Hands down the best shot of espresso qnd flat white Ive ever had. That was before the oqndemic and I dont know if they still have the same people working there or not but Im subscribed to get their beans every 2 weeks. Try it out if you are ever near Pioneer Square.

This is often a quiet place to come a sip your morning espresso. The windows in the front let in quite a bit of light so this place always feels warm and inviting. I always seem to get a lot of reading done when I’m here.

Very nice coffee, fruity and not too heavily roasted. One if the few places where they roast their coffee. We had a fun time watching the roasting expert cup the coffee. Don’t forget to try their in-house Hazelnut Milk drink. The best we have tried.

A nice, peaceful spot to hang out at in the afternoon. I just went for a simple latte and it was very nice. Decent amount of seating, I really liked my spot by the window. Good people watching as they go in/out of the flatstick pub next door, and there was a little photoshoot going on at the graffiti wall across the street. Would definitely return when Im in town again.

Excellent food, excellent service, and a cake to die for! I came here with my wife after getting a recommendation from an instructor at a nearby off-road driving center. We had missed breakfast, so finding this coffee shop was fantastic. I also tried the latte and carrot cake, both of which were delicious! We will return!

Great quality self-roasted coffee and nice environment for work or study. Their Wifi is pretty stable and fast. The cappuccino I orded taste a bit sour and smell good. However their latte doesnt taste the sour I have in cappuccino. The latte is smooth, not sour, not bitter, it is what I like for daily regular drink.

Seattle has many great coffee roasters. With easy, I put Elm in my rotating top 3 in the region. Consistent and beautifully crafted beans. The cafe Pioneer always has kind staff and when its not 2020, comfortable places to sit. In case its of value, I cant pick a favorite out of Elm, Seattle Coffee Works and Boon Boona.

Tried several places during my visit to Seattle, and this was by far my favorite coffee roaster. Had the One and One (espresso and coffee - black) and a hazelnut milk latte. Loved the coffee which was their Kenya Kiunyu beans, and I took some beans home. The latte was also great. They make their own hazelnut milk and its wonderful. Sad I dont live anywhere near it, but looking forward to my next visit.

Pretty good espresso at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, its surrounded by other good espresso places at a reasonable price. Still, if you find yourself here, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

The best cappucionos and macchiatos I had in Seattle. And I visited atleast 30 shops in the area.

Favorite coffee shop in Seattle! Their light roast of coffee are a step above most. Similar to heart coffee in Portland or Beacon coffee in Southern California. They have taken the art and science of roasting the freshest beans with the best flavors to the next level. The vibe in here is also pretty chill and great if you want to stick around for a bit. I suggest a one of everything or one and one to order. The cafe itself is not a great place to work on a computer so don’t plan for that.

We were visiting from SF and came here first thing our first morning in town. Chill vibes, great coffee.

Relaxed atmosphere, super friendly staff willing to chat, lots of roasting going on Sunday morning. Sea salt chocolate chip cookie has layers of gooey dark chocolate folded in instead of chips. Beware of the lemony espresso if you like it straight - fine if youre getting something with milk. When I had it the roast was called Nine Swans.

Visiting this coffee shop was the best decision in my whole life. Marry was pretty and polite as well. I got my coffee on time and the desserts I deeply admired with their menu. The quality of service they provided was amazing! I wont hesitate to advise this place to all of my co-workers and friends for sure. Nice place!

I like their espresso it is not too strong. The bittersweet taste of it is my taste. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. This shop is a must-visit.

Gotta love an aesthetic coffee shop that actually has good coffee. Amazing.We stopped in mid afternoon on a Saturday and the cafe was mildly busy. The baristas there were super friendly and had our order out so quickly.I got an iced latte $5The latte smelled fresh and tastes smooth. It had a perfect ratio of milk to bitterness aka I didnt feel like I had to pour sugar in. Sometimes when I go to smaller coffee shops I feel bad for not wanting to drink black coffee and their lattes are crazy bitter. But I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere w a good drink. Plus they sell some merch and coffee accessories so you kno they aint just for showBut if you wanna add sugar or something I guess you have to ask? Next time Ill come back, order something different and ask more questions rather than stay 5 mins

Husband had a cortado which he says was very good. We also had the filter coffee for the day which was an Ethiopian bean- delicious! Hoping to stop back by for a bag or two before heading back to Texas.

Stopped in here after seeing it was one of the top coffee spots in Seattle, one of a few I visited here. The coffee tasted good, the overall experience was just a little underwhelming, there was a lack of atmosphere. Maybe I visited too early in the morning.

Love their roasting style and the beans they are able to bring in. Always get a hazelnut-milk latte with my bag of beans, as I just make black coffee at home and its fun to try something from the bar.

Unfriendly employees, weird attitude. I ordered the trio. One of the cups hand was broken, the other drink was already half spilled on the tray by the time it got to me. I didn’t have the pleased experience that I was hoping for, and read reviews about.

