My move was awesome and seamless. Jeff and his team were knowledgeable, respectful, and efficient. I would definitely hire them again. I was recommended by my new employer who also seems to receive a discount and although it is hard to reach my rep, they are always professional. However, the pricing is absurd, even when against comparable competitors. Due the lack of housing in my market, I require storage. It would cost a bit over $4500 for the 30 day storage process. the next options is to drop off at a mini storage, which would be over $2K over than delivering to a home. None of these options include reassembly of furniture as it would all go to storage. I would recommend everyone to seek additional pricing options that are fair, yet competitive.

Did a walk through of my brothers house and said everything was good to go. Then right before Christmas, Ann Marie didnt even step foot in the house and bailed on my brother on site with ZERO explanation. I had to fly down just to help him move in order to get him to his new job on time. Do NOT use this company! EDIT: They did not come in the house so the response from the owner does not make since, they bailed without entering the house. And we didnt decide to move ourselves we were forced when they left with no explanation 2 days before Christmas. This was easily doable for a moving company and we were able to get it done in 2-3 days without professional help.

We recently made a long distance move from Florida to Ohio.After a HORRIFIC, NIGHTMARE moving experience in 2017-2018 (many, many lost boxes and missing items (never to be found) and much damage to our furniture while in storage) with another national company, we were quite reluctant to hire another moving company. We interviewed and received estimates from three companies. We chose Hilldrup Moving and Storage out of Orlando, Florida. They were not the most expensive nor the least expensive of the estimates. Everything just felt right.Rick came out to our home for the estimate. He was completely professional, so very thorough in assessing the items, weight and cubic feet for be inventory, explained the process, and answered all our questions to complete satisfaction.Our Coordinator Bobbi was fantastic. She really did coordinate the move. I called her several times and she actually was there to answer questions. She called us several times before, during the pickup, in transit, while the furniture was being unloaded and after the job was completed. It was a good feeling knowing she was watching over our move.Chris, the Driver/Mover was phenomenal. A true Professional Mover. He arrived on time at both ends of the move. He really cared about our possessions.. He was extremely efficient. He was personable. He and his Assistants, Manny and Orlando, took great care in wrapping, handling, and obviously loading our furniture and boxes because when the truck arrived in Ohio there was absolutely not one bit of damage to anything whatsoever.
