My van looks AMAZING!!!! Now Ill be the 1st to say that I am very skeptical when it comes to doing business with auto shops as my experiences have not always been the best. But they did an awesome job! Im a small business owner and I needed my van to give a certain look.I brought in a green van with a rusted top and hood and it is now sparkling silver. The guy at the front(short light brown black guy) was very attentive and professional. I got an amazing deal and I will be taking my Lexus to him next week.

Had 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck painted here. Original paint was fading away on hood and top. These guys did a great job. They were very courteous and respectful.I highly recommend them.

Never again….. I took my truck to get Painted it was white before and I told them I wanted them to paint it grey and they paint it white again…. When they finally painted it grey they over sprayed my wheels and didn’t paint the handles or the mirrors that I directly told them to paint and overspray even the engine and underneath the vehicle

All bad!!! I took my 1965 Ford Thunderbird there and they did a horrible job. Went to pick it up and paint was missing from the bumper. Like something hit it in the shop. They paint is now cracking and starting to bubble in areas. When I asked the owner about a refund he said they were corporate owned. When I asked their corporate they said it was independently owned. They charged for body work they didnt do and didnt put any of the chrome back on. And left their mixing cups and supplies in the car. Save yourself the stress and headache and go somewhere else.

(AVOID THIS LOCATION) I took my Car up to the shop on a Thursday morning and spoke with the guy at the front desk. He assured me that if i paid him right then and there i would be assured to have the car completed at the latest on Monday . I paid for the parts to come in and left the car because i was told to leave the car so that the door panel could be taken off for prep for the next day and for the labor upfront in full, i called Friday morning to verify that the parts were In and the same guy who i spoke with had the worst attitude and showed no customer service or professionalism, i asked him again what would be the time frame to replace a door and paint the door he told me that it would be Monday again. Monday came and went with no notice from them that the car wouldn’t be finished until i called right before closing. I was told that the car would be ready for pick up Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday morning and i was told by the same guy that it would be done by end of business. I called before closing to assure that before i left work that the car was finished, when i called i was told that the guys hadn’t even started on the door panel and that it was pushed back yet again without any notice. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE AND I WANT TO SPEAK WITH THE CORPORATE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY

I dropped off Mini Cooper at MAACO to have entire vehicle painted OCT 26, 2020. I was told car will be completed in 1 week. I did not receive vehicle until Nov 13, 2020. I purchased Rally stripes to be placed on vehicle. MAACO told me they would put them on . They attempted to apply stripes to vehicle but damaged the stripes so they removed them. Then told me I needed to find someone to wrap the car after telling me they would apply the stripes. I had to find a professional wrap installer on my own and take the remainder of stripes to a professional installer. The car wrap installer placed the stripes on the car and attempted to shift the rally stripe. Upon shifting stripes the installer noticed paint had peeled under Rally stripe so he did not want to remove the stripe because he knew more paint would come off the hood and the installer wanted to ensure the stripe covered the paint area that was peeling. The car wrap installer told me to take the vehicle back to MAACO and have to to repaint the hood since I had just picked up the vehicle .I took the car back to MAACO to have the hood repainted along with the other list of items that were not completed on the vehicle Nov 16, 2020.-List of items————1. Repaint hood due to paint peeling2. Repaint and sand both mirrors3. Repaint drivers roof quarter panel4. Repaint and sand hatch door near JCW badge5. Remove 2 dents on passenger door6. Sand passenger door for chip anD repaintPicked up vehicle on Nov 17, 2020. MAACO dealership refused to fix many of the items on the list. The Manager Daniel Lathan would not repaint hood saying it was the responsibility of the wrap installer. If the paint work was prepped properly the paint would never have peeled. Not sure how a that would be the responsibility of the wrap installer. The installer is just applying a sticker to the vehicle when it is being wrapped. I contacted other paint shops and they said paint should never peel from a rally stripe /sticker. They also would not remove dents that were found in door even though I paid for service. Also they would not repaint hatchback door where there are JCW badges. They should have removed badges and glue before painting. Now I have paint over glue under the badge. They would not fix chip in passenger door even though I paid for chip and crack service. Be very careful about taking your car to this MAACO dealership. They will tell you they can provide these service along with a warranty. Then renege when you take it back!

