First of all, let me tell you about my boy Mr. Dan the man! The guy is a cut, dry sales man, and I absolutely love it! We bought a 2017 raptor, and every step of the way, Dan, and Adam, was on point! They are having our Ford Raptor looked over, and putting new brakes and rotor on, bc it didn’t pass their company standards! I absolutely love Dan, aka Mr. Green. Well, we thought we were getting a good deal. Adam made us feel like we were his best of buddies. We fell for it. Typical sales attitude you will find here. What should be wrong with a 2019 Ford F150 with only 14,000 miles on it? How about everything! We trusted and we shouldnt have. Many situations started showing up soon after sale was final. Their prices are a bit high but they keep the vehicles looking nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Christopher, Juan, and Chris are the mechanics and are good at their jobs, as well they get the work done in a timely manner, even for a last minute walk-in. Dan is a good salesman who will answer any questions or concerns.

Just bought my truck from Tranum and it was a good experience. Ron was helpful and professional. Had someone offer $3k above the asking price in the midst of us negotiating after I had already spent 4 hours there and paid for my own pre-purchase inspection, and Ron and the GM stuck with me which I very much appreciated.

I work long hours so I filled an application online for a vehicle let me just say I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication and touch bases.. I expected to hear back within the second day with my approval or denial but talk about wow it’s been three days I called multiple times and there response is I’ll give you a call back or let you know what my manager says.. my Selection Specialist Ron Caines was very terrible with Communicating i had the funds and didn’t even bother to check or let me know what the status was..I wish I had went elsewhere before I let them run my credit..just would be satisfied with better communication next time/ hopefully y’all won’t have the same bad luck I had thanks for reading...

This is the WORST company to buy a car from. Save yourself the time and don’t bother. The car seems fine but if you buy tons of things pop up that need fixing and the mechanic is horrible. Doesn’t do a thorough overview of the car. They buy cheap cars with tons of issues and clear codes and put them on the sales floor. Do not buy a car from these liars.

All I can say is if you can buy new do it, its cheaper in the long run . This was one of the worst deals Ive ever got into . And do not trust their mechanic very dishonest anything to sell a car or not fix it. And dont let them tell you its still under dealer warranty like its a perk cuz it isnt it is a as is deal as soon as you sign that paper work . Your car could be leaking oil and theyll tell you its not well its leaking in front of them.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Tranum Auto Group. When I began looking a for a car I was still deployed overseas for a few more weeks. James at Tranum was the only person out of many dealerships I reached out too that was willing to work with me! James made purchasing a car extremely easy and enjoyable. He was willing to help me out as well as l hold the vehicle for me for almost a week while my flight kept getting delayed! Christina was also extremely kind and helpful. She worked with me on the day of purchase and had all the paperwork for my vehicle registration squared away before I even arrived!(I am registering my vehicle out of state and this was the first dealership that was more than willing to help with the paperwork. The last dealership made me fill out all the paperwork myself and was unable to help with the questions I had.)Overall this was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM VERY SHADY found a vehicle we were interested in put deposit down for it and this vehicle was sold by the general manager that we were told by him we had until Sunday to complete the transaction (this was said on Wednesday) and the following Thursday morning we had called to inform them we were coming by less than 24 hours from the initial deposit and they had sold the vehicle from under us and had the audacity to try and sell us a different vehicles and then they proceeded to try and keep our deposit and till we had to argue to try and get it back (still pending waiting for it to hit my account) would give 0 stars if I could worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with.

Very Simple Service. Bring your own bank auto loan and everything goes by Smoother. If you are ready to buy save yourself time and get pre-approved by your bank then you will pick what you want. This is not a Regular dealer, they treat you as Family and not another number. They appraised my Old Vehicle and didnt paid too bad plus i got a Considerable amount of Discounts. Didnt have to Hustle or overdiscuss the Price. The buying process took me about 30-45 minutes. I waited about an Extra hour and 30 minutes for a Good Cleaning to detail in my new Ram. Overall it was my Best Experience ever with an auto Dealership. Everybody is really Nice to Include the Manager. You wanna drive away in a nice vehicle? Dave is the best, I mean the best ever! First, my credit was terrible but he did not give up finding a bank that would finance me and is still within my budget. Secondly, there were some scratches on the side of the vehicle that they had not had the time to get fixed because they literallyjust got it in, but as promised I was able to drop off the vehicle and they fixed it (no charge of course) and I got a loaner, I would highly recommend this place!

Buying a used vehicle from Nick was as enjoyable as buying a car should be. At a different dealership, we had to fight three sales people to get our car keys back. It felt as though we were held hostage. At Tranum, Nick was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and didnt pressure us at all. I will definitely send my friends and family to Nick when they are in the market for a vehicle.

This is such a great place to buy a car, I came to look at cars multiple times and worked with Dan. He was not pushy at all when it came to buying a car. He was extremely patient. Charles was also a great salesman, I told him my price range and what I wanted and he found the perfect car for me. Extremely easy process and I walked out with the car the same exact day!

