We had some repairs to our swimming pool pumb and filter requiring new parts. Ruben Moreno was our service technician. He did a great job, showed us what was wrong and what we needed to do to fix the problem. He was on time, professional and a very nice person to work with.

The parts I needed were covered under warranty, so of course I wanted to replace the original new assembly with the same. Unfortunately my opinion believes that a new assembly vs a refurbished was too costly for them. But I should have gotten a new assy.So I’m disappointed that I got parts that needed to be glued into an assembly. The tech did a great job, don’t believe he had a choice to oppose his management. Unfortunately I feel like I’ll be needing their help again.

The technician that installed my new pump was very fast and tidy, explained everything in detail and answered questions, and he was super friendly. It was a great experience and I highly recommend PoolWerx.

Went there in a weekend to see the pool that they had outside (the ones that are made of ... Flexible plastic dont know how they call it) the prices was very good and the offer finance. Oooh and the have a lot of pool supplies, hot tubs...

By far the worst customer service ever. They sold me $130 worth of chemicals and told me my pool would be swimmable the next day. Four days later my pool was the exact same. I brought a new sample in and they told me the copper levels rose high enough that the pool would needed to be drained in order for it to be swimmable. All we added was what they sold us. They were adamant that rain was the cause of the copper rise even after I formed them that it hadn’t rained more than a sprinkle where we live. The big bald guy helping me became annoyed that I asked why they sold me $130 worth of chemicals when they saw that my copper levels were already borderline high and the only fix for that was draining it. Then he went back to say that he never said we had to drain it even though the other two employees were standing there. I will never go back there again. They have such bad attitudes and have no idea what they’re talking about and only concerned about selling items even though it’s not what you need.

Patio Pools has been my Go To Pool Place since I moved here in 2013. They have helped me maintain my pool water in excellent shape and provided guidance with every water sample tested. I wanted to add that to this reveiw eventhough my main reason for writing this is to express my complete satisfaction with Reuben replacing 300lbs of sand in my Hayward Sand Filter. What a complete professional from coordination of the appointment a day prior to preparation and execution of the job itself. He made the job look easy and was extremley courteous and friendly as well. To top it all off the price of the job was reasonable too! I am completely satisified with Patio Pools and felt compelled to write this review especially after the service I received from Reuben!

Bought a pool pump from Patio Pool in April of 2018. The tank body cracked and was leaking water everywhere. Called them up since it was still under warranty. Called on Monday and they came out on Wednesday and changed it out. No complaints what’s so ever. Did an excellent job.

We had an air lock in our hot tub. Aaron came and fixed it quickly and very efficiently. Excellent work and such a nice person. We are extremely satisfied. We have had this hot tub at this house for 5 years and another hot tub which we left at our former house for 7 years. Darren is amazing! He came out to do what we thought was a simple repair, but of course it was bigger. Instead of giving us the new quote and leaving, he thoroughly inspected everything since we were already paying the fee. Darren then returned to do the major repair and even found some small items in need of replacement. He made sure that everything was running properly, set the filter pump, and gave us some special settings for our spa. Darren is quick to smile and answer all questions. Very disappointed in repair work and follow up. Original call to patio started at the end of May 2020. I paid the deposit required to get the original pool repair started on 6/4/2020. The original cost to repair the $761.39. I was required to pay the 60% down to get the order started. I paid the deposit and they ordered the part.After two weeks after no response I called back to find out the ETA for the part. I was told that the part still had not come in and that they are still waiting. The repair took place on 6/26/2020After the technician installed the parts and put the heater back together, he tested to see if it leaked. He did not test it to see if the heater actually worked. The problem wasnt a leak, it was the heater not heating the water. I asked him to check to see if it heated. He was unsure how to turn on the heater, so I explained that it usually turns on when the pool pump is running. We turned on the pump, increased the temperature on the panel and waited. Within a few minutes the furnace turned on and the water started heating. Once the heater started running Rueben left. I went inside and came back out to check the heater within 15-25 minutes to find the heater off and the LO error code flashing.When I called Patio Pools and the Technician they had to reschedule the repair. This was another week waiting for the heater to be serviced.The technician returned the next week and reassessed the pool heater. The new problem had something to do with Temperature High Limit switches. The technician overroad the switches, replaced the Pressure Sensor and attached the cover (2 screws left on the ground to the panel). The pool heated for a short while and now nothing works on the heater at all. The panel doesnt even light up.We were given another quote of $205.29 and were told they had to order the parts again. That was on 7/2/2020. I called twice since and have been told they are still waiting for the parts from the supply store and that things are taking a long time due to limited hours of their suppler due to COVID-19.8/18/2020. No eta on part, no communication on the side of Patio Pools with clients waiting for repairs and no suggestions to replace entire system that can be completed sooner and guaranteed.Think twice before contacting Patio Pools for pool heater repairs. I will be ordering another heater from a different company.

