They have outdoor dining, and indoor dining, plenty of space to respectfully social distance, and enjoy your meal.The food is cooked to order, the music, and ambience is great. My dining experience was so wonderful, I really did not want to leave.If your not interested in breakfast. Excellent service, quick turn around, affordable and of course delicious food. They were accommodating of a group of 10 on a Sunday morning and our server didnt mess up a single order. Plenty of coffee refills, good food and a relaxed environment made for a great Sunday morning. Would certainly recommend!

Came in for breakfast, was seated fairly quickly. The food was really good and the service was great, we got our food really fast. I would recommend this place for a casual lunch, if you have a group they do have booths inside otherwise the tables are a bit small. But perfect for two.

I grew up in nj so i really love a good diner. This corner location has one of the better reputations and ive been waiting to go here for a bit to try it out. Probably not my favorite. Its got that nyc diner feel to it. Kinda rushed food. Tight fit. The goal is to make the food on the menu and turnover the table for the next person. I didnt try the pancakes but the waffles were better than the french toast, but tbh i cant see why id want to go here to order that waffle instead of making it at home. Maybe theres a different reason this place is popular - i live close by so ill likely try again and give it a fresh take next time.

Restaurant takes advantage of being the only 24 hour eatery in the area with overpriced food. recently lost our friends debit card after we had paid for our meal and given a generous tip.They promised to void the transaction to make up for the mistake but ended up not doing it. Would only visit for breakfast because other than that this place isn’t worth the headache or prices

Great diner food. I had a sausage egg and cheese croissant with home fries. I also had the blueberry muffin, which was great.

Food was good but nothing special. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Took a while to get our order. Then to bring drinks. And food came out slowly. Not sure what the delays were about as it wasnt busy. But again everyone was very friendly and the food was decent and not ridiculously priced.

Wow this diner was incredible. The service was very pleasant -- probably the most polite folks Ive seen in New York, and New York has a lot of polite folks. It was clean and welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating with a great temperature indoors. I was able to scan a qr code to look at the menu and did not wait long for my food, which was delicious and satisfying.

I used to eat here multiple times a week as I live across the street. Not anymore. Today, my cheeseburger delux came with overcooked, soggy fries. For $4.50 extra you’d expect fresh fries. I sent them back. Two minutes later the guy comes back with the same fries which were dunked in the hot grease. I grew up in a diner. I’m not stupid. The cook should be fired. They lost a regular neighborhood customer.

My life was forever changed the first time I ordered a late night patty melt. Now no evening of drinking is complete without it. The breakfast sandwich on a bagel is equally fantastic.

My first time to celebrate my friends birthday. Food was great, ambiance was nice n last but not least the waiter who served us was very pleasant. Will definitely come again.

Ordered delivery and it was absolutely delicious. I got a quinoa bowl, it was fairly priced, and look how big the container is! Was able to share, and I am so happy with this order. I will definitely be ordering again soon!

Dirty Dirty Dirty!Hair on table and floors. Place looks like they don’t sweep properly during closing time. Bathroom facilities filthy as well. Way too many waiters tending to just one table which can be quite confusing as too who to wait on. I don’t even think they filter the water. Gross. And the staff that has been replaced by the old staff are either weird, not friendly or you could barely make out what they are saying. Don’t know theMenu. The assistant manager needs to work on his communication and listening skills. I probably won’t return here anymore unless my son has to use the bathroom or for their French toast. Other than that after being a loyal customer for more than 25yrs I’m totally done with this overpriced filthy diner.

Its your run of the mill diner. The food is good value for its price, and the service was good. Its not the most fancy place in the world nor is everything in the menu that great, but itll scratch that diner itch especially in the UES.

My FAVORITE diner when I come to NYC. Ill usually stumble in late night after a few cocktails, but service is always expedient, and what you order is the best version of what youll get. I usually sit by the window alone, and watch the East Side pass by. My favorite is the burger and fries. Plan on going for brunch moment with friends when I get in town for FW and I am so excited!

This is a fine diner in NYC. The food and prices are average, and the location is pretty good. Its always a nice time but its not necessarily my favorite place in the city or anything.

Good food at a good price, as Obama would say. They have some great dishes but sometimes are off. We ordered a steak medium rare but it can medium well, for example. Generally, its a solid spot for a meal.

