Barista was rude :/ almond croissant tasted stale. My soy milk latte was okay though! (Would’ve gone down the street but it was too crowded- might’ve been worth it)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this location, the staff is kind, thoughtful, and informative. I work in the neighborhood so Im in there 3-5 times a week-simply because Ive been made to feel welcomed by every single one of the staff members ( Im on a first name basis with most of the staff). My identity and pronouns have always been respected and celebrated and honestly I love walking into a place where everyone working there is queer and friendly.

Unlike its logo, cafe Ladro does not exude the same mystery in its coffee!!Served in a orange hued cup is perhaps the only good thing!!!Nothing else...Whether it’s Umbria or Ladro, the drip coffee fails...What I had today had a bitter mouthfeel good body and no fruitiness. Tasted like a mix of arabica and robusta. Quite weird!The shakenado my son ordered was a sweetened espresso. Quite weird, he didn’t like it eitherI sense the branding perhaps is better than their coffee, I will admit. Nice marketing pictures and packaging. And yes the orange!!

I have been there twice. Very different experiences both times. The atmosphere of the shop is cool, just perfect to hang out while enjoying ☕. The first time there was a female barista that was so sweet and nice and I thought I would be back. Last week, I invited a friend for coffee and we were VERY disappointed with the customer service of a guy that was wearing glasses, he had a very hostile attitude toward us, I dont ever want to come back unless I knew that guy wasnt there anymore.

If you want to go somewhere where people are just mad you exist then this is the place. The barrista was rude from the moment we stepped through the door and clearly annoyed we bothered to order from him. The coffee is great but the service is awful. If you want good coffee and a pleasant experience go elsewhere.

Very rude staff... if you cant respect people who come to your cafe with positive energy and spend their money then you should quit and let someone else fill your spot. The owner should pay closer attention to his staff coz that will hurt this business.Btw that barista is getting pretty famous on here...

One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Great place to stop off and grab a cup of coffee before a walk through Volunteer Park. The sidewalk seating is super cute, too. Their Covid response is very attentive and safe, as well. They go beyond whats mandated by the government. Bravo!

From trendy coffee shop to the new roaster establishment. Starbucks is old school now. A new standard. Like pastries and quiche.

Visiting Caffe Ladro after work has been a pleasant experience. I find that in the early evenings, it is more quiet and laid back. That being said, it makes the it the perfect location for a person to study or write. They have Wi-Fi set up for customer use and this is helpful.The staff are friendly. I cannot comment on their coffee, as I am not a coffee drinker (crazy, I know), but I normally get a hot chocolate. That has been yummy and has the heart latte art. Also, the banana bread is great! Moist and not dry.Overall, I enjoy visiting and getting much research and writing done!

Ethiopian light roast was excellent. Mollys wrap was very tasty!! Baristas were busy and still kind...Not always the case in many coffee shops!

Really solid coffee and pastries. Friendly team members. Clean location. Parking can be tricky nearby but worth a little hike.

I have heard nothing but great things about this place and I am so glad that they all checked out! The staff here was polite, the place was clean, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I stayed a while and it seemed like that was common practice. Such a comfortable spot to have a great cup of coffee. Ill be back for sure.

If youre looking for that laid-back nostalgic Frazier feeling where the coffee is piping hot and the friends need a place to hang out, Caffe Ladro delivers.Its a small hole-in-the-wall on 15th Ave East on Capitol Hill. Get there in time and get a front row seat at the window. Good lattes... good teas!

My favorite place for tea

In Ladro you can drink a really good spice chai latte. Also its a quite place and the attendant is very kind. The shaikerado its a good option if you need energy.

This a perfect place to grab a great cup of coffee and relax or get some work done. The staff is friendly and good at their job. I highly recommend Caffe Ladro! BTW I love the music you play.

Someone once told me I didnt deserve to be served there so I havent liked the cafe in sometime. Maybe that can change someday. Being homeless is tough.

It was good coffee. Because of shortage of man power, customers had to lineup to order and to get their order. As the same time, they didnt make it as what I said like no foam, extra hot, etc. Other than that, those employees were working hard.

I have lived a stones throw from this place ever since theyve opened some 15 years ago. Ive seen managers and staff come and go and come and go. At the time of this review I find the current stuff delightful helpful and earnest. No coffee snobbery going on here either.

Honestly this place is average compared to all the amazing coffee shops around. Average drinks, average interior. But on a Sunday afternoon, it was the only one on the street with seating. Cant complain. Ive had the chai latte, mocha, and cappuccino. all decent but not great.

Slow! Good coffee but to only make one drink at a time when you have a line of customers is just annoying. And another thing to all coffee shops too, stop telling people to go around to the back of the line when looking at your display case of pastries. Make it then so customers can look while also waiting to order coffee!!!

Enjoyed morning coffee and a warmed-up quiche very much. Barista was very friendly, and neighborhood folks were chatting with each other. It was like being welcomed into someones living room!

Exceptionally welcoming, knowledgeable staff who have brought some of the citys best coffee to this neighborhood for years.
