I cannot say enough good things about Genuine and how well they treat their customers. They caught an issue with my Subarus transmission and luckily was still under warranty so they told us to take it to a Subaru dealer that could honor the warranty. The Subaru dealer (Groove Subaru in Englewood) has been AWFUL and Im beyond grateful to Genuine for essentially going to bat for us and giving us the details we need to push Groove to honor the warranty and do the job right! Outstanding customer service is all I can say. Ive never trusted a mechanic or auto shop until these last few visits Ive had with Genuine - I highly recommend Genuine!

It was great experience having my car repaired at Genuine Auto. They did a through inspection of my car and were honest about what needed to be repaired now and what could wait. When I did let them know what I wanted to be fixed, they waived the labor charges on some items that would be removed in the process of making the original repair. They also had great communication when the schedule had to be changed. I will be taking all of my vehicles here for future maintenance or repairs.

Doctors for your car. Ive been to numerous German car specialists who just let the computer tell them what to do, instead of really getting at the root of the mechanical problem. My BMW diesel is a troublesome car. The other shops seemed to throw parts at it, but did not properly diagnose the problem. Heather, Dan, and the team were like medical professionals searching out the root cause of my vehicles illness. It looks like they cured it without transplanting a lot of expensive parts. Heather explained the repair and showed me the actual replaced part, and gave me tips to help keep a my high maintenance vehicle out of the shop. Their price was competitive and lower than other specialty shops in the south metro area. They also provided a loaner vehicle.

I brought my SUV in here after it broke down on a cross country move. It needed a whole lot of work to get me back on the road, and Heather went to work finding me the most reasonable way to get the parts and the work done that it needed. After the work was thought to be completed, my recently repaired drive shaft failed, and they worked quickly to get the part replaced under warranty and get me back on the road that same day. They seem to take a personal interest in their clients’ circumstances, and I knew they wanted as much as I did to get me to my new home! I made it, and I don’t know if I would have if I had brought my vehicle anywhere else.

Genuine Auto Repair isnt just another repair shop you can lump in with the others around town...I found Heather and Dan after calling 6 repair shops in the area. One shop even said i would have to bring the car in so they could inspect it before they could even give me an estimate.. What?Not Dan. He knew exactly what it would take to do the job and how quickly he could knock it out.Great I thought Ill be paying for that expertise in their hourly rate...I was wrong..Despite having multiple decades of experience in the industry, they had the best prices out of all the shops I checked.And when I dropped it off, they made sure to get the repair done in less time than they quoted, even tho there was more work to do than they anticipated....BUT my bill was still the same even though they did extra work.We just want to take care of people and their cars! Heather told me.That made me curious and after a brief chat with Heather about what its like starting a new venture and all they are doing to create a local shop thats different.I can honestly say ...They Literally go out of their way to make sure they are priced more affordably than anyone else and take the time to create an experience that is above and beyond.

Friendly family owned business. Great service and really cared about cost and quality. They compared OEM, after market, and salvage parts for me. Their use of technology was great. They were able to send an inspection report including notes and photos to my phone and walked me through the options.

Our 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid battery DIED. Dragged it to Toyota dealership and they said, “yep, battery’s toast. $5700 for new battery & install”. 😳Guess Toyota thinks everyone who owns a Hybrid car is wealthy. We are NOT. Went online and found batteries for less site. They had a list of qualified shops to do the battery replacement & core return. We called around and found Genuine Auto Repair. As soon as we spoke with Heather, we knew this shop was professionally run & experienced in handling our problem for a price that was fair. Heather stayed in contact with us, told us when battery artived & updated when done (less than a day from receiving battery).My husband is a wrench and has worked on all of our vehicles since we were kids. He accepts computer cars are going beyond what he’s comfortable working on. I had a huge issue with the motor in my GMC. My father in-law referred me to them. This place is amazing. I needed a new motor but after they took the old one out and inspect there were other issues. The manifold was cracked and so on. Long story short they replaced the motor and fixed the other issues. Very professional and the work is on point. They are very knowledgeable and honest which you don’t find much anymore. I would highly recommend the guys to anyone.

I went in for brakes and a battery and found out I needed an axle replaced. Heather explained to me the importance of getting it done and approximately how long I had before I needed it repaired.She also explained the different plans for financing the repair she had available to me if needed. Luckily I had an extended warranty to help with the repair but it is good to know she will work with you and your budget best she can. A co-worker told me about Genuine so I called to get an opinion. My car had no oil in it because the oil filter gasket had been installed incorrectly. They took pictures and documented everything, called that shop and spoke with them on my behalf and helped me get correct documentation from that shop to cover any future problems with my car due to their negligence. Genuine Auto Repair is an amazing local repair shop! Our 2007 Ford Expedition had issues with the plugs (spark plugs). I didn’t want to mess with them, as Ford plugs are known to be problematic. We decided to try Genuine on the advice of one of our friends.Heather was very informative and upfront about what might be the problem and the steps they would take to ensure the truck gets fixed. Hear me when I say this…I’ve never had a shop worker or owner sit down with me and my wife to go over problems as Heather did on the day of our visit. This was a 2-star discussion.Genuine kept our truck for the night and started the repair process the next morning. Heather called me about mid-day to report the issue. Yep, the plugs were bad and a few of the boots too is what they believed was causing our “chugging” truck issue. She gave me the cost of the parts and labor (more than other shops, but not the most expensive). The price didn’t shock me at all, and never changed from what was quoted, as Genuine was using upgraded parts rather than bottom shelf parts (I’m looking at you Ford!) to ensure we didn’t have a problem. Heather called and asked to keep the truck overnight, as they wanted to drive it home to ensure the plugs were working properly and that the issue had been resolved. We were in no rush, so it was okay with us. We picked it up the next day and everything has been running great ever since. This was 3-star service.I can honestly say the truck has never ran better since we bought it (used) 6 years ago. We’re able to tow our horse trailer and horses with no lag or fear the engine will blow on us like we did before. Because of our experience with Genuine Auto Repair, we plan to take all our vehicles to Heather and Dan from now on!Total experience dealing with Genuine Auto Repair was 5 stars for us!

We took our Audi here to have the window wiper fixed. Turned out to be a loose bolt and they fixed it up and sent us on our way. They do great work and only charge for what they do!

My wife Tonja had a very enjoyable experience with the shop. The service writer Heather was excellent and got her all set and checked in and the service tech Dan got her brakes all done as well as solving a recurring service issue with her rear brakes that had caused us issue for years! He diagnosed the issue after some description from my wife and now we will not be early replacing rear brakes any longer! Thanks for the awesome work!

These guys were honest and very fair. I came in with a faulty headlight switch and the out the door price was exactly what I was quoted. And they fixed a slow leak on the radiator hose for free. Nice people. Will be back
