New car purchase, decided to try a new shop since my last shop has declined in service. First impression great communication & willingness to listen to the customer. I have been service writing for 2 decades & will say if you want great customer service & care for the customer along with their safety in the vehicle please consider the extra cost for Dakota Ridge Auto. Well worth it!

I had taken my car into a regional chain for some work and it left worse than when I brought it in. I called Dakota Ridge Auto and they were able to get me in quickly. They were open and honest about the issues and walked me through the recommended work. My car is driving better now than it has in the past year. Plus theyre a local company so my money is staying in my community.

My vehicle was in to have its front struts replaced. They were brand new and in sealed boxes shipped directly from the manufacturer. A few thousand miles later I noticed rattling from the vehicle but did not think it was coming from the front struts so I took it over to another shop to have it diagnosed. No defects were found other than the fact that they were not properly installed and the bolts came loose. As soon as my car was picked up I had called Dakota Ridge to let them know of the issue and they wanted me to bring the vehicle in right away. Instead of offering a resolution they just dismissed the concern and said that the struts were defective. As a result of my credit card dispute I was contacted by phone at (7:20AM). I responded to the confrontational voice mail by writing a very neutral and polite Email with the reason for the dispute. If this shop would have done the right thing instead of stating that I was wrong, failed to communicate and that my claim was false this review would not be here. Because of my rational attempts to resolve this matter I was then unwelcomed from their shop.

My first visit (Oil change and check list). People, service and price were all excellent. I give Five Stars on everything.

I took my vehicle here to have some issues diagnosed and repaired. The problem was quickly diagnosed and my options were clearly presented to me. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and I took my vehicle home. On the drive home it was clear there were still issues. I called them back and they advised me of some possible issues that may work themselves out because of the fuel system cleaning that had been performed. The problem was worse the next day so I took the vehicle back. Upon inspection there was a manufacturer defect in some of the parts that were replaced, so these parts were again swapped out under warranty. This shop was professional throughout the process and was always responsive. Things arent always perfect, but this business will work to make it so. I will be back for my vehicle maintenance and repairs.

By far the BEST experience I’ve had dealing with car maintenance. The diagnostic to your car includes photos and videos of anything they recommend fixing. TJ had especially great customer service and walked me through any questions I had about suggested replacements. I recommend Dakota Ridge Auto body to anyone and everyone!

I know when I take a car there for small things (check engine lights, brakes, etc) or large things (transmissions) that I’m given options and great care. I appreciate them going through the car and inspecting other items during the process. They communicate very well and are generally helpful.At other shops I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. The pick up and drop off is useful too. When I take a car there, I trust that the repair is going to be done correctly and quickly. Our employees also take their personal cars there.

My check engine light came on so I took it in because of recommendations from old co-workers and I was extremely satisfied. They had everything fixed within 5 hours of me dropping the car off. They did a full inspection and let me know about other work that should be done, some of it was a little highly priced but seeing that you get a warranty with it ( I think 4 years or 50k miles) it seems pretty fair. Overall it was a great value and I will definitely be returning for any future repairs I need!

I was on my way to work this morning and my engine started overheating. I had just had service done at the dealership the day prior. I ended up pulling into Dakota Ridge Auto. I explained the situation and asked if they could help me out. They were very helpful and looked at my vehicle immediately. They found the problem (caused by a lack of attention to detail from the dealership) and had me back on the road within 20-minutes, at no charge. My engine temperature remained constant and none of the symptoms reappeared. Thank you, again, for your help! I will certainly recommend your shop to others.

About one year ago I was told the ball joints on truck needed replaced, and truck was only 4 years old. Truck was there for an oil change. Took truck to the Chevrolet dealership to which they reported ball joints were fine. When I chose not to replace ball joints I was told that truck was unsafe for family, in an attempt to guilt me in to the service I’m assuming. Took truck back today in which was hassled again about the ball joints. Truck was there for an oil change. Wouldn’t recommend their service. Happy to report that one year later truck is fine and so is family. No issues with ball joints.

Did the oil change special from their website. They did a very thorough job on their courtesy inspection and found carbon buildup in our intake manifold valve train and leak in power steering hose.

Went in for an oil change so far so good. I like that they did offer a shuttle service which was needed on this visit. I also really like how they message you with service report info including pictures 🤘Rock on guys! Last thing another local Littleton auto shop quoted me $200 for the cabin filter & air filter for 2018 Jeep Cherokee. This place did all that and the full synthetic oil change for $150. Thanks for that great value. I will be back again

An easy mark for unscrupulous garages.Tim got my vehicle right in, had mechanics look for potential oil leak, then he double checked himself.Id left my truck idling cause of traveling with kitty and learned from Tim that condensation had trickled leaving flow mark on driveway - mostly water with some dirt and bit of oil from undercarriage.Charge? $0, which brought this anxious gal to tears. Had an appt to take my car in for oil change, when I got to the shop the gentleman checking me in acted like it was the biggest burden that I was there. Additionally I was unable to use a coupon listed online and he told me it was $100 for a full synthetic oil change. I was so put off by my initial rude encounter that I left. I’m so glad I did! Calling around it was only $50 for my oil change at Meinke and MUCH friendlier service and professionalism. I recommend going other places before giving this business your money.

