Was gifted some beans, and they were very, very, very bad and sour. Im sorry. The gift was really a nice thought. And the packaging was nice. They seem to be great in person based on the other reviews here. Maybe the gifted beans were old or went bad or something. Either way, would not get more. Sorry :(
Prompt service, friendly staff, well designed interior, and good food/beverages. Bonus points for not accepting tips. One complaint, the cashier didnt ask me the size of my drink, so I was quite disappointed when my Cappuccino arrived in a eco-friendly sippy cup fitting a toddler. It lasted all of two minutes and a few blocks before completely vanishing into my stomach. Not quite enough to satisfy my coffee cravings.
Love this place. Great drink selection, interesting and sometimes complex flavors. Baristas were friendly, and fast. Cute and comfy little location. Excellent baked goods, I would definitely recommend.
Well-stocked bakery case, impeccable covid safety protocol, and most importantly, friendly baristas who are willing to be patient and kind and offer me a sip of sanity and real life human interaction. Thank you so much, humans of broadcast!
I came to Broadcast coffee to buy whole bean coffee for my apartment. After surveying the many options, I decided on the Peru - La Tierra. As I was being rung up, the barista seemed ambivalent about helping me, at best. I understand they may have been having a bad day, but this experience became memorable for the wrong reason. That said, the coffee was very fresh and roasted the day before (2/21). I brewed it after returning home and, while still a little too soon off roast for me, it was a great cup of coffee.
Arguably the best coffee in Seattle (Ive tried many). Love this place!
Good drip coffee! Smooth, mildly acidic, and nice aroma.
Nice place good service and coffee. good pastries too !
The coffee is served quickly, the ppl are friendly, it has a good atmosphere
Peaceful coffee shop next to Pratt park so great place to take kids as well. Coffee is on point and so is the pastry selection. My mocha was a bit on the cold side but they were more than happy to fix that. I opted to warm it in the microwave in the store instead, no big deal. Street parking is usually available. Make a good meet up spot or business meeting.
Coffee and blueberry scone were good. First time going there.
Great coffee, not a great bakery/food selection. Staff is kind of standoffish but that’s just the way Seattle coffee shops are
Fast service that was exceptionally well-coordinated with Temple pastries for a very nice single-stop experience!
Broadcast is always an impressively delicious cup of coffee! Whether youre getting a drip or their signature Disco Pony youll be impressed by the roast quality and awesome customer service! 👏
All the benefits of a local coffee shop: friendly staff and good strong drinks.
Love the Temple pastries. Great neighborhood spot
Full of taste and flavor, in a nice ambiance
Good coffee, ok selection of pastries and refrigerated items, and good location for the neighborhood. Staff is friendly and open to suggestions as well
Latte was meh. Coffee had a grain-like taste and temp was maybe 120.
Very nice people the coffee was super good and the desserts was awesome!
Broadcast Coffee has the best tasting coffee compared to all others in the area by far. Its easy to pop in and get coffee quickly without hassle. You dont have to add anything to a latte because the coffee flavor speaks for itself.
Not the best - not bad - a lil spend - not sweeet enough idk maybe I didn’t ask
Delicious chai. Some of the best outside of india
Matcha matcha matcha!!! So so delish each time I order it! Love this place
Amazing drip coffee and Gluten free breakfast taco. Will travel many miles for broadcast coffee.
Girl with different color hair very poor service
Lovely shop with delicious and fresh coffee. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff is friendly, professional and the prices are fair.
So delicious. Amazing coffee. Cozy and quiet space to start your day or spend a few hours working remote. A typical Seattle-style coffeeshop atmosphere. Low-tourist / high-local appeal. The mini tacos are a perfect quick breakfast with green tomatillo salsa. 👍
Good coffee. Great pastries. Good environment. Service varies from great to the typical maudlin barista suffering from depression and self-grandeur. Recently mostly the latter. Often smells of wet dog, but hey it rains in Seattle and DOGS, well they are everywhere and dont we love em!
I’ve been here a few times and really tried to like it because it’s close to where I live. The baristas can be a bit snotty, but that wasn’t enough to bother me. What keeps me from going back is the homeless people who are allowed to come in and try to get people to move out of their seats. Last time I was in there a homeless man mumbling to himself stood at my table for a few minutes and was waiting for me to leave while I was sitting there with my coffee, food and backpack trying to enjoy a quick meal. He wouldn’t leave and the staff didn’t seem to care. For the amount they charge for their drinks and food, I should expect to not be bothered while I enjoy them. It’s a shame, it’s a very pretty space with lots of natural light and it’s relatively quiet. I haven’t gone back since and don’t plant to.
