Great experience. No market adjustment unlike many other local dealers. Straight forward with no selling B.S. Didnt try to take advantage of me with fees, during the finance paperwork process, etc. Robert was my Sales Consultant, and great to work with. He noticed a small appearance defect, which I may not have noticed, and proactively ordered a replacement part to correct... which would have been easy to not notice and make my problem. This Cadillac dealer needs technology to help the service department run more efficiently and give a modern experience to their customers. I had my other car, a Lexus, serviced the same day at a Lexus dealer and the experience was so informative and pleasant that I cant wait to take the car back for service, and to buy another Lexus. My Cadillac service was more comparable to a mediocre private shop. The people at this Cadillac service department are really great individuals, but they are not being set up for success, and they dont have the tools (software and training) to ensure a consistent, memorable service experience. I think they would benefit from seeing how the Lexus dealer a mile away conducts a scheduled service, and investing in tools and training.
Our car has been in the shop for over a month now because they had to replace the engine. Apparently, it snapped. My concern is that there is no ETA on when well get it back, and even worse, they have no system in place to provide a rental while they wait on the parts. I understand that the parts are made to order, however, I think customer satisfaction should come first.
TLDR:Beware- Attention to detail is LACKING, quality assurance is LACKING, and customer service is 50/50. I would AVOID this dealership unless absolutely necessary. First picture shows that they didn’t even take the time to reset my oil indicator after my service and oil change..second picture shows proof of mileage after their service..Kind of a multi part review:First off my guy Jeremie Staves needs a raise, he was great and very professional. He was my service advisor for my car repairs and did a great job at explaining the situation and communicating expected costs. I would probably use him again. I had a bit of trouble during my experience and he recognized that, I was given a $30 rebate which was cool.Secondly, as I’m waiting to pick my car up I had no choice but to overhear Enrique S. in the waiting room.. yelling at some technicians and appearing very rude. Customers even came up to him and he continued to be on a call to talk to his Vet about his dog or something? Dog medication maybe? Regardless, I found it pretty unprofessional from a Cadillac Dealership with customers waiting. Was pretty surprised honestly. I got the vibe he was a boss maybe? Sad to seem him talk down to others like he did, I think he was having a bad day.Lastly, mainly writing this because I got bored waiting on my car that was supposedly “ready for pickup”.. 30 minutes ago. I am now waiting at the dealership for over an hour. Hmm. Apparently it’s “literally just about ready”? Overall a MEDIOCRE experience at a TOP-TIER cost. On the bright side Bitcoin hit $60,000 again as I’m waiting.Tips:- greet customers when they walk in the door, don’t make them come to you awkwardly. Check engine light came on again, and car went into low power mode on I-75. Couldn’t accelerate, very dangerous situation.I called them at 5:30 or so because they were still open. Had to call the front desk literally 5 times because the call kept not going through when the lady dialed me to the service reps. Eventually, she called them herself to get someone. My representative unfortunately could not help nor had documentation of the codes that came up earlier today.Nonetheless, the error is not fixed unfortunately. From a quick Google search, I *think* the alternator is going bad. I am frustrated that Capital Cadillac said nothing about this during my full service. Not only did this put me in a dangerous situation, but also my car and now I feel hesitant about the other repairs done.I will be calling to see what can be done and update accordingly./edit 2Keeping 2/5.I called and talk to Mr. Doug Pierce, and he left a lot to be desired. I can get a free hour of checking my stuff out if I bring it back though. Haven’t decided if I’ll take it back there or to another shop.Still frustrating by having mis-communication by tech and dealership. What should have been said originally is “these CEL codes are likely representing such and such, here is what we could do to fix it. Want us to diagnose it further?”Instead, what happened was they wiped the codes and pulled the car out of the bay and were done with it. Odd./edit 3Just realized the dealership did not any reset my “Check Engine Oil Life” dashboard indicator when I had my oil change and service. It is still what it was prior to taking it there. Wow. Attention to detail and QA/QC is very lacking here.
I wish Capital Cadillac would step up there service. All the times I go there for my oil change they dont even finish the basic job must less if you ask them to do anything extra. This time I asked them to put in a little air in my tire which was low they failed to do it for me. Everytime I have my oil changed there they do something wrong or dont finish the basic maintenance oil changes. Like forgetting to do the cabin Filter forgetting to add windshield washer fluid. what else did they forget. Highly annoyed customer.
Puzzled…. I’ve utilized this dealership since 2013 for service on my 2012 CTS Wagon. Up until now, my reviews could only be stellar. My former service contact (Jason) was knowledgeable and professional.However, right now I’m a little puzzled by what’s going on with my service experience. I dropped my new car (2018 ATS Turbo) off about a week ago for diagnostic with vibration when driving between 30-50 miles per hour. I also told him there were many instances of this in the Cadillac forum and they were calling it driveline shudder. The new sales person (Mike) seemed new and not very knowledgeable. He told me it was probably in need of tire rotation. I told him that was not likely as It was done Two weeks prior, at the same location…..As mentioned, it’s been a week. Not one call from this guy. I called several times. Once speaking to a Mr. Sandoval. Who although very knowledgeable, informed me he was not my service person. He did advise that the suspension had been looked at and now they were looking at the transmission. I called again and spoke to a Michael who said I needed to call back and speak with Mike. (I’m now wondering if Mike and Michael are the same person).Calling again and finally getting “Mike”, he said all he could tell me was it was being looked at. I asked what were they looking at, he said the computer didn’t say… I asked him why hadn’t he called to advise me (5 days in), he says they only call when they have something to bill, and need permission.I cannot imagine how this is Capital Cadillac in Atlanta Service Department after my experience in years past. I almost had to check my phone to see if I had dialed the wrong number.Or maybe I was being punked and Ashton Kutcher was nearby in the bushes ready to show up with his camera 🎥 men.In any event, it’s been two days since I called Mike, and no word.Maybe I’m in the twilight zone and I should look for Rod Sterling……

