Ate here for breakfast. Restaurant was busy for a weekday but we were able to be seated right away. There is outdoor seating available. Service was good and fast; my omelette was good as well. The potatoes / home fries were rather dull and plain tasting; there was no peppers or onions to spice it up. Overall a good dining choice and I am glad that I ate here.
Nice food.. good quick lunch.. clean. Love the wraps
Excellent service, great variety. The turkey sandwich and an egg cream was terrific
We are not from New York..We was just visiting..We saw this restaurant while we was site seeing..Naida was so,so Wonderful..She is the type of Waitress that a Customer wants to get..Her personality is Wonderful!!!...So if anyone views my comment. and decides to go to NY..Stop by there to this restaurant, so that you can get the Chance to meet her..You too will enjoy her Warm Treatment...The Owners made a Great Choice in Hiring her!!.
We ate here every morning while visiting NYC. They have a great menu with lots of choices. Friendly, bilingual servers. Good food and quick, efficient service. Indoor or outside seating.
The staff was attentive from beginning to end. Luis was a great waiter, and our 4 generation outing was highlighted by awesome comfort food, a nostalgic egg cream soda, and great service. Thank you!
Omelettes are good. service is prompt and attentive
Amazing food, but I got a really rude waitress.
This restaurant has amazing food! The best part is that the prices are very reasonable. The server was really attentive too.
Very good food, service was a little slow
Great place recommended by consierge at the Millennium Hotel. Had brunch on our anniversary. Great food and service.
Good service, way more steak then I was expecting which was great and made right. Got a freshly squeezed orange juice too. Great way to start a day in NYC.
Great place to eat staff was super supportive Great food the grits were awesome
Above average dinerfood and I found it in Midtown Manhattan! The service is excellent, the wait staff is jovial, quick, and knowledgeable.
Decent spot in midtown. This place over the weekend was not overly busy. Food was decent, service was great.
Perfect place for a nice meal. It a very comfortable and affordable place to eat in midtown.
Wonderful diner. Very good location and good food.It is NOT a gourmet food, but good quality, fair price
Super friendly and cooperative environment. The place is bright and has an immaculate look to it. My waitress, Valerie, made me feel as if I were home! The food was delicious. One of the best Matzoh Ball Soups Ive ever had and the burger was Juicy!
Great breakfast diner. Fast service and good food
Traditional diner stuck out of place in midtown. Exactly what you would expect quick diner food, l just not at diner prices.
Excellent breakfast place in NYC. Fast service. Huge menu and they are flexible, can alter dishes to your liking. Pancakes were great. We kept coming back for breakfast every day during our visit.
Good service, good quality food, at a decent price. Not upscale, but solid, quality food with a good portion size. Nothing exotic, just standard diner food for when youre in the mood.
I just had dinner at the Red Grill. I ordered a medium rare burger but was served a burnt hamburger that resembled a used fire log. The waiter disappeared for 15 minutes after he dropped the food off at the table. When he finally returned, I showed him the charred food. He gave me a check with no adjustment for the burnt cinder burger. I spoke to the cashier who also did nothing to adjust the check.Avoid this place with its bad food and worse service.
Outstanding food, service and price. They also deliver. Their breakfast is worth its weight in gold. Great location with Grand Central terminal, Saint Patrick, Times Square, Rockefeller plaza all nearby. Macys hearld square and Saks Fifth Ave and the shopping along 5th Ave and 57th Street is also within walking distance.
An honest diner, close to Times Square. Good service, good food varied choices. Corned Beef especially tasty.
Hey this place wasnt fancy and foods were just ok. But the warmth of this place got it a 4. The lone server was nice and polite. He recommended the bison burger which was good. Water was flowing as he was attentive. Toilet was super clean. The menu was big so remember to look both sides!
Customer service was AWESOME! I have a very picky and particular eater so feeding him can be challenging sometimes. The Red Flame was a hit as he loved everything including the hot chocolate! Thank you to the very patient take out waitress (sorry we didnt get your name).
They are friendly and prompt. They food is good and the prices are competitive. We always look forward to eating here.
Positively mediocre. That’s all that needs to be said.
