Very pleasant experience throughout the buying process. The sales person, Mo, was there for me throughout the process and never pushed me to buy anything that I didn’t need. He patiently walked me through all options, pros and cons, he was very knowledgeable on Lincoln cars and even allowed me to check out his own car which was a Lincoln. The car arrived 10 days before the scheduled delivery date which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. We love the car and we can’t wait to take it for a long ride. It was my first time buying a vehicle. This dealership was fantastic in every way. Borys answered all of my questions and helped me find a vehicle that fit all of my needs. He kept the buying process transparent with no pressure. There was a small hiccup figuring out the financing portion, but the dealership was extremely helpful and patient. I got lucky and located a replacement car for my wife that had just been traded in, and it was exactly what she wanted. A huge challenge at this time due to shortages on used vehicles, if you can call 4K miles used.The staff at Capital, especially Mo, made the entire buying experience a positive one. I found a car online and contact this dealership. They had the vehicle waiting for me to test drive when I arrived. Robert was my salesperson. He was wonderful. He didnt push me, just let me test drive it. He was extremely personable and so nice to work with. If I had not purchased this day, I would have wanted to come back to work with him. I live about 3.5 hours away from Raleigh, so thats saying alot. I highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for a car.

Jeff in service understood a billing error that I caught on my final bill. When he couldnt find a manager easily, he root caused and found Mazda had made an error. He corrected it and got me on my way with my car. The requested repairs feel great and our 2017 Mazda CX-5 feels new again. Great service.

Every single step of buying my new car was amazing. Low pressure, friendly staff, and willing to work with me to make a deal I am comfortable with. Pretty frustrating experience. I called them daily about a vehicle for a week from the day it was listed that I had been searching for for a long time & repeatedly was told it wasnt able to be seen & would be called when it was available because it was going through inspection but then it gets sold on the same day they told me it couldnt be seen.I understand its their priority to sell cars which they succeed in but it just seems like poor customer service when someone has expressed they wanted to purchase the vehicle over & over again.

I’ve had my last awful experience with Capital Mazda’s service department. Won’t be going back there. After at least 4 service appointments to fix the seat heaters in my new Mazda 3 I’ve been told the following:1) it’s a known problem with this model and Mazda is working on a fix2) we’ve never heard of this problem before3) we can’t recreate the problem (probably because they hit the button once, the heaters worked, so they gave up)4) “The seat heaters sometimes don’t work in summer because it’s already hot outside”. I swear that’s what’s on the service order.I’ve been lied to, gaslit, had calls go unreturned for weeks, endured rude employees, you name it.Steer well clear of them. There are other Mazda dealers in the area. One of them has to be competent. These guys are not.

I struggled with if I wanted to write this review or not for awhile now, but after a recent bad faith with the service center, I decided it was time.Sales team was great - they also gave me a great price on my trade in, but the issues started about 2-3 weeks after I bought my brand new Mazda. I got in my car to go to work and the car wouldnt turn on. Had to have it towed to the dealership and I was given a loaner - they told me the loaners were carefully cleaned (COVID), however there were fingerprints and dust everywhere and dog hair in the trunk...obviously had not been cleaned. Took a few days, got my car back, and a few months later I went out of state, about 6 hours away, to visit family and my car broke down again. I called in a frantic since I needed to leave to be back to work the next day and the customer service rep told me it was probably my fault for leaving a light on and they would not be able to tow it. Luckily, my in-law had a battery charger, we charged it and I had to drive the 6 hours back to Cary - they recommended I not turn the car off in case it died again, so I needed to make it back on one tank of gas. Made it back to Cary with 7 miles to empty, filled up my car, and finally got it to the dealership. They gave me a loaner - this loaner was also clearly not cleaned- I found trash in it from the previous person and dirt/grass on the floor boards. They kept my car, said they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. They finally figured out what it was, waited for parts, fixed it and I got my car back with half a tank of gas left in it (interesting I have to return their loaner with full gas, but they dont have to return mine the same way).Never offered an apology or to make this right throughout the entire ongoing situation, and blamed me even though it turned out to be faulty parts. Now every time I go on a trip, I worry my brand new car will break down and I will be stranded in the middle of nowhere. The main reason I decided to buy new, was for peace of mind that I wouldnt have car troubles. If it wasnt for the depreciation, and losing a good deal of money, I would have gotten rid of this car a long time ago.For these reasons, I will never purchase another Mazda nor will I be taking my vehicle to their service center and I would not recommend them to any of my friends or family.. I wish I had gone with the Subaru.

