I recently went to the Sleep number store in Lynnhaven mall to purchase a King size adjustable bed. I have been researching this bed for three weeks prior to coming into the store. It turned out that I really didn’t need to do research at all because I met this awesome salesman named Matt Rawls! He not only greeted my wife and I as soon as we hit the door but he made my entire family feel comfortable in his store. He is very knowledgeable about entire line of sleep number beds and helped me and my wife pick out the best bed for our situation. Please go see him! The only reason this is three stars is because the other two individuals made my wife very uncomfortable by the way they were eyeing my special needs son like he was contagious or something. She only told me after we left due to not making a scene. Again Matt Rawls is the guy to see! I won’t be dealing with anyone else.

We ordered our bed on 6 JAN 2021 and delivery was scheduled for 28 JAN 2021. Two days prior to delivery we received the confirmation text with the delivery time window. I also called the day before delivery and again confirmed delivery date/time. The bed never arrived on the 28th. We placed several calls to customer service, talked to several representatives, waited several hours for call backs, and were finally told they would not be able to deliver the bed until 22 FEB 2021, another 3 ½ week wait for delivery. After several more calls - and having the situation escalated to management - the best Sleep Number could do was 11 FEB 2021. During one of our calls, the service rep stated the reason the bed was not delivered was the rep I talked to the day before delivery accidentally deleted our delivery date. I’m in a customer facing industry. If I made a mistake and told a customer the best I can do is deliver 3 ½ weeks later, I would be out of business. I understand mistakes are made, and, would have been satisfied with a delivery in the next 2 – 3 days, but not 3 weeks. If this is acceptable customer support/service, there is a culture issue within the company. This also tells me the reps and lower management at Sleep Number are not empowered to take corrective action. If customer service is this bad with delivery, what happens if there is a warranty issue? On the positive, everyone we talked to was polite and apologetic. Unfortunately, they weren’t empowered to resolve the missed delivery properly.

We have been Sleep Number owners for over twelve years. Although our original bed was still under warranty, we decided to upgrade. David Durda assisted us and he was absolutely great. He took time to answer all our questions and made sure we were satisfied and all needs and concerns were met. We purchased the i8 and so far have been pleased. Along with the mattress, we purchased the dual temp pads and a cooling pillow cover. All are wonderful. I only wish the dual temp would put out cool air immediately . We had to contact David several times between purchase and delivery. Every time, he immediately met our concerns to our satisfaction. David Durda is highly knowledgeable and very customer friendly.

I visited the store 2 times in making my decision. I first met Andy who was very knowledgeable and then I closed the deal with Matt a few days later.Both sales reps were very professional and helped me make a big decision feel easier and less stressful. Thank you!

My experience was fantastic. Chris, the store manager, called me earlier than the store actually opened and we spoke about setting up a private appointment before the actual opening of the mall. Sunday was the choice. Met me outside the Mall and guided me in. Being a returning customer of Sleep Number--we talked and I laid on the 360 smart bed and fell in love!! He also noticed how my head and spine was positioned and suggested, after asking what kind of pillow I use presently, to try one of their pillows. I will get that this week because my pillow was thrown across the room last night for the consistent uncomfortable rest and neck pain. Looking forward to the new beds!!!

Chris ensure we had a full understanding of the technology associated with SleepIQ and the difference in each model. After setting our base sleep number, we was able to choose the right sleep number bed for us.

VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE AT SLEEP NUMBER STOREMy Wife and I did our research on Purple & Casper sleep systems and had made a decision that would have cost us about $5,000. Before buying we were told to check out the “Sleep Number” website because they were the absolute best. To us $5,000. is a serious purchase decision so we decided to view the website. There was a 50% Presidents’ Day sale advertised and the information and reviews on the beds were great. Today we went to the store just as they opened and told the sales person we wanted to purchase a Sleep Number sleep system as long as it compared well with the Purple and Casper systems. He did a superb sakes presentation and let us test the 360 p6 bed Smart Bed, and after about 45 minutes of testing and talking we were 100% sold. However, when he totaled up the final sales check it was $3,200. more than we understood was the total price when we asked upon first entering the store! I was actually handing him my AMEX card when he gave me the total. He then showed me the sales check and I immediately saw the problem. He had added in an adjustable base for our split model bed as a separate item and that added about $3,200. to the final cost. When we first looked at the bed and read over the plastic card with all the prices on it I had asked him if that cost was for the bed system he showed us on the sales floor, and I pointed to it. He told me it was. To us, that showed the entire package. Needless to say, I apologized for wasting his time and said that was way over our budget because the whole package was almost $8,300. That included several accessories like sheets, a remote, pillows, and mattress covers (which we had included). But the discrepancy was in the added cost for a base we understood was already included. So our STRONG CAUTION to any potential buyer is to ask specifically about the total price after discounts of EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM and beware of sudden add-ons and/or oversights by the sales person. Also, of course, the Presidents’ Day 50% sale price didn’t apply to the model we selected. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!B. Tanner

The store was very professional and courteous to us. The staff talked but we didnt feel pressured on buying anything. We had a thorough demonstration of their products and was very helpful in deciding what we bought. We came back the next day and purchased the items we chose. This store is highly recommended for anyone buying a high end mattress set.

