Very clean and pretty cafe! Service was friendly and fast! They have a variety of lattes, matcha, coffee beans, mugs, and baked goods for sale. They also have non-dairy milk options including oatmilk. Would recommend stopping by!

While I was a bit concerned ... old starbucks building, same church hucka coffee????. But No. A great cup of coffee, milk steamed to perfection, and a friendly and knowledgeable crew .. fabulous addition to Columbia city.

This is a beautiful cafe! The coffee is delicious, and I can tell that comes from the staff that put care and focus into their work. It is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Best coffee in Seattle. Been going here every weekend for nearly a year. Saturday and Sunday always start with a cappuccino and a cookie. Staff are very kind. Decor is pleasant. Coffee and food options are delicious. Light years above the Starbucks that previously occupied this space.

To say the baristas were entitled and rude would be an understatement. They made me feel as if I would be privileged to simply be in their presence after ordering me to stand in line when there was only one person ahead of me and then proceeded to treat me as if I couldnt understand a menu that had confusion and misrepresentation in the way it was presented That resulted in an additional expense for almond milk when the drink said it was your choice....As a coffee roaster myself and as somebody who normally gives five-star reviews I was mildly disgusted with the treatment I received with my wife... and the attitude of the baristas was deplorable...other than the one gentleman who was working there who was quite helpful.Lets just say that although the coffee was delicious the entire experience left await for itAcrid taste in my mouth.Entitled Baristas Untie!

If you’re looking for a less expensive option, there’s Empire Espresso practically across the street.Olympia’s twist on the London Fog features a dash of dried rose petals on top. Order it hot or cold.Multiple alt-milk options are available, as well as some local snacks and bakery items.Online ordering for pickup is available.COVID: The shop is divided into a single loop to maintain a flow and seating areas are blocked off. The baristas are always wearing masks, and the biggest issue I’ve had is with eager patrons wanting to stand in the store when they should wait outside for others to leave. Hand sanitizer is available for customers, and plexiglass divides the customers and baristas. No-contact payment is available.(Photos are from initial opening and do not reflect COVID times.)

Enjoyed the coffee but had an interesting exchange with a barista. Asked if I could get some help with questions about brewing equipment. They replied with, “thanks, have a good rest of your day” and turned around to talk with the other barista. Odd and weirdly off-putting

They messed up my order after I waited in line for 20min because they were too busy filling online orders instead of focusing on the people who walked in.

Staff is excellent, pastry was good. But I dont know what the heck happened to the coffee. I had a black drip terrible, my friend had a Mocha that was undrinkable. Im not sure what they did but neither of us could drink it.

Went out of our way to find and support local business...was excited to enjoy something unique and tip generously.Was very disappointed; coffee was okay, but that would have been forgivable had the service been polite.Two of the three employees were friendly, the one who was assisting with the pour-over was condescending and extremely rude, noticeably to POC customers — Observed multiple customers interact with this employee, and he was condescending and rude toward others as well.Would not support this store in the future or recommend.

Amazing coffee shop! Much welcomed replacement of the Starbucks. Great pour overs of course and a tasty selection of sweet and savory pastries. This place has a good vibe but seating can be hard to find during busy times.

Literally the only coffee worth buying

I expected a lot out of Olympia as Ive had it before and its been good. The cortado I got was scalding hot and poured from the same milk that was steamed for the previous customers latte...so there was a ton of foam. Highly average and not worth going to when there is better coffee around.

Huge fan of Olympia roasts for the home espresso machine, and their cafe does not disappoint. Amazing baristas who actually know how to Lille a shot, tasty samples, and great customer service. Pastries awesome as well from Left Bank Pastries

Really enjoyed the coffee shop. Its nice to have another place for coffee and meet friends that offer open space. Although, I am already seeing lotsof people starting to set up their own office space which is why is I stopped going to Empire coffee it started to feel to personal like someone living room and smell like it too. I understand checking emails but some folks set up shop and dont move on.

Limited but high quality selection of hot drinks. I ordered a pastry which was ok. Nice ambiance. Music was at an appropriate volume. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the wifi. Calling it slow would be an insult to something that is slow. It was free and did technically function but you may want to hot spot your phone instead. Great little spot and Ill be here a lot Im sure when I have time to kill in Columbia City.

They take the time to make the coffee right.

I went with my fiancé and he got a matcha latte and the cup was not full, and I had a Olympia fog and it was horrible. You could not taste the vanilla or oat milk in the tea. All you could taste was bad tasting tea and water. I would not recommend going here. Coffee is over priced for what you get.

This is an awesome coffee shop with a retro decour inside. The coffee is very good and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of my a absolute favorite coffee shops. Its not as quiet as a typical café because it was so busy, but you cannot beat the coffee.

Coffee is great, pastries are really great, service is excellent, staff is friendly, and space is beautiful and light filled.Unfortunately the wifi doesnt work very well so I cant recommend it as a good place to study.

I live in the neighborhood and Ive been waiting for this place to open. I have been to the other Olympia Coffee shops and have had a great experience. I gotta be honest, and say that my experience today was a bit of a letdown. I ordered a half decaf latte and it took the barista about 20 minutes to dial in the grind. 4 games of Uno later with my son he had finally finished making my latte. Dont get me wrong, Im glad the Barista took the time to get the grind right but I dont think its acceptable to wait that long for a cup of coffee without the store offering to buy your coffee or give you some sort of free drink for the next time you visit. Seems reasonable dont you think?

I do apologise for trying to order a cup a tea, when it became obvious that acknowledging my existence was far too difficult a task I opted to leave. And you still ignored me. That just happened. Your company is terrible.
