepes that were prepared in advanced and heating them instead of making from scratch
I love the Mexican vanilla😍
Really good place many flavors to choose from
They should let the customers use the bathroom
Great Gelato, service and pints to go
This tiny little shop serves a very nice selection of gelato. Flavors can range from the fruity, the traditional, and the interesting. Friendly staff willing to let you have those little tastes of the flavors to let you make the best and informed decision for gelato selection.I had a coffee flavor which had just the right amount of coffee flavor for me. The lychee was good, too.
Love this place! The owners are beautiful and they have beautiful children!
Amazing gelato selection, exotic flavors, really friendly staff, prices not in the stratosphere.
Delicious! I tried Lemon, Passion fruit, and Mango and they were all awesome! I didnt expect much going in but left very satisfied!
We had the Limon, Green Apple, Chocolate and, they were all great, but my favorite was the Limon.
