If youre a tea lover, youll enjoy this Cafe with your coffee drinking friends as it has quite a few loose leaf tea options. On a gloomy morning, I usually go for the London Fog. Their London Fog is actually made nicely. They steep the tea long enough, so you can taste the aroma of the earl grey perfectly. Its also not too sweet. I usually dont like my London Fog overly vanilla or overly sweet. Their baked items are good but I prefer their savory options more often. I enjoy their southwest veggie burrito which is always nicely toasted and their cookies. My favorite is their ginger molasses which is both soft and crunchy. I do like the ambiance and the airiness of the place. You can easily social distance while working on your laptop. I do enjoy the music and the comfy seating as well. Bring your earbuds or headset, if you dont like to work with louder music in the background. The staff can come off a little cold from time to time but I dont let that overshadow the positives.

There was a good selection of pastries and the tea is pretty good--I just wish the tea menu was somewhere besides next to the register so I could make my decision not last minute. I really enjoyed the mazurka, even though I had no idea what it was when I got it. The cafe itself has a really cute vibe and I would recommend it as a nice study or work spot if you need a change of scenery.

I loved it here! Very friendly and inviting. The staff always smile, they engage, and they can laugh. The food is great and my vegan friend can hang in the same place and we both have food options! The coffee is so delicious, and they serve in reusable cups which makes my sustainable-heart happy. The environment is beautiful and quirky as well. The ONLY negative thing I can say has nothing to do with the architecture, staff, food, or drinks: Its the music. Not the choice of music at all; Its too loud for my personal taste. I noticed most people there were studying or talking, and I found myself yelling to my friend just so he could hear me. I never went upstairs, so it may be quieter up there. However, music volume aside, it is tremendous!

The coffee is good and the scones are the best in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the music is always so loud (even with ear buds in) that its not a good spot for studying. It works well for a quick to-go drink, especially since its right next to the bus stop! I would give 4 stars but have also had some pretty disappointing encounters with the staff. This has been getting better but there have been a few people working behind the counter that really dont seem to want to be there.

Basically impossible to find a seat but its pretty clear why-- this cafe rocks! The coffee is good, the furniture is fun, music is generally enjoyable, and theres a nice college cafe atmosphere. Its fun to meet people here or crank out some reading. Also commendable: they sell beer, which more cafes need to start doing for us night time patrons! Giving four stars though because the food is pretty ridiculously expensive (looking at you ~$8 grilled cheese)

I enjoyed the coffee here and they had a great pastry selection. The place is full of college students studying, so there is a distinctly quiet and serious vibe. I come here sometimes to get a snack before class. I haven’t had the coffee in a bit, but it was pretty good when I had it. It’s not a very welcoming environment and when I went there today and asked for a ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich the girl looked at me weird like she had no clue what I was talking about, walked over to look at it, came back and over charged me 25¢. Their prices are usually not correct. They almost always forget I ask for my food to go and take an exceptionally long time to get the food for a place that simply heats their food up. The employees seem a bit stuck up and rude as some other reviews say. I also found a hair in my mac and cheese, not really sure if I wanna come back here again.

This is a dark, comfortable coffee shop with good coffee and various food options. It is the perfect place to go in, get what you need, and then run out as fast humanly possible because the music is so blaring and obnoxious that I dont see how anyone could be comfortable spending any length of time there. To get a five-star review, Solstice needs to do only one thing: TURN OFF THE MUSIC. Im sure you think youre being cool, but the practical effect is that almost nobody can stand being there. It is impossible to think, impossible to carry on a conversation and impossible to stay sane in an environment that loud. That was evidenced by the fact that between 10:30 and 11:30 on a Saturday morning, the place stayed almost empty. I had to meet someone there, but we both decided that we will never go back.

The drinks and baked goods are sufficient. What makes this cafe different than most is the volume. They play (good) loud music and in turn, the patrons speak at a higher volume. Its fine if you are looking for a cafe that has more of a social vibe, but there are better cafes in the area for quiet studying.

Definitely not for everyone. The music can be quite loud at times (a big drawback if you go there to study). The draw though is that they are CHEAP, they have FAST Wi-Fi, and dont mind if you spend all day inside. They have cold brew yearlong and it is top shelf. Would recommend to people to try and see if it is the vibe you like. If you like Starbucks... you miiiiight not like Cafe Solstice... heads up(:

Waited 8 minutes for google to load on their ridiculously slow internet speed just to be able to leave a review. The baristas are not well trained in the coffee they served and often do not know whats in the pot of coffee. Their espresso from Lighthouse Coffee is amazing.
