Just bought a 2020 used Santa Fe from Mike and Bryce in used sales department. They were excellent to work with and everything went smooth, even the finance manager was great. This is an easy company to work with and they are not charging insane prices or market adjustments. We drove an hour and half specifically to deal with Huffines Hyundai and it was worth it.
I would like to commend Brandon, service manager of Huffines and his service team for the exceptional service I have received on my Hyundai. They have went above and beyond to ensure I am happy and to not have any unwarranted expense for the repairs on my car. Brandon is very professional and quick to reply to questions and issues with repairs. I highly recommend this dealer and service department.
Besides taking 3 full days to complete (two of which the car was not moved or started at all) when the service person called Friday afternoon to say the car was ready, he then attempted to sell me additional “things “ my car needed to have done. Radiator flush, transmission flush, air filters. Clearly he had not reviewed work performed history. New engine put in less than a year ago, etc. all the things he recommended were already done.
I have bought 2 cars from this dealership within the last couple of years. I always return for service on my car. Made an appointment a couple weeks in advance, went on a Monday morning for 845 AM appointment. I requested an oil change and tire rotation. I did not leave the dealership until 12 PM. My appointment time was not honored, I even waited at the dealership. There were multiple people working on the express lane but my car continued to get skipped. If you make an appointment here, make sure you have plenty of time to sit and wait.Update - Spoke with the GM on the phone. He apologized for the slow service. I understand places are short staffed and there might be some new people in the shop. I will continue to come here for service, as I have for the past 2 year but I hope things will get done in a timely matter. I appreciate the GM taking the time to call me on this issue.
Brandon was very helpful with resolving some questions I had remaining about my car service. I feel very good about the next time that I need to use Huffines for service. They really care about their customers.
Edit: After a very long appointment (3 hour) that made me late for a meeting, the general manager, Roosevelt May, took the time to speak with me and make sure I left happy. Great customer service. Always a good team.
I came to Hyundai for a Genesis GV70 after an absolutely miserable experience at Eckert Hyundai in Denton. Daniel and the team at Huffines were helpful and professional and we were in and out with the car within 3 hours, including a very thorough introduction to the vehicle at 9pm at night. It’s not a buyers market for cars right now but the GSM was more than reasonable and the whole experience was easy. We decided to cancel our extended warranty after purchase and they didn’t bother us, just sent us the cancellation forms. We had a chip in the hood upon delivery from a test drive and the entire hood was repainted within a three days.
Huffines of Plano, and specifically Andy Wu are easy to work with. He lets the customer set the pace. This is my 2nd purchase from Andy and I wouldnt have returned if he had not been so friendly, informed and patient the first time. He is also efficient when explaining all the features in the car and set a few things up for me to make it easier for me. No pressure, just helpful professionalism.