No stars for this place because they are not worth anything else. They try to rush you into some deal that is not what you want for a car you was not interested in. And try to sale you insurance you dont need and you must accept with the already con deal. One to look out for is a con name Dan Green and the other at the desk in the middle of the floor. Got my first vehicle here and will never buy or promote here ever again. The car I bought had 2 major issues in the 1st year. No biggie as it was used, they handled the process easily by taking the vehicle and giving me a loan. 3rd issue comes up and Im told they never loan or rent vehicles. Im on the phone with the manager of the place being told that theyve never loaned me a vehicle despite me having to bring the vehicles into their shop for service and the mechanic wants the vehicle for a day to find the problem. Charging $120 any hour no less, despite the discount. They also couldnt tell if I was under warranty for the work. So I flat out call the manager liar and she wishes me a blessed day and hangs up. By far they went from alright to compete trash with one phone call. I wont even get my oil changed here at their discount rate. Id rather pay full price then be directly lied to by the apparent manager.(Updated - 6/17/2019 Same Day Review)Changed to 1 start, due to response from apparent manager at Tranum clearly having stated multiple times over the phone that they do not loan or rent out vehicles, yet has given a response to my review stating that they do indeed loan vehicles.I asked for a loaner and was told they do not loan or rent vehicles even after I stated that I had purchased my vehicle from them and that I had been given a loaner vehicle on 2 separate occasions, while this apparent manager was working at this establishment.I hold my stance that this service had gone from alright to complete trash in a single phone call and this back pedaling is a clear reason why. I will not give Tranum a single referral or another dollar, I have lost all trust in having them touch my vehicle, why trust someone that is going to blatantly lie to you and then state do what you have to do when stated that the vehicle would be returned and parked.Never again with Tranum.

So I can give no stars I would first of all I bought this car like three months ago QX Infiniti 56 took it home drove it two days later the engine light came on take it to the mechanic to see what was wrong with it Bank 1 catalytic converter went out call Dan Green I told him what was going on he told me to bring my car in brought car in and after have my car for a week and he said that is ready to go if not use my extended warranty and my warranty will cover it my extended warranty that I paid for liar my extended warranty didnt cover anything do not ever ever use this place again please guys dont use this place

I don’t live in Temple so he was so helpful in handling everything over the phone and the only time I had to make the drive, was to pick up my car. I talked to other dealers in Waco but they weren’t helpful and didn’t care much about what I wanted but Dan put my needs first and exceeded it by 10! My credit is currently being worked on and I didn’t have much hope but if it weren’t for him I would have given up. Also, Mrs. Trammel made the paperwork so easy and super fast and she was so sweet and wonderful. I’m never buying a car from anyone else! I wish I could give them 10🌟.

This is my first time posting a positive review for a dealership and something I have been meaning to do for a while! Tranum gave us a great deal on an SUV that were still driving 6 yrs. later. They came down on the price to get us the monthly payment we wanted and paid a fair price for our trade-in. The Tahoe we bought is a quality vehicle. Our salesperson was very honest and direct. Over all, a smooth, positive experience and well worth the 1.5 hours we drove.

Took my 17 Charger in for an oil change and they were fast and provided excellent service. The gentleman who I made the appointment and checked my car in with was awesome and made me aware of an issue from a previous wrecked where Calliber Collision tacked it together and told me his guys were working to fix it and at no extra charge. I recently purchased my 2014 GMC Terrain at Tranum and couldnt be happier. JULIAN BURTON was extremely professional, very helpful and not once made me feel any pressure to buy. We got a 2015 Dodge Journey from Brad and the process was fast and easy. Great price and he was great with us. A month later we were having an issue with the trailer lights that were not done right by the last owners and I brought it into dodge in Killeen and they charged us over a $100 to disconnect it because it was causing our turning signal to stay on. I bring the Journey into Tranum for the oil change and speak to Brad about it and I absolutely love that there’s no hassle. Not only will we get a refund for paying out of pocket since it’s still on warranty but he will fix the whole converter for us. Best customer interaction I’ve EVER had. I can’t thank him enough for being being understanding and patient with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better sales person. He’s a great person all around. Found a wonderful deal on a used car for our expanding family of seven for the expecting mother to safely drive around town with all in tow. The staff was great getting us numbers that worked and we drove home in the car we wanted...THEN a month later we received calls and messages that the finance people needed help understanding how the payroll worked for her small business, THEN the underwriter was considering denying the loan, THEN Tranum was going to find a way to make it work, THEN a knock at the door with a gentleman asking my name while he had our new car on his tow truck. Instead of a courtesy call asking us to come in, WE WERE TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS! They then had the audacity to ask me to come in and try to run different numbers with the same bank like they did not just repo our car before we ever made it to the first payment. I truly thought better of Tranum as I have lived in this community for 37 years, I had even been to Jim’s home and played his pinball machine as a child.

