Moving is always stressful, but from start to finish my experience was wonderful!Kyle set the tone when I initially called for the reservation, he was thorough and patient with all of my questions and various plans (a,b,c,d and e!). I came in the store to look at the truck and worked with Victor. What another great experience! He was knowledgeable,professional and also friendly!Lastly, Shawn, the manager of the store. I must say, he knows how to pick a winning team!! My interaction with him was also great! He was able to help me make some decisions as well. I literally had no issues from start to finish.The location has so many trucks and clean, easily accessible.Keep up the great work!
People work here very rude and never respect you. Their truck driver made a wide turn without turning his signals on. The road was one side only and I was driving way far from him, but I didn’t notice he was turning right without his signal on!! I had to hardly stop my car and I had three kids in my car with two on carseats!! Go figure.I stopped to speaking with them, the asked me to leave or they will call the police!!
Most of the Uhaul places Ive been to are really sketchy. This place was actually really nice. Kyle was helpful getting our truck and supplies on a last moments notice.The only thing that wouldve been nice is better directions on where to drop off the keys. We wasted some time in the AM hours when the office was closed looking for the small slit in the door.
I rented a 5x8 trailer last minute along with a rental SUV to take my fiancée and newborn clear across the country after finding out last minute that our Motorhome wasn’t going to be ready. Finding solutions to get my family and our things back to Oregon from Florida,I stopped by this location and was greeted very respectively by sales associate Juan. Juan’s positive demeanor, natural conversation tone that kept me feeling calm and easy to talk to helped my transition into this move a little less stressful.I left the dealership feeling optimistic. I later that day found out my Motorhome was ready and could be driven, after paying my $500 for the trailer. I called back to this uhaul, explained my situation to Juan; he explained the circumstances to their on site manager, and they had no issues or quarrel with issuing me a refund.These are honest and hardworking guys at this store; they had other staff members there while I was returning my equipment and getting my refund that were generous and helped me feel confident about receiving my refund, without me asking.Highly recommend this store! It’s a huge location, very large inventory, right off the highway not far from the airport!

The lady took care of me very well, she had the line, the phones and myself. She also mentioned she has been working there for 2 weeks..well very nice. They are still people out there that like to work hard. And those are the ones should be promoted quick and good.
If you need a hitch, go somewhere else. Ordered one three days ahead of time. When the appointment came we were there for the installation and was informed the piece hasn’t arrived yet. We called the next day and the hitch was only available at a different location. Went to pickup the hitch in the other location and called them again to see what time they could install and the answer was “we don’t have anyone available for the installation”. All of that circle while having the whole family waiting to go on a road trip. We get that problems arise, specially in Covid-19 times but the way this location and specifically the attendant by the name Mary chose to handle it is unbelievable. She was careless and arrogant on the phone and made it sound she had no sympathy with my family’s situation. In times of ultra high Unemployment rates and people helping each other, it is unbearable to be treated like that. I hope U-Haul reviews its hiring policies and reinforces training so its people can at least pretend they care about customers. By the way, no one at this location was wearing masks as required.

Recently rented a U Box. Was given a bag with moving blankets soaked with human urine. Was told all blankets had to go in the box & returned to my drop off location or Id be charged $7 for every missing blanket. Thankfully my drop off location was more helpful with the situation as I passed of the soiled blankets (yes I still had to wrap my stuff in the blankets). The Lake Nona store also didnt return my calls and contacted me much later than stated in the contract when confirming my order. I would not recommend using this location.

Dont use Uhaul!!!! I set up a truck rental online for a one way trip and ended up getting charged double at the point of drop off because their employee entered something wrong when I picked the truck up. Let me save you some time on calling corporate to have things straightened out because they will just send you a message that someone will contact you within 72 hours but surprise they wont. Price gouging and poor service is all you get. Next call is Better Business Bureau.
Upon moving to Texas from Florida with UBOX we were faced with challenges in picking up the box. Mary and Magan were able to reach a solution in a short amount of time. Made our lives a lot less stressful. Amazing customer service!!!