Great coffee 💯🦄☕
Nice, relaxing, peaceful coffee shop. Breakfast sandwich and almond milk latte was good. Enjoyed the view people watching over breakfast. Seattle life is much different than Southern IL, Western KY.
Love the windows at this coffeehouse. Lots of light streaming in even on a gray day. Its a great spot to be productive. Quite busy throughout the day but Ive always found a seat. The jalapeno cheddar bagel is great. I know its just a bagel but I could see actual slices of jalapeno baked into it! Amazing! They sell locally made pastries, sandwiches, and burritos. My fave tea of all time, maybe, is their Cold Buster blend.
Delicious delicious lattes (im a latte gal, exclusively.) vibe is chill - your typical white Seattle hipsters 🙃sometimes nice sometimes not!
Their coffee beans are my absolute favorite for home French press. The store itself is nice, chill place to spend a few moments with a friend.
Pretty good place. Been there a hand full of times. There are a little isolated from some customers.
They dont have coconut milk 😮 otherwise I would give them 5 stars. They have Almond, hemp and soy as alternative milk products, which are okay, I just like coconut the best. The atmosphere and service are excellent though!
Love broadcast! They make amazing coffee and on occasion have delicious vegan/gluten free cookies! Plus they allow dogs inside. =)
Really cozy place in a great location. Great place to grab a coffee or latte and then go for a walk in the park after!Food and beverages served are much more authentic than the commercialized Starbucks drinks. They also do a good job accommodating customers that wish to order something off the menu.
I love this coffee shop. Great coffee. Better coffee than Starbucks. I dont have a complicated order, but do ask for it extra hot. The baristas here are happy to accommodate. And try the pistachio croissant - very yummy!
Bitter coffee taste, so if thats your thing (as opposed to more smokey coffees) then youll like the coffee. No comfy chairs, so this is more of a place to meet someone for work or to go alone and get things done. There are a few chairs outside, with no tables, so if its nice there are places to enjoy the weather.
Love the working atmosphere and plenty of workspace. The people were nice and my bf latte was great. My tea latte was pretty bland and not worth $4 but the area was quiet and I got a lot of work done. Might go back and just stick to coffee.
Robust
This is a great neighborhood coffee shop if you’re in the Central District. They roast their own beans and the coffee is excellent. This place really is coffee first—less of a destination for snacks and treats. The proximity to Pratt park makes for a great stroll with your coffee if the weather permits.
This place is usually busy and it can be a task finding street parking. Theyre friendly and informative regarding their coffee. Negatives: no blender for cold drink options. Positives: the latte.Pratt Park is right across the street which gives another seating option on nicer summer days at least.
Delicious food and open atmosphere! Absolutely loved our experience, and would definitely return!
Best coffee around
Clean layout. Ideal place to get work done. Cool international background music too
Good quality, acceptable prices, GREAT airy well-lit place to work or chill.
Coffee is great, baristas are great, atmosphere is a very social place which many ppl seem tend to use as a study hall. Love the spacious middle island bar type seating. A few spots for 1-2 person seating outside is nice for a smoke or quiet break from busy atmosphere. My only complaint was it was always a bit cold in there...drafty, (Between 4-7pm) and nearby neighborhood is questionable.
Much better to visit coffee shops of this quality than the highly commercialized ones!
Great local neighborhood coffee shop, right off a park across the street. Good wifi for studying or working. Cheap, quality coffee. Couldnt ask for more
Great coffee, try the Borgia. Don’t miss the killer chalk walled bathroom graffiti. Excellent place to hang out with a laptop!
We got carryout from here while staying in seattle . The portions were so plentiful we had enough food for 2 nights!
The staff is so nice and the coffee is delicious. Highly recommend the oat milk latte or mocha. Dog friendly too!
I love this coffee shop! They have the best hemp milk mocha in Seattle! Also, a delicious iced drink called a Sparkle Pony, its perfect on a hot day.
The lovely walk in the park across the way made my Chuck Taylor blue star shoes ready for the experience of The Broadcast. The floor had a great exposed concrete feel, super earthy that centered my Chi. The barista just knew what I wanted prior, ESP? 6 stars if I could.
Hipster coffee house. Organic choices and teas. A few sandwiches before they sell out in for morning. Great to go for coffee, tea, a few local canned beers, pastries and work on your small projects.
Charming neighborhood coffee shop with yummy breakfast sandwiches and even vegan or regular breakfast tacos.
