Brought my vehicle in due to an electrical issue that was happening intermittently. The techs did the best they could but couldn’t get to the bottom of it.After quoting me $240 for the diagnosis, they ended up not charging me, which I thought was a very generous move.

The first time I took my Honda civic to be repaired and they did a decent job. Parts were a little pricey because I think they buy the parts for a great wholesale price and then the mark up the sale value of the part, making them a big profit on the part (I know because I worked at an auto parts store). I went ahead and had them complete the work, didnt want to deal with the repairs myself car was already at their shop. Paid for the work that was done and moved on.Took in my Honda Pilot because I bought the warranty from CarMax and Christian Brothers were one of the shops that the warranty company worked with. They left my car a mess, grease all over the center console. I had vacuumed my car before I took it in they didnt even put down the protector the put on the floor mats leaving a trail of mud. When I picked up the car from them, the car wouldnt start because the technician didnt unplug the battery when you replaced a part in my car, leaving the doors open and the dome lights on. They didnt put my console back together correstly and theres a whole bunch of scratches and a piece missing. We were never updated on the progress on the vehicle, we waited and waited, we had to call twice, first time were told it would be done by 5pm that day never received a call. We had to call to find out that they were going to keep it until the next morning. Morning came and no call, so we gave them until noon and called again, they said that they needed 2 more hours. I can understand making a little profit off of parts but charging $149.00 on a $30 part and at least treat by car with respect and keep it clean and the courtesy of updating me on my vehicle!!!!

Performed full inspection. Emailed recommendations with pictures of my vehicle with detailed descriptions. Was able to approve recommended work online. Pricing was reasonable.

Top notch place. Took my truck in to get the front end looked at, as well as some other things. Drew was in constant contact with me throughout the whole process. Whatever they are paying him, they should pay him more to make sure he doesn’t leave. Never once did I get the feeling I made a mistake letting CBA work on my truck. They ordered some parts for my front end to try and fix the caster and after trying the parts out and not being able to fix it, they didn’t charge me. They will definitely be getting my business again.

Asked about getting my car fixed and pricing. Jackie answered the phone and said I’ll call you back with a quote. 5 hours later I finally call only for him to completely forget about my info I just gave him. Then he comes up with a quote and the parts he wants to use are refurbished and not brand new. I’d watch these people carefully might be throwing used parts in your car with you even knowing. 500 for parts and labor is outlandish. 120 for a used alternator plus you get my core charge back and 380 in labor. Wow yeah I will never use you guys ever.

Friendly, honest, and exceptional service. I enjoyed the text message updates and photos of what they found. I have found my go to auto mechanic, finally someone I can trust. The shuttle back and forth to my home was so nice, it eliminated the stress of calling a cab!

Had my car towed there with an electrical issue. Technicians failed to catch an inadequate alternator, opting instead to change batteries, and push me out the door. The free alternator test from O’Reilly Auto Parts was infinitely more productive than the “inspection” I received.

I like that they were thorough in their assessment. I like being able to look online and see a detailed assessment of my car. Made it easy for me to approve and decline the services recommended for my vehicle. Also, they were always very nice to me when I called or came up to the shop.

They were very uncooperative with me over the phone and it made me just feel like they had poor attitude. I dont know or care how good they are. They were disrespectful

I’ve taken my vehicle to them twice now. The work they performed was done correctly and I haven’t had any problems with my vehicle. The first time (about three years ago) they replaced my gas cap. My first one was connected to the tank, but the new one they put on wasn’t. I called the shop two or three times to have them replace it with one that was connected because I was afraid I would loose my cap. But didn’t follow up after that. Sometime in the last couple of months I lost the cap but didn’t know it as I haven’t driven very much during COVID. I took my car in this week because the check engine light was on and I needed some other maintenance done on it. They did the diagnostics, and discovered the missing gas cap and that it was the reason for the check engine light to come on. Total for those two items were almost $200.00. I went in to pick the car up, explained what had happened three years ago and the manager removed those charges from my bill. I really appreciate how they listened to me and valued my concerns. I will continue to take my car to them. It’s not very often you find a mechanic who you trust and know they care about the customers and would honor a problem from three years ago.

So on July 16th I took my Toyota Highlander into have new front brakes done apparently Christian brothers resurface the rotors and according to to other places including a dealership those rotors should have never been resurfaced but I trusted them Ive been going there for about a year now and had other things done. I start having an issue and somebody else told me it was front brakes and I basically because I trusted Christian brothers called them a liar, today I took my Toyota Highlander in for oil change and I get a text saying I need all new rotors and the charge is going to be over $200 they wont meet me halfway or do anything about it when I brought up that this should have been caught not even 3 months ago they did not care. All they keep saying is we wont charge you labor when in reality I already paid for the labor but they dont value me as a customer so clearly they dont have a value in their customers so beware and be very careful they did nothing for me and I have to go spend the money to have my brakes completely redone on the front with somebody else I dont understand how they dont value people in their own neighborhood thank you.

The person at the front desk seems like he had an attitude and if hes going to treat people he dont know like that, imagine how he will treat my car or other cars for that matter.

