Come here for great coffee, housemade chai, and sandwiches made when you order them. We had both the veggie breakfast sandwiches, and they were savory and perfectly toasted. The atmosphere is cozy. Park in the back for accessibility — the well-built ramp into the building starts there. Definitely a neighborhood gem!
Good food and relaxed atmosphere - I came here to work for a few hours and had lunch / tea and it was enjoyable.
The food was good and the service was good. I think the sandwich I had was priced a little high but it was a nice crispy croissant and they brought it out to us.
I just moved back from LA and was so happy to visit this neighborhood spot. The new management is excellent and so kind! They definitely created such a warm and welcoming place for me to get some sweet treats! Did you know they have mulled wine- what a great way to enjoy your walk during a Seattle rainy winter’s day. I can’t wait to come back on the regular!
Anna was great 💕 and the outdoor seating was old school colored benches that got chips and wear/ tear on it. but it was a nice spot for quick brunch with friends ! they had mushroom with chai tea ☕️ and had bagels/ croissant turkey cheese sandwiches !!
We visited here about two years ago on our honey moon and fell in love with it so we came back this month during our road trip! Its under new management but the owner/worker was very sweet, helpful and made small talk with my wife and I. Coffee was still AMAZING and I wish I lived closer to them but will continue to go anytime I visit SeattlePlus, the outside seating and plants is super cute and welcoming
Great place, friendly staff. Gluten free options and I even got a book to borrow! I got the white chocolate mocha and the gf jam scone, get it toasted, its delicious.
Love this spot! Great neighborhood vibe, the folks who work there are so kind and friendly. I had a chai, and the woman “warned” me that it’s a bit different because they make it in house from scratch so it doesn’t have any added sugar. It was DELICIOUS, just what I was looking for. Highly recommend :)
Cute café with excellent drinks, food, and pastries. The patio is open to the sun with plenty of seating options to social distance or to relax with friends. The baristas are always beyond friendly and accommodating.
Excellent coffee and staff. Cute outdoor seating.
Wonderful coffee! Wonderful food! Wonderful atmosphere! Will be coming back 😌
Great outdoor seating and vibes! Good food
Even during a snowstorm they have wonderful service, hot drinks, and the clearest sidewalks around ;) Thanks for serving the community with your kind conversation, and tasty treats!
Wonderful breakfast sandwiches. They only serve dark roast coffee, so no joy there for me.
Under new owners and they are doing a great job. I love the croissant sandwiches for a quick bite. The baked goods are fresh and the Coffee strong. They do a great verity of specialty drinks too. The staff is friendly and the environment is quiet and relaxing.
Blue Saucer is our go to lazy morning neighborhood spot! Service is always friendly & efficient, and their breakfast sandwiches really are to die for. Thanks, Blue Saucer!
Good coffee; friendly service, outdoor neighborhood feel
The hosts are friendly & nice. I love their authentic Indian chai tea 👌🏾
It was a good experience overall, I felt limited because of how many items were out of stock. Patio was comfortable and allowed enough space to have private conversations with is great. Our order was brought out to us with thoughtful consideration so we didnt have to ask for anything afterwards. I should of asked if you could have warmed up the muffin, because even though it was tasty - it would of been amazing warm.
It is a charming little coffee shop/cafe. It is close to hospital that I go to every 6 months for an IV infusion for a neurological disease I have. Those infusions last 6 hours, and typically whoever brings me goes to get me breakfast while Im at the hospital. Today was the first time I physically went in myself, and it was very welcoming and comfortable. They have fresh baked goods, scones, brownies, several bagel options, breakfast sandwiches, etc. They also have a fairly varied drink menu with all the usual coffee shop drinks, plus smoothies, frappes, and other seasonal offerings. We placed a rather large order and the woman working there alone was very accommodating and efficient. It is wheelchair accessible but a small interior so probably not ideal for larger groups.Lovely food and drinks and service. :)
Love neighborhood Cafe! Tasty bites and aromatic brews!