Great price that matched the quality of work.Unfortunately I needed the work done in the morning, and I was told that is possible, only to learn later that the body man is in ONLY in the afternoon! So for four mornings I asked, is he in? No. Is he in? No, after which I had to leave my car overnight, at a cost of two $~20 Uber trips.The worst part was a small amount of work they could have added to make my car look great. They didnt do it. They said it was because it was too late and the body man didnt have my phone number. Well it should have been on file and I wish hed have called me. I d have authorized the $40 (out of $600 in work) to get my fender to be aligned properly.If they were closer to my home I would let them correct the mistake but its an hours round trip to get there and back to have them fix what they should have fixed the first time around. All in all Im disappointed with Maaco Smyrna.

To be more precise, I give this Maaco location 4.5 stars. Daniel and Randy had very good customer service and were straightforward. I had a couple of issues, but they happily took care of them. I was definitely a satisfied customer.

Do NOT use this business. Unfortunately, my son selected this business before I had a chance to read the Google reviews, but I had the EXACT same experience that Taveon reported in his review. These people STOLE MY BATTERY!!!I had a brand new - less than 1 year old - battery in my car, and when we had problems starting the car, we took the battery to Advanced Auto (where we purchased it). Advanced Auto showed that they have a receipt of us purchasing the battery but that the battery in the car did not match our purchase.CAN YOU BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE? HOW ARE THEY ALLOWED TO OPERATE??DO NOT - UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - USE THIS BUSINESS.

I had a small dent in my car Maccos not only made sure my car looked good as new; they also finished it in a timely manner with outstanding customer service! Strongly recommended!

Most unprofessional business I’ve never experienced. I had a simple bumper fix and they could do it. Sad part is I’ve done business here before and they were decent so I gave my car back to them. Unfortunately they took a month and didn’t do the job correctly, after taking it back saying they could fix it they made it worse and there’s paint all over the car that won’t come off. Also the bumper is already coming off. Please do no waste your time and money here..

Second time I’ve taken my Audi there to get some minor work done...they are quick and there pricing is great. There were a couple of minor details they missed and they were quick to correct them. Highly recommend these guys.Daniel Parker

Horrible Auto/CHOP Shop and Should be closed down IMMEDIATELY.DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE It is ran and operated like a CHOP SHOP. I sent my vehicle in after speaking with on of the guys in the shop and having confirmed that they could reattach my newly purchased Fender, Hood, Head Light assembly, and also fix my Heat.The parts I purchased all myself and had delivered to the shop.Left my car there in November and when I was told that my vehicle was ready for pick-up mid December when I got there I realized that my brand new battery was taken out of my car, still had my warranty sticker on it, and replaced with a weaker battery that needed a JUMP to start. Along with a tool box I had in my back seat, my oil dip stick and after picking it up and taking it to another Mechanic they informed me that there was nearly no coolant left in my vehicle. I informed them that I sent my car to an TOYOTA Mechanic to have my engine checked to ensure I didnt have any issues with it and they informed my that they changed a spark plug, Topped off my fluids and that my vehicle was good to go. They stated that someone mustve drained the coolant out of my car and left nearly Bone Dry.When I informed the guy that I was working with at Maaco of the situation began to lie stating that the Tow Truck Driver that dropped my car off to the shop mightve stole my battery before dropping it off or that someone probably drove up at night and stole my battery out of my car and replaced it with a dead and weaker battery. Connecting the wires fastening the bolts on the battery extremely tight. After I debunked the first lie by informing him that I was on the phone with the tow man assisting him with directions on where he was dropping my car off, along with me only living mins away. Only for his story to change a 3rd and forth time in which he then told that his mechanic probably has it laying around in the shop somewhere and that if I come back he will have it back in my car because they usually take the batteries out and take then to the ORileys or Advanced Autos in the area to get them charged and that they may have gave them back the wrong battery and ticket.I personally called both shops and spoke with the employees and managers working on the days that he stated he took and dropped the battery of and everyone stated that they didnt see nor receive any battery from MAACO on the day he stated nor do they remember receiving the battery Type with the tickets they exchanged with them before that date.(You drop .a battery off and they give you a ticket so when you return you give them back the ticket and they find your battery based on the info on the ticket) When I brought it to the guy at Maacos attention he stated that he would buy me a used battery tomorrow.I get there the next day to find a used $25 small moped scooter type battery in my car. My original battery was $160 +tax, he stated that this is all that he could do and that he has no idea where my tools nor my oil dip stick may have went and stated that someone probably stole it out of my car off their lot considering they left my car doors unlocked on their open and private open lot. I asked about the heat not being fixed and he stated that I could leave my car with them another 2-3 days and that he would have his mechanic look at it and if its a fan issue that he would have him grab a fan off one of the vehicles on the lot and place it in my car. After hearing this I took my car and I filed a Police Report and will contact MAACOs Corporate number and report this CHOP SHOP after the holidays.

