From the honest and considerate work to the quick in & out timeframe, Don Ringler and his team (Kyle Havens in sales, Morgan in finance) made purchasing my first vehicle a breeze. The establishment is clean and well-kept, I was consistently made comfortable, and I love everything about my purchase. The gentlemen who worked on this car deal for me were so friendly and knowledgeable. They even took the time out of their Saturday to personally deliver my car to me (thank you Kyle!!) Their Dealership would not stop calling me to buy my vehicle. For almost a month nonstop borderline harassment. I took the vehicle to them twice. The first time they wouldn’t take it cause they wanted a newly printed title. The second time they said that “they’d have to go through it with a fine tooth comb and be charged for a motor.”Maybe people have had better experiences purchasing and selling to them but I’ve wasted 5 hours driving back and forth to their dealership because of nonstop phone calls to buy my vehicle. I’ll never recommend anyone goes here or does business with them based on my experiences. They sound pretty desperate for vehicles to turn them down.For any curiously, the vehicle in question is a 2012 Yukon XL fully loaded. DVD players and all. Super clean. Was a police chiefs vehicle. All passenger seats were never even used. I’ll give a vehicle away before wasting my time here.

This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve had. The salesman James was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jason from finance took the time to discuss the different interest rates that come with the different loan terms to help make a decision on which one would work best for me. Morgan from finance also showed me the process they use to find a lender offering the best interest rate. I got a new vehicle and knowledge at the same time. The entire team at Don Ringler was amazing even those not directly involved with the sale.

Sean Campbell has been fantastic!! We communicated via text prior to me making the 40+ mile drive. I had my sights on a particular vehicle, and he knew I didnt want to make the drive if it wasnt available. He texted me immediately when the vehicle was no longer available. I hate car dealerships. I really hate car dealerships. Nearly everyone I go to Im leached into, pressured into a car I cant afford, and talked to like Im 12.Until now! Don Ringler has some of the best staff Ive seen at a dealership. The salesman didnt act like me buying the car or not depended on if he got to pay rent for another month. I didnt feel pressured at all. Also James in finance is awesome. He didnt pressure for the warranty and was respectful too.I love my used Mazda CX-5 and got it for a great price.

I’m a previous proud owner of a Chevy Colorado. I loved that little truck, great on gas and used it for camping, fishing and biking. A year ago I bought my 2020 Chevy Colorado here and I’ll admit the car buying experience was great especially since I started the buying process while I was in a different country. They where able to hold it for me and deliver it to me when I got into Texas. But 3 months into having the truck I started having issues with the truck and all they could say was “oh that’s normal” or “we couldn’t find anything wrong with it”. Also, when I was buying the truck the sales person was raving about they’re one year bumper to bumper warranty stating that it covered any scratches, bumps or dents. But, when I brought it in ( before the year was up) to get some of those things fixed the manager told me that it wasn’t covered in the warranty. Just recently I took the truck in to get a few things looked at and left it with them for a whole week just for them to tell me that “it’s normal and no issues where found”. If it was normal it would have been making that noise to begin with and I wouldn’t have wasted my time or the service departments time with it. To me it just seems like they didn’t want to admit to it having an issue so that they wouldn’t have to cover it under warranty. Which I wouldn’t have an issue paying for it as long as the issue was resolved and the service was done correctly. Some of the issues with the truck can be potentially hazardous but yet nothing was done to correct the issue. Therefore, I’m extremely disappointed in the way that Don Ringler runs it’s business and will no longer be going there for any other maintenance or future purchases.

Exceptional buying experience. Bar none the absolute BEST dealership & Team in the area. Assisted me “virtually” while we were in the middle of this Texas Winter Storm. Very responsive and friendly. Made sure I got the exact vehicle with the exact options I was looking for. A family approach to sales but very professional. Opun arrival I was immediately meet by not one but two sales staff asking if I needed assistance. Not the typical approach you get at most dealership. Staff is very knowledgeable about their product and readily available to answer all questions. Sales presentation was non threatening, no pressure. Moving into finance, the manager there was thorough offering various product support as needed, without the feeling of being pressured to buy. It was time for a new truck. Have dreaded buying one because of my past experiences with pushy sales people. After mentally readying myself I began the journey. I had been pricing vehicles on other dealers sites and was not impressed with what I saw so I reached out a bit further and looked at Don Ringler and knew it was time to make a move. BLUF: They did the job required, but I have concerns about the quality.Came outside one morning to find that my car had no oil pressure. Did not attempt to drive it and had it immediately towed to Don Ringler. The staff was friendly and accommodating. As far as customer service interactions I have no complaints.My car ended up requiring an engine swap due to the failure; an extremely involved repair for any mechanic.I was originally told the car would be ready in two to three weeks. No big deal. But three weeks soon became four, four became five and after almost two months I finally got the car back. I understand there can be complications and technical issues, but I was surprised at the extra length required for this.My concerns really began upon picking up the car. As I got in the car to drive off I felt it pulling to the right. Cycling through my car information I realized that the tires had dropped pressure over the course of the months off the road and had not been inspected before giving the car back. No sooner had I noticed this then the tire light turned on. I hadnt even left the lot.Within a few minutes of getting my car back I had to immediately take it off the road again to put air in the tires.I was annoyed, but thought perhaps I was being too strict about what I expected from the dealer. After all my car had needed an engine replacement maybe they hadnt given the tires a look over before they returned the car.2 days after this however, I went out to start my car and found it dead. Nothing would turn over at all. Taking a look at the battery, I realized that the negative terminal of the car had not been tightened at all. It had been loosely hanging on.I was honestly surprised that I had been able to turn the car on at all. My guess was that it must have been just tight enough that the current was able to start the car the first couple days, but had come loose over the last two days. Enough so that I had to go grab my tool kit and tighten it back to standard.These seem like trivial things right? I suppose thats one way to look at them. I was able to resolve them without having to bring the car back obviously.However in my experience, the quality of an Automotive Repair is based on the little things. No sooner had I got my car back then I immediately had to do the most basic of automotive maintenance on it. These are simple checks that are done at every oil change shop, much less at a place where I paid over $8,000 for a repair.With that magnitude of an investment you would think that they would at least tighten up the battery cables back to standard. If they cant be expected to perform these simple 101 checks before giving a car back to the customer, what does that suggest about the quality of their other work?For now my car runs, albeit with a few new noises, but Im going to chalk that up to the new engine for now.However I have to say that I am now looking to immediately sell my car. I feel like I can no longer trust it. If these minor nuances were overlooked by the shop who is to say they didnt overlook other more serious things?The staff was great and I wish them the best but I find myself no longer able to trust my vehicle.

