Dr. Sayler & her assistant did a very good job thouraly checking & scanning my eyes. I was very impressed. My adult son needed an eye exam. He is deaf and I felt they were very patient with him. I also felt they did a very thorough exam and referred him to a specialist as the test results warranted.

The staff here is very friendly and professional. They don’t try to rush everything through like some others in town. They take the time to find out about your eye history and discuss the options for your eye’s future. They were also helpful in finding out the best coverage option as well.

Very professional and friendly. My Dr was so nice and funny. She took her time and really helped me understand what was going on with my eyes. My son was going to this office i had surgery on my back 2 fusions 2 disc replacements with a repaired broken vertebra. I couldnt make it back in for a few months obviously. Went for a visit yesterday absolutely rude and disrespectful to my husband. Never will i ever go back to them Again.

Best Eye Doctor in Tulsa ❤️ Amazing Staff

This is a mixed review. My first experience at Harrell has not been satisfactory. The facility was very nice, the wait time was short and the exam staff were friendly and professional. But I am wearing my four-year-old glasses right now because my new ones, despite months of hassle, are still not comfortable. Here is my saga:After my first exam, I got a new prescription to put in my existing frames. The clinic forgot to submit my order to the lab but they promised to put a rush on it so it would only take a couple of days. Mistakes happen - no biggie.Another week passes and I call, only to be told it would be another week (we are in a pandemic, so thats fine). When my new lenses are ready, I go in to have them put in my frames, only to be handed a pair of frames Ive never seen. Apparently the lab messed up. Trying again.Two weeks later, I get the correct lenses. Within an hour of getting them, I realize they are not right. I return to the clinic and ask that they be checked - I am told they are correct. They offer to do a recheck of my prescription. I go to another appointment and learn that my prescription was not right. Two weeks later, get new lenses. Within three days Im having headaches and eye strain.Get ANOTHER recheck and a DIFFERENT prescription. I just picked up my new lenses this week and they are better but....well, I am wearing old glasses to type this so...they arent great. Ive never had problems getting glasses in the past. I dont know if the issue is the clinic or the lab where they get the lenses made. Either way, Ive spent HOURS away from my own business and still dont have glasses that I like.I will say the clinic staff have been responsive and pleasant. They did refund a portion of my costs when I asked. They have done what they can to fix whats going on...they just dont seem to be able to. Perhaps this is just a situation where everything went wrong, but overall this has not been a good experience.

I had been seeing another provider for years, but was looking to make a change. Requesting an appointment online was simple and I received a quick response to schedule with Dr. Jordyn Barnwell. On my appointment day, everything went very well from start to finish. Every single person I interacted with from check in at the front desk to the nurses initial exam, the visit with the doctor and finally check out was incredible. Its not often that you feel valued, heard and treated with this level of kindness. I highly recommend Harrel Eyecare.

I am very impressed with Harrel Eyecare. The girls up front are very kind, and polite. Ashleigh was very thorough and explained everything she was going to do during my exam. She listened to my thoughts and wishes for my eyecare. Dr. Beartrack is amazing. She is very gentle, and thorough. She too listened to my wishes for eyecare. I had been to 2 other eyecare locations, and I was not pleased with those places at all. I am so glad I made the choice to go to Harrel Eyecare. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Absolutely love HEC Midtown! The staff is friendly, and greets you cheerfully every visit. The office is clean and well kept. The doctors are phenomenal and pay attention that what you have to say. You do have a voice in your eye care, and you aren’t just treated like a number. They consistently go above and beyond!

This is the best eye care you can get. They also have a fantastic staff and excellent selection of frames.My list of favorite things to do, in order:1. Golf2. Ride go carts3. Go to the optometrist4. Go to the movies5. Laser tagAs you can see, this experience isn’t quite as enjoyable as riding go carts, but more enjoyable than laser tag, which really says something about the service you get here.

I love this place. It’s always great walking in there and hearing that “hello” from the amazing front desk. I remember one guy specially. He was the nicest and helpful with my insurance questions. I believe his name is Pedro. He is amazing at what he does and so does everyone else. The young lady that helped me out after my appointment, Kaitlin. They are all amazing and I’ll be back soon. Harrel Eyecare treats you as family and like you are worth a lot more to them.

Everyone was very professional and helpful. They made sure I understood the changes in my vision. I didnt plan on buying new glasses but I did. They have a decent selection and reasonable prices. It is taking a little longer to get my glasses than Im used to but I guess good things are worth the wait. I will visit them for eye care again.

