Warning for anyone who visit this area here. Lack of parking space for consumers and not very safe area to park or walk around. I poorly recomend to consumer not to go near this business and used parking across u-haul (Gun pawn shop) they dont get along well with u-haul. My daughter need it to used the restrooms and In less then 5 minutes parked at gun pawnshop the owner call the (1st towing recovering) a very unprofessional angry and hungry!! guy show up up and had my truck ready to towing disrespected me and my daughter demanding me to get off my car if I dont paid him cash money, he was going to grab me and my daughter out of my own car and saying lots of bad words. The sign at gun pawn shop said (no parking over night) it was around 10:00am lots of empty parking space at gun pawnshop. The city should protect local consumers and have more security around here and order to closed those dirty business and help consumers including childrens to live safe here in the beautiful city of orlando near Disney and SeaWorld.
I currently have a small storage unit at this U Haul location. I am very glad that I chose this particular location. First for the proximity to everything and also for a chance to have encountered an easy move in process as well as auto pay, all handled exceptionally well by Alex, the store manager. I am completely 100% recommending this U Haul store for everyone with storage needs !!
Had two U-Boxes delivered here, and rented a Cargo Van from here.When we first wanted to access our boxes, Kyle was extremely helpful and immediately went to the forklift and got them for us. we needed to access them early the next morning to move it into our new apartment and he got out there before 8 am and handled it for us. We felt extremely well taken care of by the kind staff here and if we need it, we will definitely be choosing here again! All of the staff we interacted with were polite (although I did only remember the name of Kyle). Please keep up the good work!
This past Saturday March 27 we called around 1pm to schedule a rental, it was set up for that evening at 7pm and were told to fill out the information online when we got there and it would prompt us to get the keys. Well when we got there and did this it didnt have any other information besides that we have checked in. So we went up to the front and there was an employee already speaking with another customer so we waited for them to finish. Then another employee walks around them and asks us what we were there for. We explained everything showed him the message on my phone and our reservation number. He left for a moment and went inside and came back out to the lock boxes outside the front doors, opened one up and asked us what type of truck we were renting. We let him know what it was and then he went back inside. Came back out to us and told us pretty much that we would have to come back tomorrow and he didnt know. I asked him since I have already checked in and I have given them my credit card if I would be charged for this rental. Instead of saying, well absolutely anything he just walked away from me towards his vehicle. And at the same time the other employee just walked away from the other customer as well. I called out are you serious? Because I couldnt believe someone would just walk away and not try to respond the question at hand. The other customer looked at me and we just stared at each other in disbelief. We both had reservations set up and we were both counting on them that evening. And both of these employees instead locked up and left without so much saying anything or actually providing us with our rentals. We went back the next day to find out the employees names as I didnt catch either of them and to speak with someone regarding this matter. We ended up calling in to the uhaul customer service number instead since they were packed helping other customers. And explained what had happened and the gentleman we spoke with said he would email the manager with all the information and my contact information and that I should hear from him with 2 to 3 days..well it is now Thursday evening and still no word. This to me is showing why these employees are not helping customers properly or at all. People are counting on these rentals..so if you are in need of your rental to be out the day you make your reservation then I suggest other options.
Ive reserved a 15 footer for 3 days. After I returned that truck, I reserved a 10 footer a few days later. My experience was great with both reservations. The guys there were fast and very helpful and both trucks were good. I will definitely go back.
Worst customer service ever! I cannot believe I actually took my friends advice. Their business is hopping so might think about having more than one or two employees in the building at any given time. Walk in business is brisk because it is impossible to get anyone on the phone and the one guy who actually is working is nowhere to be found. If I had the ability to post less than one star I would.Go anywhere but there.Stay away unless you have a day day and money to waste
Vehicle “cleaned” while I waited despite my resv time. Terrible job of cleaning. Dog hair everywhere. On steering column, on floors and seats. Back of rental vehicle reeked of pet urine. When I returned the vehicle to rental location a few hrs later, the attendant did not even reply/respond to my dissatisfaction with the cleanliness. I had to respond to myself, “Well I’m sorry sir. That’s unacceptable and I do apologize for this”, is what I said to him because he was completely ignoring me. “Our blower is broken” is what he finally said to me. After checkout complete a few mins later, no thank you’s given. No apologies. Nothing. Complete negligence of customer service and care. I will not be using U-haul again for my future moving needs. Certainly not this location.
I reserved a 10 size truck weeks in advance, when I showed up I was told the truck was not available, do yourself a favor and do NOT use UHaul, they will ruin your plans.