Best place for breakfast in midtown. Fast paced, guy said to us you eatin or talkin? Absolute class servers, fresh snap, sat down and thought this’ll work. It sure did
A great diner with your typically diner selections. Always busy for breakfast. Great staff move quickly and are friendly. I have stopped in many times and have not been disappointed. If it looks crowed check the wait time. It’s usually not that long. Reasonable prices and a great location in midtown. A perfect alternative to the nearby hotel’s expensive room service.
Quick service - but food was only so so
The food is good for the price. The employees are better than the food.
Service is good and a wide variety of food in their menu, prices are affordable
Nice diner in the middle of NYC. Standard diner fare. Good service. Wish coffee was in a mug and more in amount. Cups dont do justice to your morning cuppa joe.
Five stars with meal ticket from Iroquois. standard American fare and portions big enough to fill you up!
Great place for breakfast... Very good staff...
This place is incredible. I always get it delivered to my office for lunch. Roast Beef Club sandwiches and Cinnamon Raisin French Toast (with Canadian bacon!) are my go to orders.
Worst and coincidentally the most expensive omelet Ive ever had. Our food tasted like it has been cooked and placed under a luke-warn heat lamp for hours.
Decent coffee, very delicious chocolate chip pancakes, bacon...YUM! Will definitely visit again!!!
Amazing service, nice wait staff, and amazing food
Simple place for breakfast and lunch reasonable prices and a good service
Good place for a quick sit down and bite to eat.
A great solid deli.
Lovely place to eat. The environment is very welcoming and airy. We got some pancakes and french toast, and Ive got to say it was a pleasant suprise. Would reccomend to anyone lookingnfor a filling meal.
Nice place good food and good prices
Great place..best home fries in town!
Food is always great John is always pleasant for a boss he serves you with a smile
Top Manhattan diner, α must visit for all diner fans in New York city. Also great spot for tourists visiting Manhattan.
Food qaa ok, pretty cheap with the eggs.
Good breakfast and service.
Good dining option near Times Square.
Nice Place great service good fotos !!
The food had no flavor. I wouldn’t eat there again if it was free.
Fast service, delicious omelette
Nice place to grab breakfast servers were courteous and attentive.
I’ve been here twice. The first time was quite busy but we only had to wait 5 minutes. The second time there were many available seats. The second time I ordered the Tuna Melt, New England Clam Chowder and ice cream. The Tuna Melt was tasty. I’ve had better chowder. Ice Cream almost tasted homemade and was lovely. Staff could have been a bit more attentive but no complaints about their service. It’s a great place to grab a bite and see a show.
A little pricy but good in a pinch
Love the menu, for all tastes, coffee is ok.
Average diner food. Nice enough staff.
Food was pretty good. Nothing special. Its diner food. Well go again next time we go up there because its a safe place to eat without getting sick.
Very good food, service, and atmosphere. Pleasant restaurant to stop buy and have a meal. Cheesecake is the best ive had in NYC. I visit here every time Im in Manhattan.
A bit expensive for the quality but it is a good place to stop and eat if youre in a hurry of food 😋
From the second I walked in I felt rushed. The waitress kept asking me if Im ready to order. Yes you want to make sure youre there but it felt like she wanted us in and out. Its not like they are busy. The second I finished my food she brought the check without me asking for it, it made me feel like she was telling me to pay and leave. Will not come back here.
Been coming here for years and glad they finally had the outdoor and inside dinning. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Food here is always delicious 😋
Ive been going to the red flame for years (since the90s).. its a great diner in the city! Fast service and great food!
This place is really good for a diner style restaurant. The service is super fast no matter the size of the party and the people are excellent. They recently opened upstairs and that is great if you want to have a little quieter ambiance. For us it is right across the street and best option. The best part is that the portion size is about right for the price.
Great diner experience.
I have eaten here probably 15-20 times over the past few years on my frequent business trips to NYC. This is my favorite diner in NYC. Clean, well lit and the food arrives quickly and always delivers. I have spent decades sampling turkey club sandwiches at diners and this one is at or close to the top of the my list. Fries are always fresh and hot, and omelettes are superb. But one of my favorite aspects of eating here is to sit at the counter and observe the owner’s relationship with all of his staff. This is a manager par excellence who clearly has a rapport with and the respect of everyone on his team. It is great to see this kind of attention to detail and positive environment in a service establishment. Keep it up George!
