I took my car to them and it took them 2 months to even look at my car. Just to tell me they got the wrong engine. They cost me so much time that Ill never get back and put me in an extremely difficult situation. Worst service I have ever received, I wouldnt recommend them to ANYONE!!
I took my vehicle in for an obvious throbbing noise and major heavy vibration that occurs when accelerating between 10 and 25 MPH. Three attempts, $2,000.00 plus, total of two months in their possession and I still have the same issue. I’m being advised by the owner and cashier, that this is a minor issue due to the vehicle having 230K miles. I have given this shop more business than I should have with the same results . It’s only because they are conveniently near my home and we are in a sense, neighbor’s. It’s very unfortunate as a whole, they aren’t honest or reliable (Owner, Cashier or mechanics). If you have to use them (not that I am recommending you do) test drive your vehicle before paying, if it is not fixed then don’t pay. Valuable lesson learned.
Went in for work on my BMW for services light . They found out what was wrong with it put the part on and it came off 61 miles down the road light came back on checked under the hood found the price down and also found his wrench cost 610.00. Now it will cost 218.00 with another shop.
Honest, professional, reliable, affordable, exceptional work. Raymond and Co go above and beyond for their customers, who become friends. Theyve been servicing my Mercedes for years and have kept my old car tip top, and safe. Thanks Autobahn!
Owner is very honest. Will work you in same day if possible. Fair price.
Great staff and ownership! They go above and beyond for their customers.
Excellent BMW repair location. They do not offer valet service to get you anywhere. When getting a quote make sure you are talking to a person authorized to quote jobs and appointments. Nice people.
Good for simple issues. Oil changes
DO NOT GO HERE. THERE IS SOME SHADY BUSINESS HAPPENING HERE. I took my car here for a simple issue fixing my intake manifold flap, and then found myself with a leak in my fuel tank afterwards. I got a diagnosis from the Mercedes dealer themselves prior to coming, and there was NOTHING wrong with my fuel tank. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
A couple of weeks ago I accidentally knocked off about 1/3 of the front left bumper of my Honda Odyssey while backing out of the garage.Yesterday, I called the first body shop I found on google. Raymond, the owner, mentioned they normally deal with BMW/German cars but that I can swing by and he would take a look. Raymond and one of his mechanics, David, assessed the damage (which took about 5 or 10 mins) and told me I need to get a new front, left spacer from the dealer and David could repair the bumper. I asked Raymond how much it would cost and he said he wouldnt charge me.I returned to the body shop the next day with the part (which was $16 at the dealer) and within a minute David started working on fixing the bumper with the new part. It took about 15 minutes and the bumper looks pretty great. I asked Raymond what I owe him and he said nothing.I am honestly shocked that I walked out paying nothing to the owner (I gave David an unsolicited cash tip). I wanted to share my experience as I rarely experience this kind of lending hand. Raymond and David had no reason to help me for free and with such promptness. I truly appreciate what they did.Thank You Raymond and David!!!
I have been using Autobahn for all my BMW repair work for close to 10years and I am very pleased with the level of professionalism and competence they display. I am usually very skeptical when I get quotes from mechanics and whether they do quality repairs. With Raymond and his capable assistant Melissa, they have always quoted me the best price and serviced my car very well. That is why I use them and recommend them to friends for repair work. I really appreciate their exceptional level of customer service and commitment to getting the job done properly.
I have gone to this place in the past to get work done. Just left with a bill of $109 to replace a light bulb and check why windshield fluid wasnt coming out. $10 bulb and guy spent 5 minutes to replace bulb and look at windshield wiper fluid issue. Was definitely fleeced on this and will no longer patronize this business. Anyone reading this review should look else where for an honesty trust worth business.
The staff is amazing and very friendly! I love this place I won’t go to another auto shop!
Ive fixed my BMW here a few times, and have had a great experience with them everytime. I appreciate the fact that they are honest about the work that needs to be done instead of trying to squeeze money out of you like other shops. Reasonably priced as well.