I decided to give this place a second chance. The first time I came here was about three years ago. It was a terrible experience. Our sales representative laughed at us after we told him what price we were looking for and told us that we wouldnt find a price like that anywhere (We went to Van Hyundai and got the vehicle we were looking for at the price we wanted that same day). This time around was much better.Pio Kim (unrelated to myself as far as I know) is the only reason why this place is getting three stars instead of two. Hes not your stereotypical dealer that tries to draw things out and fight you over every single thing. Hes very helpful and honest with his work. Overall the experience was good enough at this dealership. The dealership itself is a much nicer place than the Van Hyundai location in Carrollton in my opinion. HOWEVER, I believe the people at Van Hyundai are way more willing to negotiate the pricing of your vehicle (Of course, Huffines big selling point is that they dont charge dealer fees like the other places [Although, I would recommend fact-checking this since the only other Hyundai location Ive dealt with is the Van Hyundai location.]).The best thing about my visit here was the fact that it was the fastest I had been in and out of a dealership with a new vehicle at a price that was good enough for me. I set up an appointment at 9am and was back home by 2pm.The worst thing about my experience here was an issue that came up with an incentive being applied to my vehicle purchase. The price I was offered and agreed on was revoked at the last minute as I was about to finalize all the paperwork because there had been a miscommunication between managers about my eligibility for the incentive. Yet, the financial manager offered no solutions and just constantly told us that we werent eligible for it so the discount couldnt be applied. Rather, it was Pio who came to our rescue and suggested a different way we could get the value of the incentive without actually getting the incentive itself.TL;DR: The dealership is alright, and the management could be better. If you choose to go here I would recommend working with Pio Kim.
Today is Labor Day and I was in a bit of a panic when my battery died. I called this location and Patty R. was very helpful. Great customer service and thankful for her help!
Worst experience with this service dealership. I have only ever owned Hyundai vehicles for the past 10 years and this one will be my last. The last time I came to have my vehicle services, Stephanie, completely did everything wrong. From start to finish it was a mess. Not only did she approve very expensive services that I DID NOT approve, she failed to even call or contact me when my car was ready. It was pulling teeth to work with her. I ended up paying thousands of dollars for services I did not even want done. Who knows if they even needed to be completed. Now 3 thousand miles later one of the things they replaced is broken and leaking again. I call to come get it fixed because it is under warranty and I get my appointment cancelled because there is not enough workers. Unreal. Now this is going to probably cause more damage because they do not have it together. I am in the works on purchasing a new car, but I know I will never purchase this car and deal with them again. It is not worth the headache.
I came to this dealership looking for a Kona. I was previously turned down by Hiley of Burleson who refused to sell me a car because I wasnt interested in their financing. Its not in the dealerships interest I was told.I worked with Daniel at Huffines. He was quick to answer my questions and very professional. He had my paperwork done in an hour. The next day when I came to pick up my new car Daniel went over all the features in the vehicle. This was huge, it saved me research time. He was extremely thorough as well. This dealership treated me with respect thank you.
Thank you and shout out to Darrell Rice of the used car team. I called asking if they had a specific model of used Genesis available. They did not have any, but Darrell said hed look around in the system and get back with me. Darrell called back a little later, locating the model I was looking for at Huffines McKinney, leaving me a very detailed message with specifics about the car. I did end up buying a Genesis over at the McKinney location. Overall I had a very good experience with the people I dealt with at both Huffines Plano and McKinney.
Be aware that for many of the vehicles in their inventory, the online price is not the actual price of the vehicle. They add something called the Huffines Appearance Package as Dealer Upgrades. This package adds a little more than five-thousand dollars to the final price. This is for upgrades that I do not even like!In my case, we were looking at the Palisade. It was listed on their website at ~48k. I submitted an inquiry from their website and was promptly texted from a salesperson. Another dealer told me that Huffines did this, so I asked in text, and he confirmed. Ive submitted evidence, so this will hopefully help some readers avoid a waisted trip as a result of the blatant false advertising. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but it is clear that their intent is to get people to show up and play the let me talk to my manager game.I gave two stars instead of one because the salesperson was prompt and honest once I asked him about the price. I also blurred out his name, as I do not want to get anyone in trouble.They seem to be rated pretty high on Google, so perhaps other services they offer are okay, but one cannot overlook this deceitful practice, so they get two stars from me.
Ive never had such a quick and positive car buying experience. Its very rare for a woman to NOT get ripped off or belittled when shopping for a car, but that is NOT the case here. Definitely check them out next time if you want a good experience. And if youre in the market for something Used, ask for Michael! Hes wonderful!

They go out of their way to listen to your concerns, work with the Technicians and make the necessary repairs happen in a timely manner.My car just went out of warranty but that wont stop me from bringing it to Huffines Hyundai Plano for continued service and maintenance. Theyre the best around.
I had a 10 year old Sonata that I need to replace. I went to Huffines Hyundai McKinney to check out my options. I wanted another Sonata and DJ Johnson did an excellent job of taking me through the new Sonatas and their features. With all the advances in technology since I last purchased a car, I had a steep learning curve to catch up. DJ was invaluable in helping me select my new Sonata and in getting me ready to drive it. I’ll return to Huffines Hyundai McKinney the next time I need another car because of the exceptional help DJ provided.

The only reason Im not giving them a five is because they were too busy to install the part - but Scott helped me find a local body shop to help me get it installed!