Under new ownership! Ive gotten great coffee from here since I began working in the neighborhood last month, and they offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well that look super tasty. Staff is friendly and they have some sweet outdoor seating. Take advantage of the hot COVID summer and get a sandwich and iced coffee to eat outside! Its almost like we can live normally!
I love this little neighborhood coffee shop. Im only here a few times a year because I get my oil changed next door, but every time Im here its a good experience.I typically get the $5 teapot with biscotti cookies (the best combo), but this time the owner, who is incredibly welcoming and helpful, recommended the chai with cardamom. Their chai is house-made and absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend that.
Cute for coffee and a snack, but only 2 gluten free options. Fine for a snack but no lunch offerings if you are super hungry.
UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP : ) The new owner is very sweet, and the place is super clean, with good music, good vibes, and good coffee. I spent the day here recently while working remotely and its really wonderful!
Lovely spot for coffee and pastries.
Couldnt have been nicer & coffee was excellent. I will definately return.
Our favorite espresso stand.
Great place, delicious food & drinks, outdoor seating.
Great little place! The vibe is chill, the coffee is good, the food is good. All around nice place to have a cup of coffee, tea or whatever warm comforting drink you may require (dont think they do alcohol though ;)
My fiance and I used to go here for over a year, but it seems the staff has totally changed. What once was a very enjoyable experience with friendly faces, turned out to be an incredibly long wait for 3 items and multiple awkward encounters with the staff. My friend and I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches on bagels, using the make your own sheet provided. Ordering the food seemed straight forward and I didnt have any issues. After ordering, things changed drastically. We ultimately waited almost a half an hour for 3 sandwiches to go, and the one woman making the sandwiches began to argue with my friend (this was already 20min in to waiting) about some confusion with what he wanted on the sandwich. When she was done speaking, she made a face clearly indicating her annoyance and made us feel put out for the exchange. While the sandwich ended up being great, the customer service was poor, the wait was VERY long, and the local vibe I once enjoyed has surely changed. Unfortunately, I doubt Ill come back.
Cute place weve noticed many times. VERY limited choice weekdays for food. Sandwich was warm not hot.and we were only ones there.Pleasant one person staff.Probably wont be back.
Great food! Can not stress this enough. My boyfriend and I went there for the breakfast sandwiches and they were amazing. However the staff was very unprofessional. The two woman bickered amongst themselves and didn’t hide their annoyance that my boyfriend and I chose to eat out on the patio instead of inside. (It was a beautiful day!) It wasn’t a welcoming feeling and I don’t think I’ll be going back for that and the price.
Beautiful London fog and Morning Glory muffin and beautiful customer service! Thank you 😊❤️ 💕😍
My only complaint about this place was that the different menu items were in so many locations I didnt see all of them till after Id ordered and sat down! otherwise very good food and service. coffee cups werent quite filled all the way but were tasty. they have some fun fancy marshmallows which was cute and yummy.
Pretty good stop in the Green Lake neighborhood. The reason for the four stars is because of the efficiency of the flow. It felt unorganized. The potential in this place is high. The coffee was decent and the croissant breakfast sandwich was so good. The ham tasted smoked which was a nice surprise.
This is such a lovely bistro/cafe in our city. The recently added homemade pastries are heavenly!
The whole experience was uncomfortable and I think mostly a place for wealthy white people living their best white lives. It just has an air of caucasity. Aside from that, the large sandwiches are tiny and overpriced and, you dont get the chips like it is advertised online. The fruit that comes with the sandwich is one sliver of an orange. They dont serve any sandwiches with ham anymore because it goes bad too quickly. The coffee is gross. The drip is undrinkable, but the espresso is tolerable.Edit: In response to whomever replied back to me, its clear they have no understanding about what racism is because you cant be racist against white people. Also everyone working in the restaurant was white or white passing, except for one person.
This is a nice little coffee shop set inside a remodeled trailer. The coffee here is excellent. The pastries are usually a day old and far from great. Havent tried the actual food here, but every time Ive been in, theres a regular that orders something to eat from their menu. Id call that a good sign. That and the fact that theres almost always one regular in the shop.
Friendly service. Good menu with outstanding breakfast sandwiches. Cozy, homey interior. Great alternative to corporate coffee and an unobtrusive gem on Roosevelt in Maple Leaf.