Let me tell you I normally don’t give reviews but I love this place it’s truly a staple in my life, their penne a la vodka tastes as if it’s made in Italy, not your typical diner food. I usually order pasta in the middle of the night to cure my depression/ insomnia and after trying a few other places I’m happier ordering from these guys. :)

Cheeseburger Deluxe and a camomile tea, $22.00 with the tip. Service is OK but the food tasted fresh, they were very light on the bacon it was just like two folded peices. The hamburger bun was on point though, overall when options are limited this is a good choice.

Stopped here for brunch. Was served a blueberry muffin that had a brown bug about 1 inch large baked into it. Thank god I happened to eat the muffin with a fork as to catch that inside and not just bite into it. They refunded me when I showed them, but I am still repulsed that happened with their food. Would never go back or recommend this place.

Nice ambience. No patio seating but plenty of seating inside. Friendly staff. Service was quick. I had eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes and Huevos Rancheros. Bacon was high quality. Eggs were perfect. Huevos Rancheros were tasty and prepared well. Drink refills are not free.

I ordered a very basic sandwich, bacon lettuce tomato. I received very very little bacon and cheap, dated, bad lettuce! The pickles and coleslaw were also not good at all. When I went to complain to the manager constructively he became irate and angry at me. Their prices are quite high also for bad food.My first and last visit to this bad greasy spoon!

I went to the diner at 5:48am on a Friday, and was told that they don’t open until 6. They are supposed to be 24hrs. The man behind the bar told me I have to wait until 6. I asked if I could sit, and he said only for takeout. Then he said I have to wait until 6:30. Then it seemed like he didn’t want to work. He said he can’t have people in there in case the police check on him. I hope this review costs them a customer. That man shouldn’t be at work if he doesn’t want to work. I called Gracie’s Corner Diner a few blocks down, and they were open.

Its 24-hour diner comes in handy. Two three in the morning I crave for a burger. I my favorite burger is the Midnight Express deluxe. I substitute the fries with the onion rings. Yum!

Okay this place is really legit! They have a huge menu and are open 24 HOURS A DAY! Plus they play awesome music I felt like I was back in ATL. What more do you want?? I ordered the salmon burger with sweet potato fries and a chocolate shake which was on the price fixed menu. They have lots of specials like that. It was very good and I loved their fries! My friend got the turkey burger and regular fries and raves about that as well. Will be back again!

I had the Geeek salad. Filed with feta and olives and tomatoes and three tomatoes and more. Very good. Service was good not great but for lunch it was a good place to go. ~Steve Sapato is the most famous unfamous speaker in America

This restaurant shows up on Uber eats as the burger joint. I found out after my food was delivered that it was this restaurant. My burger was cooked medium well as I wanted it but, what I ordered was the jack Daniels burger. There was nothing representative of Jack Daniels sauce or taste in my burger. The waffle fries were delicious. I went to this restaurant many years ago and since it has changed management many times, not so much. My suggestion is, if you order from Uber eats, double check the address before ordering. I wouldnt have ordered have ordered had I known it was from Midnight Express.

A decent diner experience on the UES. The New York wrap (grilled chicken and bacon with lettuce and tomatoes) was piping hot and delicious. Friend got a bunch of wings they too were hot and delicious. Only problem, what kind of diner doesnt have Matzoh Ball soup??

At 8am on 3/3/2019 I arrived at midnight Express with my husband and sister.we were seated in the booth next to the kitchen. I am a chef that kitchen was disgusting. But we waited and waited finally at 8:36am the waiter came to take our order. I ordered chicken and waffle. They came out with this old refried chicken and tried to serve it to the chef🛑🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️never again.

Had to show ID to finally get a simple slice of cheesecake, even though the bag was sitting there with my name on it. No thanks.

OMG the French onion soup is as good as any fancy a French restaurant! Yum! And I am super picky. This place is a LOT less expensive than other neighborhood diners that are not as good. Fast delivery, too. And when everything else is closing at 9:00 pm during the pandemic, they are staying open for 24 hours.

A place to go back once you discover it. Excellent american breakfasts and courteous waiters. Worth a try if you dont know it.

Great atmosphere. Great staff. Warm outdoor seating and floor to ceiling windows to people watch with outdoor dining. I simply do not recommend the food we ordered. With was a BLT & the bagel benedict. Benedict was pretty flavorless and bland. BLT was light on bacon and tomato. It felt like the people who decided on recipes dont really like food. So sad because staff was amazing but i will not return. Btw I did not complain to staff when they asked how we were because i didnt think this was a problem they could fix.

The waffles are awesome. Cozy and good food. I used to go to Gracies Diner on 86th street but I stopped going because one of the staff members there got cheeky with me. This Diner its clean spacious and delivers good hot food.
