Great ice cream parlor.I mostly tried their sorbets, such as cantaloupe, passion fruit and kiwi. Each of them had a powerful flavor.You can also get some coffee at the same time.Its a perfect spot too get an afternoon snack.

We came here because of the good reviews. We are not coming back.If you are looking to get Gelato for a kid, the flavors will speak to you but if you were looking for a more sophisticated experience, this is not it.I tried the chocolate and the straciatella. Also tried another one with lemon. All favors were simply fatty and underwhelming (as well as overpriced at I think $6.5 for a small cup with two balls.)

Best Gelato place in the neighborhood. The medium sized gelato in my bf’s hands were just $14. So many flavors to choose from and the staffs were customer friendly. Must try place in union st and limited yet tasty pastries.

I went today for first time and those ice cream are really Italian! Best ice cream I’be ever tried in SF, forget all those famous ice cream places. They have all the classic flavors and they are super welcoming and nice (also helpful!). Really, I love the place! (They also have coffee, milkshakes and other Italian treats)

Was supposed to be open til 10- told limited hours due to Covid on arrival at 9:20pm.Offered 2 flavor options. Seemed very cavalier about not having any options. Poor customer service. Won’t come back…

You can tell that the owner is passionate about her work! Chatted with her and she was so friendly. Stracciatella is a must try!!!! Just like the one you have in Italy! - if you’re vegan they also have tons of options.

Absolutely the best Gilato we have ever had outside Italy :)The Fruit flavors are so close to the actual fruit that you feel like you are eating fruit and not icecream.We ate Cantaloupe, peach, Apricot, Mango and Raspberry. I wish I had more space in my stomach!!!

The best ice cream that I had so far in San Francisco and the only one that has fresh cream like in Italy. I love the taste and the freshness of the flavors. I got meet the owners and where really sweet and shared that they have several locations in Italy. It is a define must go to! I will definitely come back and bring my fellow Italians there.

Even though everyone is still sheltering in place, this place is still open!!! The staff was kind and helpful. I got 2 different flavors in a cup and it was just enough. There are a few benches outside. I would definitely come back here again!!

Lattes and tiramisu ice cream delicious-

I had the vegan cookies and cream flavor. The vegan gelato contains banana which I dont typically like but I couldnt taste the banana at all and the gelato was delicious. They have a few vegan options!

The BEST gelato, no...the BEST frozen dessert ever. Seriously. My mouth waters thinking about this place 😂 I didnt know gelato could be this good. Its rich, smooth and the flavors are clean and true. The chocolate is amazing, the chocolate cacao is truly the star and you can taste the difference from other places where the chocolate in the chocolate is weak, diluted or just bad quality. Not here. I also tried the pistachio, and my husband had the orange vanilla (I think), it had candied orange peels in it, very well done and true to flavor. None of that fake overly sweet syrupy stuff. And seriously, that chocolate gelato is what my chocolate-lover dreams are made of. Keep bringing the world amazing gelato!! I hope to come back one day when we are back in the area.

This is real deal gelato. Ive been missing the authentic gelato from Italy but this takes me back. The chocolate one was so rich and luscious. The pistachio was light and nutty and the vanilla creamy and sweet. The service was lackluster but the gelato makes up for it.

Wow - some of the best staff Ive ever interfaced with!!!Walked in last night and was greeted quickly by our server, who offered some suggestions and scooped out tasters for us to try. I always feel so bad asking for tastes, but being offered I simply couldnt resist. I ended up getting a small combo based on two flavors she had me try. You MUST try the almond if you can!!! Made in house and phenomenal.

Sooooo good! By far the best gelato Ive had in the US, and easily on par with what I remember from Italy. I had the pistachio and it was absolutely perfect in taste and texture. I cant wait to try more flavors and Ill be bringing my friends next time (socially distanced of course)!

The Italians know how to do it right. Period. Heavens on earth when it comes to Gelato - I discovered this place one day randomly while walking. Every flavour takes you in a different world, as if your tongue was literally speaking to you. Haha. I know the owner Patrizia, she is very cool, most importantly she is very humble and works REALLY hard everyday. One day I would love to open stores with her in partnership globally!I would specially drive miles to get my favorite flavor (including milkshakes), just like I am willing to specially log in and rate her a 7 stars if I could.

We had the Bacio and White chocolate, both were to die for! Guaranteed to visit again and often! Highly recommend stopping by. The gelato was soooo good I didnt get to take any pictures, a first bite affare turned into ciao ciao.

I cried when Coletta closed. But I dont miss it anymore because of Gio. Their chocolate hazelnut is good for the gods, and the pistachio gelato is equally compelling. Get a cup, grab a pint. And also buy some pistachio paste while youre at it, to slather onto your toast for breakfast next day.

Always a MUST when visiting SF.i always get the macaroon ice cream sandwiches.tried a cupcake cone. basically a cupcake in an ice cream cone but was still good.besides the ice cream, cupcakes, desserts, etc, i think they also sell food. but havent tried it.theres a line during peak hours after noon but the line moves fairly fast.small parking lot across the street and street parking in residential.staff is super friendly!

Stopped by late evening, glad to see they were still open. Very friendly service from the staff. We were offered tastes on tiny spoons. We decided on the Strawberry for the kiddo, Sour Cherry Chip for me, and Momma got the Espresso flavor. All were delicious!The owner, Guido, showed my kid around and she was very entertained!

The flavors of the gelato are intense! You can tell they use real and high quality ingredients.

Server started scooping before I named the flavors and handed the Gelato to me with 1/3 flavors I wanted.Came again and got the same result, server gave 2/3 of the flavors I wanted and added a tiny dab of the missing flavor which is the one I wanted the most.

This is the only real Italian gelato you’ll find in San Francisco. Amazing quality and customer service.

The best gelato in California. Low in sugar, you can just taste all the ingredients. I am an almond lover, very picky when it comes to details. The roasted almonds taste is AMAZING! Worth the drive just to try it. Pistacchio is great too, same as in the best Sicilian gelaterie. A must while in Frisco.

I am absolutely addicted to this gelato. Usually I do not even like ice cream or gelato but this is the best. I go there several times a week and I have seen large boxes of fresh fruit being delivered. I kept going there and did not gain any weight. I asked the owner and she said she goes easy on the cream. Some flavors do not have any milk or cream in them at all. They use so many fresh ingredients. Even the chocolate mint is made with real mint leaves-not mint extract.