Great sandwiches! I love the turkey avocado. Everyone is always nice and the sandwiches are made pretty quick. They always come out with fresh ingredients.
A bit pricey. But coffee excellent. Staff friendly. Wish they had fountain sodas, so Id not have to pay for can by can. Also, I dont like these new terminals that guilt you into paying a tip. With no table service, tips seem like an extra tax. So pay with cash and avoid that.
Oh my. I forgot about this gem. Amazing service, cook was just on his game. Best damned egg, veggie sausage, mozzarella spinach & tomato breakfast sandwich evah. Good coffee and the cashier/server was so sweet to our little ones. Thanks so much!!
Just stopped in for the first time and had a great turkey avocado sandwich and coconut latte. A friendly, casual neighborhood spot. Ill be back.
I just left and loved all aspects of this place.Small space in-dining, however seats are also outside.I ordered a 12 oz latte, chocolate croissant and turkey bacon avocado w/ bag of chips. All that led to under 20 bucks which is actually very good considering you can get the SAME QUALITY for twice the price anywhere else.Check this place out yall
This coffee shop was the cutest place i saw while visiting Seattle by far. They had good employees. Good coffee, amazing sandwiches. Just an all around good environment.
Nice but small. The coffee is good bit it is a small place..a bit cramped. However in the summers it is great to hang out in their garden, they have nice tables outside.
Decent place to stop by for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. We ordered a breakfast sandwich with peppers and no mayo, but received no peppers (edited from jalapeños, meant to say peppers) and globs of mayo. Other than that, it was tasty. Dogs are allowed on the patio, although its pretty small so more than one or two dogs might get a bit crowded.
Disappointing. Having just moved here from out of state I was excited to find a cute little breakfast and coffee spot. The first thing I noticed was that most of the plants and flowers out front or dead were in horrible need of attention. I only took one picture as I didn’t really want to take the time. Inside, there was an overwhelming aroma of smoke that did not clear. I was going to eat breakfast but their selection was limited, only breakfast sandwiches which did not appeal to me at the time. There were two employees working, two of the empty tables were dirty. Not the cleanest environment overall. I ordered a cappuccino, Which by the way was really good but I have to say the ambience was nothing I’d like to experience again. No friendly communication between staff and customers, and for a good cup of cappuccino I’m sure I can find another spot that fosters a friendly, clean environment.
The staff I was knowledgeable kind courteous attentive to the customers. people think this should be regular but they know its not its special when you find excellence and I found it at the blue saucer Cafe
In town visiting and needed my morning coffee each morning. The coffee is great, the staff super friendly & the vibe is excellent! Free WiFi too. Convenient location on Roosevelt & 92nd.5 stars!!
One of my very favorite coffee establishments in Seattle. The owners are very personable and the customers are all very friendly. This is an excellent place to meet a friend or spread out the books to study. Blue Saucer is the epitome of a cozy neighborhood coffee shop.
Food was perfectly good, but waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches because they were complicated - no, two simple grilled sandwiches. Other customers who ordered after us were served sooner because their orders were easier
You MUST try their mexican mocha! with all the works. DO NOT skip out on whipped cream, sprinkles and HOUSE MADE marshmellows. I dream about this drink. its SO good :) :) :)
So yummy and had gluten free! Decent prices
Rough few weeks apparently...I know youre under new management and its been close to a month so theres still lots to figure out. But I wouldnt be charging full price for the pastries that are wrapped up on the counter, my cookie I had today was obviously 2+ days old. I was also charged for a latte with flavor instead of a cafe au lait which should be less since it doesnt use espresso (its made with drip coffee and steamed milk). I can tell I had a latte which is fine but not what I asked for.Half the items on the menu were out of stock and service was incredibly slow.Hope you have better luck figuring out inventory and customer service. At least the coffee tasted good.
Delicious! Neighborhood spot.
