What a gorgeous cafe! Inside is unique; there are only a few spots, but if you get them, they are worth sitting at and enjoying. The floor-to-ceiling windows are stellar. The Medici is certainly the coffee menu standout. It is a rich espresso-based drink with chocolaty and orangy tastes. I’d get it 100 times if I could!

Coffee is great, service is really friendly. Turnaround speed and prices are pretty decent. Definitely worth to check out if youve got one near your path, which is likely, theyve spread throughout the city for a reason!

The coffee is good, fair selection of bakery items. Would be nice if they cleaned their huge glass windows. Part of their draw is the window seats.

Skip the straw and the lid on you latte... you will dribble all over yourself. It is worth the dribble, however; the coffee and the atmosphere of this little cafe is a delightful break from the bustle of the street. Bring a friend or have a meeting, but come and enjoy a great roasted cup of coffee.

Was recommended this place by my friends, who are Seattle locals and coffee lovers. This is one of their absolute favorite coffee shops. Once you walk in, the place is a little small, but in a quaint, open bookstore sort of way. The staff were absolutely phenomenal and let me sample all the coffees so I could decide which I wanted. There knowledge and friendliness was very welcoming! Can not recommend this place enough!

My husband isnt a coffee drinker but Ian patiently answered his newbie questions and suggested a dark chocolate mocha. Hubbie upgraded to hemp milk (those wacky vegans) and Ian served it with a ❤. Ian is a credit to Ladro and customer service in general- give him a raise! Optional outdoor seating was perfect to people watch and enjoy the beautiful August weather. Warning, the indoor seats are so comfortable you wont want to leave. Bonus: Its always awesome when the baked goods are worth the calories.

Love Cafe Ladro coffee- its suuuuper smooth and delicious. The atmosphere at this particular location is not my favorite. Theres a serious lack of comfy chairs and the staff always plays the same awful auto tuned hip hop music. It doesnt exactly cause me to want to linger, so minus one star. Other locations are great.

Very overpriced with mediocre customer service. A latte should not cost over $7. Since I cannot reply to the reply I will edit it and post here. I don’t think I would have minded as much if I didn’t feel double charged for flavor. If your team double charges they should let customers know, or move the line so they can pay before drinks are made but since you make them first with no notice it seems a bit... devious. I presumed I was being charged for using syrup not twice for what tasted like the same amount of syrup. I don’t think I would have minded if I had known ahead of time. I knew it would be over $6 but that was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. Thank you for at least looking at reviews I guess.

Ladro is one of my coffee go-tos after a trip back from overseas. This ladro location in particular is quite lovely. High ceilings with large glass windows. A great place to grab some non-burnt-non-Starbucks coffee as well as kicking back and resting those weary feet. A few steps away from the Washington convention center as well as the main shopping district. A nice place to get away from the crazy crowd.

Went there in an early July morning to buy coffee grounds on recommendations from a friend, and the awesome products did not disappoint. Reason for the 3-star is due to our experience at the counter. With no other patrons in the shop, my simple purchase of 3 bags of coffee took more than 10 minutes, and heres how. As we stood at the register waiting to pay, two staff members were busy going through some basic training routines and completely ignored us. My wife and I were very baffled by the (mis)treatment and decided to patiently see how it played out. We got a quick sorry, well be right with you about 5 minutes in, and then waited for another 5 minutes before the staff decided to process our payment, which took about 30 seconds. During this whole time we joked loudly, made faces, hummed tunes, and were chuckling in disbelief of this odd encounter. Good thing that we werent in a hurry, and we ended up laughing about it often. But cmon, no retail establishment can treat customers like that.
