Jessi is the best and the rest of the team are awesome! I never thought I would be able to get the car I wanted during the pandemic&shortage but they were able to made it and sent it to me earlier than expected. The financing process was smooth and super quick. Any time I have issues or questions about my car Jessi explains it to me in a way I can understand. Because I’m buying the car outstate far away, she sent videos to show me the car and explained the car’s current status so I could see the car and knew all the details. I really appreciate the nice job she had done! She needs a promotion expeditiously! I would definitely recommend Jessi and this dealership to friends!

Im 69 and have purchased many cars in my life. This was one of the best experiences I have had. This was not a simple deal. My wife and I live in Illinois, and hate driving the tollway. I only wanted to make one trip and didnt want to waste my time. I cannot say enough good things about sales associate Aidan. He made multiple detailed calls, answering all questions and giving us information. He even came in on his day off to take photos of the car and send them to us before we came. The car was exactly as described by Aidan. Thanks again Aidan for your old school work ethic. Manager Mike was also great, worked with me on a fair trade in price for my vehicle. Top of the line dealership.

Bought a used 2013 Camry from Andrew Toyota last month with the defective torque converter flex lockup shudder problem originally identified by T-SB-0034-14, superceded by T-SB-0312-17. This widespread trans problem is impossible to miss in these cars between 1200-1600 RPMs in fifth gear unless someone uses a transmission additive that temporarily hides the issue. We didnt experience the defect during the brief vehicle test drive. It manifested several days after purchase (and a couple hundred miles driven).The original owner failed to address the problem under extended warranty. So Andrew Toyota stepped up and lobbied Toyota who picked up the $2900 repair under a previous warranty program. Thanks to all for making this right!

The long and short is dont buy a used car here. And if youre getting service done save yourself some money and go somewhere else.Bought a used car as is was told over and over again if right after the car is purchased bring it in with in 2 weeks and theyd take care of it. After filling up the gas tank once it was clear the gas gauge was not fully functional and driver side door didnt unlock frequently. This information was not disclosed at the time of selling. Brought the car in to get it looked at within the two week window and was told there were no issues. After leaving and learning how to duplicate the issues and getting pictures, was told it was going to be an additional $900+ to fix. The sales team said the best they could do was give me $200 for the issues. I called around to other dealerships and the prices they quoted were in the $700 range. Since they already looked at the car and the price difference AFTER the sales teams $200 offer made the prices equal I had Andrew do the work...After Andrew got done with the work other door locks began malfunctioning.

Most recently I had a nail in my tire and they were able to fit me in quickly. Not only were they able to fix it at a reasonable cost, their shuttle service took me home and brought me back to pick it up. When I picked up my car it had been washed, even though my bill was small and the service minor.

Dont expect them to turn off the service required light unless youre actually paying them for aservice. Apparently my definition of service rendered is not money and goods exchanged. I just got a multi-point inspection and they left the service light on. Unfortunately it was not noticed till driving away, Unfortunately I had to turn around and go back to the dealership! No courtesy at all from the service desk provider, who was a real jerk about it.

I was frustrated 2 weeks ago when trying to purchase a used Corolla at Andrew. First off I do realize the used car market is crazy right now.However apparently Andrew sells (lists) cars that havent been inspected. So customers make efforts and spend time to buy cars that may never actually be available for purchase.I guess I dont run my business where I sell things that cant be purchased. To me that seems like it wastes my time and also misleads customers.The employees were nice and helpful. But if hours of my time were wasted, thats quite frustrating to me.I would suggest a potential customer avoid Andrew and try to purchase cars elsewhere. Time is too valuable to waste on something you may not be able to buy anyways.Update 9/7/21:Andrew Toyota responded to this post by saying I should contact them to discuss the situation. So I did. I left a few messages and I never heard back. Apparently they are just trying to save face publicly by saying they care when they really dont. Whatever the situation is, Im just going to take my business elsewhere in the future.

Unacceptable service!Was advised of the cost to repair the brake line in our Prius. $500We acknowledged and advised to repair.When we came to pick up our vehicle the price on bill was $1000.We were never advised nor agreed to this additional work or part that was replaced.This is unacceptable .To hold customers responsible for work done that was not agreed upon, nor advised of cost is unconscionable.Please consider alternatives for your car repair.

Great service - always prompt and courteous. They are also quick to address any issues with their service: the last time I stopped in they didnt install the oil drain seal properly - causing oil to leak from the engine. They saw me right away the next day and fixed it promptly without questions.