One of the best tasting coffee shops in Seattle. The barista is also super courteous and pleasant. Will be one of my go to coffee shops now. Thank you!
Has cold brew coffee. However, services are mostly friendly and nice for regulars who come there often. I was in town visiting friends who are living around the area. I stopped by to get a cold brew coffee on 7/24/18 around 6:38 a.m. or so . As I was paying for my roasted Turkey sandwich, a bagel and coffee, I forgot to mention no ice for my cold brew when I ordered, when I saw the lady pouring coffee in the cup, I was the only customer there in line and no one was waiting in line behind me, I immediately said: Im sorry. I forgot to say no ice please.Good grief. She turned around, stared piercing right into my eyes, froze with a pitcher in one hand and a half cup filled with cold brew coffee in the other hand, her face and jaws clinched, turned kinda mildly red orange, swiftly and angrily turned around headed into the back and pour out the coffee, turned back pour in cold brew coffee without ice, put it on the counter. I said: Thank you. She turned and walked away to the right, and did not say a word or even a smile.WOW. This is July 2018. If Seattle is in a winter cold month, July 2018 heat waves would be happening with this kind of service. Id would endure suffering caffeine withdraw symptoms than to get a cup of coffee from this place. It happened on 7/24/18. I edited to have the correct date after looking at my email receipt. Adding that the total of my bill was $15.25.
I like this place. Its welcoming and I often go here to work in the morning. My only complaint is I wish they had vegan cream cheese options.
They got rid of a lot of their vegan options and replaced it with some soy filled premade burritos. Those are fine, but not as an only option. I used to love this place and now I rarely frequent it because I cant eat anything there.
Good coffee, served in a small ceramic cup, along with a glass of sparkling water, both on a wooden stand. European style, with attentoon to details. Also, the shop assistant was very nice and curteous. When she closed the shop, she gave out the remaining pastries for free, and allowed us to stay inside beyond closing time.
Great ambience to work or chill. My go-to coffee spot when I need to get a little work done casually on weekends. There should be more places like this in Leschi!
Great coffee, really great staff, and yummy food. I frequent this place and its always a lovely stop on the way in.
Great selection. They no longer serve soy milk as a replacement but the oat milk they use is absolutely delicious. Prices are higher than starbucks but in my opinion you get what you pay for while also supporting a local business.
Great neighborhood coffee house. Open almost every day, including holidays. Lots of yummy breakfast options on weekends.
One of the best coffees in Seattle the smoothest most well-rounded expresso I think you can find inside the city the only place average even come close to it is a place that used to be called the ancient grounds in Pioneer Square
Relaxing spot great coffee and pastries. Employees are super nice
Your basic no-frills coffeehouse with very good coffee. OK selection of pastries. Expansive area to hang out and commune. Free WiFi is a plus
Funky yet subdued local cafe for work or small meetings
Marvelous coffee! Yummy food options. Great staff. Accepting place. Great local feel.
My favorite coffee spot. Although the cashier ducked in the counter when I tried taking a photo of the place, and now I feel too embarrassed to return. Trust me though they have great coffee. Gotta try the reviver
They serve high quality coffees, roasted themselves. Good selection of eats, too, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Lots of seating.
Server Acted kind of stuck up. He didnt listen when I asked if sandwich was on my total. Perhaps the music was up to loud for him. When I told the. Lady about it. He said he asked I didnt reply. Like I mentioned. He seemed to disregard my nod & verbal yes. Not sure why heating my sandwich took longer that the 5 people behind me. Coffee had a strange taste also. Unsure what type of milk was used.
Delicious as always. The Ginger Spice Latte is unique and quite good.
Cool place and good coffee. I liked their music selection as well as the volume at which they played it.
I love Broadcast, but this location does not serve their single origin beans which is the only bean for me. I like their blend, but i love their single origin beans.
Great coffee good service small bites are 👌
Great coffee and an even better environment. Happy to have this as my neighborhood haunt.
Bright, airy, and spacious coffee shop. Great customer service and friendly staff. Delicious coffee and the “must-try is their iced Sparkle Pony.
Their chai and golden milk lattes are not good. But we didnt try their coffee, maybe thats fine
I really like this coffee shop. It is a great cup of coffee with unpretentious service.
Great coffee. The foam on coffee is so thick and creamy. The store is clean and has free Wi-Fi.
The staff is very friendly, (no coffee snobs) and its spacious and comfortable to work in and have small meetings. The best of neighborhood coffee shops.