We had our hot tub of 16 years serviced for the first time today. Darren arrived on the early side of his estimated window. He was courteous, tidy, wasted no time, and most importantly fixed the problem within an hour. We have used Patio Pools for our water chemistry checks and chemical needs for 16 years as well. This is the fourth company to buy the service I started with. I have had billing problems in that bills did not reach me before the due date, but that has been resolved. Today, the day after Memorial Day, I expected service since my usual day is Monday. I called and was told that they would not be out until next week because they dont make up missed days because of holidays. The hose has fallen apart once again and the pool is a mess. I am unable to put the hose back in the wall. They will send someone out tomorrow, but I dont like missing a week of cleaning for any reason and then paying for it.

I can’t say enough good things about Patio Pools. We had Jerrod out to evaluate our cell sensor & pool pump because they were not working. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. After he repaired everything, he answered my questions regarding my pool & how everything works. I was trying to understand how my salt pool differed from my previous chlorine pool and needed some info on my solar for the pool.It’s so nice to know there is an honest pool service that “has my back” when I need them.

I just had Patio Pools replace my pool 14 year old pool pump. Even though it is peak pool season, I got an appointment very quickly. The technician was terrific. He explained everything and answered all my questions. This new pump is super quiet! You can barely tell its on. Patio backs it with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. Pools are expensive ....Period ! It pays to do your homework when it comes to repairs and maintenance. Certainly you can save a few bucks shopping online, however there is something to be said about personal attention, advice and even instruction when you have a challenging task on your hands. We have a Patio pool and have been doing business with them for many years.When I need parts or advice, I visit Mark Shew at the 22nd Street location. Mark has been a wealth of knowledge and information when it comes to maintaining and servicing our pool. Most recently, our pump motor expired. Mark and I discussed the pros and cons of a variable speed motor. When all was said and done, I made the choice of going with the variable speed V165 unit. In March of this year (2020) we experienced calcium stearate in our high-end Marquis hot tub purchased from Patio Pools in 2016. Calcium stearate is caused by a manufacturing process error in Marquis hot tubs that were built in 2015, 2016. A substance was left in the pipes which over time hardens and begins to flake off in the tub when the jets are turned on. Let me be clear - not just a few flakes, but handfulls of flakes that resemble a snow globe with little particles swirling around you. Getting rid of the flakes and doing it quickly was of paramount importance to us, as the stearate-infected tub was in a vacation rental home that we own and there were guests who were looking for a nice, clean and clear hot tub experience. I wish to say that the Patio Pools team worked diligently and efficiently to help clear out the stearate flakes. Kathy and Melissa coordinated the teams, which came out on three separate days, twice each day, to treat the tub. They worked with me to schedule times for the technicians when the vacation rental guests would be out of the house sight seeing. The technicians Jerrod and Darren were knowledgeable and had all the necessary equipment to drain, clean, refill, and treat the hot tub. They were punctual, showing up when they were scheduled. My sincerest thanks goes to Andrew Bohme, the spa repair manager, who came out initially to help troubleshoot and identify the problem. Andrew spent most of his Saturday draining and refilling the tub a couple of times, trying various cleaning techniques and even taking a bunch of the flakes with him to pinpoint the exact problem so that a solution could be implemented. Andrew called me every day to give status of our warranty or to let me know which technician would be coming or to keep me informed of the repair solution. The result - our hot tub is clean and clear - no flakes, not even one. And the good news is that once we are rid of them they will not return. The piping is better than new, because the offending material inside them has been eradicated. Our guests were happy and we, as vacation rental owners, are happy. Thank you Patio Pools team for a job well done.