Good coffee, the pesto chicken sandwich was very good but a bit messy. Gave it a 4 star rating because I order the sandwich on a crossiant but they served on sourdough bread which I normally dont like. Still very good though would return
Get the bagel sandwich!!! I get mine with provolone, bacon, tomatoes, and honey mustard. Its incredible. Ive had hundreds of bagel samdwiches elsewhere and somehow this ia SO much better. Its a cute little shop with indoor and outdoor seating. It feels like you stepped off the busy street into your grandmas home town diner. Love this place, and I frequently leave early for work just to allow time to stop here.
I popped in here to wait for my car to be worked on next store. I got a short caramel latte and a rueben. I like that they offer half sandwich choices. I really liked my coffee. The foam was very foamy and delicious. The rueben was delightful. Well portioned. I think it would be nice if they let the kraut warm more as it was cold and kinda chilled the whole sandwich, but it was still really good. I sat and (maybe I didnt hear order called out) my order was delivered to me, which I thought was pretty cool. I would frequent this cafe whenever Im in the area.
Probably the best breakfast sandwich Ive had in a long time. The wait is a little long. But totally worth it.
I got a large drip coffee and they skimped me an inch off the top for some cream. Kind of a joke, didnt think it was so hard to pour a full cup of liquid, then expect a tip to? It was a to go order, thanks for the free refill anyway!
Incredible local hang spot. Couldnt ask for a better place to sit n enjoy this unique district.
I dogsit in the area and always love swinging by during the morning walks. The owner always introduces himself to the dogs. So friendly! Delicious breakfast sandwiches.
Cool little breakfast/lunch/coffee shop. Quick service. Tasty breakfast sandwich on a croissant, but you can also have in a bagel. Free WiFi.
The food was good but it took us almost a half hour to get two americanos and the staff seemed to not quite know what was going on in regards to customer service. Its frustrating because I like this place and the idea around it and the food but I dont know if Ill be back. It was weird.
Updated review. Under new management. Lost the amazing breakfast sandwiches and now no longer offer customizable breakfast sandwiches. Also, only have plain or everything bagels (ran out of everything bagels on our visit). Breakfast sandwiches are now very bland without the flavor from the variety of bagels and previously offered toppings. Really disappointed in the changes so far under new management but will try again in a couple of months to see if anything has changed.
Really cute breakfast and lunch date spot! Great chai tea, and lots of non dairy options! Love!
Food was not surprising, the Italian sodas were very good and the atmosphere was very cozy
Cute little coffee shop. Yummy sandwiches!
The staff here is awesome. I come nearly every day to have coffee and read the paper before work and my late is usually ready by the time I spread out my paper. The staff and owners are friendly, the service is great, the coffee is good and they have some new tastey and therefreshing cold drinks for summer.
Good coffee and sandwiches
A+ service, good food, and friendly and helpful servers. A very laid back place for to spend a lunch hour.
OMG!! Bagels are delicious here, and coffee too. Highly recommended. I had an Ice Latte and a ham, egg and cheese wheat bagel. 😋👌🏼
Great breakfast sandwiches; great coffee; perfect atmosphere and walking distance from my house 👍😀
Wonderful little coffee shop! Very nice young folks working there and great breakfast burritos.
Both my Americano and my friends latte were burnt. Given better reviews here, quality must be hit or miss. Places that cannot maintain a standard are best avoided as you never know what youre going to get.
For lunch... Turkey, bacon and swiss on sourdough. Fantastic.
Very cute cafe with friendly staff and Amazing breakfast sandwiches! Highly recommend it!
Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches, croissants and other foods. I go in primarily in the morning.
Little small, but definitely comfy atmosphere to grab coffee or a snack. Friendly staff can never be beaten.
Only had one lunch sandwich here and it was really really good.
Great little spot to grab a bite. Friendly service
Great little place with parking friendly snacks and COFFEE will come back
Good coffee with GF food options. Good place for light study.
Small space with a lot of options. Great vibe and delicious food. Had a variety of dietary options.
Food and coffee were both delicious! Love the bagel breakfast sandwich
Seriously the best Chai Tea Latte Ive ever had.
Love their white coffee, staff is GREAT, and their pastries are homemade status and DELICOUS as well!
Can be cramped inside when the weather turns south. Food is better than most coffee shops