Overall bad experience for the past services I’ve done here, they couldn’t pinpoint what’s wrong with my car and I had to go back several times, and they confused me with other customers when contacting me. After they fixed something, something else appears to be broken during the service, wish they can improve for future services.
I had the BEST EXPERIENCE at Huffines Hyundai and I cannot thank my salesman Eric Stovall enough for putting me in the car of my dreams. I bought a Used 2016 Jeep Wrangler and it was everything I could of wanted. Gave me a great deal on my trade in, worked with me on my payment and financing was a breeze. Sent me home in a nice rental until my car was cleaned and ready which is actually the car my mom bought from them when my car was ready. She was happy with her experience as well and I will continue to recommend them to everyone for years to come.
This was my first service visit with Huffines Hyundai after I moved to the area. Went for only oil change in their express service option. 2 hours later after a chat with customer service and a phone call, finally they found my car and said it was ready. The advisor did not bother to call and inform once the oil change was done. Reading the past reviews, just expected better service. Next time will just go to my old service center and avoid the long service time.
Nathan Banks did a very good job. I had some braking issues after installing new tires somewhere else. It not happened all the time but very dangerous when that happened because I can’t stop my car. He successfully reproduce the problem and find the root cause. I also mistakenly made appointment in Aug but walked in on Wed, which I didn’t realize. But he still spent time with me and dealt with my concerns. Very nice guy!
Worst experience at this service center!!I am just reading the same reviews from latest previous visitors.Here is what what happened.1. I scheduled appointment online with transmission fluid change. the price online is $129. when I got there, they said that price is dated. the right price is $149.99. first shock.2. How long does it take? they said 4 hours!!!3. I had to get my tire rotation. They damaged my tire as well wheel. They said this is something was there when you bought the car from other dealer!! I was like I drove my car whole night in rain and you can literally see from the tires the damaged portion is fresh and does not have any dirt like other part of the wheel/tire.Manager Chris denied all the evidence arguments. I told him sir you can check this is fresh damage( I will attach the photo for the viewers as well)but he kept denying.I asked him to show me the process that you do to rotate the tire. when they did before me. I could literally see that the tire rotation was also not fixed. Now I am also doubt about transmission fluid. i may to some other shop to verify??Next after all the evidence manager Chris denied and said i am ready to face legal option.luckily I happened to collect all the evidence by filming the tires and their rotation process.Now I am talking to my lawyer to file a complaint about this process!!!Everyone every penny matters and cars even more because of the payments!!!look at photo
Impeccable service I am out of state and my daughter called me to report that my car was not starting. I immediately went online to schedule service. I have been out of town for an extended amount of time and overdue for service on my 2018 Hyundai.It was extremely easy to set an appointment. I also made a call and spoke to service adviser to explain that I was out of town and that my daughter would be dropping off my car for service. Next I arranged for Hyundai Road Service to have car towed to Huffines.It was seamless and I felt comfortable knowing from previous visits at Huffines that my car would receive excellent service. All went as expected and my car is now current on service and running smoothly. Thank you for outstanding customer service.
My 13 Santa Fe Sport finally fell victim to the engine issues. I love my car, and hope to drive her until the wheels fall off. Shes not as fancy as the newer ones but shes 100% mine! Huffines Hyundai Plano was able to look at, deal with, replace and return my vehicle in about 10 - 11 days, another dealership (that was closer to where I was stranded) told me they wouldnt look at, or talk to me about what happened for that matter, for 10 days. You all are Rockstars.

I had the front part of my car panoramic roof replaced here as it shattered while I was driving. I must say I feel so disappointed with the service. Work was done after about three days, I got in my car and theres shattered glass everywhere. I had to tell them to vacuum the car for me. Even with that, I still find glass around my car and also hear glass sliding around the roof when driving especially making a turn. They really look professional but work like bad mechanics in Africa. I tend to think my age was a reason for the poor job done.