This was my first luxury car purchase and it was the best experience that I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle! I purchased a white 2017 Cadillac XT5 and I am really enjoying my vehicle. I didn’t have to bring a lot of paperwork with me because the transaction was different than what I have experienced in the past. My salesperson, Mr. Randy Gibson, is a world class salesperson. I never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle. Everything moved at my pace! I will truly recommend this dealership, and my salesperson, to anyone I know who is in the market for a luxury vehicle!

Had a great easy experience but I’ve had a consistent tire issue going on since I purchased the car last November the front tire had a chunk missing when I purchased it to which I was told I would be receiving a check in the mail for replacement to which I never got and just got the run around on when I asked about it and now it’s to the point as of three days ago the tire won’t hold air so I go to get it fixed and the lock key the gave me for the locking lug nuts on the car is stripped out and useless so now I’m trying to find one local to no luck and the whole experience has definitely left a soured feeling when it comes to the service

First of all worst customer service ever! nobody came out to grab my car let alone when I walked in no one greeted me so I had to pick a window and let them know why I was there. Then on top of that the only refreshments were coffee and soda beverages and a paying snack machine. I was there 2 hours and a half waiting for my oil change 10 point inspection, in which I had an 11am appt. To top it off at the end of the service the guy dud not go over every thing that was done, he just handed me the receipt. I will never be back this is a Cadillac dealer and this is what I got. My Nissan dealer provided way better service!

I had a very pleasant car buying experience at Capital. The staff was very helpful and worked around some work responsibilities I had to take care of during the purchase process.Went back to Capital for the first service of my new vehicle. I had a previous vehicle serviced there multiple times over the last couple years but this is the first on my new vehicle that I just purchased a few weeks ago. I was told that the oil change and tire rotation would take between an hour and an hour and a half. After over two hours waiting on my vehicle, I had to go find my representative and ask what the issue was. After that, I still waited another 45 mins on my car. The total time was over 3 hours. I understand that they were busy and likely, as a lot of places are these days, understaffed. I can deal with that. Im cool with three hours if I know it up front. Just be honest with me.The main issue that I had while there was that the salesman who was seemingly my best friend just a few weeks earlier when I was filling his pockets with commissions, had absolutely no clue who I was as he walked past me several times while I sat near his office for over three hours. I saw him coming one time and stood up and turned and spoke directly to him. He still had no idea who I was. I could see if it had been a significant period of time since I had been there but it has literally been just a few weeks. I dont need balloons and confetti to fall from the ceiling every time I walk in, but it would be nice to at least be recognized and that my business be appreciated.
Sales department is great but service is woefully lacking and rude. Experience is always longer than necessary because they are unorganized and disrespectful of your time . Unprofessional from the moment you call and speak to the scheduler about a problem ( who wants to know why you waited so long to follow up on the problem) to the service provider (Sommers) who leaves you in waiting room for 2.5 unnecessary hours because he forgot you and never ONCE apologizes, in fact intimates it’s your own fault for being overlooked, to check out ( poor attitude always). They don’t deserve your business, definitely not mine .

Do not bring your car to the service department at Capital Cadillac! These people are not skilled enough to be trusted to repair your car properly. I DROVE my car in to this dealership on a Saturday and had to have it TOWED to Heritage Cadillac to be repaired after a week of dealing with Capital. This dealership charged me $2k for a repair that they stated would fix the issue after they ran their comprehensive diagnostic. The issue was not fixed, my car was worse and I had to pay to have it TOWED to another dealership. They offered me no courtesy vehicle for the week and did not give me status updates on my vehicle. Please DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR HERE.
Lee Wilson was very responsive and easy to work with. Because of the distance from where we live to Smyrna, all contact had to be made by internet, telephone and text messages. Everything went smoothly; all paperwork done by overnight FedEX and telephone. Of course we already knew the color and interior design from local Cadillac visits. Delivery was arranged by the Capital Cadillac Dealership and Lee Wilson. Vehicle loaded on the transport Friday night and off loaded on our street the next day. Perfect. Final setup of the electronics assisted by Lee/text messages after first drive. Could not have gone better.

