Downtown coffee shop a little bit hidden in an office building at the corner of the freeway park. Service was friendly and my latte was pretty good. The store has a fun vibe with several seating areas inside and a few more tables outside. It looks like a good place to get a to-go morning coffee, or to sit down and get some reading / work done.
This was my first visit to Voxx. They poured an exceptional hemp cortado. It was the first espresso drink I’ve had in a glass since the pandemic started.Voxx is also ridiculously easy to get to if you’re driving into the city. Take the Seneca Street exit off I-5 then turn right.Kudos to Voxx for also designing the coolest micro booth to work in with fast wifi; to make sure you don’t share it with someone [i.e. perfect social distancing].Voxx will be added to my very short list of Seattle places to sip finely crafted espresso drinks.
Best iced coffee Ive had in a while. Nice staff. Dont mind the coked-out dude screaming outside.
This is an amendment to my original review...a couple weeks ago my husband and I stopped in to get a coffee. The ambiance and staff were very pleasant. However the coffee was not up to our standards, which is what I used for my initial review. The owner reached out to me personally and was very concerned about our poor experience, which was very appreciated. Next time were in town Id be willing to give Voxx Coffee a try again.
Awesome professional staff dedicated to quality with efficiency. Great job guys!!
Day 3 in Seattle, & already missing my early morning coffee fix. Clearly staying away from the complimentary coffee machine & ground coffee bean pockets in the room, ventured out at 6 in the morning for my caffeine fix. With a little help from google I managed to find Voxx Coffee in a short walk from the hotel.Quick & friendly service, ordered my morning poison, my usual, a small Hazelnut Cappuccino, which was excellent by the way. Thanks Voxx for opening so early to ease out my pain of finding good coffee so early in downtown Seattle
This place was awesome - the best coffee I have ever tasted! The setup of the store, the ambience, the service, and mostly the quality of the coffee was just incredible. I loved how they take their time in making your drink to perfection. My barista was very nice and helped me navigate the choices given this was my first time there. Highly, highly recommended!
Smoothest cold brew I’ve ever tasted
A small shop with decent sandwiches. Room enough for a quick coffee meetup but wouldnt recommend for larger groups.
If you want to go to the best coffee shop in Seattle, Voxx is the place to go. Their coffee is head and shoulders above any other establishment in town and they have a vast menu for you to choose from. The staff are very friendly, the prices extremely reasonable and the mid-century modern decor is the perfect environment in which you can lounge, read a book, work on your laptop or simply savor the great ambiance.
These online pictures of coffee and reviews prior to mine were enticing and Googles description I read made it the number 1 place to go for a cup of coffee in Seattle. I expected to be interested in its futuristic ambiance etc and distinguished unique Seattle coffee. I WAS LET DOWN. Right when I walked in, it was a boring cookie cutter coffee joint. I did not get the design on top of my mocha. In my As hat and selfie stick, most out of town places I go enthusiastically welcome me with the money look (I like it). Yes I did spend money on a rice milk mocha. I assume that they are exclusively welcoming to their regulars - having come in with the joint empty (how do I know how they treat everybody else). I was hardly even noticed and I did not see any smiles. Those cold stares made me want to leave immediately after I got my coffee - which the coffee was good and a appreciate the rice milk option.
Voxx Coffee Downtown has some pre-made sandwiches from Mikes or something like that, but I havent had them yet. I just stop by for their delicious mochas.Ive taken my coffee to go each time (so far) because my office IS so close by, but they do have some tables and a couple of express work stations (tabletop and stool) hidden in the little nooks next to the place where you order your caffeine.Over-all, a great new spot to grab coffee. Hope they can build up a loyal following and stay open!
Came here while a lot of Seattle attractions, restaurants, and stores were closed or had modified hours due to COVID. Voxx had limited indoor dining, which was reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried! The cortado was balanced, and steamed to perfection. Lattes were as well. I had some of their espresso by itself and it was given to me in a proper ceramic cup with a cup of bubbly water. It was some of the best espresso I’ve ever had. Creamy mouthfeel, balanced flavors, and clearly prepared by a professional. I also got their drip coffee along side the previous drinks. I believe they were brewing their house blend the whole time. As you’d expect, it was also delicious. The baristas were friendly and talented! I wish I paid more attention to their store hours, because I missed my opportunity to get beans from them!Overall, if you’re stopping in Seattle and want to try some delicious craft coffee, Voxx is a must!