When these people changed engine oil in my new Hyundai Palisade they damaged the hood of the car, made three dents and denied their guilt!!!! It’s horrible!!! I recently experienced a bad visit at Huffines and posted the details. I was very displeased with their service advisor and the service I received. However, after posting my review, I was contacted personally by the GM, Roosevelt May.I was quite surprised by his level of concern as he stated how this was not how he wanted his dealership to reflect to others. He asked that I give him one more chance to earn my business and make things right.He set me up with his service manager, Chris, and he was great. He apologized for the previous experience and also wanted to make sure he could earn my future business. The vehicle needed an alignment and he did it at no charge.I have to admit, it was nice to hear the sincerity and level of concern with regards to how I was treated and how this is not and should never be the norm. I will be bringing my wife’s car back again and if she receives the same care, I’ll give the 5th star. I’m only giving 4 due to the previous visit and hope to make this my dealership of choice, especially for the drive.I cannot thank Mr. May and his team enough for correcting this issue!

I find it so amusing that the multi-point inspection does not by default include the state mandated inspection.We need to explicitly state that, we need state inspection. And pay extra fee for that.But even that too some extent justifiable, however why no one care to inform that your vehicle requires state mandated inspection.Meaning I need to come back with another appointment and spend another hours.Overall very disappointing experience.
While I did get annoyed with the trade in evaluator, my sales representative, Christen Johnson was amazing. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with me through the process. She didnt pressure me or make me feel like I was wasting her time. I would definitely use her again when Im ready for another new car.
Unbelievably poor. We scheduled service and requested a loaner, obviously needing a car on a day in the middle of the week (work, kids in school etc.). On dropping the car off for service they tell us there is no loaner available. How were we supposed to do this? Why was no call/warning given the day before? Keep in mind this was scheduled! I recommend going anywhere else where they actually care about your time. This place couldnt care less
This place is a joke. I will never visit again. I paid to get an oil change for the first 3 years. On my first oil change I was 60.00. I was told this is a time payment. Now Im here for my third oil change. Ive been told now I have to pay for my oil change. The service is only for every other oil change. This would have been nice to know at purchase. I will NEVER visit Huffines Hyundai again. Im in sales, I will never misled a guest.
I purchased a 2020 Palisade Limited from the McKinney store. I love my car except I can not get Huffines to take care of this issue of the fake leather stinking headrests. Yes I have one that has the stinking headrest which I discovered after the purchase. In order to use the car I now park it in the garage with the sunroof open and windows to let the car air out. However the stink is still there but by leaving these item open I can sort of take it when using the vehicle. I gave a 4 rsting reluctantly
Highly recommend getting basic service done elsewhere unless you have hours to burn.Need to work on improving inefficiencies.

Last Saturday, I worked with Tetiana Spiker to purchase my 2021 Sonata, and she provided me with such an outstanding level of professionalism and a great positive attitude. Candidly, I would not expect anything less from this store. Each purchase I have made, I had a specific color and vehicle option preferences, and Huffines Mckinney has always been able to get me what I need at the desired price. I will never purchase a Hyundai or Genesis elsewhere.

