I have used this business since 1970s and all work ever performed on all my cars has been exceptional. When i first came to Atlanta, i purchased a used car, Plymouth Duster 1970 but i purchased it in 1973. They kept the car, i like the car it had a slant 6 engine and the car already had 50,000 miles when i purchased it when graduating from college. Then the next cars that i have had through the years, new one, i have actually only taken these back to the dealership initially but i have used Apollon for all the work. This business makes sure the customer is satisfied. the business also contributes to non profits helping different organizations. I recommend this business to others needing a good car place. Business is honest, believes in always dong the right thing to make the customer feel valued and satisfied.

I went yesterday evening to ask if I could bring my car in today for a broken sensor. The woman said fine, come in the morning. I did this morning, dropped it off. There was only one guy in the place working. He said they’d go get the part and it would be ready around 4. I never got a call back.I tried to call the number on the website a bunch if times with no response and a full mailbox. I went up around five, still just the one guy there. The car hadn’t been worked on at all. He said the owner hadn’t come in, wouldn’t answer the phone etc. So clearly he was unable to get the part and fix it. I’m NOT upset at the mechanic, but really mad at the owner. It feels unsafe to leave one person in charge of a garage, with no way to reach him or get parts. I was also told that if it had been fixed I would have needed cash. Totally unfair for the mechanic, and the owner lost a customer today.

I’ve been to this place twice now and in fairness the 1st time I received a fairly priced and quickly done work so I can’t in fairness leave a 1 star review. On a Monday I left the same car their far a new issue. I didn’t recieve any communion on a diagnostic or anything until I called back that Thursday for a follow up and they apparently didn’t take any notes cause they had to ask me what was wrong. I DONT KNOW! That’s why I left it with you. I was told I would recieve a call back that same Thursday I did not receive any sort of communication that day or any work day until the following Monday when I was waiting outside the establishment until 9:30 am (their hours claim to be 8am - 7pm). That morning I finally got in contact with someone who told me they were closed on all their normal days last week and nothing had been done to my car. The lack of communication with customers and amongst employees is extremely unprofessional. If you don’t stay on them to communicate with you will be out of the loop on what’s being done and when. And the shop will just remain closed with no communication with you at their discretion. I won’t be coming back here. They are too unorganized and lack communication for something as important as car repair. They are not inept in terms of actual car repair if you get that far.

I have no complaints. They checked out some work that had been done prior to coming in at no extra charge.

The shop owner went missing from Thursday night until Friday afternoon. I had to have my car towed because no one could find my key.

Had the valve gasket replaced. Saved me a lot of money compared to what the dealer wanted to charge. Will be going back.

I appreciate the their quick answer of a phone call to tell me that they could look at my car. But I dont appreciate my car sitting there for five days and not even getting looked at. They probably do good work but it cost me alot and Ubers to get around for a week and had nobody even look at the car. Had to send it to a different shop who had it done in 6 hours same day

My family has brought some cars to get fixed at this location. NEVER COMING BACK!! ONE OF THE GUYS LEFT IN CHARGE WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DID NOT WANT US TO PAY IN CARD JUST BECAUSE HE SIMPLY COULD NOT WORK HIS CARD MACHINE. HE USED PROFANITY WHILE SPEAKING WITH MY MOM . WAY TO OVER PRICED. I THINK THEY SHOULD RE CONSIDER WHO THEY LEAVE IN CHARGE WHEN THE OWNER IS GONE. WE TOLD THE GUY NOT TO WORK ON MY UNTIL I GOT THE MONEY AND HE STILL HAD THE NERVE TO WORK ON IT WITHOUT MY CONSISTENT AND DEMAND ME PAY JUST BECAUSE HE FINISHED WORKING ON THE CAR EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HIM I NOT TO START WORKING ON MY CAR !! THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE WORKER EVER !!! HOW CAN THE OWNER TRUST SOMEONE THAT CURSES AT HIS CUSTOMERS!!!

I initially liked taking my car here and very sad to say my service on my car has not been so great. I took it to get starter replaced only for the mechanic to tell me after I spent $400 I didnt need it replaced. Then after a week of it not starting again I took it for a second visit . The mechanic explained it was the sensor so when I went to pick my car up I was surprised to learn they did a tune up on my car without informing me and did no repairs on the sensor( keep in mind I already had a tune up 8 months prior) and I had to spend another $400 on this service.Sadly, not but within 24 hours of getting it from the shop the second time my car was not starting AGAIN. Im so frustrated because I gave them $800 for absolutely nothing with same results as day ONE. I still appreciate the lady upfront for being so sweet but I am just overall disappointed in the service.