Conflicting information and unneeded services suggested. Things being suggested were done less than six months ago.
I went to the service department for some mechanical issues with my vehicle. Expensive. They sprayed water all over my vehicle as a courtesy carwash which made the dust and dirt dry in gruesome patterns. The window in the back looked awful from the window wipers action.

I bought a used car about a month ago from Capital. While the buying process was easy and enjoyable that all changed when I started to discover that I got a lemon. In one month time I have come to find MAJOR problems with my car. The AC does not work properly. The transmission has started to slip at 41K miles. The driver front boot started clicking and it looks like it was repaired with contact cement. The TPMS sensors are bad. The drivers side seat belt will not retract after use and hangs down. The service manager says he cant work on my car because its not a Cadillac. There 6k mile used car warranty is useless if they cant do the work. I advise anyone thinking about buying a used car to avoid this place.This is a Update. after several phone calls with the service manager and the general manager Mr Chris. capital Cadillac did the right thing they fixed my vehicle it was covered under Cadillacs warranty they provided me with a loaner vehicle the general manager Chris along with my salesman Thom have gone above and beyond to make sure that I am happy. Chris even so far as to offer to cover extra expenses. I am very grateful to all who had a hand in making things right

Today, I had an appointment at Capital Cadillac to replace a headlight bulb. Upon arrival, I was told that the service would take an hour and a half to two hours because the bumper would need to be removed to access the headlight. Instead, I waited 3 hours and 40 minutes for the service to be completed, only receiving an update after 3 hours had already gone by. I decided to try Capital Cadillac because it is the closest Cadillac dealership to my home, but this was the first and last time.
Highly recommend this location and had a great experience with Don Wooten. He was quick to respond to my needs, always available to answer questions and overall one of the best sales reps I have experienced.Go check out Capital and ask for Don!
I bought a 2006 Lexus LX470 from these guys in the month of December and it was a smooth, painless purchase experience. They allowed me to send someone to look at the car and helped arrange to get it shipped to me in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The purchase process was all handled via email and FedEx and went smoothly.We even had a minor hiccup when I got the car, but they worked with me to make it right when I knew they didnt have to, given it was a used car and a sale is a sale. Going the extra mile helped and makes a difference. Next time I am in the market for a used car or have someone in Atlanta looking for a car, Ill recommend these guys.

Easiest car buying I have ever had. I showed up w all paper work ready for my signature. Was out in less than 1 hour. I have bought many new vehicles and always disliked the long paper work process and the time waiting for the vehicle to be ready.

I contacted Capital Cadillac to see if they’d be interested in buying my 14’ CTS, hoping to avoid the hassle of selling the car outright. This is the 3rd Cadillac that I’ve bought from Capital and my experience with them has generally been positive. I emailed with a sales rep on Monday and told him that I’d be by the following Wednesday.Wednesday, I emailed the same sales rep an hour before arriving, hoping that would expedite the process; it did not. When I arrived, the appraiser was in a meeting with his boss(es) and GM Corporate, so I agreed to wait. An hour later, I’m still waiting. There is apparently nobody else at this dealership capable of evaluating a vehicle. Nobody offered to step in or seemed at all interested. After more than an hour in the waiting room, I finally left.I took the afternoon off from work, drove 50 miles (70 min) round-trip from Woodstock, and waited for an hour for absolutely nothing.The next time I need something from a Cadillac dealer, Im going to Classic.

GM should be very proud of this car dealership Capital Cadillac in Smyrna, GA. They have taught and trained the proper management at that dealership and it truly shows from top to bottom. I have had the privilege to work with Jason Simmons in service and he is phenomenal. I will say it again and again, I have never come across anyone better honestly. Recently, I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet and spend time with several employees at this dealership in the service department. I can not say enough how kind, caring, always smiling and willing to be so helpful that they all are. I spoke with a young man the other day about cars and it was one of the more enjoyable car conversations that I have had over the years. The young ladies at the service desks are always so bubbly, laughing, smiling and super helpful. Especially in times like these, it is very special to be able to go to a car dealership and experience such wonderful professionalism and care.

I have purchased cars from Capital Cadillac for the last 10 years and until now I have been consistently satisfied (have purchased 5 cars in 10 years). While my salesman Peter has done an exceptional job as well as Jason in the service department, I have a 2018 ct6 hybrid that has been nothing but a headache. The management refuses to buy back this car which has had numerous mechanical failures including transmission and many electrical issues. Very disappointing.

Price on vehicle was raised from initial price given. understand the fact that I bought a used car, but I feel it should have been discounted due to multiple cracks in the windshield, and transmission issues. The car was not detailed at all after my purchase. There was wrappers, napkins, and trash left inside. Pictures of windshield and inside of car are posted.
Very satisfied with my service visit. Always kept me informed with updates. Enrique is a great service advisor. Will not purchase a car anywhere else but Capital Cadillac. Not my first rodeo.