I had the absolute BEST experience at Huffines Plano. As a woman, I was weary of looking and shopping for a car, but I worked with Cristina Soto and she was amazing! I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or pushed to buy something I didnt want. They worked with my budget and I got exactly what I wanted FOR my budget. It was absolutely a 5 star experience! If you come here, ask for Cristina!Update: Unfortunately after four months with my Hyundai, someone ran into me, totaling my car. I went back to Huffines to purchase another vehicle and they were just as great. Cristina is no longer with the group, but I worked with Sean Napoles. He was easy to work with and I left again with the exactly same car and another five star experience!
They have one price online and when you get there they have a 4000 dollar markup. Waste of my time.
They certainly dont make a good first impression. Took nearly 10 minutes to answer the phone, was on hold for over 30 minutes, the person who answered the phone said shed transfer me to a service advisor but disconnected me instead. I dont have another 45 minutes to waste on this.
*Update* I am changing from 1 to a 4 stars. The GM contacted me to bring my car back. I took it back in and they fixed my time and splash guard. I can really appreciate when they took accountability and fix the issue. Thank you for taking care of this situation for me.This place is a rip off, not only did the charge us $560 for maintenance ($344.39 was for labor) they damaged my tire and my splash guard. My engine is now making a clicking noise as well. When my boyfriend wanted to bring the car back to fix the tire, they did not offer to pay for it but argued that it probably happen after he left their location. Did I mention that he had to sit there for 4 hours? DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
Before we drove fom Rockwall to Plano, to buy 2 cars for our business, we received an email, with model pictures, from one of their sales people telling us the specifics of what they had in stock. We drove there, with my wife on a knee scooter from recent surgery,, and when we got there they told us they made a mistake and Hyundai would not let them sell the cars. They knew full well, as they admitted later, they lied . They wasted our morning to admit they had no cars we asked for. Their goal was to get us in and sell us something else. Classic bait and switch
Brett and the team of service techs have always given us super service. He communicates well with me and keeps us with the things we need, as the come time. Thank goodness weve have a good warranty, its has saved us. Without the extended warranty theres no way Id ever refer Hyundai. We love coming to Huffines Hyundai, I am just not totally sold on the manufacturer. I do love my 2015 Santa Fe Sport.
We asked that our credit be run and the first offer/price be provided before we come to the dealership. Instead, we were provided with a deal based on assumptions because the manager/sales person never pulled credit. When we arrived, the deal changed slightly, but this is not the issue. Due to COVID-19, we were trying to limit our time with in-person negotiations and wanted the final deal and paperwork completed before we arrived in person. Had the manager run our credit as we initially requested, the time in the dealership and exposed to other personnel and customers would have been even more limited and more safe and comfortable for us. Other than this, our salesman, Tom, was great and we were pleased with the overall experience.
My issue started when shopping for my palisade in June 2020. Brought an offer from another dealer and was told that the other dealer lies and no way that its a real offer. I wanted to buy closer to home so I could service it near where I live. Driving to Dallas for an oil change wasnt what I preferred. Well the original dealer held to their price and I bought the car. Now that I need service Hyundai Plano is not interested. My wife calls to ask about scheduled maintenance and all they want to know is who was your sales person? Finally when my wife asks the service desk, do you want my business? The woman hangs up on her. Guess Ill have to drive down to Dallas after all.The manager has reached out and smoothed things over. Its really hard running a business during covid and I sympathize with his challenges. We will see what happens when we go in for service.

Thanks for all the help in keeping my car running nice. If I could change one thing I would have the sales rep that sells the extended warranty push to get the best and longest warranty package. This way everything is covered on the car for as long as possible. This 2016 Sonata Hybrid has 65k miles and still maintains 40 mpg, and looks great. I choose Huffines Hyundai of plano off Coit because they have a loaner car program and a big service department. I wanted to buy a vehicle from them for this reason, to get a great car buying experience with service you can count on.
Huffines of Plano has to be the most dignified respectful honest, awesome dealership that Ive ever had the pleasure to buy a car from I highly recommend anyone God bless you!

Once my wife decided on the 2021 Palisade, we began our search to find one and we went to Huffines Hyundai Plano to test drive one. We were greeted by Sales Rep Joon Lee who took EXCELLENT care of us from the start. At the time of our initial visit, they did not have the color/trim we wanted, so we just did the test drive and worked with Joon and the staff at Hyundai to get on a list for the model we wanted, due to arrive in June. We really appreciate the great staff and professionalism at Huffines Hyundai Plano. Great Job Joon!!
Ive been on the lookout for the new Hyundai 2022 Limited Tuscon with a gray interior, which have been hard to come by. Joon Lee had kept an eye out for me and reached out when he had a car come in for me to test drive. I came in the next day for a test drive and decided to purchase. Joon was wonderful during the entire process. He knew what I was looking for and showed me a car I would love. He made my entire time there easy and smooth. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to be open and straight forward with me. They were fairly busy that he even prepped the car himself, washed and cleaned it, so I wouldnt have a long wait! I made an appointment online for an oil change. I arrived within 5 minutes of that time; it was very busy. The waiting room could be improved. The chairs are old and torn up. The one chair that was available was facing the wall and another gentleman’s chair. There should either be another tv on that wall or the chairs should be laid out better. There’s a drinking fountain and a vending machine. I did not see a visible sign for the restrooms. I recommend they upgrade to a cooler with free water bottles, free snacks and post a sign for the restroom location. Also the charging station is limited to one spot; there should be charging stations between all of the chairs. I’ve been to other Hyundai dealerships with a better waiting area. I waited longer than I was expected to. The price I payed was as expected. Connor was friendly and went over the multi-point inspection with me. The other staff members including the cashier did not acknowledge me or look at me even throughout checking out, only told me the total while she continued to socialize with other employees.