I was extremely disappointed and shocked at the service (or lack there of) that I received from a reputable company such as Maaco. When they installed my headlights instead of using the nuts and bolts that I provided for them and utilizing the existing holes, they used the wrong size screws and made their own hole in the wrong place and damaged the chassis on my car. In addition to that they were paid to install fog lights on my car. They did not attempt to install them (they said it didnt fit) but they still charged me for it. Upon inspection I learned that they didnt even open the box that contained the fog lights... they were still wrapped, boxed and unopened. If you need service I urge look elsewhere.

MAACO did a great job painting my car and repairing the bumper. It looks like new. Tom, the manager, was great to work with and delivered what was promised on time.

So this review is an edit of the one I wrote a week ago giving a 1 star review only because they make you choose at least one. I’m changing this review and giving macco 4 stars! I’ll tell you why...it took them a lil longer than I wanted and they had to redo my door 3 times, it’s not perfect but you know what? It’s pretty darn close! I wasn’t satisfied two different times and they never argued, complained or anything...they just re did the work and made the customer (me) happy and satisfied, THAT is great customer service and a good formula for repeat business and this edited 4 star review. I was not happy with the service, it took over 1 month to get my car ready. I would not recommend Marco to anyone.I should have been given a free paint job. My crow-bar was also missing from my vehicle.Henry west.

I would give negative stars if I could. The estimated time to paint my vehicle was 3-4 days, I got my vehicle back 3 days short of a month later. The same day I picked my vehicle up the paint started to flake off. The entire time my vehicle was there I only received 1 phone call from them, I had to keep calling them and going there to check on my vehicle. They damaged my vehicle, got paint inside the vehicle and overspray everywhere. And I did not pay for the cheapest paint job, I paid for one of the highest level paint jobs. And corporate Maaco customer service was a huge waste of time. Stay away from this shop and all Maacos!!

Maaco - 3440 S.Cobb Dr. Smyrna Ga.I am going to attempt the abbreviated version: I dropped my truck off for a simple paint job on April 16th....I just got it back today June 27th.PROBLEMS INVOLVED:1) Compressor hose popped spewing trash into the paint; had to be repainted.2) Upon completion of repaint it was learned it was painted the wrong color and bodywork listed on the invoice (with the paint code # wasnt done).3) Then the color I chose wasnt available so they gave me a comparable color match and completed the minor body work.4) Once finally painted there were a lot of imperfections in the paints finish but I couldnt risk having it redone again. 2 + months was long enough to wait with promises everyday,YOU CAN PICK IT UP TOMORROW.POSITIVE TRAIT :Good Body WorkNEGATIVE TRAIT :Poor Organizational SkillsNeed an experienced painter.Would I return to or recommend this place to anyone ?You be the judge...... I have had dozens of Maaco Paint Jobs throughout the years, with no problems, but by far this job was my worst experience ever.UPDATE: Now I see where they used an abrasive on the chrome trim to remove overspray.Why ???????? 😖

Horrible customer service. fail to inform customer on vehicle status. Even when the call me with update they were false/lies. I have no problem paying for services but this company is unprofessional

Got my front bumper cover repaired. Instead of painting the bumper cover off the car, it was painted while installed on the car. This means that stray paint made it onto my headlights, grill, etc. Im still finding and peeling off masking tape in different areas by the repair.Ive been to other Maaco locations, but the work performed on my car at this location was disappointing.
