My experience shopping for a new mattress and adjustable frame was incredible! I have chronic pain from degenerative disc disease and have needed a new bed for at least a year. I was able to facilitate the purchase over the phone thru txt. . Alphonzo Hoskins, the store manager, was knowledgable and spent the time with me kindly walking me thru the purchase. This was more than just a sale, it was truly a blessing dealing with Mr. Hoskins. I like tha I have 120 days to try the bed set and have all confidence that if I find it isnt what I need I will be met with the same knowledgable courtesy and kindness to help choose a more appropriate set. Thank you, I cant wait to try my new bed!

My wife and I stopped in to the Landstown Mattress Firm to find a reasonable guest room bed/boxspring set. We were met by a very friendly associate who accepted our challenge for that day. Numerous options were presented and we even were introduced to some cold pillows. It didnt take long and we found a bed set suitable for our needs. We also had the associate set us up with 6 of these cold pillows.Our experience was a very pleasant one and we would recommend this store anytime you need sleep related equipment.

Mike, store manager, met us at the door and warmly welcomed us. We told him we were looking to replace our king bed box springs with a smaller set. Mike asked us a few questions and checked to see what was available and immediately found us what we needed. Delivery is scheduled for 2 days from now and is a fair charge. The old box springs will be removed and the new ones will be set up.The next time we need bedding, we will return to this Mattress Firm Landstown store because of Mike. Zak at the landstown and Volvo parkway store is the absolute best. After a mistake getting the wrong sized mattress he did everything he could to help me and work with me to get it fixed. He was also very patient and educated in explaining the process to me. Wonderful employee!

I went in two weeks ago and spoke with Victoria McPherson. She was nice and helpful. I ordered a hybrid beautyrest and mattress firm adjustable frame 900. Nov 26 was the delivery day. My dad was at my house to receive it since I had to work. Got home and saw that it was the wrong frame. I immediately called. Sent a picture to the email address requested. And was told that I would have my frame on Sunday. By Friday I didn’t receive an email confirmation so I went to the store. A man told me that because the hub is in Maryland they have to get some sort of confirmation that the item is there so I won’t get my frame until Wednesday so he would call me on 11/28. No call. No email. Nothing! I wish I never even went through this company. For $2800 this experience was not worth the hassle.UPDATE: Mel Johnson manager at the Volvo parkway site contacted me today and apologized for how everything happened. He rectified the situation. I received an email confirmation of my adjustable frame with a Tuesday delivery date and gave me a credit towards my finance account.

Im always hestitant when buying a mattress, mainly because of the sales people, but I needed 3. This experience was different, Meghan was amazing. Finally! My husband and I were convinced that we could buy a quality mattress for a fraction of the cost by ordering from one of the memory foam delivery companies. We tried Casper, Purple, and Tuft & Needle. They were all disappointments. We decided to go to Mattress Firm just to see what they had to offer. We were greeted by a smiling woman named Meghan. We explained our plight and stressed that we expected quality and value. I typically avoid salespeople because I dont like being hussled and upsold. Meghan made it feel like I was a friend, not a sale to be had. She didnt rush us and she used her product knowledge to help us find a mattress that suited our needs. We purchased a lovely mattress and were glad to know mattress firm has a return policy should the mattress fall short of expectations. Well, it hasnt. Weve had it for several months now and its leaps and bounds better than the mattresses in a box. Now if only sales people everywhere could be more like Meghan...

So, I knew what I wanted when I walked in. They were able to listen to my needs and direct me to the right mattress and the right price. They also went beyond what I would expect from a sales person. So I’m giving this a 3-star because I feel like they did ok but not amazing. I went into the store yesterday 8/28/19 and purchased a medium queen mattress that was a hybrid I was told and I also got the adjustable base they advertised for a large discount not free. I financed thru progressive leasing company before I got to the store. (which by the way are amazing) if you download the app you can do the application and pick the store you want to shop at.Anyhow, I spoke to a lady over the phone melisss & crystal, and specifically told them I was approved for a lot however I DID NOT want to go over $1000 with everything I needed. I explained to them I needed a bed frame, mattress and box frame. They told me about their adjustable bed frame sale and I said cool sounds good but still don’t want to spend over $1000. I was told by both ladies over the phone that I wouldn’t spend no where near that much with the sale. So I went in to the store that same day. Tested 3 medium mattresses on their showroom floor. Even tested two adjustable frames. Loved one and the other was ok. When I asked why the price was so high from what their advertising said the lady took me to the mattresses on the side wall standing up (they were basic everyday mattresses you can probably get for like less than $200 without a sale) and said if you want the sale price (of the $179 they had posted for their queen mattress in the window) you can get one of these mattresses.I was disappointed and felt misled. Also, I over heard the lady tell another customer that the $62.50 fee would be charged once furniture is delivered. Which made since to me because that’s what the other store I went to did. However, that was not my case. I was charge on the spot (which I didn’t mind because I had the funds and the mattress (not the frame which really was just a headboard because they didn’t have the frame I wanted in the size or color) was coming in two days, so that was one thing I was not happy with.The other thing is that the lady literally maxed me out my budget and even over my budget I wanted to stay within by $166. So I end up financing $1166 and didn’t get the frame I wanted and I can’t even go to the other stores progressive leases thru to get other things I need for my new house.As a realtor and sales person myself I wanted to share my own experience so for those reasons, this is why I’m a bit concerned and can not give them a 5 or 4star. The sales people were nice knowledgeable and friendly, however they didn’t listen very well to the customer who wanted to stay within a certain budget. Also I never got a receipt for what I paid for or the breakdown of the charges, but the lady crystal said she was going to find out why their system was messing up. However progressive sent me their info it just doesn’t have a breakdown of the charges or my receipt.Thank you for the mattress and everything you tried to do, but just listen to your Customer’s true wants and needs next time. I feel like they wanted to get a sale and get the most they could for their commission check and I was an easy way to do that. Which makes me sad and makes me feel uncomfortable a little.
