We purchased a vehicle based on video, photos, and conversations with Jose. We live out of state and had the vehicle shipped to us. When we received the vehicle, it had been severely altered and damaged from the video and photos. The car was very dirty inside even though they said they had it detailed for us. As these alterations were undisclosed to us at time of purchase we reached out to Angel and Jose to give them an opportunity to correct the situation. They denied any wrong doing and refused to allow us to return the damaged vehicle. We are now having to take the situation through legal channels. Buyers beware!!

These people are shady. They lied major about this vehicle. They tampered with the check engine light. I discovered that they disconnected the check engine light. I Purchased this vehicle on a Saturday. Drove it home and on Monday the transfer case and rear driveshaft sub stained major failure in the rear differential also sustained major failure. There was six codes that the scan tool read. All of which should have had a check engine light on. The mechanic explained that the light was disconnected and was tampered with. This is fraud. I have attached a quote for the amount of damage that was done. That quote is for over$5300. I paid $6600.When I had the mechanic inspect the vehicle he also informed me that the engine had been replaced. The dealership did not inform me that there was a replacement engine in this car.Mechanic also informed me that this vehicle has sustained major front end collision damage and most of the front and have been replaced. He stated that the parts used for all cheap aftermarket parts also.I called the dealership and inform them of my miss fortune and they were absolutely no help in anyway. I would never want anyone to suffer through what I am currently going through.I truly hope that By me sharing my unfortunate experience with This shady car dealer that you can avoid them at all cost.All the questions I asked them about the vehicle or straightforward questions. And every time their response was “the car drives perfect the car is perfect condition. You won’t find a better car.” All lies.

My wife a I flew down from GA to purchase a vehicle from Ramos Auto Sales. Gabriel was kind enough to pick us up from our hotel in Tampa. After looking at the vehicle, we decided to purchase another vehicle back home. However, Gabriel was polite the whole time and he was kind enough to refund our $1000 deposit. Nadian, his office person was very kind also.

Spoke with Jose Montilla over the phone about a white GX 470 and was flat out lied to about the cosmetic and mechanical condition of the vehicle. He knew I would be flying 7 hours to come see the vehicle and he assured me at the vehicle ran perfectly and was “beautiful”. He was also very clever with how he took interior pictures to hide its real condition. He claimed the timing belt and water pump had been replaced and there was a sticker to prove the replacement, but it was a sticker for the air filter replacement(he knew the difference when I confronted him). He claimed the breaks were done, turns out it was only the rear breaks. The transfer case would not lock(a $2k repair at a dealership), the windows would not roll down from the driver door, dashboard was cracked in many places, there was rust spots in the paint on the grille, there was clunking noises from under the vehicle on hard stops, RSCA does not deactivate, the drivers seat was not completely bolted down, etc...he had even been using the vehicle for personal reasons and told me he recently drove the car to Miami, so HE KNEW about its true condition and lied to me anyway to get me 7 hours away, hoping that I would have come all that way and just said “well, I’m already here” and just buy the vehicle anyway. Ended up flying back home, spending a grand total of 14 hours on a plane in one day. Jose Montilla is a scumbag, and Ramos is not exactly the most welcoming place to be either.

The sales and office people at Ramos were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. I did not feel any pressure at all. I was given all the time I needed to evaluate the truck which was advertised accurately and was priced very fairly. I would recommend Ramos if they have a vehicle that fits your needs.

They hide the check engine light. Went back and paid money to fixed nothing was fixed! It was total nightmare! BE CAREFUL!!!