I left a car there for a pre-purchase inspection, and was very pleased with their attention to detail and reasonable pricing. The staff seemed very friendly, and I could hear their conversations with customers and each other while I waited-- they seem like good, trustworthy people. I will be going back here for any repair or maintenance work.

Took my car there on Oct 25th (my birthday night I add) for overheating. Mentioned that it was also giving the code p0299 regarding the super turbo boost. I was contacted that my car needed thermos stat work and quoted $375, I returned Oct 29th to pick up my car they had not completed the work and later was charged $571 for thermostat and water system. On Nov 1st my car ran hot again. I took my car back to the shop and was told they would check it. Gave some explanation of a hose leak that he repaired with tape. Took my car for an oil change on the 8th and they told me it would be $270 to replace the thermostat housing! Mind you I just paid APOLLON to repair this. I took the car back to them and the owner had the nerve to get an attitude with me because I was insistent on why another service store is telling me my car is still not running properly and they supposed to have fixed it. He was rude and short with me, and had the nerve to say he would charge me to diagnose it again. His mechanic told me I needed a water pump but could not explain to me how he fix the overheating problem without checking all of the coolant system. I would not recommend them to anyone. They were not professional and quite frankly ripped me off.UPDATE: NOW THEY ARE POSTING THAT IT WAS ALL MY FAULT THAT MY CAR WAS NOT FIXED PROPERLY. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE AND OTHERS WILL SOON FIND THAT OUT. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND GREAT SERVICE ISNT A PRIORITY. NOW I AM BEING HARASSED AND THREATENED.

Good place to go

This man is the only honest man in all of Atlanta. We drove multiple hours to buy a vehicle from a local dealer. We wanted to get a quick inspection done before negotiating a price on the vehicle. We looked up this shop, gave a quick call, and had the vehicle on a lift within 30 minutes. The price for the inspection was the lowest out of several places we called. Within under an hour, the mechanic called us and told us to come back in. He professionally explained that he wouldnt touch that vehicle with a stick. It was a complete pig with lipstick on it and he picked that vehicle apart. The mechanic went a step further to show us where the check engine light was clipped, where hidden damage was, etc so that we could be even better well equipped for the future. I truly cannot thank this shop enough. They saved us tons of money and my familys safety. I will recommend this shop to everyone. Tomorrow I am writing a hand-written thank you card to send as an expression of my gratitude.

My family and I have always had a great experience with them, even if theres still an issue after the initial fix, weve always been able to call back and have our car looked again again. People need to understand that cars are machinery, therefore many times one issue causes multiple others that may possibly not be found out until after the initial issue is resolved. Just go back and talk to those at the shop instead of assuming the worst.If you have a question about pricing they will tell you why or the reason before charging and / or doing the work.

I have dealt with them few times. I reserved an appointment a day before and had my job done in a time manner. People there are gentlemen. They are welcoming and explain to you what needs to be fixed and why. Prices are reasonable. You can also get an appointment at the same day, it depends on the working load there. People are honest and explain everything for you. They do help in making good maintenance within a reasonable price.

The so called mechanics in the shop speak little to no english and the lady working the front desk was very unprofessional.I had to have my vehicle towed to another mechanic across town. Friendly family owned and operated auto repair shop that does good work and charges very fair prices.**UPDATE**Took car in soon as they opened at 8a.m. to have control arms replaced and was told it would be completed by the end of the day. It wasntThen I was told next day after lunch so I went back next day at closing time and still not done. In fact hadnt even started on it so I took car for the night since I depend on my car for work. But brought it back next morning before they opened and dropped it off. Another whole entire day passed and the next morning I called and was told it would be that night by closing. So when I went back that night and discovered car still hadnt been touched I was done. The staff said they were short staffed and I even overheard one of them tell another that mine was the car they had to pull out of the garage to take care of another one. So they had my car for 4 days and 3 nights and did nothing to it. Thats 4 days and 3 nights that I was unable to use my vehicle costing me a good bit of pay. Not sure exactly what changed in this shop which used to be awesome but I would not recommend anyone to waste their time and money on this place again

I am so disappointed. My family has been trusting Apollon and George and Tassos for 30 years. Very recently, something has changed. I had my alternator die, and when it was towed in, I told them it was the alternator. They called me a couple days later saying they’d changed the battery and everything was fine. I patiently explained the battery was less than a month old, and I needed them to check the alternator. They were skeptical. But they checked, and sure enough, my alternator was dead. So they replaced it, and then had the nerve to charge me for a battery and an alternator to the tune of $550. I argued that I hadn’t wanted a new battery anyway, and they insisted that once the battery was dead with a broken alternator, there was no fixing it. 30 years, and I feel utterly betrayed. I will be shopping for a new mechanic, and telling the DOZENS of friends and others I’ve referred to them over the years to find a new mechanic.