Clean office, professional and VERY NICE EMPLOYEES! they are always open and willing to help! Never felt rushed and they will explain everything in detail, and if you weren’t told- just ask and they will explain. (FOUR locations makes it more convenient on scheduling!) & They have a great, HIGH quality selection of glasses. I always have heard, “you get what you pay for!” and that is so true with this great experience at Harrel. Their dry eye center is amazing, my dry eyes, especially from the use of contacts for so many years definitely need some TLC, & I love getting my dry eye treatments.

Despite a mixup in my appointment, the staff was friendly and worked to get me in anyhow. The technology was the newest I’ve experienced. Thorough but efficient exam and no hard sales for glasses or contacts. I was just presented with my options. Overall great experience.

I am beyond grateful for the staff at Harrell Eyecare. Every time I go for mibo or an eye exam, everyone from the front office staff, techs, and doctors makes me feel welcome and well cared for. And when I walked in with my glasses in 2 pieces, Luis took time away from a staff meeting to help me pick out new frames and order lenses and then because I seriously can’t see a thing without my glasses, made my old lenses fit into an inexpensive pair of frames. It’s not a permanent fix, but at least I’ll be able to see until my new glasses come. For someone with really bad vision, they do an excellent job of helping me see the best I can!

Good experience. It would have been five stars had I been a little more educated about each of the machine exams I had, such as what the machine is checking for and why. Rather than just being told what to do, maybe also explain why the test is being done. (I asked about having my contacts polished, and I found out it takes two weeks to have this done because they are sent to Dallas for polishing. It is virtually impossible to do without my gas permeable contacts for two weeks!). Otherwise, everyone at my appointment was very accommodating and friendly. The doctor explained well the current status of my eyes and gave me valuable recommendations of how to keep them healthy.

I have been going to Harrel Eyecare Center for several years. The staff is always thoughtful and attentive. My doctor explains my condition well and makes recommendations for any problem I may have. Wait times are minimal. I highly recommend this practice.

My road to good vision has been long and complicated for the last few years. Harrel Eyecare has carefully and diligently guided me through, listened to me at every step, stayed with me and kept searching for answers until they found the solution. I can’t praise them highly enough or recommend them strongly enough to express how pleased and grateful I am.And now that I’m at the point where I can buy glasses, Millie was a tremendous help and fun to work with.

Doctor Burns was the NICEST optometrist I’ve ever been seen by. She was excellent at her job and her positivity made going to the eye doctor way less dreary! As well as all the other people that helped me who were genuinely friendly and were able to answer all of my questions and more. this is definitely my go-to eye doctor from now on!!

My visit this week yielded exciting results. Dr. Kristin Patrick and two techs patiently worked through many options and even a couple of pairs of contacts to rework my entire prescription. My ageing eyes actually require substantially LESS correction than they did from my visit two years ago! I thought I would have to give up contacts because I was struggling so much to see with and without my reading glasses. Now I can do everything with contacts alone. It feels like a miracle!Thanks, Dr. Patrick and your patient, methodical crew. My life is so much easier because I can see so much better.

We came to Harrel because the optometrist weve used for years, Dr. Beartrack, moved here. I was given a very thorough exam and had every step of the process explained. The staff is polite and friendly and their offices are very neat and clean. I highly recommend them and, of course, Dr. Beartrack, shes the best!

I have 5 children and appointments can be crazy business. I was able to print off new patient paperwork before hand so I didn’t have to do it in office.The staff was very friendly and curtious. There were some toys to occupy the kids while they waited. The office was clean. The optometrist and staff were very kind and worked well with the kids.

This is the BEST Eyecare place in Oklahoma. Ive been to a few others. Most are money or insurance driven. Harrel excels in authentic patient care, concern and quality. If you go anywhere else, youre settling for less than you deserve.

Pros: Great doctors. Easy to schedule appointments. In and out in a reasonable amount of time.Cons: Frames seem a little expensive based on other places Ive been. In the mens section there were only a handful of frames priced at $150 or left.

As a black woman I would not recommend this office to other people of color. When it came time to pick out my glasses a staff member pretended I didnt exist. I watched her greet others (not people of color) warmly. When she did speak to me she acted as if I didnt belong there. My experience was so bad I had to leave and come back I didnt even pick my glasses. When I did return in hopes that my service would be better I got the same woman but this time she had a male with her. They made a simple process complicated and tried to make me jump through a whole bunch of hoops. On top of that they wanted my friend another black person to give up their seat for a white person. Then we got called the n word by the white person they wanted us to give up our seat for. Looking at the reviews its obvious that the office main demographic are non people of color and I understand why .