We recently bought a RAV 4 from Andrew (one of many cars we have purchased there). As always, we were treated like royalty. From the time we walked in the front door, everyone was friendly, helpful, and sincere. I never have gotten that feeling that we all know about when you walk into a car dealership (you know, like you have to watch your wallet). I believe this starts from the top, as Andy Schlesinger is just a genuinely great person. We had Marc Brandofina take care of us and he treated us like family. We also met with Theresa in Financing and she was by far the friendliest money person I have ever met. Overall, we walked out feeling great about our new car. We have a couple more cars to replace in the near future and we will definitely be back to talk to Andrew Toyota.

I went here in August 2020 to buy a red Toyota Corolla that I saw online. It was a good deal for a car with such low mileage. When I got there I was told that I couldnt take it for a test drive because they were fixing it. The salesman, Joe, and I negotiated an even slightly lower sales price for the car, and I put down a non refundable deposit on the car. In exchange, Joe promised that they would hold the car for me and not sell it to anyone else. I had an appointment to come back 2 days later to buy the car because thats the soonest I could come back due to my work schedule. I get there, and Joe told me that he couldnt sell it to me because there was something wrong with it. He showed me another, newer, and more expensive Toyota Corolla that they had. I had to either buy something else, or walk away and let them keep the non refundable deposit that I put down. This newer Toyota Corolla was $3,000 more and they would not budge one penny on the purchase price. When I sat down with the finance manager he told me that they had sold the red Toyota Corolla that I put the deposit on to someone else. I was furious and he didnt care. I had to buy another car because my 2001 Honda Civic was going to die, and I didnt want to walk away from the deposit I put down. The finance manager then sold me a plan that included gap insurance and free oil changes for 3 years for a slightly higher monthly payment. I agreed to the bronze plan that he sold me and have paid extra for it on my monthly payment ever since. I have gone there for 3 oil changes now and every time the service people Lina and Jarvis give me an attitude and argue with me and mock me, saying that I dont need my oil changed and that I can go 10,000 miles between oil changes. One time they wouldnt agree to change the oil until I was literally screaming at them. Please, do not go here to buy a car or get any type of service on it. I dread going here every time and always leave infuriated.

I went in for an oil change. They suggested a new cabin and engine air filter. The service manual recommends changing these filters every 30,000 miles. My records noted I changed these filters in July 2020. No need to change filters after 12,000 miles. Please do not recommend services that are not needed.

Went there to get my vehicle looked at as I thought the breaks needed to be replaced.They told me that breaks were fine, its nice that they didnt need to be replaced, but there were other things that needed fixing.It was over or around $200 for each fluid to be replaced, which is over priced compared to what Ive seen online, to other shops (I called to compare), and asked friends who work on cars.I decided to get the other work (and fluids) done elsewhere but a seal needed to be fixed.Get the bill for fixing a seal and there is an extra $50 charge because a cabin filter cap was broken.I just got the oil changed not even 2 months ago - I do part time delivery work so I need a lot of oil changes.It was not broken. I watched the last person who changed the oil take it off and put it back on while checking the filter.Andrew Toyota broke it and decided to bill me for it.Work that was done was proper, car works fine, but for pricing and integrity I would go...anywhere else.

HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE, OVERLY PUSHY.First let me start by saying that I totally understand that car salespeople need some level of assertiveness in order to close deals. HOWEVER, five salespeople invading personal space and sneering at a potential buyer will not get the job done.I went in already financed through my bank to purchase a used Audi on their lot. They made every attempt and ploy to get me to use their in-house financing. Mind you my credit is prime and my interest rate is super low already. I declined the offer. I wanted a swift transaction but was quickly run off when multiple sales guys and a “finance manager”came over with the same tune: “use us or else”. No thanks Andrew Toyota. Please use a better approach. Sheesh.

Terrible customer service. Replace two tires and had $3000 of work done at Toyota. Two days later the tire blows and Toyota let’s me know they unless I can prove it was there fault they wouldn’t help at all. All we asked was what they could do to help and they were immediately defensive and wanting to avoid any responsibility. Very disappointing. Classic toyota in gurnee I’l felt so bad and was very helpful trying to get us back on the road.

