My recent visits to Fresh Flours in Beacon Hill and now White Center are both a little disappointing. I love croissants and they just seem not able to get it right, too soft and doesnt have the rich smell. I dont think Ill keep trying anymore.Staff is nice and prices are fair, there are a few outdoor tables in the street.

Polite and friendly employees is the best I can say for this cafe. The mocha was acceptable, the croissant was bready, and the green tea cookies were not a delight, as some have claimed. I went as it was on several lists for best croissant in Seattle. I left wondering how that happened.

Today was my very first time visiting this bakery. I am taking the time to write this review of MY experience of this place. I am person who would like to know what I’m eating and the ingredients inside it and the reason why I’m writing this because Im very disappointed with how bakery does not have a ingredients list on top of each pastry. I asked for a recommendation from one of the barista at the counter and she recommended a almond chocolate croissant. I bought one piece for me and my kids. After taking one bite of it I felt like it tasted different, like something was off with the way the croissant tasted like. I called them to ask for the ingredients of the pastry and the women I order from tells me that there was RUM in the pastry!! Rum as in a alcoholic drink mixed into a pastry. I had absolutely no idea because they refuse to show the ingredients of each pastry on their platters. And the coffee I got with was average, tasteless, nothing like a good white Mocha latte from other cafes. In total they took almost $10 from me on something I immediately throw away and thankfully I called them before letting my kids eat it. It was a tragedy, of how they are concealing the ingredients of a pastry, imagine if I was Allergic to macadamia nuts and had no idea what I was eating had the very thing that could kill me. And the fact that the counter lady didn’t even bother to tell me what could be inside the pasty seem like intentional MOTIVE to get me to buy and REFUSE to refund me. I would not come back here EVER. Waste of my money and time for something that is harmful to me and could potentially hurt me.So this is my review and advise on this place. Next time ask for the ingredients of any pastry you buy from here because the staff and bakery are concealing the ingredients from you, and If you have allergy with nuts or anything and including alcohols ALLWAYs ask and take precautions. After all they are there to sell you delicious looking foods that could hurt your health. Take Heed my fellow people and Godspeed.

The indoor cafe space accessible to customers is fairly small, however they have a huge outdoor seating area just outside the bakery in a private area--a great place to chat with a friend on a nice day or read. It would be nice if it had some umbrellas for the sun though. The mocha I ordered was okay. It had too thin a body for my taste, but thats fine since this is a bakery and I came for the breads and pastries. Speaking of which, their walnut chocolate chip cookies are great; well balanced and not too sweet. The croissants have a golden, crispy exterior and fairly fluffy interior. At home I warmed up one of their chocolate croissants and it probably ranks within the top 5--maybe even top 3--Ive had in Seattle. Ill update this review on my next visit after trying more of their pastries.Parking is available nearby in one of the lots along 17th Ave SW or along the main road, 16th Ave SW.

Pastries were good. Croissant was light and fluffy, macrons were soft. Came here around 1pm on a Monday and the selection of pastries was down to around 4 items, not complaining as I know they probably sell out during morning rushes.Seating area was nice, and provide lots of space for people.Coffee could be better. had some grounds in it and couldn’t taste the caramel.Would come again but just pastries.

A delightful local pastry shop, their sunny disposition is infectious, and their baked goods are excellent. Their croissants and macaroons are enduring favorites, and their breakfast quiches and baked pies and muffins are superb. Any given item they carry will be delicious, Unfortunately its not a very well kept secret, so expect the place to be generally busy around normal busy hours Is. Absolutely worth it if youre looking for a nice morning snack or a fresh cup of coffee and something to wash down.

Great process, pastries, and coffee all served with a smile. Kind of a hole in the wall kind of place recommended to me by the locals, and was worth the stop. Muffins, scones, croissants, and some other unique pastries so theres something for everyone. Will have to come back to try some more.

I dropped by and paid about $4.50 for this savory pastry (forgot the name). They have a roomy patio to enjoy your treat. It was crispy, butter forward, great pastry flake, and (filling) very tasty/savory. It was a little expensive for the size but because of the quality, I would come back for a weekend treat once in a while. I’m not in the area often so this isn’t a regular thing for me either. They provide hand sanitizer and also sell locally-made goods (including masks). They have seating in the back as well as out front. There is 2-hour free parking along the street which wasn’t too congested on a Saturday morning. There was a line and a short wait (15 minutes?) around 9AM.One star off because either the customers weren’t respecting the sign of 5 persons inside at a time and/or it wasn’t enforced (or maybe the number needs to be changed). Maybe even increase the capacity ti 6 or 7. I think there should be a way for people who are just waiting for an online order or their pastry to be warmed to be asked to sit outside until they are called (or pastry delivered to them).

We came for the macarons and they were stellar. Passion fruit and yuzu were the standout flavors, but everything was good.Theres no dedicated parking but we found street parking fairly quickly around the corner. The place is small and busy (there was a line out the door when we arrived around 10 am), but the line moved quickly and the service was great. This place is also dog friendly.

I visited them for the first time yesterday, and there were a bunch of flies inside. That was fine, until I noticed that a few were landing on the pastries (and having a stroll), which are not kept in a cabinet or wrapped. Its a cute-looking cafe, but this is highly unsanitary.

Very small, very packed, inside was all full I had to sit outside. It was cold and windy, but the sun was shining and the birds provided entertainment. Good thing I hadnt come to do any work.. My drink was pretty good, my cookie was alright. I wish I had asked for the cookie to be heated up and my drink to be in a Togo cup. But I sat outside and quickly drank my quickly cooling coffee. I was also unsure if I leave my cup to be picked up or I put it away in the bin myself.Friendly gal, but very small and very cramped when I went.

Cute little bakery in white center. The pastries are delicious and have a very Danish feel to them. Id really like to grade this place higher. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is really great. But the pastries are, ok. Given the price point I really had hoped theyd be a bit better. Over all the flavors are what I find a bit underwhelming. The pastries are flakey, soft and delicate. I just wish some of the expected flavors packed more of a punch. Really a super cute shop though. I love the vibe the bring to this part of White Center.