My husband went to the dealership to look at a Chevy truck. He dealt with Charlie Cook. He had a trade in, which he knew he would be upside down on, but wanted to see if a deal could be made. He stayed at the dealership over 2 hours, before he left with assurances that someone would be in touch if the financing could go through. Now, its fine if the deal couldnt be made, we didnt really need the truck in the first place, but someone could have had the decancy to at least CALL my husband and let him know. 3 days later and still not a word from anyone. My husband shouldnt be treated as less of a person just because of financial reasons. He shouldnt be discarded and not even worth the time it would take to make a call.We will probably buy a new truck in the future, but it WONT be from this dealership, and we will make sure all our friends know what to expect if they do decide to shop here. WE WONT BE BACK.

Ask for the service advisor Ryan he is one of the best and is the primary reason I keep going back. He takes a real interest in your situation and is very thorough and understanding. I purchased a brand new vehicle from this dealership in 2016 and have had nothing but issues since day one. Not only did I need to have a WHOLE NEW ENGINE REPLACED, but also the pistons, and several other items that needed repairs. The problem I am having now is the factory paint has “crows feet” or paint checking which has been confirmed by two professional body shops as well as this dealerships service manager who refuses to do assist at all with it! For a 4 year vehicle that is well taken care of it should NOT have this many issues. GM and Don Ringler DO NOT stand by their products. I have been patient but am beyond frustrated now. I am writing this in hopes of saving someone from going through the same headaches and expenses caused by a dealership that refuses to help its customers. Consider all of your options and if you can get a vehicle anywhere else, I recommend it!UPDATE:Their proposed “assistance” is only 10 percent of a 1500 job. What vehicle after four years has this kind of paint damage?-when reported to you, you initially took almost three weeks to even get back to me so I’m not sure who you were calling because I did confirm my number with management before I left- my mother has nothing to do with this vehicle. My sister co-signed yes and she also confirmed she received no call.I can see no reasonable solution will be offered.

Other than one hiccup with a referral I didnt receive, Ive done business with Don Ringler exclusively in this area since 2001. James Knuth, who Ive bought 2 vehicles from STILL sends me birthday and Christmas cards. I just purchased a brand new 2021 from Charlie Cook as well. Honestly, other than that issue with not getting a referral Because it wasnt physically documented in the computer, Ive always been treated like I was the only one in the place. Theyre straight shooters who will take care of you!

My service advisor was excellent. However, I dropped my truck off on 5/28 for multiple reasons and received a call from my service advisor 5/29 stating that he had not heard anything regarding the status of my truck but that he would get an update And call me back. I received a call from him late that afternoon saying the truck was completed and ready for pick up. I arrived Saturday morning (5/30) to pick up my truck and met with my service advisor. When I looked at my truck there were 2 plastic panels removed and sitting in the floor boards of the truck, I asked my service advisor to come out and look at what I had found. He then said he was going to bring the service manager out to look as well. When my service advisor returned (with out the service manager) he asked if I could leave the truck with them until Monday because the service manager wanted the technician who worked on my truck to resolve the issue and have a talk with him, I agreed and left my truck over the weekend. On Monday 6/1 I received a phone call from my service advisor stating the truck was ready for pick up so I went to the dealership after work to pick it up. That plastic panels were not installed correctly so I again showed the service advisor and he took the truck back in the shop to get them installed correctly. I was given a free oil change guarantee from my service advisor for my troubles which I appreciate. I am not happy with the fact that the service manager never came out and spoke with me directly and I think that goes to show why the technicians have the work ethic they have. I am hoping that the service department can handle something as simple as an oil change and I do not plan on returning to the dealership for anymore service needs.

He took the time to show us each car we were interested in and made sure we got a great deal, and Jason in finance showed us all the options to get us a payment we could deal with and the best options for us. We knew they were amazing from our first purchase and the second purchase was no exception. Great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

There service department has no sense of customer loyalty. We have a 2020 Tahoe that had a faulty brake caliper and was spraying brake fluid everywhere. Next appointment for warranty work was over a week out. Mind you we had no brakes, they did not seem to care. Now the GMC dealer down the street did the warranty repair even though they are not supposed to warranty Chevrolet with no problem as it was an emergency repair. We moved to Temple about a year ago and are life long Chevy owners, But will never buy a vehicle from Don Ringler Chevrolet. I work in service sales and if you cant meet the customers needs they will take there business elsewhere. Also we will be contacting GM about there lack of customer loyalty.