Im relatively new to Thornton and didnt have a mechanic yet. I gave CBA a try and I do not regret it. Their technology is great. They are friendly and responsive. And they also understand that sometimes I dont want to do everything or if something looks bad, I may not want to do anything! Im very satisfied.

Couldnt figure out what was wrong with a 1999 van stalling out. After they had my vehicle for days they inform me that I need to replace my sparkplugs in order to continue further testing. $541.37 for sparkplugs. If I wouldnt do the plugs they wouldnt do anymore testing. Then they gave me a quote for all kinds of unrelated issues totaling in $4900.27. Basically thats mechanic talk for we dont wanna work on it but maybe hell give us some money.. They butter you up with a shuttle ride or a loaner car then try to screw you on price and severity. In my quote for an oil change they even added a replacement drainplug. They truly spare NO expence. Their Ford tech (Mr.Lambertson) refused to talk over the phone after they found out they were talking with my heavy machinery mechanic friend. The only good thing they did was not charge me for their ridiculously priced $120 inspection. I had a starter for a little Acura done by them years ago and it was over $500 with the best discount they could do. They are your classic scummy mechanic;Too expensive for an inspection but it doesnt drive so figure it out. Too broken but were losing so give us money.

Great service. Very thorough inspection and great use of technology to communicate what they found. It even had pictures of all the items to be worked on. Finally, they had two people stay late on a Friday to get my vehicle completed! Amazing customer service.

This business place is awesome. When my wife’s car had an issue, I searched around looking for a good shop to bring it to, knowing most repair shops will try to up sell you in repairs. I was impressed when they repaired the issue and didn’t do any up selling. So I decided to bring my car in for some routine maintenance. The entire process was absolutely smooth. Starting from the Hum app on my iPhone which allowed me to schedule an appointment with my own detailed notes. I received a confirmation phone call just a few minutes later. Dropping off my vehicle was fast and efficient including a complimentary shuttle ride home. The service office was clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. I didn’t feel pressured, hurried, or uninformed. My vehicle was completed in the time specified. I received a text, made a call, got a ride, paid for my service, and drive home without a single issue. The included pictures of my brake pad thickness and other things checked is a huge game changer. That leaves no question as to condition etc. The only thing that could have made me more satisfied is maybe a discount for my oil change since I didn’t have a coupon or promotional mailer. Oh wait, I did get a discount! 6 stars out of 5 for Drew and everyone else at this location. I’ll certainly be back next time I need service. If there is a ‘Cadillac’ of service shops, these guys are the Ferrari.

I traveled out of my way because of the great reviews this location had. It was worth every mile! I thought my truck needed a lot of work. CB - Thorntons technicians told me I only needed an oil change and a gallon of coolant. They could have performed a lot of unnecessary work and charged me more. They earned a customer for life, because of this extraordinary honesty.

This is the 3rd car I have brought to Christian Brothers Automotive and I have always had great work done on my cars. This is the first place I think of when I need something fixed on my car and I know they will do a great job. I went in to their shop and told them my Astro Van was running rough with not much accelleration. I asked them to plug my van into the diagnostic check machine. They said it would cost $120.00. When they got back to me they said my brakes were getting low, my wheel bearings were getting worn, leak in my water pump, oil pan gasket was leaking( which it is not), Brake fluid was dirty, and a few other things which came up to almost $3000.00 to fix. NOTHING had to do with my engine running badly. I asked them if the diagnostic computer threw any codes and They said NO. They ended charging me $120.00 for absolutely nothing. I went to another mechanic and their diagnostic computer found what was wrong. What a rip off. They tried to sell me a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with why I brought it there, and never addressed the issue that I brought it in for.

Honest and Upfront. Just had a ton of work done at another local shop in Thornton, check engine light came on 2 days later the shop couldn’t get me back in until next week took it to Christian brothers next to horizon high school you guys where swamped but still managed to get me in that day. Told me that it was in relation to my last repair even took pictures of what was going on and contacted the other repair shop to let them know what you guys found. You didn’t charge me a dime and I got my car fixed under there warranty, but I want to let you know me and my family will bringing our cars to you from now on, you earned a customer for life!

The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I had an older truck (1992) that needed brakes, struts, and air conditioning work. They had it all done within a day and for the price they estimated. The truck drives (almost) like new! They also texted me when the estimate was ready and when repairs were done. I would definitely return for more repairs and recommend to friends and family.

Today, I took my husband to Christian Bros to get an oil change. When he picked up his car (30 min before they even estimated to start doing the service), we asked if they could also fit my car in for an oil change, too. Happily, they were able to fit me in and were done in less than a couple hours.When they finished with my service, I got a text with a link to view their complimentary vehicle inspection report (they inspect things like tire tread/pressure, brakes, filters, fluid, dash lights, etc. and include pictures of any findings). Really cool!They guys at the shop, both at the desk and the mechanics themselves, are all very professional and friendly. I will definitely go back for all my future service needs!