I couldnt solve the algae problem with my pool no matter what I tried so I took a water sample to the 22nd street store for help. Mark Shew told me exactly what to do and what results to expect DAILY. I followed his instructions and not only did the algae problem disappear, but the water clarity improved to the point that I havent seen in quite some. I called him several times during the week or so that it took to get things back to normal (for some additional advice) and he was not only very courteous but very informative as to what I should be doing and could also be doing weekly to ensure that the problem does not repeat itself. It gives you a good feeling to know that you are dealing with someone who knows his business. Kudos to Mark!

I was in the market to purchase a new hot tub and decided to go with Patio Pools. My past experiences with Patio were always favorable and this one was no different. Shortly after the hot tub was installed I began to have some fairly significant difficulties one would not expect from a new product.I informed Patio of the problems and they were swift to address the issues. After one home inspection it was decided we needed to involve the manufacturer of the hot tub and I thought to myself “Oh, Boy! Here we go!”But to my surprise, Patio took care of everything. Patio’s relationship with the manufacturer was excellent and as a result, all my concerns with the hot tub were corrected without any hassle or additional cost.Way to go Patio! I’m a customer for life!

Jerrod replaced two defective parts in our water heater. He also cleaned some debris from the internal parts. He gave me some tips on the way that the heater works. I gave him two things to check on for further maintenance of my pool. He was courteous and knowledgeable.

Patio Pools is maintaining our pool on a weekly basis. Daniel is our pool specialist and arrives on time every week. He keeps all the readings within specified limits, keeps the pool clean, and has a very nice personality. We have been very happy with his service which has been for a year now. Another good part is the service cost almost the same as my buying the chemicals, and Patio Pools is doing the work. Ihave had only good service from Patio Pools and they built the pool back in 1999.

Had some trouble with the drain in our pool. After speaking with more than one person Brian Stanford came out, earlier than scheduled, and was able to remedy the problem. He took time to explain what was wrong, why new parts were needed and how to better maintain my pool. He even vacuumed the entire pool. I would request his service again and I would highly recommend him to anyone else needing pool care.

When looking for a pool builder, we spoke with Matt at Patio Pools & Poolwerx. He made a site visit and promised product info and literature which he did not have with him; he said hed drop it off the following week. Three weeks later and three follow up calls to him, no response, no info, no literature. Crickets. Guess Ill write checks to another pool company.

I was on the road on a hot day with my dog in the car. Spoke to Mike and asked about availability of a particular product. He got it off the shelf and had it waiting for me when I walked in 5 minutes later! 👍👍

Patio Pools and Spas in Sierra Vista, Arizona used to provide great service. A few years ago management changed hands and so did the quality of service. We recently had a pool drained and cleaned by Patio Pools and we are extremely dissatisfied. After we told them that we did not want the pellet/bead blast done for an additional $1,000.00 their attitude changed. After doing the acid wash and refilling the pool, they did not balance the water like they were supposed to and did not put salt in our salt water pool. Their reason for not adding salt to the water was that they had not included it in the estimate, knowing that it was a salt water pool. After all, they built it. Very disappointing.

Superb product, delivery & customer service! I worked with Keith Rose back in February to pre-order a Marquis hot tub I wanted delivered to my future home (under construction at the time I placed my order). Keith helped me lock in the sale price for 6 months by paying a $500 deposit, so I was able to save over $1,300.00. When it came time for me to place the actual order, in late May, all the 2018 models had been sold out. They upgraded me at no extra charge, still locked into the February sale price, to get a brand new 2019 model. Only snag along the way is that it took 8 weeks to deliver, vs. the 4-6 weeks Id been told was normal. Craig, the delivery guy, was fantastic: he was able to deliver it through my 3 wide gate, rather than expensive crane or breaking apart my retaining wall. He sold me an arm to hold the cover off the ground and make removal & replacement of the cover super easy. Not something Id originally wanted, but Im so glad to have it--makes things super easy & clean. I told them I didnt want any stinky chemicals like Chlorine or Bromine, so they swapped out the bag of ordinary sanitizing supplies for the Soft Soak system, which is hydrogen peroxide based. They also installed an ozonator, which does 65% of the disinfecting without nasty chemicals. Couldnt be happier with it! My hot tub is crystal clear, with ZERO chemical smell! And the colors are just beautiful, very high-end looking. Maintenance is simple, and I know theyre always there for me in case I have trouble balancing the water, or any other technical issues. Overall experience with them was Excellent!
