They told my brake pads were almost gone and I needed new ones while they had it up on the lift... I rode over on my bike with my receipt for the almost new pads that were 6 months old. Took it to my other place (they were all booked, but took a quick look). Perfectly fine. SMH. Service Street is awful! RIPOFF $$$$

Great experience! I brought my Toyota in for brakes and to have a few routine items performed. Rick was great to work with! He communicated what was needed. They took care of the work very efficiently and even help arrange a ride for me to work! It’s been a long time since I have had such a great auto repair experience! I will definitely be returning!

Came in to check over car for 60,000 miles, left and came back again at 3:30 for an oil change, and need to come back again for an alignment. Because I’ve had to go and come back they’re discounting my oil change and my alignment! Super nice and helpful :)

I took my car in after my check engine light came on. The day it came on I took it to auto zone and it pulled one code. The next day I took it to them and they said 3 codes came up and asked me to bring it back the next day. I did & when they called me after the hour diagnostic a new code pulled (less than 24 hours later, driving one mile home, one mile back). They quoted me $2500. I asked them to email me the estimate so my husband (who works out of town) could look at it. He looked at it, did a little bit of calling around, and within 20 min had two other quotes at half the cost. I got the work done somewhere else for A THIRD of their quote and was informed that the parts were marked up 200% as well as quoting unnecessary work. When the person who actually fixed my car starting looking he found a very large coolant leak (never an issue before) and said it looked like it had been messed with. He also stated that if they had really inspected my car they would have seen that first thing. The people I interacted with were pleasant, timely and didn’t make me feel like they were robbing me blind. I highly suggest if you decide to get the work done there that you get at least one more person to look at it.

Will never do business here again, total rip off. I went to get my emissions done, as it failed & was given some paperwork from the emissions testing place to get the problem resolved. I went over to Service Street auto repair thinking they would do a good job of diagnosing and fixing the problem. They explained the situation and said the problem was a catalytic converter. So they sold me one, and after installation and spending a lot of money on it I was able to return and get the emissions passed. Here is where the problem lies, they identified an incorrect problem. There was nothing wrong with my catalytic converter, the problem was when my check engine light came on again three weeks later, and I brought it in as the engine was running so rough, they said it actually looks like you have an issue with the head gasket. So, naturally I inquired about what that will cost. Of course it’s going to be over $4,000 dollars!!!! This is after I’ve already dropped $1200 for a catalytic converter. Seriously, if you can’t figure out the problem you don’t just keep changing every part on it. Good God, it’s like building a car from scratch. So, I explain this to the management there, but Nothing…They basically said there’s not much they can do…They had miss identified the problem in the beginning. But who’s going to refund the money for the catalytic converter that I didn’t need in the first place…unprofessional!

Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. I got very detailed info from them and trust that they know what they are doing. They are also open on weekends and were able to get me in right away even when they were busy. Will be a returning customer.

We were traveling back from western CO to MN when steam started coming out of my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We needed it diagnosed and fixed asap on a Friday afternoon to get back on the road. These guys made it happen despite being very busy when others wouldnt. Their ratings were also great. They quickly diagnosed a bad water pump got approval to fix and did so within 24 hrs finishing on a Sat afternoon. Purs like a kitten now after another 500 miles. Thanks!

Ive used these guys twice now and they are always super helpful and friendly!! They werent able to fix my car issue this time around, but they were still super professional and handled it with grace! I really enjoy going to them for my car maintenance.

I had brought my vehicle in to get inspected and specifically asked to have my card lights(all) looked at as I thought I might have one or two out. Then I asked to have my tires looked at as I saw a nail and was wondering what to do next. The service advisor informed me it would be taken care of. I informed the service writer I was a delivery driver who uses my car for work and to drive my special needs children from place to place. So I was very surprised when I found out that neither of the two jobs I ask for were completed. When I came back to talk with the company and the boss. I was told in a non professional way, “ sorry, my employees must have missed it.” I tried to communicate a few times but was silenced by the service writer repeatedly saying the same thing. “It wasn’t me, my guys missed it.” This is by far the most unprofessional way to go about earning trust and building a community! I will tell everyone I know not to come here because of the inconvenience and disrespect.

