A local gem. I’ve never had a bad experience at this cafe, absolutely love their cowboy breakfast sandwich and their toasted buns. Anytime I get an iced mocha from here it makes my day. Kyle helped me and my dad today and he is exceptionally lovely. His energy brightens the whole place. Thank you Kyle!
Its very adorable with a small city vibe. You go inside and forget where you are in South Park. Friendly staff and the cappuccino is amazing perfect foam. Plus theres free parking.
First time trying this coffee shop.Friendly staff and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It is a loud shop but I do not mind. i loved their playlist and the laughter of the people in the place, only commenting if you’re looking for a quiet place.I would have given it a 5 but I ordered a chai latte with Oat Milk and it Tasted a bit like Oat milk with a splash of chai, I did ask them to remake it but tasted the same. I will go back and give it another shot because i really did enjoy the environment and will update if my opinion changes.
Quaint coffee place popular with the folks around wanting to catch up over coffee or have a team meeting. Very simple seating.Lots of options for coffee, tea and chocolate drinks and also a few bakery eatsGood coffee but what made the experience better was the friendly staff. Thank you.
Visiting the area with a friend, came upon this place by chance. Very tasty London Fog tea latte and hot chocolate. Exceptionally nice staff and a nice little space.
First time patron, stopping through for business. Line was out the door. Greeted by cashier and barista, amazing customer service. Other patrons at tables were friendly. Back door garage was open while it rained outside, pleasant temperature with garage open, and great airflow. Great selection of alternative milk.
Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop! You get a real taste of the local flavor of Seattle. Staff is high energy, kind and funny. If I lived here, it would be my coffee shop.
A superb Seattle shop with great coffee and inviting service. Ownership and staff are knowledge and friendly, and the space is creative and full of community art. Its always a treat to stop in here.
Good coffee, great service. They arent the fastest but they are very personable and you can tell they care. A new rainy Sunday favorite!
A hidden jewel in South park! Friendly barista, ample of tables for people looking for a quiet study spot. Theres apparently extra workspace on the second floor but didnt get a chance to check it out. They even had a kids space under the stairs! Decent coffee supplied by Caffe Umbria! All coffee are served with double shots of espresso which is a plus! Wifi available for those looking to study/work there :)
Delicious and always served with a smile. Great place to enjoy a Mocha or Latte while building community.
Very good coffee. Staff was pleasant. The artwork and message is perfect. Eclectic and visited by a very diverse crowd of patrons. Enjoyed our time there immensely. Thank you.
The food is excellent, coffee and London fog are some of the best Ive had. Local shop with wonderful employees. They support lots of amazing local artists with prices from $2-$250 (post cards 3 for $5 in pic). Incredible covid precautions, be mindful of not congregating near the counter while you wait :)
Great Coffee & Tea! Really friendly servers. Also a great place to get some computer work done!
Smoothest cold brew in the West & the Squash bread is a most
Excellent coffee and friendly staff. One of my favorite coffee spots.
Great service and delicious coffee! 😋
Small, homey coffee shop. Offers non-dairy milk products and is considerate of all eating choices. My co workers and I frequently go here to get away for a few moments and enjoy a coffee. They have fresh baked goods and great tea options as well! I highly recommend.
The people who work here are sweet, genuinely friendly people. Im still new to South Park and these folks really made me feel welcome. They are truly dedicated to enriching their community; a real pillar of South Park culture! They make great espresso. They even sell cartons of oatly!
Horrible service. I went there with my little brother a while back and the lady at the register was very rude. When we finally got our coffee they threw the lids on the counter and told us to put them on. Also, the coffee wasn’t that good either and was spilling out of the cup. Don’t think I’ll be going back.
Good coffee, nice merch, and really friendly people. Some baked goods from Macrina had the touch to cover your sweet tooth cravings. Really enjoyed our visit this morning.
Great coffee and nice place to relax
Not a coffee drinker, but Resistencia has the single best hot chocolate Ive ever tasted. The batistas are also really friendly and sociable, and the whole space has a comfortable, neighborly vibe to it.