They were amazing!! My only quibble was that they have a 60 minute checkout guarantee, but there were a whole lot of people there, so waiting to get the financials signed off took a couple of hours. Borys was very helpful getting back to me from a TrueCar lead, and was extremely knowledgeable during my test drive. Geremiah was great as a salesman. I was already totally sold on the car, but he kept checking on me while waiting on the financial paperwork. He even stayed late so that he could follow me home with my new CX-5! I loved how helpful, yet low-pressure they were. Would buy there again!

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. They deal shadily, their quote given to me that they wanted to do work for including over $4,000 in unnecessary work. They give ghost charges on things and then will not pick up the phone or give call backs when you are trying to figure things out. I would never recommend anyone to bring their vehicle to this dealership.

The service woman attempted to convince me that there was something seriously wrong with my car after I went in for an oil change before taking a big trip this month. She literally said, “I’m not trying to scare you, but your car will break down soon.” I just purchased my car 3.5 months ago from a dealership so after getting a second and third opinion I was told nothing was wrong with my vehicle. The people that looked at my car after this dealership were even informed of the “issues”, checked the car again, and said there was nothing wrong. The dealership tried to get me to pay $900 for something I didn’t need. Then after I told them I had a warranty, they pretended to call my warranty company (no way they actually could have bc the place is closed on the weekends btw) and then tried to get me to make an appointment to get the final quote and payment from my warranty company, even though she initially told me that the issue was so urgent I should get it done that day. A waste of time and money bc I was hoping this would be my forever dealership for all of my repairs and maintenance.

Service department input only: As soon as I saw that a synthetic oil change “with up to 5qts” was $99 I should have run out of there. Nice enough staff and they offer loaner cars and do great follow up about parts arrival etc. I just don’t respect the add on sales push for increased maintenance frequency and additives. People need to trust the manufacturers recommendations and not the dealer. And other than masks inside no covid prevention. Common pens to sign. No wiping of vehicle keys etc.

UPDATE: The sales and service team called and offered me new tires for the experience. I was going to delete the review, but I think it is important to recognize when someone rights a wrong.Sales experience was great. Its the follow-up. I bought this car at the end of June and purchased a warranty that includes tire road hazards (ie nails). The tire pressure light went off so I took it up to their service dept. Called me back and said it would be $25 to repair and wasnt covered on the warranty which is not right. Better than that, told me all 4 tires were almost completely worn out and said they could replace them for $825. I called Corey (sales manager) and he said he would take care of it that the tires are fine. Called 4 hours later bc I hadnt heard back and was told the tire was plugged. When asked why I was told they were bad, was informed they are instructed to upsell customers but the tires are fine. Thats it. Now Im left wondering if the tires are actually ok and have to take to my mechanic to confirm. Taking advantage of people is bad, but taking advantage during a pandemic when people are losing jobs and struggling is another level of awful.

Worst experience - sales person ripped away the quote papers from our hands as soon as we asked for lower price and asked us to get out.Before coming to the store, sales person sent me an email with lower price and later when questioned he tried to manipulate by saying thats all dealers cost that we need to add in.Mazda Raleigh & Durham dealerships will definitely give you better quotes as compared to Capital Mazda of Cary. Do consider to check them out before heading to this dealership.Hoping the sales manager do not respond back apologizing about the situation and better try to check with your own team about their selling expertise and dealing manners.

Capital Mazda falsely advertised one of their certified CX-5s as having a premium package on their website and all other car websites (, etc.). I came ready to buy the car that was advertised with windshield heads-up display, heated steering wheel, auto-folding side mirrors, etc and it didnt have any of those features.Also, Capital Mazda automatically adds $200 to the price of the car for nitrogen filled tires. The air we breathe is 80% nitrogen! Check out what Consumer Report says about nitrogen filled tires.If Capital Mazda is this shady from start, I cant imagine what tricks they pull on customers who come in for service and maintenance.

