Excellent experience buying a car here. I worked in the used auto industry for many years and am highly critical of the car-buying experience in general. CarLotz let me purchase the vehicle on my terms and made it very easy. George was laid back and low-pressure, but also professional, responsive, and answered all of my questions.The pricing was very aggressive and no-haggle (which I tried). I enjoy the negotiating process, but I respect companies that offer their best price upfront. Vehicle warranty cost was less than my credit union. Dealer fee of $699 was transparent, average amount for independent dealers, less than franchise dealers. No other fluff or games with pricing.The car (2018 BMW 5 series) was in great shape. I had an appointment and the car was waiting for me when I got there. Finalized all of the paperwork online while at work, went to pick up the car after work and it was ready to go. Options presented quickly and fairly. Process was simple and mostly painless. That is pretty good for a car dealership!I chose the option of having them purchase my car outright. We discussed what needed to be repaired on my car, and we came to a reasonable agreement.It’s not often I leave a car dealer and don’t feel cheated.This was not too bad. I would sell them another car, for sure.

Incredibly simple, honest, stress free experience with Ron selling my car today. The price was fair and the process was very accommodating. We were looking for cars and found one that we were interested in at CarLotz and decided to stop by. This location is right off 275 North. There were no salesman outside so you have to go in and talk to someone. We spoke with a sales rep and he gave us the keys to test drive which was nice so you can get an unbiased review of the car and its driving by yourself. Unfortunately, the car reeked of cigarette smell. The sales rep offered to ozone it for us to get rid of the smell but it would an hour. We went back home and waited and didnt hear from them until the next day. I really wish they did the ozone thing before they put the car on the lot. Im glad they didnt because I have a 5 month old that I dont want to get the lingering affects of the second or third hand smoke.