I’ve used this shop twice now. The first time,while I was a bit overcharged; the service was good. Second time has caused me to leave a review. About a month ago my vehicle was brought in due to a constant squeaking when hitting any bumps. It was diagnosed that a new LCA was needed and with CV boot assembly, the noise stopped for a week. Fast forward to now; the squeak has gotten louder. I brought the vehicle back to be looked at and was told it’s probably my aftermarket suspension/coil overs, that didn’t seem correct. So I took my vehicle to where my suspension was installed and that was the further from the issue, it was communicated that I wasted my money. I spent unnecessary money and attempted to have them re-evaluate my vehicle. Never again will I spend my money at this shop.

Rick and Scott are the best! My car ran out of battery across the street, they helped me try to start it even though they closed in 15 minutes. After trying forever to start it they were able to get me a new battery and install it, even though they were closed at this point, and it was at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I thought I got a free lift back home that didnt happen because I was using a oil change coupon and i didnt spend enough to get a ride. I got a call saying that my coupon didnt work because my oil did not come in conventional... but that they removed all the oil from the car. Ok first off when I dropped off the car why didnt they explain my car didnt meet the criteria for the less expensive oil change, but even after knowing this they drained the oil then called me asking what I wanted to do. For a shop who charges dealership prices they are noobs to say the least. There shop rate is 167.00 a hr. Go to Christian Brothers they offer free rides and are 30.00 less per hr.

Really friendly staff! gave me discounts without me even having to ask, they have great prices and had my oil changed faster than Ive ever had it changed before. Will definitely be coming back for any future repairs or tune-ups. :)

I brought in my truck because the check engine light came on and I received an email from Chevy saying an issue was detected with my emissions system. I called multiple Chevy dealerships in the area but none of them would be able to look at my truck for at least 2 weeks. I decided to look for other places online and service street was close to my house. I gave them a call and they were able to look at my truck the next business day. They ran a diagnostic on it and we’re able to figure out the issue. Unfortunately, the part required is on back order and they were unable to replace it. I’m happy with the service though because I felt like they were very thorough with the diagnostic. They explained to me everything they did to find out what the issue is. Because they were unable to get the part that was needed for the repair, they gave me a nice discount on the cost of the diagnostic service. I left feeling like these guys are honest and not just trying to rip me off by fixing a bunch of stuff needlessly. Once the part is available I will be coming back here to have them replace it.

I brought my car in and they gave me a ridiculous quote to fix the problem. I decided to wait and see what my normal shop would charge that I trust and they quoted me less than half. Like we are talking about a $1100 difference. I read another review that they did this to a young female so I’m wondering if they are one of those shops that think women don’t know about cars and they can charge them more. Don’t get fooled by these people and get a second opinion! I go to Honest-1 auto care and they always treat me right and have never tried to take advantage of me.

Great experience. Richard helped me through the whole service. He was very accommodating as I had my 3 month old son with me and couldn’t leave. I was there for 3 hours but got my brakes replaced and an oil change. They did a great job all around keeping me updated.

Took it in for a check engine. They said they fixed it but after driving ten miles light was back on. Spent another 715 and light came back on after driving it 7 miles. Took it in a third time and they found yet another thing. 2700 for that one. They most definitely do NOT do a thorough check for whats wrong. Beyond infuriating and I missed a lot of work for things that they should have checked the very first time I brought it in. One of the issues is even a known problem with my type of car yet they didnt test for it until the third time. Tried to talk to them the second time about being thorough and they talked down to me and argued about it. Will never be going back for any reason.

Work was good, customer service showed. Pricing was expensive. Never had trouble battery but all of a sudden they say I need one. Dont believe it. Wont be using them again sorry

I would never go to this shop again. I have wasted so much time and money that I did not and do not have to pay for a repair or repairs of that matter that were not even the problem. My car was wrongly diagnosed and the catalytic converters where the supposed issue. However after believing said service Street, and after $3,000, my fuel pump went out which was the solution to the original problem that had nothing to do with the catalytic converters. Do yourself a favor and never use this mechanic shop for anything any type of service and always do your research on a company before you take your vehicle to them. Always know your information before asking for help from any mechanic. Service Street has drug me through the mud and after the supposed diagnostic I basically signed valid contract for repairs that did not need to be worked on. So please instead of turning into service Street look the other way.👎👎👎👎👎

Love this place. Been coming for years and always been taken care of by TJ about as good as you could possibly ask. Awesome staff, awesome management, great waiting area, and man I love their hours and appointments. Plus if you need something more extensive, they can knock that out for you too! Haven’t had to do it in a while, but got an oil leak repaired on a friend’s Honda Civic there and it was cheaper than quoted!