I should have listened to the other reviews. Reserved the truck two days ago. Called and confirmed with the store. Less then 12 hours before my rental they call to tell me I have to drive 50 miles to pick up a truck. Very unprofessional and unapologetic. Go somewhere else

I went visited this place 04/07/20 3pm to get a towing hitch installed. It took 2 hrs of waiting and the agent (Megan) told me that I need to come back tomorrow because there is an issue on the wiring that she can’t figure out.As soon as I get in my vehicle the inside smells cigarette. So I just air it out and figure that I’ll just call them to let them know because I’m in a hurry So I drove off without checking my vehicle in detailed because I’m running late to get to the bank. After the appt at the bank at the parking lot I inspected the work that has been done to my vehicle and I found out a lot of scratches on my rear bumper so I swing By there office to show the new scratches and I explained that I know it is new scratches coz I wash my own car so every scratches and blemishes on the vehicle I know. She told me that the GM Shawn carvana will be in and just let him know. The next day I went back and told him the major issue which my vehicle smells cigarette and there are a lot of new scratches and that I’m not looking for any monetary discount just want to let them know how bad my experience was but instead of getting an apology from there general manager he just told me excuses and makes me feel like I’m lying so I told him that well I guess just fix my vehicle and get me on the road because at this point I’m just wasting my time and your time.After a good hr he told me that he doesn’t have the right wiring so he needs to order one and it should be here 3 to 5 days. The 13th of April I called to check on the update GM Shawn told me it should be here on the 16th. I ask him to please update me on the 16th. Never heard anything from him so I decided to give them a call on the 18th and nobody pick up on that location after a few calls and trying I’ve reach the customer service and told me that she would left a message in Shawn phone to give me a call back. Yup you guess right never got any form of message from him or his staff. So I decided to call again the 20th and nobody answered at there location and my call got forwarded to customer care which is same thing they will leave a VM on his phone.I feel like they’re just giving me a hard time in that location because of the feedback I expressed. I decided to swingby to get an update. Talk to an agent and ask her about the wiring if it came in yet? And she told me she was about to call me to tell me that my wiring is in already. I asked her when did it arrived? She told me just this morning. I told the agent “wow thats pretty convenient I showed up and the wiring arrived” so I just told her to just please fix the car already because this is a waste of time already. I started 04/07/2020 and it’s 04/21/20 it’s been 2 weeks handling this issue. Then the lady at the counter just put the most sarcastic laugh so I ask her if she thinks my situation is funny!? She just told me to just come back tomorrow and Shawn the GM will handle it.I went back the next day 04/22/2020 1030am and Shawn started working in my car and after an hr or so he told me that he doesn’t know why the wiring is not working. He gave me 2 options. The first one he said he can hard wire the car. Which i don’t feel like the best option. And the second option he gave me I can just go home do my research and fix it myself and if I figure it out his all ears on how I fix it. That is just 2 options that is dumb! I will definitely post this review on every social media that I can get my hands on!This is just crazy I got the worst customer service experienced! Made me feel I’m not welcome in that location at all. I spent money to be disrespected and get disappointed and to top it all wiring was not working at all.

My wife and I booked ahead 2 weeks online and was sent a confirmation saying a truck will be ready for us. We were moving on our only day off and had a whole crew organized to help with the move (family and friends) Upon arrival the General Manager told us that we did not have a truck reserved and told us he didn’t see it in the system. After us showing him proof, he stumbled his words and tried to spin it saying that there was something wrong with the computer system. After much word salad and disappointment he told us he would reserve a truck for us at the N Goldenrod location. So my wife and I left and went there, only for them to not have any truck available for days. A truly unprofessional experience and frustrating. We had to go to the vastly superior neighborhood Uhaul dealer off of S Golden rod. Won’t ever give this General manager our business.
Manager and his staff very rude and inconsiderate. Hung up on my wife after taking unauthorized payment. Had to call corporate customer service and file a complaint to get matters resolved! Will never use haul again!!!
This location is huge, Great Customer Service, the only thing that i realize they dont have enough dollies, the ones that are flat shape ! Hope in the future the dollies used for warehouse could be accessible to rest of the customers .