Terrible service. Long waits. I waited 10 minutes in the office for an employee to show up. The office was completely unstaffed. While I waitedManager was in the parking lot aggressively driving the trucks . the manager Alex would peel out in the truck. Flooring the gas pedal.
Great customer service, these guys go above and beyond to make the experience a breeze. Very helpful and informative.
Extremely rude staff and doesn’t follow COVID protocols
Worst uhaul experience. The staff was extremely unfriendly. Had complications with the move and was going to return the truck. I asked if I could cancel it because the cost were too high I was told by Heather that the remaining days would be subtracted from the final costs. Then when the final bill comes they “well we actually can’t do that.” and make excuses for themselves with no intent to rectify. Even after I had returned the vehicle and paid in full they charged me again the next day. When I asked why she didn’t have an answer. I put a dispute in and they said they would call in 48hrs and never did. When I called them after day 3 they said it would be another 5-6 days. Feels like they just want me to let it go. Lowe’s and homedepot may be a bit more but at least they are honest, competent, and accountable. I will not be dealing with uhaul anymore. I’ll pay premium to know who I’m dealing with.
Highly inefficient, was left alone in lobby >15 minutes just trying to get keys for my rental.
Great staff at this location. Manager is great. They installed a tow hitch and brake controller in my vehicle. Bit more expensive than other locations but the quality of work is extremely high, and it comes with warranties. Very professional and well managed location - tidy and clean. Highly recommend.
This team is fantastic! Shoutout to Andrew the owner for being hands on. The staff is very knowledgeable and they were all willing to lend a hand. Thank you again for making my moving experience a little less stressful :)
Went to U-Haul at 7800 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. 04/07/20 to get a hitch installed. Which is 10mins away from my place. It was a HUGE MISTAKE! They scratch my vehicle and they never admitted it. Make me feel I’m lying they got me waiting for hours and they didn’t get to fixed my vehicle. Wiring issue! They got me going back there 3 times and the issues was never been resolved.I’ve been stressing out for almost 3 weeks never heard a call back or update from this people. GM SHAWN @narcoossee location IS SUCH A BIG LIAR SAYING HE OFFERED ME A REFUND BUT HE NEVER DID!I got fed up with there lack of customer service so I went to another location which is by the way 40 mins away from my place.3500 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806 GM name is ANDREW KHAN! got there and greeted with a smile everyone in that location is helpful and accommodating. They made me feel welcomed. Told Mr. Andrew what’s going on with my vehicle so not only he took care of it right away. he explained the process and how long it would be. Can’t say enough good feedback to Andrew and his team. THANK YOU for accommodating me and treating me with respect.
Fast check-in of equipment at this site! The local polite and friendly rep who received my trailer was great. Just make sure you call U-Hauls national customer service rep for an assigned location before returning their equipment with one-way rentals. U-Haul customer service is against the customer autonomously choosing a return site, (as in, the closest to your destination), without their permission. Perhaps the rental agreement should highlight this if its that important? Nothing but all stars to the local rep!

The guys here work hard and seem to truly care about customer service. Four stars because the team seemed short-staffed, so the wait was a little long. Management, your employees are great but unfortunately one guy at the desk and one truck runner is too few.
Just spoke with Nick to make a reservation, and his professionalism and patience with all my questions was stellar. He was more than helpful and very kind. I havent picked up our rental yet, but if the process is as easy as making the reservation was, then I expect a positive experience.
This location gives the UHAUL CORPORATION a very bad look! Theyre very UNPROFESSIONAL and have NO KNOWLEDGE of whats going on at their property! I currently have items at this location from a recovery truck so my items were stored without my knowledge onceI located my items I PAID THE BILL IN FULL and went to retrieve my items ONLY to find out NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THE KEYS TO THE LOCK which was placed on by UHAUL!! I spoke with Z prior to arriving about the keys and was again told they had the keys there only for me to arrive and NO KEYS!! The other employee there also unaware of ANYTHING!! The General Manager also was contacted to not know anything!! Once I came up with cutting the lock I was forcedout and the panic button was pressed AGAIN THE BILL IS PAID IN FULL
WORST BUSINESS EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE WITH ANY FIRM OR ORGANIZATION.Clueless crew and a branch manager who cant care less. I wont list paragraphs but I will follow up with a BBB complain number.For all those who are curious, heres a quick glimpse:1-Lost my U-haul box and sent me to several locations when they had it in the warehouse but it was never checked in. Sure thing they never physically checked in until another branch manager told them to do so over the phone.2-Took the box and they never checked it out.3-they never gave me a receipt nor sent me an email with a receipt as promised.4-After I returned it, Im still getting charged as it has to be on autopay. $99.99 monthly5-Customer service cant fix it.6-Branch manager doesnt call after I left few messages.7-Corporate doesnt respond to complains.Too many mistakes to list....
If you know how to rent a truck and move the furniture yourself you will have no problems. If you dont please call Orlando movers. You will be happy and save 💰
The service here was the bright spot in our move! We had a rough move, and a lot went wrong. Even though we arrived at UHaul ten minutes to close, Dean and Shaquille were the kindest, most considerate employees ever. They made sure we had everything we needed before we left. Dean took great time and care to make sure we got set up with our storage unit and checked in our equipment, and it made the end of a very long move so much better. I highly recommend this facility, especially these two employees. Great service and with a smile! Thank you!!