I first took my car to 1 Decatur Pro Auto Care on the corner of Lawrenceville Hwy and Frazier Rd in North Decatur because my cars AC was blowing hot. Left it overnight. I received a quote for $2100 for complete replacement of everything AC related and extremely expensive labor costs. I looked up the average total replacement cost for my car was $1300. I paid the diagnostic fee and took my car to Apollon Auto Service at 2727 Shallowford rd. Described the problem and they flushed my AC, reset the high pressure switch, installed new refrigerant and fixed my AC in one hour for $91. Apollon Auto Service has earned my business.

Nothing like a transmission breaking down 4 hours from home on a Saturday afternoon on I-85 in Atlanta. Thank goodness I happened upon these folks.They quoted me a price and helped me get to a rental car place closer than the airport. Kept me posted on the price and expected time i could go back and pick it up. Had it ready in just a few days and price quoted was just what they said it would be. Works great and has a nationwide warranty.Cant say enough good about these folks.

If you are looking for a place to check your car out/or you already know whats wrong, go to Appollon. They will let you bring your own parts (if theyre the right parts) and only charge you labor. But Ive been using then for 17yrs now and I have NEVER been dissatisfied with their work.

Took my car in to replace a certain part, got a quote so i gave them the go. Took 2 days when they told me it could be ready the same day. Worst part is I ended up paying almost TWICE what they quoted me in the beginning because they “ordered the wrong part”....bs! If you’re looking for an honest mechanic shop, keep looking.

I came this morning before 0800. I was first customer in. A man came in 10 min later, his car was pulled in and fixed first. The worker messed with my truck for 90 min and now it won’t start at all. I drove it here and they had to push it out of the bay. Among other things they told me I need new plugs and wires. I just had these replaced a month ago. They also said I have no gas in the truck, it is 1/8 from being full. They ran my battery down. I am sitting in parking lot waiting for AAA. I have been treated very poorly.

MY HORROR OF THE MECHANICS THAT GET OVER ON SINGLE WOMAN WITH KIDS.. I TOOK MY 2004 FORD EXPLORER AND THEY SAY THEY PUT A REBUILT TRANSMISSION IN IT . NOW BEING A SINGLE MOTHER PAYING THEM 1600 FOR THIS JOB I EXPECTED IT TO LAST MORE THAN 61/2 MONTHS.. SMDH A WASTE OF MONEY ... NOW THEY ARE WANTING ME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER TRANSMISSION.. MY MISTAKE WAS TRUSTING THEM TO DO AND HONOR THEIR WORD ..I NOW DONT REALLY THINK THEY PUT A NEW TRANSMISSION IN MY TRUCK BECAUSE IT IS DOING THE SAME THING .. These guys saved me a $10000 mistake for only $30 bucks. Dropped in for a prepurchase inspection and a few minutes later I was staring at the underside of a nightmare in the waiting. Might have actually bought a disaster of a used car if it werent for their friendly service and sharp eyes.

I dont know, I took my car there and it took over a week before they even looked at it. Then, when I got it back, my little carbon fiber radio antenna was broken. The repair has been fine, however (thankfully). Also, if I remember correctly, I think I was quoted around $300 to replace a differential pinion seal -- a job I could do myself in 30 minutes to an hour if I had a lift and the right tools. Also, the inside of my car had shoe marks on it (on the door and other plastic interior components), something thats characteristic of negligence. On the plus side, I was offered a ride to and from the shop so I wouldnt have to walk all of the way there (I didnt accept, but it was a kind gesture -- something I appreciate). I live close, however, so I doubt this is the norm.

Im new customer to Apollon, but I will be a customer for life based on work that was done on my vehicles and the manner and respect that they showed me. This place has reasonably pricing not like Firestone who charge you $1200 or more to put four axel on your vehicle......SMH!!. This place is always packed with cars, but one thing I noticed word of mouth is everything. With their superior experience mechanics, owners who care and customers who absolutely love this place you will not be disappointed.