Wonderful corner coffee shop easily visible in the Park Place Building on 6th. It was open at 6 am with friendly baristas who quickly prepared a delicious Americano and heated a pre-made breakfast sandwich that was much better than expected. If you need some good coffee and friendly service- this is a wonderful example of what Seattle has to offer.
What a lovely little place to be discovered!
They go out of their way for their customers, which is probably cute. If given the chance, we will return!
Voxx Coffee Downtown is a great little coffee spot - Ive been meaning to try Voxx since my company moved up the street and finally got in there today. The coffee is excellent and comparably priced to other cafes. I loved the breakfast burritos and sandwiches they had available. Perfect for a quick, cost effective lunch! I had the OBrien breakfast burrito and it was about $4 - tasty, fast, and cheap. The ladies at the counter were all lovely and happy to answer my random questions about their menu. I will definitely be back and will send my coworkers over as well.
This coffee shop is has a good vibe with good coffee. I have been here a few times and all different times of the day. I will say it can get busy and loud when its prime coffee time. It would not be my first place for a meet and greet or even a spot to get some work done. The space is fairly small which doesnt help but by yourself it is great and a nice spot to hang out in for your cup of coffee. I wouldnt discourage anyone from checking it out! Give this view a thumbs to help others.
This was my go to coffee shop for years when I worked downtown. The staff new my regular order. The vibe is great. The coffee is good also.
Love their coffee 😍
My go-to coffee shop when I am in Seattles financial district during business hours. I dont go here for the coffee, which is admittedly just OK by Seattle standards, but rather for the cozy atmosphere. Very well lit sitting area with comfy seating and I rather appreciate the 1970s minimalist design aesthetic which just happens to be in a 1970s minimalist office building. Too bad this coffee shop is closed on weekends with it sitting right adjacent to freeway park! Be sure to check out the Eastlake location which IS open on weekends.
The hot turkey sandwich was super delicious and the orange cinnamon mocha was a game changer. Not too sweet and youre basically drinking the best chocolate orange ever, because it has coffee. There was plenty of seating and the staff was nice and efficient. Skip Starbucks and go to Voxx.
I cant get through the day without Voxx. Great lattes. Friendly staff. Nice place to sit down for a snack, or run through for coffee. Great finish on espresso drinks. Fast service!
Coffee was good but Ive had better in Seattle. Customer service not bad. I would go again.
The coffee was very meh. Friend and I got a cappuccino and a mocha, and we were both underwhelmed. Friendly staff, my mocha tasted like chai, and they went ahead and remade it. The remade one tasted bland, neither chocolatey nor coffee-like.Small cozy interior with a few seats. The coffee makes this place not worth returning to
I love Voxx - their hot chocolates are some of my favorite in Seattle. They make good scones and have a cute atmosphere. ☀️
I really enjoy coming here. What a great ambiance. Wonderful coffee.
I love that they have breakfast burritos at Voxx Coffee. They warm it up for you too and theyre delicious! Their coffees are good and priced similar to other nice coffee shops. I ordered the chai tea latte, and it was decent. Nothing special, just the typical chai. Mornings are super busy so be prepared to wait in line for both your coffee and breakfast. The location is great too for folks who work in the downtown area. I love the modern atmosphere inside the restaurant. There arent very many tables/seats, but once you sit down, its pretty comfortable.
They make excellent coffee and have great breakfast burritos. The staff is really nice, skilled baristas.
Good service good coffee. thanks so much for a wonderful morning
Really cute shop right off the street. Never too busy in the morning which means you can get a great coffee quick!
Classy little place for coffee and sandwiches during the workday, good for short business chats but the tables do fill up quickly.
Great coffee, wonderful staff. The vibe is pretty chill
Latte is delicious. Blueberry scone hit the spot. Not sure why people still go to Starbucks when good coffee and espresso can be had so easily now.
Extremely well crafted espresso drinks. Extra hot when asked, not too sweet and has a creamy but strong flavor.
Prices are decent for where they are at. The drip coffee is great - in my opinion, the best in the area. The americanos are my favorite of all the coffee shops nearby. Decent selection of foodstuffs - not somewhere i would go for lunch, but great for a quick snack - healthy and sweet options alike.
Interior so retro! Stay a while and enjoy it. My almond milk cappuccino was delish!
Very nice people friendly
Awesome coffee and food! wifi is weak here but still great place to get some work done
What a wonderful little coffee shop in downtown Seattle. Took us a minute to figure out its entrance is on the outside of the hotel. The staff was knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly, the coffee was perfect.