LT was an amazing guy to work with. He wasn’t your typical pushy salesman. He wasn’t glued to us the whole time. He was there to answer questions and show us the products and he still let us talk about our decision without hovering! He was absolutely excellent!We are very excited to receive our new bed. It’s expensive but I know it will be 100% worth it when I can actually sleep at night!Sadly the extra products you have to buy are extremely expensive. If you get anything except the traditional mattress (i.e; the adjustable) you will pay an extremely large amount of money for sheets, and mattress cover.

The sales people at this store are ok but didnt give me all the information I needed to do what they said I could do about lowering my cost. The real problem is there customer service dept . called this morning to make a change to my order which they told me I could and waited on hold for more than 10 minutes each time and while talking to some one the call dropped. this happened three times, waisted more than a half hour. tried to text with them on there web site and was not able to make the changes there so I just had to keep calling until someone would stay on line long enough to make the changes. a total lack of concern from them. when I called customer service and asked to speek to a manager the lady I was speeking to said that she was a manager and there was no one else that could help me

I was absolutely amazed by the Sleep Number bed systems. I have Fibromyalgia & currently have a latex foam mattress. I was looking at other options, like Tempupedic, but know the Sleep Number bed will do what I need it to do. I love the feature that allows me to adjust to my personal preference. I was also very pleased with the sales person, Matt Rawls. The pricing & features suited my budget, as well. Im looking forward to the delivery of my new bed early next week.

My wife and I purchased a bed a little over a year ago and we are already having problems with it. The air bladder on my side started loosing air and now it appears the pump is starting to go bad. For the price of this product I can say we will never give our business to sleep number again.

I have a sleep number of my own, was looking for a bed for my in laws, sales rep, didnt know the sales that his own store had going on for the holidays not only that but I was ignored for over 15 minutes because he assumed I was with another customer, had I not already purchased my bed from them, I wouldnt return for anything

I like. Coming into your store. I learn about all the new things . I have had a sleep number bed for 19 years and I would not have any other bed. If this bed last me as long as the first one I will not need another will need another bed.

Sleep number is the worst company I have ever dealt with!! Yesterday I posted about how awful the delivery experience has been. This morning I received a call at 8:10 to let me know my mattress would be delivered at 8:30. My delivery window was booked between 9:00am to 1:00pm. I told the man on the phone what my delivery window is and that I would not be home at 8:30 because I had to take my kids to school. He told me this was not a problem, my window started at 9am so they would wait for me. I arrived back at my house at 8:58 am, no delivery truck in my driveway. I called the delivery company back and asked what was going on. The lady tried to call the truck and dispatch and was not able to get in touch with anyoneI reached out to the contact I spoke with last night from sleep number, received her voicemail and left a message. I then called the 800 number and spoke with someone else who told me we would have to reschedule the order...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I was home to accept the delivery at the exact time I was supposed to be!!As I said in my post yesterday, DO NOT BUY A SLEEP NUMBER BED!!! This has been a very frustrating and exhausting experience!! Save your money and go with a company that has same day or next day delivery!! We purchased our sleep number bed on October 5th and still don’t have it. My husband and I stayed up so late last night to get our room ready for our new mattress and bed and now we don’t have anywhere to sleepHere’s an update...after being told the truck must have left before I got home this morning at 8:58am (delivery window was supposed to start at 9am) they were going to have to reschedule my delivery once again. So I decided to get in the shower and wait to hear back from the CEO’s representative who is my assigned case manager. I receive a phone call (at 9:50am) saying the truck is at my house. I reached out to #sleepnumber once again to let them know what was going on and I was in the shower and needed more time before I could open my door. the person I’m talking to puts me on hold to call the delivery company. As I get out of the shower and try to get some clothes on so I don’t have a towel on as I let strange men into my house the truck pulls out of my driveway. Here’s a picture of the truck pulling out of my driveway...Update...I was just told my mattress would not be delivered now until the 19th. I said not ok, I except to hear back from you with a different answer

Good beds and bedding. Pricey but worth in in my opinion.

Do not waste your money... We are stuck with one of these beds and is so hard that we sleep on our guest room on a $400 matress. The adjustable number is just and air mattress that does not adjust the comfort of the bed, once you lower your number all it does is release the air in the mattress and dips in the middle. We regret it so much, specially everytime we go around and see how comfortable the tempurpedic and those brands are. We still have to pay $3000 and I can honestly say this has been the worst deal of my life( for the record we went over the 100 nights to try it so we cant exchange it or return it). Bottom line “dont waste your money”.