Service has been okay. Drinks are overly sweet. Teas are okay. Nothing too special. And everything is expensive. Is there any kind of loyalty where you can get discounts or free drinks? I only come here because they are open late and a place to hang out.

The aesthetic is beautiful, but Ive now had two non-coffee drinks here and been underwhelmed by both. The tea was unappealing, and the hazelnut milk peppermint hot chocolate was somewhat watery.

While it was very busy when I went, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, getting me and a friend a table. I had an apple pastry and a hot latte. Their coffee has an earthy aroma and medium acidity that also has a medium body.

A chill spot in Pioneer Square to sip a cup of coffee and do some work. There arent a lot of plugs (I actually didnt see any) so make sure your laptop is charged.The coffee was enjoyable and served in a beautiful grayish blue cup. The establishment has a modern style of decoration with white walls and organic accents. The staff were cool and friendly to those who seemed to be regulars. I received a weird vibe from some, but Im sure it wasnt anything.Overall, I enjoyed my visit and coffee here.

So we came when they were just about to close. We were impressed that the guy at the counter was still all about selling us his coffee. We had 2 different Ethiopian roasts that were featured; one filtered and one espresso. They were very good; complex flavor. However the pricing perplexes me. It is $3 for the filtered coffee or espresso (very reasonable) but a 12 oz bag of beans is $21! Hence, I would get a cup of coffee from here but wont be getting the beans. Also, I wouldnt go out of my way to go here (like I would for Valhalla in Tacoma.) If I am in the area, sure I would give it another go. Also, doesnt yet come close in complexity and overall pleasantness of flavor to my current favorite Ride the Edge by Roast House in Spokane ($12.99 for a lb). As we left, a woman who works there was holding the door for us and Just get out! was written all over her face (not exactly leaving the best final impression.)

Coffee tastes great, single origin and thoughtfully presented. Space works to meet up with friends or colleagues. Tables are a slightly odd (rectangular) size, which is great for when you a sharing your spot with a stranger and their laptop.. though means talking loudly is a requisite for chats.

Drink wise, I thought the lavender latte was tasty. It had a light lavender flavor that paired well and didnt overpower the flavor of the latte. I also really liked their pesto chicken toast, but I was disappointed to find out when I came back for a second time that they took it off the menu.

This is my favourite coffee shop in town. Whenever I am in Seattle I come here for a good cup of coffee. They also sell fresh beans so I buy a couple bags every time, because we enjoy making coffee at home on the weekends.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick afternoon latte. It was so, so tasty! The coffee was outstanding and their house made hazelnut milk is amazing! I gave it 4 stars because it’s really expensive.

This is a bright and airy place thats great for starting your day. I recommend the one of everything sampler for those that want to experience a variety of coffee preparation in one sitting. The have oat, soy, and homemade hazelnut milk alternatives on hand.

I went in this afternoon, being in specialty coffee for five years. I can’t express how amazing my espresso was today. Also the customer service was on point. The lady with all tattoos rang me up, and was wonderful. The gentleman with the short brown hair, pulled me a perfect shot of espresso. Overall a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back.

Ive been a lot of Seattle coffee shops and this one is among the very top. I usually get only regular coffee and here it was brewed to perfection. My best friend got a golden latte and couldnt stop raving. Buy some beans and enjoy the window seats!

I feel privileged to work in Pioneer Square and have so many solid options for Coffee. Sadly the place with the best tasting coffee has the rudest employees. So rude, that I wont step foot in the door anymore. It seems that this is the feeling that most people get when walking out the door as I have heard 10+ colleagues complain about the staffs attitudes over the past few months. Most of which also comment that they will no longer visit. Its sad to see the staffs poor attitudes pushing so many customers away. This review is somewhat dated as I havent visited in over a month.

Elm Coffee Roasters has the absolute best espresso + tonic drink Ive had. The staff is great as well, as I had been a number of times, but hadnt gotten a punch card. When the staff realized this, they give me enough punches for a free drink on my next visit. Not a huge deal, but great customer service. They also know what I drink when I come down each time. Highly recommend these guys.

Elm is consistently one of my favorite espresso cafes in Pioneer Square. An espresso tonic is the perfect coffee drink for a hot day (if you like tonic water).

Another solid Seattle coffee shop. The interior is clean and nicely designed. You can buy brand that are toasted in house as well. Their prices are a little on the pricier side but worth it for a decent espresso.

Its not a far cry to say its one of my favorite coffees in the city. Beans are great ( Temple ) & truth be told, Im addicted to their butterscotch latte - 1/2 sweet, with almond milk, and every time - they deliver with a smile. All of them, which is a fin rarity these days. The coffee isnt the only thing thats warm here :) I just moved closer to the neighborhood and couldnt be happier to start my mornings/kick start my afternoons with one of their bevs.

Always my number one stop to have coffee when I visit Seattle. Alot of people go to Storyville for being so close to pikes place and the ambiance is great. But quality of coffee, hands down Elms coffee is top notch. Their drip ☕ is great and Americano always a classy favorite. Definitely stop by to check it out!