I do not recommend this company at all they are all about money. Your car DO NOT get fixed, but they still want to charge you an arm and leg. They are full of you know what. The receptionist is also a liar. She told the mechanics that I requested work to be done on my vehicle just so they can make money when I never asked her to have them do nothing. I pointed out to her what they were supposed to have done, but yet I’m still having the same problems. Get out of here
They are very dishonest when dealing with WOMEN!!! I went in because the car was running hot, and the check engine light was on. My car repair cost $485.00. When I left the car was still running hot, and I was advised that there was a problem with the transmission NOW! Of course, the check engine light came back on while traveling home. I called back to ask them what did I pay them $485 for because the car is in worse condition than when I brought it in? Raymond, the owner, said they had to clean the transmission. Clean the transmission??? So, I guess this is why I have a transmission problem NOW! They simply re-set the check engine light, cleaned the transmission which is now malfunctioning and will cost me MORE money, and the car is still running hot. So, I paid them $485.00 to ruin my transmission. CROOKS!
The service at Autobahn Imports is unparalleled. They serviced our 2007 BMW 530i and it runs like new. This is the third repair shop I have been to, but my experience has been the best. Thanks for your great workmanship and customer service.
Do not go here. The owner will make it look like hes doing you a huge favor and takes advantage of people that dont know about cars. Heres what you dont know. Do some research on aftermarket parts V.S. Factory parts. After market are cheaper parts and he will tailor the price to what he wants it to be without using percentages or what he needs to price it as to make a profit. (It depends on his guessing skills. Which is why the price isnt always the same.)Without the mechanics this place would run to the ground. The mechanics are honest and are hard workers who deserves a place that isnt disorganized and has to lie to cover the Owners butt. The body shop man is never there either so if you want something fixed body wise it doesnt matter how small the job is, he makes up a bs reason to keep the car longer.
The owner and workers are very honest. They tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. I drive a BMW M3 and I usually save hundreds if not thousands of dollars coming here. Theyve never steered me wrong and have earned my business.
My BMW Z3 broke down and Atobahn helped me get my car towed and replaced the clutch in a timely manner. They were extremely professional and gave me very reasonable rates for the part and labor. Very professional people, I would recommend them to anybody and will be going there for my future services and tune ups.
Best place for bmw repair great customer service and aweome and honest people
I absolutely love these guys. I have a 2002 330i and anytime anything goes wrong I come to Autobahn. They explain to me what is going on and what steps I need to take to fix it. They dont take advantage and they are customer oriented
I am an enthusiast myself, have been working on cars for a while. On January 2nd 2017 I took my 330i BMW with lean codes because I could not diagnose the issue and wanted a specialty tech as they proc-lame they are to take a look.I previously scanned the car and data logged it. The car was throwing p174 codes. I smoke tested the intake prior the visit and did not find any vacuum leaks and have conducted various tests and could not tell exactly what the issue was so I took it to the service to let the so proclaimed professionals to tell me what the hack is wrong. They took the car and 45 min after told me that the spark plugs or coils are bad, or wiring on the cylinder 1, to me it sounded like none sense right away. Because I had new plugs and coils not even a month old. Then the guy just started repeating what the scan tool tells him, which I also have so it sounded extremely stupid.I asked have they swapped the coils around to see if anything changed? The guy just avoided eye contact and did not produce any confident response. They basically charged me $45 to tell me what their stupid scan tool reads They have not discovered anything new or anything exact wrong with the car.I doubt they are any more professional than any average guy on the street with a scan tool. I would not trust them any repair.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Worst owner and worst body shop. Do not go here. They are the worst human beings ever.
Raymond has been working my Beemers for the past 4 years, Reasonable rates, much better than the showrooms. Awesome service too !!! I have moved 40 miles away from Smyrna, but still I take my car here, when it wants to see a doctor.
I had my Mercedes and my wifes BMW serviced here and they treated me like kings, very helpful and kind and reasonable prices if you have a German car and need it service this is the place to go!!!!