Rented a small utility trailer. I didnt have to get insurance like other reviewers mentioned. Also I was pleasantly surprised as to how quickly they got me in and out. Fast service, and great price. Ill be back for sure.
First time using U-Haul. Wasnt warned about replacing the fuel I used or the $30+ penalty if I didnt. What wouldve been a $50-$55 rental turned into a $124 rental. Its on the contract you sign, so read the fine print and watch out.
Worst experience. Reserved a truck on the phone with this place and they instructed me to download the app and finish the confirmation instructions in order to get the truck on time and obtain a code to open the lockbox. Finished everything and even got a confirmation email that I had reserved it correctly. Never got a code. Even told the woman working at this location and she said word for word “you’re not getting anything until you get a code” and then walked away and left us outside. She was holding the key in her hands and refused to give it to us even though we showed her all the proof that we had reserved it and paid for it. She then locked up and left for the day and left us stranded with no help whatsoever. We were stuck there for almost 2 hours stuck on the phone with customer service until they finally gave us a code. All took place on Christmas Eve.
Last moment move. I am greatfull for the 20 years experience without unprofessional attitudes. Quick Service. Clean vehicle. Honesty. Upon our move Id experience my ailments with my arms and legs prevent me from moving anything. End up extending one day along with miles combined 2 trips. $96 for two days are exceptional with $14 fuel refill THANK YOU Amanda for assisting us as uhaul customers with unexpected urgencies along with patience. Bless YOU!
I was given a trailer this morning and you would think such a reputable company everything would be up to part, it wasnt until loading my vehicle onto one of their trailers do we notice it is unsafe, ripped straps, broken ramps, unsecured equipment overall. I was told a third party would be coming in an hour... Possibly. No contact information for them, just us stuck waiting clueless. Bad customer service when I called Uhaul asking for the information of that company. They did not have on file, and started to be sarcastic over the phone with out help or proper direction. Andrew needs to be put to work taping boxes.

They are always friendly and efficient, most of the time they bend over backwards to make sure you have the right equipment and tools for your moving needs.

Wow I recently rented a truck from this location and although the truck was readily available, it broke down on me and they were extremely rude when asking me to return it. I mean the voicemails were ridiculous the guy definitely needed some to chew some ORBIT!!
Double the price for propane. From where i normally buy it. They charged me almost $7. For 5 dollars of gas which is what i asked for . awhen bringing this to the CLERKS attn. He was politely responded with an attitude .

Went to this location to purchase some moving boxes. I needed some in a specific size and when I asked if they had any in this size she threw her arms up in the air and said I dunno. I explained that they are listed on line, then asked if she could please check if they may have some in another local store but she would not. I then asked if I could order them on line and she said I dunno how to check that on line. Needless to say, I did not purchase anything from this location and will never go back there. BTW, while I was there someone was renting a truck and didnt want extra insurance but she pretty much pressured them into buying it. Very misleading tactics.
Rented a truck from here forgot to check the mileage when I pick up the truck. I didnt even really use the truck it sat up all night. I bring the truck back the lady comes out the door with no shoes on. Then tells me I drove 20 miles when my house is only 3 miles tops from this location. If you do rent from here make sure you check the miles before you leave. These people are crooks I wouldnt recommend anyone getting ripped off my these people.

Rented a 26 foot truck for one day. Friendly staff. The price was great. The truck, however, was about 25 years old, had problems starting, and leaked in a few places. Our mattress, dresser, and some other furniture got wet.
THE SO CALLED MANAGER IS A COMPLETE IDIOT! GOOD LUCK WITH THIS LOCATION ....There is some reason that the upper level management do not stay at this location long. NO ONE has a clue.
When I go to make a quick move this is who I go to their the best.
Over charge me, $25 cleaning fee and gas. Be careful worse Uhaul lication ever. Im not using Uhaul anymore.

Walked out wouldnt let me rent a truck without buying insurance. Bad enough they put a bag of bags and a hand truck they i dint need in the back to get in the way, and if you move them you get charged. So to now rent a truck from this location to move a few things 3 blocks should of cost me $20 + mileage, would of cost me $20 + Mileage + $14 insurance + $10 for blankets i didnt need. I went from a liitle over $20 to a base of $44 plus milage. Buying insurance should be an option like the other locations. BAD GM must want to raise his bottom line.
Had the equipment that we needed. They processed the request very quick.
Reservation confirmed for 3pm. Called 5 times the day of to see if the truck was available. Was told they would call us back-never did. On the 6th call we were told the vehicle was scheduled to be available at 4:15pm. Apparently they couldnt tell us this information prior to 3pm.

Scam This location will not let you rent a truck unless you buy extra insurance. I had to call corporate because the GM is trying to make you pay for insurance. You have the right to deny the extra fee.