I will not return here for maintenance or vehicle services. I had my initial oil change performed at Capital Mazda of Cary as the wrench icon was lit on my dashboard. A couple of things need to be understood. The car comes from the factory with the ability to calculate useful engine oil life and thats the default setting, therefore the maintenance schedule is to rely on this wrench icon. Here is a quote from the owners manual on the topic:Vehicles using Engine Oil Flexible MaintenanceEngine Oil Flexible Maintenance is selected by default for U.S.A. and Puerto Rico residents....The vehicle calculates the remaining oil life based on engine operating conditions. Thevehicle lets you know when an oil change is due by illuminating the wrench indicator lightin the instrument cluster. Change the oil as soon as possible within the next 1000 km(600 mile) or 15 days.After I received my first oil change at the calculated time and mileage, I checked the maintenance schedule setting on my car (which is set to Flexible by default) and it was set to Fixed, which is the setting for you, or the mechanic who changed the setting after performing service, to specify the mileage at which the wrench icon should indicate another oil change.Not only did they override the factory default setting for no apparent reason, but they also set the fixed interval to 3 months/3,000 miles. Despite the maintenance schedule stating that an oil changed should be performed at 7,500 (if not relying on the Flexible calculation). Ill let you draw your own conclusions as to their motivations for doing so.Even if they made an assumption that I drive in severe driving conditions (which I do not and they would have no reason to think I do), the maintenance schedule is 6 months or 5,000 there is zero justification for them setting it at 3 months/3000 miles.Beyond that, they also tried to push for some additional additive that would have cost an extra 20 bucks. I declined the additive as it is not recommended by Mazda.Dont go here.

Very sketchy place to buy a used car from. I called ahead to verify that they the car I wanted was still available and after driving an hour up there the salesman said quote well this is awkward. Another family just showed up to look at your car. Wait here. He had me wait almost 45 minutes then walked over and told me they bought the car for full price. Obviously he called the other family to let them know someone was interested in the same car as them and they beat me there. They used me as a bartering chip to pressure them into buying the car and wasted my time. The salesmans name was Will.

Salesperson was friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. I was interested in leasing and asked for the Cap Cost, Money Factor, Residual, Monthly Payment and Drive-off. Those are the standard components of any lease. I have been leasing cars since the 1990s. All dealers have given me this information upfront. It is true that I might have to ask for it multiple times. This dealer would give me only the payment and drive-off upfront. I would get the rest from the Business Manager when I was signing papers in the Business Office. This was unacceptable to me, and not my past experience with dealers in CA, MA, MD, FL, and NC over nearly 30 years. I left given the dealers approach to this and the lack of transparency upfront.

The salesman Mike was very unprofessional. He wouldnt negotiate with us when we met with him. Then when I called him to let him know we decided to not go through with the deal, he got agitated on the phone and told me he was upset. He decided it would be a good idea to message my wife saying how upset he was about losing the deal we almost made.Never again.

I took my 2018 Mazda for a routine service. I didnt want to wait so I decided to leave and have them call me once the car was ready to pick up.About 10 minutes after I left the dealer, I got a call from the dealer claiming that I need extra services to done, and I quote: You need an additional service for break oil and transmission oil flushing this was a big red flag since Mazda does not recommend to do any of these in the car manual. They said all these would cost around $800! so my husband rejected this as it was obvious that they were trying to sell us a service that is not needed. I am never taking my car back to that dealer.

Bought a pre-owned vehicle from them that was a certified pre-owned - they said they verified that the vehicle was undamaged and in good shape. I recently came to find out that the roof is full of body filler, which is unheard of. Body filler is not supposed to be put in the roof of a car. And yet they said the roof was in good condition. I believe they should have caught the problem if they had actually inspected the car as they said they did. The body filler in the roof caused damage to it that cost me an extra $1200 to repair, and I am left doubting how long my car will last before needing another roof repair. I may have to buy a whole new car, as it would not be worth it to replace the entire roof, should more damage pop up from the body filler. They were no help throughout the process and refused to take any responsibility. I am disappointed and will no longer buy from them. I advise you do the same.

I have never had such an easy car-buying experience. My appointment was at 10am, and I walked out with new keys in hand by 1pm. I felt ZERO pressure from anyone. Shopping for a new car can be a very frustrating experience especially when dealerships are not transparent about the condition of their vehicles, practices and fees. After having the run around from a number of dealerships I decided to give Capital Mazda a try despite being 6 hours away and man am I glad I did. The entire staff is incredibly attentive, courteous and professional. The internet sales manager, John Manley, handled all of my online inquiries expeditiously while Omar in finance was detailed and transparent with all of the numbers prior to the trip. Upon arrival the vehicle was exactly as described and there were zero games throughout the entire process. Our sales rep Rob Forsyth was extremely knowledgeable and he graciously took his time to go over the car and every feature in person and Omar got me in and out of finance swiftly. All three of these gentleman went out of their way to really make us feel as comfortable as possible with our purchase and we wholeheartedly appreciate it.