Friendly service, and most importantly: good coffee.
Amazing independent coffee shop right in the middle of the South Park neighborhood. Really great coffee, sweet and savory pastries/food with a really cool, fun, non-corporate vibe. A really amazing place where once youre a regular the people behind the calendar remember your name, face, and drink. Its a throwback to the way a coffee shop should be, nice music, the din of conversation good drinks and friendly faces.
So I had this habit that every morning, I always go to this coffee shop and have my morning coffee. So if you’re asking why I always go here every day, just because their coffee is from the best local coffee beans in the city and is very aromatic and delicious. You will always crave for it.
The coffee was great, the indoor seating appreciated. Now I just want to go back when the pop-up kitchens are present so that there are more food options.
Lovely people, great atmosphere. art on the walls, community oriented, outdoor seating (but it is fall now so that might change.oh, and the coffee is AMAZING.
Bomb coffee and unique quick bits. Awesome staff.
An absolute gem in South Park. I highly recommend Resistencia Coffee for lattes, a light bite, and warm smile. The staff is incredibly hospitable, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. 10/10 stars! ❤️
This is a nice and safe place to drink coffee.
The specialty latte here is bomb 👌
Hands down the best coffee Ive ever had in Seattle. The ambience is great with even a section for children to play in! The music isnt too loud either (which is a constant annoyance I find at lots of cafes in the city). And to top it all off, on nice days, they pull the rolling door up and its a beautiful open area in the back of the cafe. PHENOMENAL SPOT!!!
Interested in their community. Great coffee too.
An awesome support to the community. Going in here is like getting a nice hug :)
Great customer service and place has a humble vibe to it. 👐
Do yourself a favor and get the specialty latte
The best thing about the neighborhood coffeeshop is seeing your neighbors in the coffee shop. The staff are always friendly, the drinks are always delicious, and the baked goods stay on point.
Excellent baristas, using Cafe Umbria coffee beans
Good coffee, friendly service, plenty of sanitizer available for all patrons. Cant wait until their new merchandise is available.
These are my people! Clean tables. Friendly staff. Immaculately clean bathrooms!!! Get the Chingona!
Stop by when I was doing some work in the neighborhood and the vibe is super great and the coffee is so good. Really this place is phenomenal. Loved my experience here. Also the barista was super friendly, which isn’t usually the case at coffee shops this cool. If you find yourself in South Park go here. It’s awesome.
I no sooner walked in then I walked out ! The place looks dirty, it had a funny smell I looked down and there is a very large wet dog being held by its leaves by the owner the animal had no tagging on it to show that it was a service animal so I cant imagine why a place would allow that. The menu was fairly small and if you want a blended coffee I suggest you go somewhere else because thats not even on the menu!
Tasty chai. Friendly staff and environment. A great local business to support!
Friendly atmosphere. Fast service
5 star coffee and a good temperature- wonderful conscious energy in this placeSitting spaces indoor and out nice natural lighting supplemented with good overhead lighting wow love this place - not to mention the great staff
For 4.9 stars, I was expecting excellent coffee but mine tasted mediocre. Maybe other people had a better coffee experience. The White Privilege mocha was an odd name choice. Buying a $5 coffee is the epitome of privilege. Its like buying paper to save the forest. Just my 2 cents.
Great coffee shop in South Park. They always have good coffee and good music.
Nice coffee spot, only one person was working when we were there, but it still wasnt too terrible of a wait. Good variety of options and nice decorations. Also had a place for kids to play.
This place does espresso right and the people running it are incredible. Nice atmosphere and fresh baked goods.
Great coffee in sweet south park
What a great surprise! This place is awesome with a wonderful community support feel
Finally a wonderful, adorable, hip coffee shop in South Park! A great place to grab to go or to stay and work from your laptop. Very well set up! Friendly consistent customer service by all who work there, which is different from some of the other shops in the area that can make a customer feel unwanted or are at the other extreme where you feel like you just walked into someone’s house kinda style. Also they are friendly to my dog and that is much appreciated!