We are thankful to have found Service Street on our cross country trip in our RV, towing our Honda CRV. I called on Monday letting them know that our tow car has developed a scraping sound in the rear and they were able to get it in the next day. Within a few hours they diagnosed and repaired the brakes that had loosened as well as adjusting the parking brake. Can’t thank them enough for the prompt service at a very reasonable price.

Honest, helpful and a great value. You cant ask for more than that. I initially came to get a second opinion on what another mechanic said would be about 3500 dollars of work. They confirmed my suspicion and fixed the one real problem for less than 1000.

Wasn’t passing emissions. Took it in to get repaired. Found out it was just a bad electrical connection at a fuse. Had approved to pay for a diagnostic and they didn’t charge me anything. Went and passed my emissions right after. Very honest people! Thanks Rick! Will be back for any future repairs.

Was having issues with the vehicle not starting reliably. Was told by other store that the battery was good, this team checked it and found that it was bad. They replaced my warranty battery and no charge for all of their work and research! Very gracious of them. Check them out next time you have car issues.

Had 3 coils and 6 spark plugs replaced on my 2006 RAV4. Took 10 hours and cost $1375! Took a lot longer and cost a lot more than I expected. However, Jimmy was very professional and kind. He took care of 3 different Lyft rides for me! He also tolerated my nervous breakdown when I had issues with my bank at the end of day! 😆 Thanks so much to the whole crew who helped me out yesterday! Their financing options are AWESOME as well! Would reccomend!

We had a coupon for an oil change, so we gave them a shot. They were friendly and efficient. They were able to do the service the same day I called. I dropped the car off early and they finished before my scheduled appointment time. With the coupon, the oil change was very reasonably priced.

My car failed emissions test, the check engine light is not lit. They tested sensors and catalytic converters, and concluded that the catalytic converter is plugged and needs to be replaced. However, due to the pandemic, there is a worldwide shortage of such. They couldnt find one for my car anywhere.Only 4 stars because the tech didnt use a mat on the floor carpet, and left lots of grimy footprints on the carpet.

This place was fantastic and got me in to make sure I could get my truck fixed prior to driving to Wyoming. Not only did they do a great alignment, but they also fixed some other loose parts that I wasnt aware for a great price. Would highly recommend if your looking for professional and well valued place to take your car.

I have always had such positive experiences with Service Street. They are professional yet casual, confident in their own, and trustworthy. I dont know squat about cars, and I dont feel like I am being taken advantage of like with other places. When TJ called to explain what was wrong with my car, he explained everything in a way I understood, was thorough, detailed, and has estimates ready before any work was done. My car was a whole mess of problems, and the guys at Service Street made her run like a dream, and educated me on next steps for maintenance. Definitely a home town vibe, and the only place I will be taking my cars to.

Rude! The larger guy at the front desk is plain rude! I have several people that have gone there that I know of that has said he is rude and they are not trustworthy. I had a friend said they did an inspection and they wouldnt give him an itemization of what the was and became rude and combative. I suggest Christian Brothers right down the street!

They can do same day service, which is convenient. However, you pay for it with inflated pricing and leas attention to detail. They performed a fuel injector cleaning and neglected to drive the car after they performed the service to finish cleaning out the system. After I picked the car up I drove it and the car stalled.

Top notch service and they meet estimates provided by other auto care facilities.

I wouldn’t even give it one star. They took over 600 dollars and I ended with a car with a dead Engine. I took it and they said it was something with the Camshaft Timing. They never mentioned to me that it could of been the Engine after they charged me 100 for the Diagnostic. They charged me 400 to replace a part. I picked the car up and when I got home it stopped working. Then they charged me 115 to Tow it over there. Just to find out the Engine stopped working. They never told me something was wrong with the engine. The could of been honest with me instead of taking my money. And tell me the car might not be fixable due to the Engine. These people are not honest. Over 600 dollars FOR NoThing !