I love Tranum and every last one of their employees. I went 1000 to put down bad credit and no drivers license. James was the associateI worked with and he was amazing. He worked very hard to find a lender to finance me and they succeeded. the down payment was 1500 they took the 1000 and allowed to pay the other 500 the following month! I am ready for a new vehicle and am returning today. When I called Christina remembered me from several years ago and was more than willing to work with me again! If you go in with little or no credit and little down payment these guys will work very hard to get you into a vehicle. Please keep in mind they are amazing but not miracle workers. Dont expect a 2018 car when you have low credit and little down! I have seen some bad reviews on here but please be reasonable guys!

Friendly, but unhelpful. The questions we had were glossed over just so they could try to get an upsale even telling my fiance that they guaranteed her a car only to come back and tell her after hours there at the dealership that they wanted a ridiculous amount to get the Only car she wanted or they could get her in some trash. If you have they $3,500 an up they require you can go to a bigger dealership with better selection and rebates.

Great and reasonbile buy car

Ive been trying to get a car for a few months. Because I am starting out with no credit, it has been harder. Tranum said they could finance me and took my info (phone number, social, etc.) to start looking for compatible vehicles and prices.I had to call the dealer that was suppose to be helping me multiple times throughout the day because I was only in town for that day. After about 5 hours, he finally got back to me (around 4pm) on his own and said that he had found a few cars that might work. I drove to the dealership (got there about 5:15pm) only to learn that the cars were not on their lot, and that the lot that had to cars closed at 4pm. If you are a young driver, like myself and are looking for a dealership that will finance you without credit and a co-signer, I would think twice before going with Tranum Auto Group. I wasted a whole day, waiting around, just to find out that I couldnt even look at the cars.

We bought a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon and the staff was great, especially Bobby (sales), Charles (sales) and Christine. Dont go if you arent really ready to buy because they are efficient at what they do.

The floor manager greeted me as I walked in and upon finding out who I was and why I was there, completely shut me off and wouldnt allow me to speak. He also wanted me gone asap. The guy had no idea I know the Tranums personally. Many of my family members have worked with them in the past. Due to the complete unprofessionalism of the floor manager I would never suggest this place to any of my customers.

When I arrived at Tranum, I had just left from Ringler Toyota dealership across the highway. The Ringler dealership tried to sell me an 07 Toyota Camry with 141,000 miles on it, for 10,000$ but when I went to Tranum, they sold me a 10 Camry with 90,000 miles! For the same price! Three years newer and 50,000 fewer miles. for the same price. and they were much more pleasant to deal with too. it was laid back and I would definitely recommend buying cars from Tranum. I had the pleasure of dealing with Justin. Justin took me seriously, he listened to what I said, and he very knowledgeable, professional and courteous throughout the transaction. Go Tranum!

Tranum took great care of me on my car deal. I bought a 2009 Mercedes C300 and I love it! I got my first 4 oil changes free and I have never had an issue getting my car taken care of. Steve Hinds, the gerneral manager, took great care of me from start to finish and made sure i got the best deal. Tranum Auto Group in Temple Texas is the place to shop for a nice pre-owned vehicle!

I bought a 2012 GMC sierra about 3 years ago and it broke down with an a week or two, it wouldnt start and it would shake, when i looked at it i found out it didnt had an air filter and got all kinds of warning lights on the dash, took it back to get it fix and they still charged me another 300 plus dollars and the truck kept acting up, it would die on the middle of the road. I pay about $27,000 dollars to tranum for a totally Non reliable truck. Due to my experience i Do Not recommend this dealer.

The the sales people are unprofessional. They assumed what kind of person I was and recommended me beat up 90s cars that I told them I had no interest in. I told them I was looking for a truck but suggested the vehicles that were the exact opposite. They told me that I didnt need a truck and kept pushing me junker cars. This was my first visit to the dealership and I dont expect to go back until they change their staff.

Bought a used Benz in May of 17, deal was good car was great. Got 2 free oil changes, got its first one the beginning of Jan didnt even drive the mileage at all even though was over due. Wife called to get the oil change scheduled this month, and this rude ass dude Juan tells her, its gonna cost 100 bucks because shes overdue and she has to use her 2 free oil changes within a year, and its not his fault they didnt explain that to her when she bought the car a year ago. Really, Juan? So I guess this rating is based off that one stupid ass dude who doesnt like his job. Got her oil changed in Waco, where we live, for less than they wanted to charge me. Plus my wife didnt get treated like shit. So if you want your wife to get treat like shit when you need an oil change, then this is your spot. Thanks Juan!

I drove an hour out of my way to visit this dealership. I arrived at their opening time of 9am. I waited fifteen minutes in their showroom, and no-one came out and even spoke to me. I had communicated several times with the internet sales individual, and I thought this would be a good experience. That combined with damage to the vehicle that I was looking at which was not disclosed makes this dealership absolutely unacceptable. i will also be contacting CarFax to inform them that the dealership is not disclosing damage to vehicles which they are selling with CarFax designations.