UNPRECEDENTED TIMESI was in need of a Toyota Truck and had hoped to buy it from Andrew Toyota.Unfortunately, the issue with the computer chips and inventory means things are quite different these days. However, that doesn’t mean one can’t find a good deal by doing some research.Andrew was not able to work with me, which was disappointing.My situation is different, in that I live in Milwaukee, but I’ve also been commuting out of town to take care of an elderly parent. That gave me the opportunity to check out another Toyota dealership, which happens to part of a dealer group in Western New York.That said, I’m a different kind of customer for an auto dealer, as I don’t typically trade-in my old cars at a dealership, but instead sell them at Carmax - a quick and easy way to get way more for your car - and it’s also less complicated than muddying up any deal by believing in the dealer’s compliments of how wonderful your used car looks. In the end, it’s how much you have to pay.Also different because I pay cash, so there is no revenue to be made from me as part of dealer financing.Then, there are the issues of knowing what the car company’s customer incentive plans look like, instead of having to pry that information out of a dealer. The good dealers will tell you up front and not hold it back.I go into a dealership with the knowledge that any added features to the car at the dealership are gouged.One of the best examples of this is on trim items, such as having a decal on the back of the truck that says “Tacoma” over the plain painted tailgate. Simply having something like that through the dealer without negotiating, will cost you more than $100 for a vinyl decal and another hundred dollars to just affix it to the back of the truck!“Dealer preparation” means washing the truck.Those and other charges rack up, and most people don’t realize that they are completely unnecessary - and you don’t have to pay for them.Call me crazy, but I won’t spend literally hundreds of dollars to wash a brand new car. Frankly it’s hard for any dealer to look you straight in the eye and tell you dealer prep includes anything more than just that. In many cases, the car is also already completely full of gas and it is noted on the for sale sticker.The point is, a car dealership is there to make money, and as much of it as possible from you.The interesting thing is when I go in there and state the knowledge and the rationale for paying less, there are two types of dealers.One, is a dealer that refuses to negotiate on a car because they would much rather deal with someone who is ignorant of all of the above things and can be gouged. They blame the current “shortage”The other is a dealer that looks at you as an educated consumer, and knows that they can make a fair amount of money, but that you are also not interested and a long protracted negotiation over things any dealer can do.They’ll just want to make a FAIR profit. A reasonable expectation.Unfortunately, at this point perhaps Andrew simply doesn’t have the inventory and didn’t care to write up a deal to the specs that I would like, even though I was willing to wait for the truck.Where I ended up buying the truck in Western New York, the experience for a customer was easy. They were like the second example.Without wasting anyone’s time, I simply stated what I wanted, told them I’m paying cash, told them that I am not doing the trade, and told them what I felt was fair for the dealer-installed items. Oh, and that I won’t pay hundreds of dollars to get a brand new truck washed.The only thing I have to do is go to the DMV, pay the WI taxes and pick up my license plates. The savings were well worth it. If you know what you want call when you can easily spec it out and you don’t have to call your car in Wisconsin. It’s easier than you think. It can be just about as easy if you are financing the car.During this auto shortage, you as the consumer do have options.

I have been a customer for 17 years and I made the mistake of trying a different garage for repairs about a year ago to save money (subtract 2100 from that comment). As it was Andrew’s wound up fixing the problem I had within 2 hours where the other nameless garage wanted to keep my car. I did wind up turning in my 17 year old car back in March when I couldn’t take one more repair and I was scared I’d get laughed at when they looked at my financials. Life has been a bit ugly for a few years and a third grader is doing better then me some days when it comes to money. Aidan who is like the best sales person ever wound up working a good deal for me and he is just a decent human being. Being a decent human being is a big deal these days. He’s great and I think it was Brian who helped me with the financing and I’m glad he convinced me to get GAP insurance. It makes me feel like crying when I think about how nice they were to me because I didn’t think I’d ever be able to have another car lease again. I can’t thank them enough. The years I went there for repairs I was always treated decently and nobody dinked me around with wasting my time. I lived in Bay view and then West Allis so I will travel to wherever I live for lunch car repairs. They really make you feel like family and I’m so grateful. And loyal! Loyalty is everything!!!

DO NOT GO: It was the worst experience that I have ever had. I went to check used cars. But I was made to wait to get pre-approved without even showing a car. I wasted more than 3 hours at this useless place. I was attended by a salesperson, Ruth who was juggling between me and another customer, making me wait for hours. Instead of showing me used cars, I was being forced to take a lease of a new car which I never wanted. The moment I said a hard no to leasing, the manager of the dealership looked down upon me, the worst way a customer could be treated. I would never recommend this dealer for anyone. Never trust the Andrew dealerships because they will make you buy what they want(higher profits) and not what you want.

First time buying a car on my own, and I chose Andrew Toyota for the selection of used vehicles they had. I was eyeing a car on the website and was able to test drive it and come back to purchase a few days later, without feeling pressured to buy same-day. I think this has a lot to do with the salesman, Charles, who was really awesome! He was considerate and listened to what my needs were for the car, and was just fun to talk to as well. Definitely ask for Charles if you can!!!
