This is the best cup of coffee youve ever had! The food and service at this coffee shop are both excellent. Id like to buy more coffee from this shop because the coffee is delicious and the environment is good. They have found an outstanding, courteous, and welcoming staff. Get a cup of coffee as soon as you leave.

I really wanted to like this place, but I just can’t.- as several other reviews mentioned, the boba & bubble tea here is horrible do not buy- the iced tea is not that good eitherI haven’t gotten coffee here but that’s probably your best bet. The people working never seem that nice either..

I tired Oat Milk for the first time, it was something different I tell ya 😄. I love the vibes but It can feel crowded inside with all the stuff. They’ve placed some seating outside and it’s better for social distancing and just watching people pass by doing their thang. 👌👌

Great service, the barista was excellent! Its just hard to enjoy your beverage when the owner stands around in way on both sides of counter. He never speaks and at times stands at the door but doesnt greet customers. Lastly I watched an older lady drop a bag almost on his toe and he just walked away, didnt even offer to help.So so said.......man up!!!

Great little cafe to stop and have a coffee to go as you explore the neighborhood. Its a really small space so to go is best. The bubble tea is a bit too sweet but you can ask for it less sweet and then its perfect!

Amazing coffee in a shoppe with amazing decor. The young woman behind the counter didnt seem to be much older than 20, but she was juggling her job so well you think shes been doing this her whole life. She was able to not only take orders while completing orders but also hold conversations with almost everyone in the shop. Her name is Madison and she is very professional, very pleasant, and offers very fast service. I will be back again and again.

The coffee shop was very cute and inviting. The service was great and their cookies are delicious, but their boba was not my favorite. I know they are a coffee shop and not a boba shop and I am pleased that they offer many flavors. However, the milk tea (I had taro) was watery and had a weird flavor and the boba had a dryish center texture that was not pleasant.

Stopped in while waiting for a restaurant to open and was surprisingly delighted by this unassuming coffee shop! Just got a regular black coffee (to stay), but it was SO good. My sister had the almond croissant, and I have to say, it is the best croissant I have ever had in my life! (...and I was obsessed with them in my youth) We also got an almond butter cookie that just melts in your mouth...incredible. As in lick the crumbs off the plate incredible. The decor is funky and charming and eclectic and alllll packed into this tiny little spot. The woman who worked there (who I think owned the shop) was absolutely lovely! This is a great little gem of a spot and I will absolutely stop back in when in the area!

Really disappointed ! Got the Frank Sinatra drink. It was supposed to be espresso, chocolate, blueberry and milk. I got it also to use the bathroom as you can only use it if you get a drink above $4.95. My drink was basically just a bad cappuccino as the « chocolate » was a few of cacao powder and the blueberry, pure sugar from blueberry syrup... the taste was just sweet and not original at all.

Lady at register today was short tempered and inpatient, we knew what we wanted so it wasnt as if we were inconveniencing her, just trying to give you some money here! We dontwant to be in this cramped place any longer than we need to be. Taro milk tea with boba was decent, just used to my cup being filled to the top.

Love this small & cozy family owned coffee shop. A hidden gem in the Haight district. Always a treat to come here. Staff are truely welcoming & friendly. Tamara (the owner) is a sweet & charming lady. I like how they name their specialty coffee drinks after icons such as Frank Sinatra or Audrey Hepburn. Their baked goods & gelatos are a must try.

I was happy to find this coffee shop when visiting Haight Street last week.I needed a bit of a break,a decent coffee and a phone battery top up.The girls behind the counter were very cheery and made me feel welcome when I walked in.I ordered a latte and they even had hazelnut syrup.I plugged in my phone charger near the small table just inside the entrance and quietly enjoyed my well made latte. They also have a nice selection of light food and pastries available. After having walked up and down most of Haight Street I can say without a doubt this is the ideal pitstop for a nice coffee or tea.

They advertise boba on the signs outside so I tried it and it was 👎. Im sure the coffee and food is good but that boba might be the worst Ive ever had. Also it was 6 bucks for a regular boba drink not even a smoothie. 😩

This is, for my money, the best little coffee shop in the entire city. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the coffee is always amazing (everything from a simple Americano to one of their specialty drinks --go for the iced John Lennon!), and the various cookies, cakes and snacks are delicious.Do yourself a favor if youre anywhere near the Haight: Stop in and get a coffee!

I suspect you too will appreciate what I consider a guilty pleasure..ATMOSPHEREAn inviting atmosphere greets you that fills the visual sense with an eclectic concoction of European and Middle Eastern decor that blends comfortably. One design does not out do the other. The café wreaks of a calming sense not unlike the moments before an exciting adventure..LOCALECafé Cantăta is my favorite coffee shop in the Haight District of the sanctuary city of San Franchésco, CA.👍👀👍
