I can’t say enough of how disgusted I am by this dealership!From the financing department-Carrie who financed my car with chase bank? and didn’t even attempt to finance it through BMW at a better interest rate, then sold me 6k worth of unnecessary warranties! I’ve been trying to get the cancelled policies returned to the finances since cancelling them in June. Only one cancellation has been returned. I’m having to constantly chase them down and am given every excuse in the book being told it’s been sent when my finance company hasn’t received it and are shocked themselves as to what’s going on! Additionally I put 18k down on the car but they put 15k on the contract which I didn’t catch. This was caught months later and 3k returned, however that was 3k that should have reduced the loan and interest and all I got was a “sorry” The manager for the finance - Carrie made continuous excuses and took no responsibility. So where exactly has that 3k been since June!? and why aren’t they trying to compensate me for a completely disorganized and inept management of my financing? My advice is do NOT use this dealership! They have shady practices and don’t give a dam once they’ve sold you a vehicle! I’m now going to write to Garlyn Shelton and let him know what his “staff” have done to me’

I went to Garland Shelton Cadillac on 24 MAR 2021 for an appointment with Amanda Meeks. She “no-showed” me, and did not respond to my text. I remained on the lot for 30 minutes interested in a specific vehicle, and no one spoke a single word to me. The greeter, the sales staff, they all saw me, but made a conscious decision to ignore me. I left work to buy a vehicle, so not only did I expend my paid time off to attend a set appointment, but I was treated poorly for making the effort to purchase locally. Garland Shelton does have their success stories, but no follow-up is a standard theme. I have encountered the same problem of no “follow-up” from the BMW, Mazda, and Volkswagen dealership, all within the last 45 days while I have been actively looking for a vehicle. When it comes time to trade-in my BMW, it surely will not be within the Garlands Shelton Auto Group. At this point I’ll knuckle under and make the drive to Austin and likely come back with a 2nd new car on the same trip; all because I cannot get the local paid sales staff to follow-up to complete a sale.

Amanda Meeks completely lied about the price and availability of a vehicle. I had communicated with her on several occasions so that I didn’t have to make a wasted trip. I can’t even blame my wonderful salesperson, Debbie Shepherd, because all of my communication was done through Amanda...she called herself the Internet Manager. If this is the way “Internet” is done, especially during covid, do not buy from Garlyn Shelton, especially Amanda Meeks. I went through weeks of negotiating with her only to be disappointed. It’s driven me away from the brand entirely.

I was traveling from Dallas down to San Antonio when my BMW M3 indicated I needed a quart of oil. I normally stop into my BMW dealer when that happens and they add the oil and I’m back on the road within minutes. I called Garlyn Shelton and was told it would require an appointment or there would be a long wait. But luckily I could get an appointment in about an hour. What? Stopped at BMW of San Antonio (and they were truly busy at the time). They had me in and out within 10 minutes. Spectacular, courteous, timely service.

Avoid! I got a car last year, from salesman Adam Crow. It was a 2013 Kia Soul marked less than $10K. He claimed that it had to be marked up because of my finance company. I negotiated a deferred down payment and drove off. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My sales price was almost $15K. Adam harassed me by text message for the remaining down payment, often claiming he would be on the street and that he couldnt afford his mothers medications if I didnt get it paid in time. I have put so much money into this POS car. The front wheels are bent inward, someone crammed the wrong size fuses into the housing under the hood, the headlights have gone out twice in the year, I discovered that the connections to the headlights were burnt, and a different salesman within Garlyn Shelton admitted that I got SCREWED OVER by Adam. I still owe TWICE what my car is worth and cant even get rid of it. No one will use it as a trade in, and I want nothing more than to bash this car with a sledgehammer. So far, Ive put over $1,200 in repairs so far in the last 4 months. AVOID THIS AUTO GROUP!!!!

I went in for a tune up and to get my Catalytic converter relpaced on my GMC Sierra. These people quoted me for over $2500. So I told them that I just wanted a tune up and they quoted me at $500. When I got to the shop they charged me $795. They didnt even was my truck like they said they were going to. On top of that I had to get transmission replaced on this vehicle when I bought from this same exact place 3 months earlier. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. They just want your money. Dont go here

My salesman Dana was great to work with. Had a couple of issues that he got taken care of before car was even released from the lot. Problem began when I noticed the brake pedal had a lot of travel and began pulling right at speed when braking and starting making a rubbing sound. I contacted Dana and he said should not be having problems that quick and to bring the car in and they would check it out. Came back 4 days later and was told service manager Bobby Dodd said there was nothing wrong and that he drove it and physically checked brakes. Well I drove it back home and same thing still happening and rubbing had gotten worse. Parked the car didnt want to do more damage. Had a mechanic come to the house. He pulled the pads and wow!! It was metal on metal imagine that! Guess Bobby missed that. Well 200 dollars later and now have to have rotors replaced all because the service manger said he checked it? If he did at all! I emailed the dealership and no response.

Seem like nice people, but they sold me a truck that had a huge scratch on it. I had the truck delivered, I guess thats a risk you take when you buy online. Still, they could have told me about the scratch. Seems pretty dishonest. I tried contacting them several times, but they didnt respond. Would not buy from again.