I had the best experience with the service department at Huffines Hyundai in Plano. I just moved to Dallas and was just blow away with the quality of customer service and professionalism the team showed. The receptionist was very kind in directing my calls and connecting me to the service advisors. JJ was fantastic. He had a great energy and positivity and was able to accommodate my service repair extremely timely given an airbag safety concern. I was impressed that they walked me through the services rendered and suggested future services in a helpful/proactive/non-pressuring fashion. They spent careful time answering my questions and I am so grateful to have a dealership I trust in Dallas.

I just dropped off my car at Plano service center. The service advisor was so disrespectful when asked a simple question. He mentioned about a diagnosis fee for one of the issue I have. All I asked is if they can waive the fee. For which he replied so you are asking me to not pay the technician I was just in shock to hear the way he responded. I was expecting more like yes or no answer. I was totally ok with simple yes or no because few other car dealers waive the fee for old customers (7 to 8 years). Very disappointed with my experience today. Had to call in the manager to raise this issue. If you guys take the customer service seriously act on this behavior. May be train your staff. Will update my review once I receive my car back today.
We have 3 Hyundai over the last 9 years of which we exclusively used the middle seat for our child/baby seat. As suggested by fire department and professionals, to not use the latch but use the actual seat belt and place the child seat in the center seat to provide maximum space from any impact.All previous 2 hyundai had no issue with seat belt where when properly installed, it never gave an cm.Our latest addition 2019 santa fe has consistently gave inches upon inches over time. Could be a day, could be a week etc but to the point I can swing the child seat from side to side with ease. Obviously not the expected behavior.I bought it in explaining the issue. Response was this is expected behavior of the center seat and its expected to give 2-4 inches. and the tech stated to use latch vs seat belt.This is not the expected behavior on any of our other cars of which included 2013 and 2017 sonata nor our other family cars, Ford, Benz etc.Not all car seat have latch system for both front facing and back facing and as stated, its not recommended latch over seat belt.So why dont you do your job properly and replace it? Vs giving some bs excuse. Show me where on yoour technical documentation that states when a middle seat is set for child seat(when the full length of the seat belt is pulled and released slowly, it goes in to lock position where it will only retract and give not a single inch of give). show me where that is normal. This is beyond bs. We had a 20hour road trip the next week going to Canada, and I had to adjust and retighten the seatbelt 3 times on the way there. There is something wrong with this, dont take the easy way out and give me a bs answer and put the safety of my kids at risk. Please have your service manager call me(not service rep who had no clue about child safety seats and function tell me what the tech said).
The vehicles are great, but the service is horrendous. Long story short - we started the purchase process by completing the financial paperwork with signatures and asked several times how we could complete the rest without being in person until the next day. The salesman withheld information about the process to secure the vehicle and then sold that same one the next morning when we had an appointment to come back in the evening. Do not give your time or money to this dealership, they can not be trusted.

I took my old car for an oil change and left with a brand new car. Definitely the shortest transaction Ive ever done buying a car. We had an amazing car salesman, Andy! And Hyundai took care of financing. They are truly a one stop bl. When it comes time to add a second car, this will be my go-to!! Thanks again Andy!

Ive given this service department multiple chances and have finally given up. Ive received nothing but horrible service here. Avoid this place like the plague. Its worth driving to another dealership. The advisors are rude and customer service has been lacking for YEARS. If anyone would like to reach out to me, Id be happy to tell you about the rude voicemail one of your advisors just left me because I didn not schedule an appointment under their name.