Their prices are not unreasonable, they are fast, timely, professional… And I would have given them a five star rating however, the person who changed my oil was obviously a heavy smoker, and left my car reeking like an ashtray.Also, a few employees entered the Waiting room without wearing a mask.I did really appreciate them telling me I could wait a while to get the rear main seal repaired, as it is common and not threatening till the leak gets bigger. They didn’t just try to take my money.

In a single word my review would be Incompetence I generally only leave positive reviews. I feel the review system is a cheap means of the average Joe to tarnish a company anomalously. So this review is very serious to me. Last year I brought my sons car here for a bad steering pump and the mechanic who looked at told me they could not work on it because there was some damage that made it hard to access the pump from a minor fender bender that had previously happened. I was okay with this and I kept a positive outlook about it. They didnt charge me for the diagnostic and it was relatively a painless experience. I brought it somewhere else and they switched it out, no problem. They didnt even mention the room from a fender bender issue. Last July my Truck had a issue and I brought it to them because it is a free diagnostic and I kind of respected how they shot from the hip about details. I had to call them about it the next day and the guy told me over the phone the engine is tossed and it needed a new engine and that would cost $7,000 to do. An engine job costing $7,000 is batcrap insane obviously, so a friend of a friend recommended a smaller shop and he had it for awhile but, he was able to fix it without replacing the engine. It was a bad fuel injector and replacing the plugs and wires. It was way less than $7,000. The moral of my story is... If what these guys tell you is a little wonky or pricey, get another opinion.

Showed up as a walk in to have my brakes and rotors changed, they were changed quickly and efficiently. The team also helped me resolve a coolant leak I’ve been trying to get figured out and have had multiple other “diagnostics” done this past year without anyone else able to resolve the issue. Very professional and cannotrecommend highly enough! Sad I didn’t find this place sooner and avoid the Jeep dealership in the area all together.

I have a performance car and I took it in for an issue I didn’t know, all I knew was it was something with my A/C, they told me exactly what was going on with the car and were upfront about costs and how long it would take. Turns out it was an issue with my whole cooling system. Completely reasonable prices for parts and labor, they updated me every step of the way as far as parts coming in and everything! They didn’t fix anything I didn’t ask for (something my parents warned me about for repair shops). The staff were really friendly. They got it done in super quickly. I live on the other side of Denver and took my car here, and I would definitely go again. 10/5 stars in my book!

Overall, I’ve had great experiences with the Service Street in Thornton. Most recently, I was able to get an appointment for an oil change the same day that I called when other places around town were unable until the next day. They took my car back for service within 10 minutes of me arriving for my appointment, and my oil change and courtesy inspection were done in less than an hour. Waiting went by quickly and the waiting room and restrooms are very clean and comfortable. Service Street has awesome packages available for oil changes that can be used for multiple vehicles in a family, so because my son bought a 5 pack awhile back, I walked out of the door with just a signature!! They did make some suggestion for some factory recommended maintenance stuff that’s due in about 10, 000 miles, but did not try to sale me any unnecessary or extras services. I am very pleased with my experience at the Service Street in Thornton.

So it started out great until i used coupon for oil change.Jimmy the manager didnt want to redo ticket to reflect the price change.so i also paid cash and that was reflected.when i add up from original i didnt really get thediscounts.he wasnt willing to correct it.he just wasted to offer 10.00 on next work. So please tell me why i should trust you. I tried over looking broken light from before that was not brought to my attention that was done by service street. Unhappy customer.

Spent well over $1,000 and 6 nights letting these tools work on my van. They replaced 4 different parts and never solved the issue. I even called with 2 simple questions... Did they check the distributor cap and the MAP sensor? Couldnt/wouldnt give me an answer. Do NOT recommend!

I made an appointment, and dropped off our vehicle for a lube service. We had another appointment to go to. After our other appointment, we returned a d picked up our vehicle, service completed. We will make plans to take the vehicle in for a GDI service after we have done our taxes.We are thoroughly satisfied with Service Street, and will return and recomend them for all automotive service.
