Look Eyecare has helped me in a pinch twice now. Everyone Ive worked with has been so accommodating and professional.

Really wanted to give a 5 because Chris was great and my was mom so happy! But a few weeks before the appointment I had asked about her insurance and how much it would cover and the lady who answered said “it’s the end of the year so they have to cover it”. The day of the appointment I asked again and was told her insurance only covers the exam but they have payment plans and etc. I told them it was fine, I’ll just get her prescription and to cancel the $20 exam I had signed her up for because I didn’t have the money after all. The lady said that’s fine, we will just do the exams her insurance covers. In the end I had to end up paying $25 for a refraction exam, which i know doesn’t sound a lot, but I literally only had $28 in my bank account and the whole reason why I canceled the $20 exam. I was told that the exam was for her prescription, which I wanted but I wasn’t made aware that her insurance was not gonna cover it and wasn’t aware Of the fee until the end! If I’m being told that we’re only doing exams that the insurance covers, then that’s what I expect. In the end I got her prescription so we won’t need to go back, it was just a shame that I felt so negative in the end after my mom had a great visit with Chris.

The office in inviting, the staff are lovely, and Dr. Chris is one of my favorite people. So glad to have found my doctor for my eye care in such a convenient area.

The exam was done carefully and the doctor especially took time to make sure my prescription was as very good as possible!

Went to them 2 yrs ago door my first visit and Dr. C. McDaniel was fantastic, got to come back recently and was pleased to see they expanded! Sadly had to find another provider due to distance at the time, but upon my recent move, I was able to come back without an issue. The doctor is still wonderful. They keep great records for their patients, the staff if fun, understanding and accommodating. I plan to recommend him to any friends and family looking for a new eye doctor.

I’ve been going to Look for a few years for exams and progressive lens glasses. Chris is always kind and his staff helpful. He has helped me with a couple of eye issues - including seeing me last minute on a weekend when my eye surface got scratched. I like the small boutique feel and selection of trendy frames including less expensive brands. I went in for an adjustment this week and all are wearing masks, not allowing too many people in at a time, and keeping things sanitized.

I love coming here they and very nice and friendly. They are very helpful and I love how the can communicate with I’m deaf fiancée she had me go there and I wouldn’t go anywhere else if your looking for a good eye doctor this is the place to go I would recommend to everyone I know!

This is so much better than going to one of those large offices where you wait a million years with thirty other people. The girls up front were so super nice when I arrived. I hate the eye doctor because my vision is so terrible, but Dr. McDaniel and Ashley made me less anxious by explaining what they were talking about in my prescription changes. Their frame selection was great. They had awesome, on trend choices in every price range. The girl that helped me pick frames was so patient and let me take all the time I needed and gave me suggestions for the styles I showed interest in. Bonus? Your second pair is 50% off! I’ll definitely be back for sunglasses.

Thats saying something since Ive been wearing contacts and/or glasses 66 years! It was a great experience from the moment that I walked in, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They took Covid precautions very seriously and offered hand sanitizer the moment you walked in the door. Everyone was wearing masks, including all of the patients. I waited less than five minutes before I was taken back for my initial testing. Once that was finished I was quickly greeted by Dr. McDaniels, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did not try to push any extra costs on me and gave me straightforward answers to all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. McDaniels and his staff.

LOOK Eyecare goes above and beyond for their clients. THANK YOU for sanitizing and disinfecting everything and making my son and I feel safe and clean in the office. The staff here are top notch, from the receptionist to the opticia, to the optometrist. The office decor is also nice and classy. My 13 year old is a fan . Dr. Chris really connected with my mom who is elderly and suspicious of most people. He took his time and made her feel comfortable and they shared many laughs. She commented that he seems just like one of her own sons. We were very pleased with her visit.

Excellent location on Brookside, lovely clean store with very nice and helpful assistants. I was impressed with how sparkly and new everything looked. And super cute, trendy frame options! Dr Chris McDaniels and his technician were both so nice, took time with me and my questions, and had top of the line equipment. I had a weird thing going on with my eye and he explained it simply and effectively (turns out I have a bruised eyeball, not dangerous just yuck looking!). Omg they truly are the best. One child was nervous and every single person in the office made her as comfortable as possible and by the end of it she was so happy. My elderly parents both have various kinds of vision challenges, and Dr. Chris has given them excellent service and care. He patiently listened to their unique challenges and worked to help them. Best experience Ive ever had with Eye exam and ordering glasses. Dr Chris is WONDERFUL at what he does. This was my first time going to Look, and much to my surprise, I found out the optometrist Dr. McDaniels was not there when a woman walked in the room at least 20 minutes into my visit. I had to ask who she was, she told me her name, and she was filling in for McDaniels who was out that week. Simply unprofessional for a new patient to not be notified about something like this ahead of time. Yet, I completed the visit and ordered glasses that I was looking forward to wearing.When I went to pick up my new glasses the next week, I discovered they had ordered the wrong lenses—single vision instead of bifocals. An office girl (office manager?? She didn’t introduce herself) came to the front and heavily insinuated that the mistake was my fault, and they could order the correct lenses, but it would cost another $105. I was flabbergasted, to say the least, and the girl was condescending and only gave me a half-hearted apology for the “miscommunication.” I demanded my money back. Rightfully so, as the paying customer I expected her to take responsibility for the mistake, sincerely apologize, and maybe even knock $25 off the extra $105 that I was not expecting to pay, and I would have paid the extra, waited at least another week for my glasses, but remained a loyal customer. I certainly hope Dr. McDaniels finds out what truly happened, but I suspect it will be pawned off as my mistake and not theirs.

These people are great. I bought classes there two years ago and have been back in many times to have them adjusted. They are always willing to help very nice and pleasant. Dr. Chris is absolutely marvelous. Im looking forward to a long relationship with this company.

I had an ophthalmic migraine. All of a sudden I couldn’t see out of my left eye and had weird swirley things like looking through a lava lamp. I thought I was having a stroke. I called and they said come on over they would work me in. I have never heard of this but Chris assured me it wasn’t dangerous. I think highly of everyone in this office. They are all so caring and don’t rush through with just a pat on the head and out the door you go. I will never go anywhere else.