They were incredible!!!! First off the environment that you walk into makes you feel like you are at home. First impression is the best. But that started with a call to let me know that 5 pm they could not do my oil change. And all they could offer me was 4pm. I told them I don’t get off tell 4300 from work. The gentleman on the phone asked if I could be put on hold. Once this happened a great and understanding voice came through my phone which was a recording telling it’s just going to be a few min. It took only 5 seconds for him to get back on and he told me they could do the oil change for me but they would not be able to do the inspection. So I went in. And it was quick and great!!;) the when I left they said at anytime you want your inspection down please come back and we will do it for free. Incredible just incredible thank you for being a real honest automotive!!:):):)

I, like most, have had bad experiences with other mechanic shops. I have been dealt with professionally and clearly each time I have visited. Their pickup and dropoff service for the neighbood is great as well as the towing reimbursement plan available to all customers. I have found that their prices are very reasonable as well as their recommendations for service and repairs.

Save your $$ and go somewhere else!!! They are WAY overpriced. We brought my car in to see why I had a check engine light ($100 just for the diagnostic). Turns out the thermostat was out and they wanted to charge us over $400 to fix it! My husband declined their services, bought the part for $70 and installed it himself-boom, no more check engine light! This place is a racket. 100% will not be back.

I called to schedule an oil change. Also told them about an accident my gf was in and needed them to look at the differential housing and leaf springs for insurance purposes. Right away he asked if I had the body damage looked at first and I replied no. He pointed out to me that should be taken care of first. He was right according to my insurance company and he recommended me to a place near there shop and everything is cool.

Pricy but the service is great and their technicians are good. One thing these guys really excel at is checking out a used car youre thinking of buying. If you can get an appointment to have the vehicle checked out, take it to a CB.

I wanted to get work done and had to try to get the money together and had it there for a couple weeks then God forbid I went into the hospital for 2 weeks and had someone not give them notice I was then I got the same as they gave no notice that my car was getting impounded and found out that the owner had it impounded with out any notice or phone call.

I dont usually leave reviews. But these guys impressed me.I took my car in because my brakes were squeaking and I also needed an oil change. I left my car with them and they offered to give me a ride home. They did my oil changed and called me and told me my brakes still have about six months to a year left on them and if I can handle the intermittent squeaking then I should just wait to replace them and get as much out of the current ones as I can. Then the owner himself came to pick me up to get my car. At checkout I tried to give them an extra $20 for the lift. But they wouldnt accept it . You guys have got a customer for life. Sure is refreshing to find an honest mechanical shop. Everyone needs to be going here.Thank you Christian Brothers.

I received a detailed report within 45 minutes and was able to pay over the phone. It saved me having to make a 2 hour trip from Denver. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Wow did Drew and Milo help me out. Our older truck wouldn’t start one day so we had it towed to Christian Brothers Thornton after taking it there once before and they were able to figure out the problem which was a new battery but also found other things that would really help the truck run smoother. With being short on cash they worked with us on what was highly recommended to do right away and what could wait. They truly understood our situation and helped get us back on the road within the week which was super quick and very welcomed. We appreciate everything the staff did for us and they also had great communication with us the whole time which was greatly appreciated. We will be back to get the rest fixed by them in a few months.

Wanted to share my experience to hopefully help other folks in the neighborhood. They’ve moved into a nice neighborhood and they are charging accordingly $$$. I’d thought I’d give them a try because of their proximity to our home, but will NOT use them in the future. Don’t get me wrong, staff was friendly and timely with great processes for communication and convenience in place, but the price tag and suggested services are hefty. Diagnostic fee was over a hundred dollars when competitors are charging a fraction of that. They suggested I get all of my brakes replaced, along with another hefty repair bringing my total to over $1700. I took the quote and priced around before having them do the work and I’m so glad I did. Another shop that I trust although farther away quoted the job at $1000. Upon doing their own inspection ($10) they found my rear brakes were good at 70%. Although I had to eat the diagnostic fee with Christian Brothers I’m still glad I left and saved some cash and had work done that really needed to be done. They get 2 stars for customer service and a clean facility.

All great people and mechanics . I was surprised as not many know how to work on diesel trucks, they did however and saved me a long drive to a dirsel shop. They were quick too. John one of the managers there was very good to me. The inside is like a nice home.God bless

Just as important to me, Ive not found a more professional shop anywhere. Great experiences time after time, and cold beverages in the waiting area. After spending the last year arguing and getting jobbed by a big name mechanic here in Thornton I finally found one that did right!! Had a very difficult starter issue with my truck which caused me to have to bring my truck back twice to complete the repair. I was picked up and brought home both times by the owner and not charged for any work after the first visit. Very happy with their service and attention to customer experience. My first impression of Christian Brothers was of the waiting room. It was comfortable, modern, and beautiful decorated- unlike any other mechanic Ive been to. My car needed to be kept all day, so I was shuttled home. Due to no fault of theirs, they had to keep my car over the weekend. The work was more extensive than they thought and they had to secure a couple of specific parts from the dealership. I learned later that they were sent the wrong part 3 times. They went to great lengths to make sure my vehicle was fixed correctly and, to my surprise, I ended up paying substantially less than what I had expected. They have gained a loyal customer. I highly recommend them!