We had a very noisy Subaru. Took it to the dealership and two other automotive shops for diagnoses. They couldnt find the issue, and we ended up driving a noisy vehicle for two years because we thought it was just the way it was.After being referred to this shop, the manager and staff diagnosed the issue same day and were able to repair the issue same day. It is not an exaggeration to state the vehicle drives and sounds like new. I loved that I didn’t need to depend on a friend to help me drop off my car. They offered a ride home which was perfect. They listened to my concerns and told me the process that would happen to address them. It was fantastic that I got a text with information about what my car needed from urgent to recommended so I could make decisions on what to have done.

I am so happy that I choose this place when my check engine light came on. Granted, everything was leaking in my engine and I had to bite the bullet on some large repairs, but somehow I emerged from that experience feeling confident and taken care of. It was because of the amazing staff and service of this place that I didnt feel too burdened by my cars misfortune. Dakota Ridge made sure I understood everything that was going on with my car, sent me pictures and videos to show the extent of what was going wrong, and took the time to speak to me, explaining what went wrong, what I can watch out for, and just general information about my car. Shout out to Tim for talking to me like I actually know a little bit about the inner workings of my car (which I do) instead of treating me like a young blonde woman who is absolutely clueless and could never understand car care (which I get a LOT). Dakota Ridge was OVER communicative in a good way! I got a text after the initial inspection with pictures and video of what the inspection had uncovered, a call after that to walk through the repairs and estimate, and a real discussion about what needed to be repaired immediately and what I could wait 8 months to repair while I saved up some money, a text when the technician started the repairs, a call every time they ran into something unexpected in the repairs in order to keep me informed of the hiccups and possible changes to the estimate, and a call/text when my car was ready to pick up. They offer a lovely shuttle service to get you from your house to the shop so you dont have to Uber or beg a friend for a ride. And when I got in my car after all had been repaired there was a lovely note from the technician and a bag of popcorn as thanks for bringing my car to them (very nice touch!). All in all, I have never felt better cared for by an auto shop. Dakota Ridge Auto is the place to go!

They were very courteous and knowledgeable. Also I was very impressed by their technology, they did a very detailed inspection on my car and then sent me a link to an online report listing the issues, including pictures and notes from the technician. Then the customer service rep Tim took the time to explain everything to me and make recommendations about what items to address now. Overall I was very impressed with the service and happy with the results.

Finally feel like I found an honest mechanic that does good work. They explained everything in detail, and gave me good recommendations for preventative maintenance to do over the next few months.

Needed my moms car looked at because it wasnt running for a year, shes on a budget. These guys were so great. This was my first time going to Dakota Ridge Auto and I was very pleased with the service and highly recommend them! I love the fact they text you when a technician is looking at your car, they send you a review of the 32 point inspection via text for you to look over before calling them to agree to extra services and they even give you a treat and voucher for a car wash! I’d have to say I’m coming back to them for the remainder of my car repairs and will never go to Breaks Plus or Midas again! I really wished they would open on Saturday even if it was a half day! Wow you want to talk about a truly honest shop. I brought my f150 in for an alignment after installing a lift (leveling kit). After the team did the Alignment analysis with their equipment everything checked out to be in the manufactures recommended tolerance. No adjustment was needed. They said they didn’t perform any work so there is no cost. I tried to pay them for their time to do the analysis but they said no. Truly a professional and honest group. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. A+.

I have the tendency to feel intimidated whenever I have to do anything with my car. Too bad at maintenance is too important to overlook. This time around I was in need of an oil change and was looking for a location closer to my house. After doing a google search I decided on Dakota Ridge Auto after reading their reviews. Scheduling and confirming my appointment was seamless with TJ. The shop was easy to find and small enough to feel approachable. My car was finished in a timely manner and I received complimentary rides to and from the shop. I appreciate the quick thorough work and kindness of the staff.

I was pleased with my oil change the first time I went there but the second time, which was this Monday, I did not appreciate how some repairs were imposed on me. I did appreciate that TJ took the time to check my car’s issues but when I said I just want an oil change, he started arguing with me that I need to do all other repairs. I think there is a difference between informing your customer and allowing him in a respectful manner to chose what he wants to do. I was disappointed that he was pressuring me to do all other repairs that were $3000, and felt like he just wanted to make more money off of me. If you want your customer to come back, don’t try to force him to get repairs he doesn’t want to, just as simple as that. It makes me not trust this place and I will not go there again.

Dakota Ridge was so great at making something usually stressful so easy and smooth! In addition to easy scheduling, when our car was going to need to stay overnight they offered a complimentary rental car! I was so relieved that we could go on with our schedules as normal while one vehicle was in the shop. Returning to pick up my car in a nice rental and driving away 5 minutes later was so convenient!! The total price of full synthetic oil change after the $10 coupon was $67.39. This was for my tiny Fiat. So if I were to return, the next change would be $77.39. The last change for my V6 VW performed elsewhere cost $63 regular price. This service was just too expensive.The service managers werent wearing masks either. I find that inconsiderate at best.

I consider myself to be pretty particular about my vehicle. That was until I spoke with TJ at Dakota Ridge. I have had them work on two very specific products for my vehicle. Bit pricey for an alignment on a 4x4 truck with a 2in lift but, I was very satisfied with the work done and the outcome considering the truck did have frame damage. The cost was $200 which I had no problem paying given the extra work needed. If the truck was in good shape though I think I may had shopped around more. The additional cost was due to the lift while the price for nonlifted vehicles seems very reasonable otherwise. overall, I feel that the staff provided good customer service and quality of work.

Always great service! Dakota Ridge techs have, several times, found needed repairs that my manufacturer warranty covered. The folks there are never pushy about the work needed and always deliver approved repairs on time. Glad they’re in my neighborhood.