Thief stole my oil cover under the car.I just picked up my car today and the oil pan cover was missing. I asked him where it is and he said he had no idea. He said the guy who towed my car had it. Then i called the towing guy and he said he doesnt have it neither. The oil cover was attached to the car with 2 screws. My car was towed on a flat bed and so how did the cover come off? Both Autobahn and the towing company are lying. And now I have to go buy the oil cover, which is $68. Autobahn probably has the cover and is probably selling it to someone else right now. Crook just like other people said. Dont come here unless you want your parts stolen.
Stay away from these crooks!!!! I was in an accident on nov. 13 and my car was in the shop until December 7. Drove it and it was drifting to the right and tire rubbing against the strut obviously bent but they said it just needed an alignment. I go to Goodyear for an alignment and they wont touch my car because half of the suspension was replaced and the other half were still old parts even though Autobahn claimed they fixed it. I take it back to them they claim to fix it now the car drifts hard to the left. Between them and the insurance company argueing like children it took 3 months for them to determine my car should have been totaled because of severe frame damage. Literally every alignment issue you could think of was wrong with my car. The toe and canter were so far off Goodyear told me to total it because it wouldnt be worth fixing.Several other shops I have taken my car to has said autobahn imports are butchers and dont what they are doing. Geico is investigating them for fraud!!!They took their money claiming to fix my car with new own parts while they replaced with rusty junk yard parts only one part was new and had no records to show when requested. I didnt have car rental coverage so I was renting cars for over 3 months totaling over$2500!!! That could have went towards a down payment for a better car if they had just been honest in the first place!!i beg you go anywhere else!!!
Peoces better than dealet
I have a 2003 Mercedes E320 and i had a problem with the air condition i was taking my car to other repair shops close to Autobahn for many years and they gave me a estimate of 2,850 to repair the problem with my air condition. I was speaking to my neighbors and they recommend that i get a second opinion from auto bahn imports so i did i gave them a call and took my car in. They checked the car and told me that i didnt need half of the things the other place gave me a quote on so i gave them the car to fix i saved over $2,000 by taking my car to them.i am glad that i have found them they are very honest and there customber service is very good. No wonder they have been in bussiness for over 30 years
Raymond is a lier and a cheat. He told me he could work on my range rover....then aftwr it sat their for months said he couldnt because a repair guy quit....then warned me to move the car somewhere else. My car was raped while there and he would not take responsibility for it. My speakers and whole sound (bose) sound system was taken out of the car. Due to being a tight situation after months of dealing with him, he referred me to another lier and a cheat, who never fixed the car and i had to dupe in order to get my truck back after failed promises for months. Meanwhile im payinf insurance.on the car.while they are screwing me around....lier and a cheat....you have been warned!!!
I trusted Raymond to diagnose the problem on my car and correct it. Instead, he kept my car for over a month, charged me 1,866.00 and returned it with the same problem. Now, he is refusing to return my money or do the repairs. Please do not trust this repair shop.
Honest reliable body shop. Will take my 650 there for service as well.
Autobahan imports fixed a water leak on my 1994 Mercedes which other shops could not fixed charging a very reasonable price . The mechanics were competent and professional . highly recommended .K.Paknoosh
Terrible reception person, she is frazzled, hurried, disorganized, and unprofessional. They also do not respect your time, I made appointment and when I arrived at the time and on, there was no mechanic to help me. The female in office was perturbed when I asked for assistance from anyone else. I waited over 20 minutes and then left. I would never take my vehicle there and I dont recommend you do either.
Great customer service
I have been having my BMWs serviced here for years and they always have took care of me. Besides being a lot less than the BMW dealerships they have always been up front on what I really need to be fixed and what can possibly wait util the next visit.
That is the right place to repair my BMW friendly people
I was driving to Disney and my check engine light came on. I stopped at the first place I could find and it was Autobahn. Checked my car and put a little bit of oil in it, didnt charge me a dollar. I cannot thank them enough
Great service and excellent pricing!!!!
