I had a previous oil change at another place and they put the oil pan bolt in way too tight. I rounded the bolt and Alan repaired it very quickly when I came in. He is very easy to get along with, professional, and courteous. Alan & his guys repaired my 2012 Nissan Versa when the fuel pump went out. Id already had it looked at by another mechanic but they said it was just the fuse. 2 weeks later, it was out again...so I got it towed to Alans Repair on Metropolitan Ave., just South of Cleveland Ave. He gave me a very fair price to fix it...and let me pick up the parts at NAPA, so it was cheap as possible to get me rolling again in a couple of days. Honest & good work.

Awesome service from Alan. He was able to get my truck in on Saturday, order all the parts and had the truck complete on Tuesday. Not to mention for half the price of what I was quoted elsewhere! Planning on taking my other work vehicle here in the future. Its cash only which is the only downside but cant beat it for the value of work! 5/5

I was first recommended to Alan in 2000 when my 96 Tahoes Engine/ Transmission gave out. Alan not only rebuilt it for a great price but had my truck sounding better than when I had the dealership working on it. The engine ran so quiet at times I forgot it was on. After that Alan has been my mechanic. He worked on my parents cars; and even a few of my friends and they have been impressed.Alan really knows how to fix a car and keep it honest and affordable

I was heading to work in my box truck and my engine kicked out a spark plug, I had no idea what was going on with my truck, and someone pointed out Alan shop to me,I quickly went to him and as soon as I drove up he heard the noise and asked me what spark plug came out? at that point I knew I was at the right place,he gave me a reasonable price for parts and labor and a time to pick up my truck, when I picked up my truck it was running like a dream again and no issues yet.. Was dropping my sister off at airport when my front tire started shuttering. Pulled off hwy and called 7 numbers for mechanic and he was only one to answer and even tho he was closing he told me to come down, fixed my car(missing bolt in brake calibers) didnt overcharge and had me out in under 10 minutes. Great guy.

Really Good service & experience. I had rims got band they fix it in 30 minutes they gave me used tier for that rims that massed up and one plastic piece came out from bottom of car they fix all this in around 30 minutes, definitely will be back when I have next problem. I really recommend this place for any year model car. Alan was cool guy.

I have been using Alan’s Repair shop since 2011. He always gives prompt service for very fair prices, and will install parts of your choice unlike other repair shops which require you to install their own.On 10/23/2020 Alan promptly installed new rotors and pads on my front axle within the 45 minute window I had available for lunch. He charged me a very reasonable price, half of what a franchise mechanic would.I recommend his services and will continue to be a patron!

This is a great spot. The young man Mr. Blake always assists me. He is very friendly and helpful. If hes not able to the other mechanics have no problem coming over. I get my tires, oil changes, headlights and a switch change. I have been going here for all of the 4 years that Ive lived in Atlanta and theyve worked on all 3 of my vehicles. The only reason that I didnt give a 5 was because theyre so popular that there is a wait even when you have an appointment.

I didnt realize how sloppy of a job he did !!!Damaged my rim and said it was already like that.Try to sell me another one!After talking to him over the phone he told me to bring the car back, hell fix the problemAnd give me $10 in gas to drive back to his station 1 hour away!The only thing he did was rotated the tire and he said hes not going to give me gas because he fix the problem!!I will never go back to him or recommend anyone.If you do so do it in caution he didnt care about me on my safety when he put that tire on knowing it made my car unsafe.

This guy is a crook, had my car for over 2 months. Finally admitted he couldn’t fix it and still charged me $300. NOTHING he said he fixed had been replaced. And it was clear he hadn’t done the work. The worst part is he didn’t even put it back together, it’s in pieces. And told me I was crazy because I was mad. Avoid this guy at all costs!!!

The gentleman at the shop were extremely helpful and dropped what they were doing to help my drive-in problem. My spouse called stuck alongside the road on the way to work, I was able to come and switch cars and limp into Alan Auto Repair where they were quick to solve the problem.Thank by you!

Called after trying to repair my own car which didnt work out. I called and Alan understood exactly what I was saying. I have an Audi and everyone was telling me how expensive it was going to be to fix it and to fix everything and even fix my bumper back to normal was a great price. Also got my car back in 24 hours. This place was a life saver for me. I was visiting from FL and getting ready to drive down Sunday when the Friday before, to my horror, my check engine light came on. Even though Sat was July 4th, I was very relieved they were open and told me I could come in within the hour. When I got there, the problem was diagnosed right away. It was also very nice that there was an AutoZone right next door where I could go pick up the parts immediately. Shortly after picking them up, my car was good to go, and the problem solved! Staff was very friendly and the prices were definitely reasonable. I highly recommend this place, but I would still call ahead on any holiday to make sure they are open haha.

If you’re ever in the atl metro are I highly recommend Alan Auto Repair. Was driving though on Memorial Day and all shops where closed. In a last min effort I was able to get in contact with Alan near closing. I told him my situation he stayed till after closing to help and he repaired my tire. I am very grateful to have ran Alan and I am extremely thankful!

The place has no hours listed even outside. I needed a tire change at 7 am... found them and stopped by. There was no sign for hours so i hung around for an hour!... still closed. I left to find another tire shop. Early bird gets the worm. Its Atlanta, open early or post your hours!

Stay very far away if you need any serious work done by serious mechanics who care about their customers. Deals can be found everywhere -- I went to this place thinking it was one and it was a major mistake. Fine for tires but I would not trust this place for anything else. Extremely, extremely sloppy and careless work. My favorite story to tell about this place is that after returning after THREE MONTHS to pick up my car, the windshield had been broken by one of the employees. Three years after they worked on my car, I am still finding and fixing problems they created.

Alan is great! He has fixed my honda a couple of years ago. CV joints, tune up and tires. Recently changed my brakes on my Sorrento. Quick and knowledgeable.*3yrs ago update: Alan provided excellent service today. I had my alternator replaced and he did this in short noticed! He also recommended services and let me know when I should look into getting repair completed. Also the price was GREAT...$500 LESS THAN PEP BOYS! I will update the next service that I need.