A little piece of heaven tucked into the heart of Southpark, this coffee shop offers a variety of drinks and pastries in an intimate setting, is family friendly, and a great place to relax while the world passes by. Yesterday, my daughter and I ventured in for the first time, spent a couple of hours sipping our drinks, and played several of the games they have available for patrons... Suffice it to say that will be the first of many visits to come.
Always nice and friendly even just as they open, which is earlier than other places. Coffee tends darker and less fruity than other hip spots. Food options nice and varied, Im happy they are here.
A hidden gem in Southpark. Friendly staff, local art, and good coffee. Plenty of outlets for power, which is rare! The tables and chairs were average, nothing special, but I wont knock them for it. Would definitely visit if in the neighborhood again.
Its pretty great here. good food. good coffee. great art. awesome baristas
This place has AMAZING customer service. I was walking by and stopped in to grab some decaf coffee right at 1800. The barista informed me that they had just closed but then asked what I wanted. He gladly made me a drink even after just closing. I was very appreciative of his willingness to make me coffee after closing. While he was making the coffee we talked a bit. He was friendly and pleasant to talk to. The overall vibe to the coffee place was warm and welcoming. The americano I had was delicious. As I was leaving the man offered me one of the days cinnamon rolls. I gladly took it, and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back there for my coffee needs
Amazing staff, low key awesome food and a dope lil parents/kids playzone
This was a really charming place. Real San Francisco vibe about it. Open air, very friendly.
Cool staff, fun atmosphere.
This place is wonderful. Perfect model of an inclusive, community-centered coffee shop. Also, the coffees delicious.
Love this place. Perfect atmosphere to ponder life, read a book, and collaborate with others on working toward social justice.
I dont like the iPad tip-shame scam, and I really dont like it when the barista looks to see how much I tipped him before making my coffee. The coffee was good though.
Awesome coffee, yummy bites, on point playlist, plus good community vibes.
Awesome hot chocolate! Fast and friendly. Great place to stop at in the way to work. Parking lot in back has plenty of parking.
Warm staff, great drinks. Always interesting food items.
They offer friendly service and a great product. I love their location and comfortable space.
Resistencia coffee is everything you want in a local business and coffee shop. Friendly amazing service, great brand, great product, amazing coffee! They care about the beans and the customer experience all while trying to be all South Park everything! They care about the neighborhood and want to give back to it! Amazing place
Viva la raza! Amazing coffee shop. I dont have the words to describe how vibrant and beautiful it felt being in here.
Good coffee, local small business, but not ideal for a quick stop for a cuppa joe. (not that its a bad thing). Usually somewhat busy when I have stopped in. Hope this place sticks around.
Tim & Cote are South Park neighborhood business owners that give social justice awareness to you everyday cup of coffee. Supporting this coffee that’s sourced, roasted and served in Seattle’s only neighborhood without a Starbucks makes this place THE shop to go out of your way to stop and not only enjoy the coffee, but the neighborhood and the people. Cheers!
I loved this place.. The ambiance and staff are impeccable!
Friendly service good coffee and my friend enjoyed his morning beer
“Not bad but not the stuff of legends”. Talking to the staff was a pleasant experience.
I explained to the staff what kind of drink I wanted, and she delivered! Extremely friendly staff. Im glad I stopped by.
Cute spot with a great latte. Very friendly and welcoming barista. Excited to have a walkable weekend coffee shop! Looking forward to their permanent location opening.
Great addition to the neighborhood and a reason to come to South Park. Great local art, community space, delicious cafe vita coffee, bakery goods you cant get anywhere else, food, and a place that works hard to be a good addition to the community. I seriously love this place.
Great coffee cafe. Services was good.
Love Love love their coffee, the space, the treats and the welcoming service!
Very good beverages in great and progressive ambiance! Good for Seattle!
Cote and crew are serving up great coffee in a welcoming environment. Im excited to watch them grow!
