Great honest guy with fair prices! I had Paul replace my front and rear shocks and while he was working on my car, I asked him to check out a dash light that came on for my break system. He was able to diagnose it, give me a quote and a few days later he replaced a valve that had failed in my break system (part of the vacuum pump assembly [I have a hybrid]). Now my car drives smoothly and I dont have a dash light on! Whole process was painless, fairly priced, and Paul was very accommodating and professional.

I cant say enough good things about Paul, at Tanner automotive. I called him for what I was told to be a rear main seal repair on a jeep wrangler. A 1500 or more repair. He immediately told me it wasnt that. He know the problem without even looking at the jeep. He said he could do a rush repair that night. So I took it over to him and dropped it off. He found a few other small, and not so small issues with my jeep. He texted me photos with updates, suggestions and thoughts through the whole process. My bill ended up doubling from what I planned on, but he stopped adding shop hours because he was already in the vehicle working, and was able to fix these issues quickly and cheaply. Any other shop would keep adding hours for every little thing they fix on your vehicle. I will be bring all my cars to him for life. I recommend you do the same as well. He turned the jeep around with in about 24 hours, full repaired. Drives like a new jeep. Thanks for doing such great work.

I just moved to Thornton and wanted to find a consistent mechanic that I could rely on. At first I was skeptical that he works out of his home, but this is so much better than a chain auto shop that will hike up prices. Paul is reliable and super friendly. He even took me back to my house so I didnt have to stay there and wait when I didnt have a ride (I live ~5min away from him). He explains everything very well and doesnt pressure you to get everything at once if you would rather wait or spread non-urgent services out. I had my oil light come on way before I was due for my next oil change and he let me come to him on short notice even though he was booked out. He wanted to make sure I didnt run out of oil and my engine blow up. He is amazing and highly recommend!!

Paul has on more than one occasion fixed my car and my husbands truck. Recently, he got my Subaru in the next day when we had some issues with it and had it fixed by the end of the day. He has always gotten our vehicles in right away and gets them out within the next day or two. The work is always great and we know we are getting a great deal because taking them to the dealership would easily cost hundreds more. He’s great with communication, always letting me know what he’s doing to my car and what needs to be done, never springing anything on me last minute. I had issues with my breaks, belts, and emissions. On top of that I was stressed about the cost and time to fix my car. I was searching on Google for a mechanic came across Tanner Automotive. He had five stars so I decided to call him. He lead in me in the right direction! He fixed the radiator, the water pump, timing belts, tensioners and pulley on my 2004 Kia Sedona ! I could be more happy with his work my Van is brand new. I will be taking every vehicle I ever own to him and if any one ever ask me where a good mechanic is I will be more then happy to send them his way! Also to include he has very affordable prices!

Honest and knows his stuff. He’s worked on our 98 F-150, 89 Jeep Wrangler, 04 Suzuki Vitara and 14 Jeep Wrangler. I usually try to handle my own repairs but when I can’t figure it out, Paul always finds the problem and makes it right. Some of the big items he’s done over the years; new clutch, radiator, axle replacement, transmission, fuel injectors, head gasket. He also did a pre-purchase inspection before we bought the used 2014 Jeep. He listed some items that he felt needed repairs and the dealer took care of them for us. That saved us a fair amount of money and any related frustrations, if we would have had to bring the vehicle back right after buying it.
