Dale was very helpful in my time of need. I was traveling across Colorado and heading to Omaha when my car started having problems. I brought it in to them in the morning and he was done with all the repairs by the end of the day. They were generous enough to let me wait in their very comfortable waiting room and kept me updated with everything that was happening. They fixed my front ball joints for a very reasonable price and I made it to Omaha safely and stress-free. I will definitely be recommending this shop to my friends in the Denver area.

The headlights on my 2005 4Runner were getting more and more opaque. I had to drive with my high beams and fog lights on to see the road. I did some homework about replacing the assemblies and found that, if I did the labor I could get away for about $400. One repair place quoted me $1600. I spoke with Dale, who has lots of positive reviews on Yelp among others. He suggested that I should get the lenses polished. His price was about half the cost of my diy replacement option. The lens turned out beautifully. They look and work like new. He also offered a loaner car or a ride from and to home (no cost). Great experience.

He was able to get my car in, diagnose the issue, get the parts ordered and have me good advice on how to proceed with the work needed on my car. I have been taking my MDX to the dealership for maintenance since we purchased it. I had complained to them for years that the brakes had a severe shimmy but only on the last visit did they finally agree I needed to resurface the rotors along with several other very costly repairs. I made a call and Drew came out to assist me in getting my vehicle to his shop. The estimate for the repair was fair, and I also asked for a diagnosis of a suspension noise which I also had the team at AAC resolve. They provided me a very nice loaner while my car was in repair, and completed those repairs in a timely fashion. I’m really very happy with the end result, and will be returning in the future as needed.

I came in contact with Alternative auto care while I was dealing with the warranty company who was supposed to cover the repairs on a blown engine in my Ford Escape, they were on the list of “in plan repair facilities”After having my car towed to the shop I met Dale, the owner, who was a very knowledgeable and honest person from the very start. He explained the process to me in full and accurate detail, explained all of my options to me and offered me a loaner car that I could use while my car was in the shop! That was a great service as I had no other means of transport while my Ford was being repaired. Because of the warranty company disputing my case I had to have the loaner car for a lot longer than anticipated, Dale didn’t seem bothered by that and went above and beyond in helping me with the warranty troubles.I eventually had to purchase a new engine aside from the warranty. Dale and his son Derrick along the rest of their team did the installation along with replacing every part that was necessary in the repair! He recommended new tires and brakes while we had it in the shop and I asked about a new windshield since mine was cracked, those issues were handled with great professionalism. I would recommend Alternative Auto Care. I have been looking for a good honest mechanic for awhile, and when my 4Runner needed a complete AC replacement, they did an excellent job. They were very professional, explained what needed to be done very thoroughly and honestly, and although it ended up being an expensive fix, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. They even surprised me by having my car washed and cleaned when I went to pick it up. I will definitely use them again.

I had 2 vehicles worked on at the same time. Derek, Dale and Shelley kept me informed and updated on everything that was happening at all times. One needed a fuel filter, tune up and general maintenance, the other needed a clutch and transmission! Both vehicles were completed much sooner than I anticipated. In fact, I contemplated lowering the insurance on one because I thought it would be at least a month before it would be up and running due to the Subaru factory being closed. Really like this place. They were able to diagnose a difficult Honda CRV AWD transmission leakage issue and they provided multiple solutions to repair for cost versus guarantee options. I have driven the car at full 75 MPH highway speeds for over 50 miles and there are no more leaks.They take detailed, high quality photos of the problems they find. They wait to do each repair until you authorize each item. They had found two additional items needing attention break pad replacement and an engine oil leak I wasnt aware of.The problems were explained in great detail with additional information provided as I asked questions. This has been a refreshing experience compared to when I have taken my car to the dealer. Ill definitely be returning again. I highly recommend you take your car there for minor or major work on your Honda.

We recently moved to the area so I was looking for a new shop. I tried AAC based on its ratings online. I brought them a messy steering problem. They could have declared the component a loss and easily replaced it as an easy but expensive fix. Instead, they took the time to repair the part that was damaged. They fixed the main problem I came in for, but when I asked them to take a look at my brakes I was told I needed new front pads and rotors and would soon need rear drum brakes replaced. I did the work myself and found out that the only thing needing replacement any time soon were the rotors. I called them out on it via text with no response.