Country girl in the big city, now thoroughly embarrassed via lack of communication. Yall ready for a funny story?I walk in at 930 AM on a Tuesday morning, order an Americano, and wait for my drink to be called. I get it and proceed to doctor up my drink, but I didnt see anywhere to put the dirty spoons.I asked the staff where to put my dirty utensils and without looking up, pausing to show me, or skipping a beat, the gal says, There is a bus tray right here...I saw the big metal canister on the counter with some metal in it and thought that is what she must be referring to since thats all I could see... So I happily pitched my spoon into it only to hear, OhmyGod NO thats my espresso...turns out that was full of espresso beans.Great, lady, I understand it was a bit busy... it would have taken a couple of seconds to look up from what you were doing. Maybe bus trays should be in a more visible area for people unfamiliar with the cafe. Now to rate the actual coffee, it was good, I am pleased. The customer service, however, not so thorough.
Small location with some seating, great change from cookie cutter coffee shops, with its own decor and music. Well priced and good value
Nice coffee joint. Wifi password is lighthouse
You have to try to coconut milk latte with the orange peel on top! Not a coffee person and this place blew my mind. Definitely going back for more.
There coffee tastes really good. It one of my new favorites and is up there with Vivace, Vita, and Stumptown. They serve sandwhiches and quick bites from White Knuckle Foods and they also have baked goods.
Great prices! Coffee is great, food selection is great, service is lovely.
After spending some time looking for something on par with Kaladi coffee I finally found a great spot! Amazing coffee, awesome staff and I can now say Seattle coffee doesnt totally suck :)
Relaxed space. Average quality drip coffee.
Absolutely amazing coffee, lattes, and mochas. Friendly baristas and a cool vibe.
One of the most underrated aspects of this cafe is that it rhymes with 🦊.
A little over priced, but the baristas are all artists and their drinks are excellent. If you have an extra buck I would recommend.
This shop is my go to coffee shop. Quality and taste are outrageously good. The pastries and other snacks are delicious too. The staff are super friendly and I just love the atmosphere. At the weekend when this place is closed I go to the one in Eastlake to get my fix. You can regularly see folks lingering there with a coffee to chat or studiously working on laptops and reading.Phill
Good coffee, nice interior. Take a look at the old world map on the wall.
Very smooth latte, friendly employees at both locations. My favorite coffee shop in Seattle.
Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Very friendly staff and quick service.
Great coffee but no real breakfast options available at 6am
The Santa Fe breakfast burrito was great, but the iced coffee was burnt to hell.
They have good coffee and for a quick bite they offer good hot sandwiches from White Knucke.
Great coffee and exceptional service. The retro atmosphere of this shop adds a great element to the experience.
Fantastic coffee, I walk the extra blocks to come here daily
Super delicious coffee. I love this place.
Top quality coffee, pastries, sandwhiches and other breakfast deliciousness. The line is usually long but baristas are quick and know what theyre doing, so you get to the front pretty fast.Macrina pastries? Yes please!!!Ohhhhh smell of coffee...
The cup of capuccino was a bit dissapointing, the taste was ok, but the milk foam wasn’t good, don’t expect nice latteart...
Good coffee, good location, good service.
Excellent coffee, friendly staff and reasonable cost. Really worth dropping by.
Friendly, knowledgable staff combined with perfectly crafted coffee. If downtown Seattle is where you are, this is well worth it
Staff was lovely and the cardamom vanilla latte was delicious!
This little coffee spot is tucked in the bottom floor of a hotel and you could easily pass it by, but you would be missing out if you did.Great coffee with super friendly staff.
Unfriendly staff when i was there. mediocre food. Not interested in going back.
Good coffee, but very busy in the morning
The best ever cappuccino
Good mocha and nice location right next to the freeway park
The really know how to make delicious espresso and latte!!!
Latte wasnt good for me. I expected too much to be impressed.
Not the best coffee Ive had for the price, but mightve just been because I ordered a seasonal special.
Best almond milk latte around!!! Most people burn the milk!!! Thank you Voxx!
Nice small coffeeshop
Fun place and delicious espresso.
Great coffee shop, friendly, fast and good coffee.
The coffee is the best in the area.
Delicious coffee selections
Super rad service, delicious espresso
Loved the Italian sodas!
Great coffee and service
Fabulous, loved it...
Delicious!
I like the coffee here
